One chokeslam to Melina Perez, one satisfying chokeslam to Shantelle Taylor and her two opponents were down. On Fusion Friday Night, Sara Calaway had reigned supreme over her two opponents Melina Perez and Shantelle Taylor, two of the top competitors in the diva division. But on Fusion Friday night in front of the world and in front of the WiW audience that was in attendance that evening Sara Calaway had the pleasure of pinning women, one former Woman’s Champion and the other a possible candidate for one. The victory this time had been in her favor and she watched as the two women once again became alive and managed to roll out of the ring moments later. But Sara wasn’t finished with one of the women, a woman in which she had experienced quite a few matches with and quite a few standoffs. Sara at that moment just enjoyed being able to smile in another victory, she was just happy that she was able to say that she was the one in control, who had the most recent last laugh. She had been conjuring up the plan for quite some time, she knew how much Taylor wanted another match, she knew how much Shantelle wanted another chance at gold, but Sara wanted it to be the last opportunity, the last chance and the match in which she selected was the perfect choice. Hell in a cell.
She had smiled confidently down at Taylor as she slowly backed up the entrance ramp, just like she personally had done so many times before. As soon as she had finished her announcement she dropped her microphone and approached the ropes, as if they were the only things restraining her from going after Shantelle again, even if she didn’t have any intention of going towards the woman, this time. Sara smiled as the camera cut away from her causing her to give her attention to the crowd for a few moments before leaving after her opponents had disappeared behind the curtain. So it was set in stone and set on the card for the pay per view. Sara Calaway vs. Shantelle Taylor in a Hell in A Cell Match…had she lost her mind?
The scene slowly opens to back parking lot of Fusion, a crowd of people clustered around the gates that had been put up to keep the Fusion superstars away from the mobs of fans that came after every show. They had been treated to an enjoyable evening of matches that were up to par in their regards and they were bustling about ready to get a glimpse of any superstar that came out of the back door. Sara Calaway was eager to get to the hotel for a night of relaxation without worry. A lot of days she was constantly speaking with her husband, talking about her worries of how she was losing it, how perhaps she wasn’t as capable of being WIW champion as she originally thought. But today, instead she was leaving the arena with a smile of her face, and with a good attitude and mind set. She exited the arena in search of her rental car, her eyes darting from left to right in the parking lot as she looked down at the small piece of paper that held the description. She turned to one of the familiar security men who appeared to be in charge of getting all the superstars in their cars and out to their hotels. Sara walked over to him and tapped on his shoulder, scaring him a tad.
Sara:
Hey Tom.The man turned slightly around with a look of worry and a frantic notion in his eyes. In other words, it didn’t appear like he had been having a pretty good night at all, and instead a stressful one. The fans around kept screaming at Sara for her to come by and she looked at them quickly, giving a slight wave to leave them content before she went over to sign a few autographs.
Tom\\Not Having A Good Night//:
Hey Sara, look it’s been a pretty rough night, what can I help you with hun?Sara: I can’t find our limo.
He gave a look of confusion before holding his clipboard closer and bringing out a small flashlight to run over it to look.
Tom\\Not Having A Good Night//:
Hmm…I don’t think it has made it yet Sara, just wait it out and it should be here.Sara nodded in response and looked to see her husband coming out, searching for the limo too. She hurried over to him.
Sara:
It’s not here yet…The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Figures…Sara:
I’m going to go sign some autographs though…He nodded and dropped his bags to join her, a rare autograph signing for The Undertaker himself was about to take place. Sara smiled as the fans screamed louder for them to come over and she went over to what she felt was the loudest group of fans and grabbed their pens and anything they wanted to be signed put in her face.
Fan 1\\Obsessed//: Oh my god I love you so much, oh my god, oh my god, the woman’s champion oh my god.
Sara put out her hand to shake the fan’s hand and smiled brightly as she did so.
Sara:
How are you doin’?The fan nodded as in means of saying good and Sara quickly took a picture with the fan.
Fan 1\\Obsessed//: Oh my god…LOOK!
Sara turned around slightly to see Shantelle Taylor coming out of the back of the arena, a look of slight irritation on her face as she saw Sara signing autographs at the gates. She rolled her eyes as she looked for her limousine and before a few minutes she too was strolling over to Tom with a look of irritation on her face. She was nearly having a fit as she instead of moving over to the fans leaned against the wall of the building, mostly because Sara and her husband were standing there. Tom kept scrambling back and forth in the parking lot, getting people to the appropriate limousines and sending them off. Sara was extremely drained and as time went on minute by minute she could feel herself getting more and more tired. Before long, it was roughly one in the morning and the last batch of fans were coming and getting their autographs from Sara and her husband. It wasn’t that she hadn’t enjoyed the sudden unexpected meet and greet with a majority of the audience of Fusion that evening it had been more of the fact that she had been expected sleeping in her bed by now. Tom was tired too, and he hadn’t gotten off his cell phone in hours, Shantelle hadn’t moved for at least an hour and a half and Sara didn’t dare to approach her. She stayed on the other side of the parking lot, even if it meant leaving her bags near Shantelle.
Tom\\Not Having A Good Night//:
I apologize Mr. Calaway, the limo service…The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Not a problem Tom, we just want to get to the hotel…it’s too far of a walk to get there this late. We’ll wait… Tom\\Not Having A Good Night//:
Taker nodded and turned to Sara who was leaning against the gate of the parking lot and Taker encouraged her to go pick up her bags.
Sara: I’m not going over there while she is…
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Looks like she’s going to be leaving when we are…Sara:
In the same car? NO!He smirked slightly and Sara only pouted in defiance.
Sara:
But I don’t want to…The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Get over it…so you’re telling me I have to go over there and get all of your bags and bring them over here…Sara smiled innocently in hope and he sighs loudly before walking over towards Shantelle, vacantly sitting next to their luggage. She looked up to hear his footsteps approaching and getting louder by the moment and she looked up to see his approaching her, rather than the bags. She gave a slight gasp as he bent down and she brought a hard slap to his face. He closed his eyes slightly, not expecting it and only regaining his full height but straightening out his back.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
I was getting…our bags. She gave a slightly embarrassed look before he picked them up and walked back over to where Sara was, tears falling out of her eyes in her laughter.
Sara:
That was interesting…He gave her a look showing how he wasn’t enthused of the statement and crossed his arms in waiting of the limo. Before long it pulled up in the parking lot and due to the cups and cups of coffee that had been devoured by Tom he hurried over and put all of their bags in the drunk.
Tom\\Not Having A Good Night//:
Sara nodded and hugged him slightly in thanks and moved into the limousine followed by her husband. Shantelle was already inside and had been the first to get in, moving as close as possible to the front of the limousine to get out of even the most possible eyesight of Sara or her husband. Sara didn’t want to particularly look at the woman either and did her best to climb in and situate herself comfortably without taking notice to her opponent that would be challenging for her world title in mere days. But either way, the woman’s champion managed to situated herself and let her husband get in. Before long, the limousine was pulling down the road, forcing to bring their waiting time to an end.
Shantelle had a hood situated perfectly over her head, casting a shadow over her eyes to hide the fact if she possibly took quick glances in the direction of her opponent. But one thing was for certain Sara’s husband didn’t have a hood on, or a shadow to cover his glares; his eyes were directly fixated on the figure of Shantelle’s, seemingly motionless on the other side of the limo. He cleared his throat lightly and moved his eyes down to Sara who wasn’t looking in Taylor’s direction either.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
So you’re going to be fighting Sara for her championship? His voice cut through the air like a knife and Sara herself gave a small silent squeal in surprise to hear her husband’s voice sound, not only sound, but to obtain communication from Shantelle Taylor? Shantelle didn’t respond at all but instead only gave an unamused look in the direction of the phenom who only gave an even colder stare and frown back.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Like my wife said on Fusion, I made that cell famous.Shantelle Taylor \\The Supposed Future//: That means nothing, she’s never been in one.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
I wasn’t trying to say that she’ll beat you…Sara gave a threatening look in the direction of her husband and he gave her a gentle smirk before sliding a bit to the right to get out of her reach.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Even if she is a fighting champion and has earned her name as champion. I’m just warning you, it was like it was meant for all three of us to be in this limo. The cell, as far as I’m aware, hasn’t been performed in with female superstars. I don’t even think I like the idea…Sara: I can handle it…
Shantelle Taylor \\The Supposed Future//:
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
I didn’t say you couldn’t…I personally don’t like the idea, because it changed me…what’s it going to do to you two?The limo was silent for a few moments other than the beating of the tires rolling on the pavement just outside the doors. No voice was heard and a small smile curved on his face.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
From Mic Foley being thrown off a cell, to being thrown through it, thumb tacks, Shawn Michaels being tossed off the side, and so many more. I know what’s it’s like be encaged in four walls and your only hope of getting out is to destroy your opponent senseless. He paused for a minute to look out the window and then return his gaze to the two women.
The Undertaker\\This Is My Yard//:
Just thought you’d like the heads up.Both women gave him a look of worry before the car brakes were slammed on and all three figures moved forward. All three gave slight screams or gasps in Taker’s case. Sara fell to the car floor and her husband soon fell on top of her. Within a few moments the limo was a standstill and Taker pulled himself up on the seat again. He tried to look out the window to see but due to the fact it was so dark it wasn’t manageable. He opened one of the door and stepped outside to see the front of the limo slammed into the side of another car. Sara climbed out soon after her husband…
Sara: This night just can’t get any better…
The scene slowly opens to the view of a busy city street, lights shining all around with a pitch black sky high above the city, the stars completely invisible due to the many lights that flooded the city roads, specifically of Austin Texas. Sara Calaway had needed some relaxation, just like she had needed not long ago in the night she had got stranded in a limousine with none other than Shantelle Taylor. Thankfully by morning after police reports that weren’t necessary because no person inside the limousine had seen anything anyway, all three WiW superstars had made it back to the desired hotel and had had enough reasonable sleep before heading home in their own planes.
Sara had at that point made it home only to spend a day with her husband and to gave him shipped off for a signing or other. It didn’t matter to her, when they had been on separate shows she had even less time with him, she now left with him, arrived to the arena with him, had the same room in the hotel, it was good to actually get some time away! But no matter of course, she now was on her own on the road of the city streets in Austin. With their house being just beyond the outskirts she went into the city enough to know her way around without her husband being down her neck, specially the way to get to a bar that she and him had had a fun time in before.
She could see the biker bar right up in the distance and could hear it even farther away. She smirked, remembering the last time she went in which was with her husband, before she won the title, before she really made it big at all in the WiW. But she was expecting the same good time she had before and she rolled up on her motorcycle into the parking lot, already receiving a few looks from the heavily populated bar parking lot. She took her leg voer the motorbike and stood glaring at the lot for a few seconds, dressed in nothing more than casual wear of jeans and a sleeveless shirt, they were hot days in Texas even in the evenings there was a sticky and muggy feeling in the air that couldn’t be ignored if one didn’t dress properly. She walked into the bar, her ears picking up on the already pounding music that she happened to enjoy and she moved into the bar eyes swerving around each little detail that was in the atmosphere the moment she walked in. Being the somewhat skinny woman she was she didn’t take much notice in the room with swarms of smoke clouds attacking her in all directions. She coughed slightly as she made her way to one of the tables ahead, sitting down on one of the stools and smiling to the bartender who recognized her almost immediately. He was a good friend of her husband’s and he put out his hand in greeting. He was a relatively young man, with short hair buzzed on the sides and perfected teeth glistened in the light that shone down from above.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: How you doin’ Sara?
She shook his hand proudly and smiled.
Sara: Very well man, have you been watching the show?
He shook his head no in an upset fashion.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Not in months, why…what’s Mark been up to on tv? I haven’t see him in forever either when I think of it…
Sara smirked slightly.
Sara: Not Mark, me! I’m on Fusion, woman’s champion.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Really? God that’s incredible. WiW Women’s Champion?
He paused for a moment and walked over to the small microphone that was on the bar and brought it to his lips.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Everybody, you wouldn’t guess who we have the pleasure of accompanying us this evening!
His voice rang through the speakers and Sara gave an amused yet slightly embarrassed smirk as Joe continued.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: The WiW Woman’s Champion…Sara CALAWAY!
A majority of the crowd let out several cheers, however some just glanced at her not having a clue as to who she was. She waved at a few people who did the same and she leaned on the table towards Joe.
Sara: I can’t believe you did that!
He laughed slightly and turned quickly to see quickly approaching his boss from the back. His stomach bulged over his pants, and surprisingly through the times she had been here Sara had truly never seen the owner at all.
Boss\\Lazy With A Big Attitude//: Who did you say was here?
He poked Joe in the chest, and Sara couldn’t tell for sure if he was messing around or not. Without question, wanting to show of Sara to the world in his pride for her accomplishments he pointed Sara out and put a hand on her shoulder from across the bar.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Right here sir, the WiW Woman’s Champion, SARA CALAWAY!
Joe’s boss tilted his head slightly in the direction of Sara and gave a loud grunt.
Boss\\Lazy With A Big Attitude//: I give ya three secon’s to get out of here!
Sara gave a confused look as he pointed towards the door.
Sara: Sir, I’ve come here for years!
Boss\\Lazy With A Big Attitude//: Like I care…me niece is goin to give ya an ass whoopin and I’m not going to let you sit here in my bar!
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: You can’t do that! Sara’s fine sir, she’s-
Boss\\Lazy With A Big Attitude//: My niece’s opponent! I’m not going to stand for it none either !
Out before I make you! SECURITY!Within a few moments two bouncers at least the size of her own husband were on either side of her, grabbing her arms and tightening.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Hey get off of her, she’ll get out on her own!
Security Guard\\Power Hungry//: Come on CHAMP!
Sara grunted loudly but let them take her out, rudely they gently threw her out the door, forcing her to land on the cement outside on the sidewalk. It had surprised her slightly and she landed on her exposed knees due to her wearing shorts. She winced slightly and moved to her side, leaving the two guards above her laughing.
Security Guard\\Power Hungry//: Oh that didn’t hurt did it? If you can’t handle that you’re not gonna handle Taylor in the cell!
Security Guard\\Too Buff To Be Real//: Ya…what he said…
Security Guard\\Power Hungry//: Yea, yea even with your husband to help ya out…you’re not gonna…no way..you don’t have the passion you had…I’ve watched ya…
Security Guard\\Too Buff To Be Real//: Yea…watched ya…
Security Guard\\Power Hungry//: Shantelle will be the next champ, rule the locker room…yea NO DOUBT!
Sara shook her head, fury in her eyes and all three of them looked to hear someone coming from the side of the building, soon revealing himself to be Joe kneeling down to her, in shock to see her on the ground at all, bloodied knees at that.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Sara…Sara are you okay?
She looked up at him and smiled gently, bringing herself to her feet and looking straight into the two men who obviously had huge egos just by their words and just how they had presented themselves to her. She didn’t like them at all, and to think the bar she had gone to since she moved here from California due to her marriage was owned by someone related to who was attempting to take her title after she made it big in the WiW. But it didn’t matter to her…
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: You guys get back in there…you don’t have any more business out here!
Security Guard\\Power Hungry//: Hey you wanna start somethin’?
Security Guard\\Too Buff To Be Real//: YEA!!!!! Start somethin’?
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: YEA I WOULD!
Sara: Stop! Come on Joe, you need to get back to work…
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: I quit…I don’t need to be working for this trash.
The two guards nodded and reluctantly crept back into the bar, leaving the two out in the parking lot.
Sara: Thanks Joe, you’re a real friend you know that?
He shrugged his shoulders.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Someone’s gotta look out for ya when you’re husband ain’t around….you stood your ground against my boss though, you’re tough hun.
She smirked and hugged him slightly in thanks before turning around and heading towards her motorcycle.
Sara: Everything seems to go wrong when I attempt to relax.
He quickly hurried after her, walking her to her motorcycle.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Well what do you mean?
Sara: I wanted to go back to the hotel when I was on the road and relax, but the limousine never came and I ended up spending the rest of the night with my opponent for my title at the Pay Per View…and now I wanted to head into this place, a place where I’ve gone for years and now I can’t even come back here again because Shantelle’s family name’s here.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Yea…what kind of match are you putting your title up for?
Sara smirked coyly and sat on her motorcycle, revving it up slightly and pulling on her helmet, something she wore and her husband didn’t, at least on the road.
Sara: Hell In A Cell…
She flashed the headlight beam on and it brightly shined in his face causing him to cringe slightly.
Sara: Do you need a ride home?
Joe shook his head no, with a slight look of surprise still on his face.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: A Hell In A Cell…are you sure that’s safe…I mean…
Sara: I was the one that set the match.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Are you crazy?
Sara: Well if I wasn’t nothing I tried would work…I pursued a career in which my husband is legendary in, in desire of the WiW Woman’s Championship and to earn a name in this company…and I did…just that.
Joe was silent for a few moments more and Sara gently pushed the motorcycle forward with her feet.
Sara: I’ll see you around Joe, and hey, remember to watch it okay?
He nodded and put a hand on her shoulder.
Joe\\Good Family Friend//: Are you sure you sure you want to go through with this cage match?
Sara smirked slightly and ran a hand through her hair before turning off the motorcycle and looking up to Joe, someone she had known for a long time.
Sara: Joe…I’ve fought this woman before…it’s not the first time, and I wouldn’t have challenged her to it, if I wasn’t comfortable with it. I am comfortable with it, and I’m ready for it. Actually Joe…I’m looking forward to it…
He cocked a single eyebrow and Sara laughed in response to it.
Sara: Don’t worry…I know what I’m doing…
With that Sara lit up the engine again and left the parking lot one last time, honking slightly to Joe as she rolled out once again on the main road, roaring into the traffic and ready to roar into the Pay Per View known as Boiling Point 2007.
