In The End .... It Will Matter
July 26th 2007 - 2:15 pm
It was currently fifthteen minutes after the hour. Standing there, awaiting this vehicle, I thought about another way out of this circle. However, there wasn't another way. Either I do the job, or he does the job and goes after my family, in which they're on the far west coast in California. So in other words, I had to do this shitty task.
Minutes quickly passed by as drips of sweat trickled down my forehead. I flicked the collar of my shirt, as finally the black, sleek limo rolled through, coming to a stop, as the limo driver got out, opening the door. I looked at the driver, as he was about to close the door.
"Do he pay you enough to do this shit ....?" I asked the driver.
He looked at me, stalling slightly before closing the door, and getting in. The limo pulled off as I let out a deep sigh. The whole limo was covered with crushed red velvet insiding.
What a fucking bama' ... No style at all ....

3:32 pm
It was fifthteen minutes before three o'clock. I was pretty much under the role of "pressure", as I delayed myself a couple of minutes, gathering myself together, before grasping onto the handle of the suitcase. The door had opened, as my left foot exited out the limo, followed by the right, leading to me to finally standing up. I looked around, as I adjusted the brim on my cap, as the suitcase laid against the right seam line of my pant leg.
Walking slowly but steady to the half point of the alley, I thought of the possibilities that could happen within this exchange. Gunfire? Normalcy? It was all too much to figure out. The first time I had did this, it wasn't much, but still was a cause of scare.
"Ahhh .... you must be the little peasant doing the dirty work for Mr. Baxter"
I slightly nodded, shrugging my shoulders, as I held out the suitcase in front of me.
"Well boys, seems like Baxter is still the same little bitch he still is. I thought by now he'd atleast could do his own services ..." he said as chuckled lightly, walking towards me, as the "click-clack" echoed from underneath his black dress shoes.
I looked around myself, as the corners filled with the guy's "henchmen", as they stood with their hands in front of them, slightly cracking their next, by moving them left and right. I kept my eyes open, not daring to blink as the guy had stepped up to me, staring directly at me.
[Snap, Snap]
Snap of his fingers were heard, as one of the henchmen stepped forward, handing his "boss" the suitcase. The usual bad guy, the longish gold hair, the Armani suit, and the chewing of Speariment's gum. I just looked at him, smirking at him, as I handed him along the suitcase, as he handed me his.
"You know ... how 'buff' you are, you should be able to take ol' little Baxter. Trust me ... he's nothing ...." he said.
He took the suitcase, as he walked over to the trunk of the limo. Flipping both latches, he opened it as a bright smile gleamed across his face, as he clapped.
"Right On! I'm gonna have some funnnnn tonight ...!" he said, parlaying in ecstatic voice.
I decided to check mines as well, as he brought out a mini-pocket knife, before cutting a slit into the package of heroin, inserting his left pinky into it, digging up only enough to taste. While he did that, I took score of the pocketed cash that was in the brief case.
"Well what do ya know ...."
He withdrew his pinky from his mouth, as he slightly nodded. A few seconds bypassed, as all of a sudden ....
"You screwed me over ..."
He withdrew his gun from the inside of his jacket pocket as so did the rest. I quickly ducked and ran, trying to escape the hellfire that popped off from each gun.
"SHIT!"
One of the shots caught me in the left shoulder, as I quickly began to trip over myself onto the ground. I didn't stop, I couldn't stop. I struggled getting up, as I quickly made a quick left cut on the other side of the brick wall, sitting beside a stacked set of milk crates, as I took deep breathes, trying to catch a breathe, and noticing that Baxter had not only screwed me and the buyer, but also was a dead man.
".... That Motherfucker ...."
I held my right hand over the wound, as I quickly scooted off once again, as I knew they were soon picking up on my path. I had to find a place quick, or else ....
