The ever so talented upcoming diva known as Trinity had made her first attempt last week on Fusion. She had made her first attempt in pinning the Woman’s Champion Sara Calaway and hadn’t been successful. In fact, like Sara had promised herself, and her very own mother who she had the pleasure of spending time with on The Fourth of July which hadn’t turned out so horribly after all. Despite the weather conditions that had been put forth on her and the limitation it caused it had been a good time to spend with her family, especially her mother who had a limited time left to share for her daughter in the future. But like Sara, her mother was strong and Sara was sure there were still plenty of good times to be had in the future with her mother. But after her most recent victory against Trinity on Fusion, Sara has been reminded of surely one of her most difficult challenges flaunting her colors in the distance. Lana Starr Mcmahon has once again revived herself from the shadows and it guaranteeing her success for the future and her success as Woman’s Champion. That success would be gained by overcoming her, Sara Calaway, and Sara surely wasn’t’ going to be standing for it, surely she wouldn’t be letting Lana step all over her and she sure as hell wasn’t afraid of the woman in which claimed to make one hundred percent of the current Woman’s Champion which for sure wasn’t true.
The creator insists on wanting to destroy what she created and Calaway herself will be sure to resist on such plans as she goes into battle with a familiar enemy in which she has had some in ring time before. But it had been so long ago when their eyes set on each other and their minds labeled each other as opponent. So long ago Sara had to remind herself it had been a time in which Melina Perez was Woman’s Champion and it was Sara who was trying to prove herself in the WiW for the very first few times. But now WiW Woman’s gold is no longer on the shoulder of Melina Perez and instead is around the waist of none other than Sara Calaway. Two divas will once again take the stage and put on a hell of a performance, this one being even better since Sara herself has gained a few in ring skills. Melina Perez versus Sara Calaway…Friday Night Fusion.
The scene slowly opens to the bustling backstage of Friday Night Fusion. A night in which Sara had fought a woman named Trinity and had been victorious. It was precisely in the current moment in time, July 6, 2007 and she was pretty beat. Her match hadn’t been anything spectacular; it had been enough to get her opponent beat which was what she always wanted to do. Trinity had fallen to Sara Calaway and Sara was more than willing to make it happen again. She had respect for the woman the entire match, even beforehand she had had some respect for the newcomer but it was afterward which had triggered Sara’s sudden lack of respect. It had been afterward at a time in which Sara had glared at her future opponent of Lana Starr Mcmahon. It had been a time where she had been in the zone of concentration, concentrating on Lana, concentrating on future fights, trying to get a feel of anything that in the future may help her against the inevitable, her first time in the ring with Lana Starr Mcmahon. As she had had such a stare down she hadn’t felt the pair of eyes scanning in the back of her skull from the opponent in which she had just crushed, Trinity. She had snuck back into the ring, so soundly, so quietly. She hadn’t heard any of the fans who had tried to warn her from the side lines, and she hadn’t heard her opponent slowly sneaking up from behind her. But Lana Starr Mcmahon had seen it all and had taken out the approaching threat. It had come and gone line a blue, Sara, thinking the attack had been on her had tossed her title belt on the ground in attempt to avoid the oncoming attack and prepare to make a reveal move. But as the sailing kick had landed on someone else and not herself, Sara had turned around to see Trinity hit the mat. Lana Starr Mcmahon could have easily taken down Sara at that moment in which she had looked down to Trinity in her shock that another person was there, but she didn’t and instead rolled out of the ring and approached the exit…the obvious number one contender for the Woman’s Championship. Sara had picked up her belt and had approached the ropes, a look of sincere irritation glistening at the surface of her eyes that could still be felt at their core. She could feel her anger bubbling at the surface and she only shook her head and smirked before returning her attention to the crowd and posing for pictures to let Lana head to the back before she did.
But the scene and placement in which we find our beloved WiW Woman’s Champion is backstage at Fusion. She slowly returns from the arena area with her belt in hand, stretching slightly as she walks and squinting her eyes slightly from a minor headache that she had managed to gain from being out in the arena. She rubs her eyes slightly and leaps up on one of the cargo equipment, once again seemingly waiting for someone. As she waits she twiddles with her thumbs carelessly and leans her back against the wall, her eyes searching the crowd, specifically focused on the entrance from the arena. Before long she sees who she wants to see, her recent opponent Trinity coming into the back, not only suffering a defeat but also having her own plot failing in taking Sara from behind. Without anything holding her back Sara jumped from her position on the crate and crabbed her opponent’s shirt and in an aggressive manner pushed her against the wall.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Trinity…I don’t get why you made the decision you did…trying to blind side me like that.
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: You did the same…
She pushed Sara back, catching the Woman’s Champion off guard at first, causing her stare at her.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: What are you talking about…and get back here!
The gorilla position, the entrance to the arena and the fans crowded around it was strangely silent at that moment as Sara and Trinity made their way down the hallway…nearly screaming at the top of their lungs. Sara was clearly upset about Lana Mcmahon and wouldn’t say such facts of course, while Trinity was more upset that her efforts didn’t work at all period, nothing had worked. Her match hadn’t turned out the way she had wished, her strike at the end had only resulted in her own humiliation as well. It hadn’t been a good night for Trinity, but Sara was determined to get her point across.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: I had respect for you, you know that? I didn’t get into your head like I COULD HAVE! You would have lost that match even worse!
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: Whatever CHAMP, just leave me alone!
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: SERIOUSLY…TRINITY!
Sara stopped her chasing and stopped dead center in the hallway.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: You have a future, you just fell victim to Lana! You made a stupid choice!
Trinity stopped in the hallway after such a sentence was completed and she turned around to face Calaway.
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: I didn’t fall victim to Lana, she just hit me I didn’t see it coming…
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: No you fell to her, you listened to her! When she talked to you on Fusion, when she got inside your head. You had to prove yourself to be something, and you didn’t because people saw that you put up a fight against me and it was enough. You just made yourself look stupid going after me and getting nailed in the face.
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: I put up a good fight against you?
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: It was a good effort Trinity, and hell for your first match against me I’d say it was more than good. But you’re going down the wrong path if you’re going to be blindsiding people from behind.
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: Well you did it…and with chairs no doubt…
Sara paused slightly confused, approaching Trinity slightly and then nodded as a small lightbulb went off in her head.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: That was a long time ago Trinity, I was starting to get my name out there too. Made an impact…
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: Yea so was I!
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: I guess it’s different from the other side of the glass.
Sara paused for a moment; Sara had gotten her name out there by helping out Lana, by taking out anyone she was having a problem with and that’s how people first got to know her.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: I still think it was a poor decision…
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: Because you were the one I was going after…DUH!
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Yea, because I’m the Woman’s Champion, I demand respect from you Trinity. I demand respect from you because you’re the new one in the locker room and I see potential out of you. Disrespect isn’t going to get you anywhere especially from people like me who can help you!
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: Help me?
Sara nodded slowly and moved a bit closer, so the two no longer were centuries away from each other.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: I can help you in the ring before shows, help you out technique wise…little things like that will get you big places.
Trinity shrugged and rolled her eyes slightly.
Trinity\\Another Defeated//: How can I trust you?
Sara leaned on one hip and shook her head.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: It should be me who’s questioning you. It should be me, who’s not trusting you…now what do you say?
Trinity nodded slightly and she gently shook hands with Sara before Sara smiled and put a hand on her shoulder.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: You’ll be okay.
With that Trinity nodded and turned around, knocking right into the chest of a huge man, far above her own height. Trinity froze slightly and looked up to see The Undertaker staring down at her, smirking slightly to see the reaction on her face.
The Undertaker\\This Is His Yard//: You almost ready to go to the hotel hun? I’m tired.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Do I look ready? I think not.
He shrugged slightly and looked down at Trinity who still hadn’t moved.
The Undertaker\\This Is His Yard//: I could hear both of yall from around the corner. Women are loud….You tried to blindside my wife tonight didn’t you?
Trinity sighed heavily and Sara smiled, retrieving her belt where she had left it on the cart a few feet away.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: See Trinity? That’s what people see you as now…
She nodded slightly and walked away, not saying a word to the legend in front of her.
The Undertaker\\This Is His Yard//: What’s her problem?
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Nothing just go…
With that the scene slowly fades to husband and wife headed down the hallway the scene cutting to complete and utter darkness in wishes of seeing our beloved hero again.
S C E N E T W O- We’ve Had A History
The blackness of the screen in which a person would be watching slowly begins to peel away as more and more light seeps into the picture displayed. The abrupt sounds coming from an unknown wielder are loud and struggling as if they can go no farther in what they’re trying to accomplish. But they’re going strong, they’re going proud and they’re going until they can no longer physically do so. The camera slowly reveals more and more until finally the setting is set, as a small gym in which no more than ten people could physically fit in at the same time, let alone work out in at the same time. Our hero, the center of this story, Sara Calaway is situated on one of the work out pieces toning and pumping all of her effort as she possibly could at the time. Her eyes as glazed over as if she is in another world as her body does the deeds in which need to be accomplished to keep herself in the most absolutely fit manner. Her breaths are laborious as she takes her last rep she can possibly take and nearly collapses on the floor. She takes in many breaths before raising to her feet and wiping her head with a towel that ever so vacantly waits ahead of her.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: I’m not working out like this for any reason other than to keep my body fit…so I can fight to keep my title…no one will take it.
She slowly tilted her head in the direction of the camera, smiling pleasantly to reach out to whoever may be watching but not truly caring due to the fact that she had a message to give.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Lately, Lana Starr Mcmahon has been dishing out a lot of shit. A lot of shit about how she created one hundred percent of Sara Calaway. Lana you didn’t CREATE anything. All you did was give me the chance to get noticed. I did what I did because of ME and I know that now more than before. I know that because a little chat I had with Trinity, of her actions because of you provoking her, getting into her head, making her prove herself when you were just setting her up the whole time. Lana you were never there spoon feeding me, or helping me to walk in this business, you put in the matches and I did you damn dirty work for you. Hell, I even got in the ring with one of the biggest bitches to ever walk the face of the planet, whoever the hell that was. Lauren Jones? Something, but it doesn’t matter. After you gave me the chance Lana the fans accepted me. Lana you did not put my title belt on my shoulder. I put my own title belt on my shoulder with sweat, hard work, discipline and dedication. It was matches against Trish Stratus, Melina Perez, Shantelle Taylor and others that made me where I am right now.
Sara shook her head from left to right and dabbed her towel on her face once again.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: But Lana isn’t my problem. I don’t care what she has to say because in reality she hasn’t put a finger on me yet. She has said some things that I don’t agree with and has attempted to intimidate me, but other than that, she hasn’t asked for a match and I could easily say she doesn’t have the guts to do it. But I won’t because I’ll be waiting for her while I worry about current issues. Melina Perez is one of them. Hell of an athlete and Melina, the last time that we butted heads it was when you were holding the Woman’s Championship and while I was still getting my name in this business. Hell that was a long time ago. But we’re going to be doing it again, this time we’re going to be getting into the ring and this time I’m the one that’s going to be wearing gold to the ring, this time I’m going to be announced as the WIW WOMAN’S CHAMPION, not you. I’m no longer the rookie anymore that you think you can easily beat. I’m a champion, a great competitor, like I always was, however with just a tad more confidence and ability. We’ve had a history Melina, from times when I was a tag team with Trish Stratus and you were after her, or when I myself was trying to get my first tag team title belt with Victoria at a Pay Per View that was so long ago. You’re nothing new Melina, you know me, I know you. Just good luck to you and let the best woman win.
Sara raised her head slightly in a small nod as the camera slowly came in closer to her face.
Sara\\The Center of This Story//: Sara Calaway, the center of all stories, and Melina Perez the Hollywood diva go at it again. I promise, it won’t be for the last time either.
Sara nodded slowly and walks off screen followed by the camera fading out.
