Blown
I've been waiting on this my whole life
These dreams be waking me up at night
[ :| It was nothing more except just another day. A lit cigarette, a bad temper, a bottle of Hennessey with Coca-Cola, stressing over the “rough” week of mayhem. More so at the lost that would’ve led to a great opportunity. Well it was more of a deja-vu, because now he was going up against the reigning Adrenaline Champ, Sarah Punche. A future shot? Another opportunity? What would a win lead Juan to? |: ]
Juan Ramirez: Maybe I should just fuckin’ go and just leave without notice.
[ :| Pouring myself another mix, a little bit of Hennessey and then some Coke. I swished it around before letting some roll down my throat. I felt so fucking low. My morale. The team’s morale. That night should’ve never happened. Maybe if it was a game, I could quit and start right over. |: ]
Juan Ramirez: Just fucking leave and never ever comeback …
[ :| The thought kept reappearing in and out like a blinking image. I continued to shake my head, just wanting to say five words and all would solve itself out… |: ]
I.Dont.Give.A.Fuck
[ :| Choosing to do that would only lead to career suicide. I’ve been through worse shit than this. I could bounce back but my time is limited. I’m working on a fucking deadline, and things weren’t looking up for me at this time. I took another swallow from the glass, as I just laid there, staring at the ceiling with no reason at all. Dazed and confused. Confused and not amused. Not amused and so on … It was bad timing. |: ]
[ Knock.Knock ]
[ :| Hearing the unexpected knock at the door, Juan tried to sit up, but ended slipping off onto the floor, almost hitting his head on the glass table. The knock continued to echo throughout the apartment, as Juan got up to his feet moments later. Regaining his balance he walked over towards the door. |: ]
Juan Ramirez: Who is it?
Voice: It’s me man, Chase’ …
Juan Ramirez: I don’t know no damn Chase’ …
Chase’: Fool, open up the damn door, homie.
[ :| I opened the door, a little pissed, a little bothered. I stood to the side, as he came in and immediately saw the bottle of Hennessey and Coke with the pack of cigarettes and the mood in the air. Chase looked back at me as he just lowered his head. |: ]
Chase’: That loss must’ve put you in one hell of a hole.
[ :| I leaned against the wall, as I grabbed for the burning cigarette, before sticking it in my mouth, taking several more puffs from it. I then exhaled the smoke, as I seemingly ignored the comment. |: ]
Chase’: Dude, you’ve taken worst hits then that screw-up last week. I know it was a night destined to be yours but hey man, we all fall down several times. Can’t expect everything to go the right way. Just gotta’ keep trying.
Juan Ramirez: Yeah, I know. Its two weeks though man, two chances at golden opportunities. Here’s yet another week. I know someone got faith in my black ass, but … but, it’s just some crazy shit. Something’s taking the best out of me.
Juan Ramirez: I just want fucking gold, man …. I’ve never failed when striking towards gold. You know that your damn self. If I don’t win this week, I’m gonna kill my own damn self out of stupidity to losing to a fucking lesbo’.
[ :| Chase’ let out a dying laugh, as Juan couldn’t help but laugh as well. He wiped his forehead, taking another puff from the cigarette. |: ]
Juan Ramirez: I’m so serious, son’ … if I lose, I’m gonna kiss my own ass good-bye. That’s how much this fucking match means.
Chase’: Damn J’ … when you make statements like that, shit makes me cringe. SCW needs all the entertainment they can take. You’re the All-Star. Can’t let them fuckers take your spirit down. Kick ass. Come home with some gold.
[ :| Juan paced around as he laid the cigarette back in the tray. He brushed his hand across his head. Walking towards his jacket, he grabbed it, slipping it on. |: ]
Chase’: Where in the hell you’re going?
Juan Ramirez: An old friend. Oh, don’t think I’ll forgive you for fucking me over last week not showing up and shit.
Chase’: I told you it was my bad, homie. Shit got in the way …
Juan Ramirez: Yeah Yeah, whatever … I’ll be back later.
[ :| Leaving out, I closed the door, as I was on my way to make ends meet. Last week, something hit me and made me realize. I couldn’t dare leave it alone. |: ]

See what I want so much, shit never hurt this bad
Never did this before, that's what the virgin says
We've been generally warned, that's what the surgeon says
God talk to me now, this is an emergency
And my nigga said I shouldn't let it worry me
I need to focus on the girls we getting currently
But I been thinking and it got me back to sinking and
This relationship it even got me back to drinking all this Hennessy
It's gonna be the death of me
Juan Ramirez: Let’s see if I can get through …
[ :| Walking towards the door, I was nervous as a shaken rag doll. I stood on the step, knocking on the door before awaiting an “answer”. Several seconds passed. No answer. I knocked again, slightly harder. Awaiting an answer. |: ]
Juan Ramirez: Damn, no one home … I guess …
[ :| I stepped down a few steps before looking down the street. Adjusting my cap to an angle, I sat on the steps, deciding to wait for her to comeback. |: ]
Juan Ramirez: I’ll be right here …

The time to talk is up
So bring the heat, that time is over
While you running your mouth I'm creeping up over your shoulder
A gun, a knife, a bat, a brick, anything I can get my hands on
Call my bluff, start acting up, and I'll leave you underground
Your Time’s Up, Sarah
You see, I’ve taken two consecutive losses in the past two weeks. Each by a whiff of luck. Lucky Charms was what they’ve been crunching down on, Sarah. Now I know you’re the so-called “Adrenaline Champion”. You had luck on your hands last week as well. Now you’re parading around like you got ants in your pants non-stop.
Let me make a pathway for a clearer outlook.
You’re facing a dangerous, unique, yet an underdog in SCW. Go ahead, I dare you to make a stupid senseless joke about my two losses and shit. What difference is it going to make. They were on luck, you were as well. That is until now.
You’re gonna make a faulty mistake soon.
You’re on high praise, the defending champ. Still a top number on the main food chain. I sense fear in your eyes when you heard the match announcements, and found out you were to face me, non-title. Oh don’t gloat dear, gloating is bad. Gloating leads to death. You gloat, you die. Simple? If not, then you’re dumber than what I expected.
I’m seriously looking forward to this duel? Why am I saying that? Why am I being so “polite”? Soon enough, Sarah …. Soon enough. You’re on such a steady roll, but everyone that has faced me, they’ve had a hard time. You’ll have a hard time. Being in the mood I’m in, I can easily stomp on your cheap breasts, and stick my shoes up the whole ten yards and show just how fucking angry I am.
Even with boiling thoughts, I stay cool.
Few more days until the bell sounds, then I can begin my 2-step in the ring. Bringing the pain to you, live and direct. You know they say pressure bust pipes, and well … I’m going to see if I can pop that cap right off with a good amouth of pressure.
Thinkin’ dirty aren’t you?
Well hate to disappoint you Sarah, but come Breakdown, you’ll be the one left star struck, as all you have in memoir is a black mark on your face, giving you that “Aspirin-needing” head-ache. Be ready to get your lights punched out, darling.
