Biography: Jake was a troubled kid growing up. He had a deep infatuation with burning ants and causing pain to inferior creatures. That weird obsession dissipated when he began to play football in middle school. Suspended from the football team several times in 7th and 8th grade for aggressively hitting defenseless players. The aggression got him a starting spot as middle linebacker his freshman and sophomore years of High School, with many accolades, such as Defensive Player of the Year for the State of Indiana, and even reaching All-American Status. By the middle of his sophomore season he was already being recruited by several top colleges including USC and Ohio State, but one final incident in the third to last game of that season ended all talk of him playing college ball (among other incidents, but this one was a big one). During a punt, Jake broke from the line of scrimmage and made it to the returner before the ball got there, and instead of stopping; blindsided him and knocking him five yards back and drawing a personal foul. The hit left the kid with four broken ribs and a cracked sternum and a concussion. After the ref threw the flag Jake picked it back up and threw it at the ref's face, drawing another penalty. He then attacked both referees and was subsequently banned from playing High School football in Indiana ever again, which, in turn ended any shot of him playing college football. He finished out his senior year in the top 10% of his class, and graduated with an Honor's Diploma. Instead of taking a full-ride scholarship to Indiana University to pursue a career as a Psychiatrist, he opted to enroll in a wrestling class. He began training daily and learning how to take the bumps and bruises that accompany the life of a professional wrestler. After 8 months of training, he was contacted by Steve Norman to wrestle in Total Extreme Wrestling Federation under the name K-Non, where, after a couple of months, he won the Extreme Championship, his first singles championship. He was ready for a World Championship match, when the promotion folded. After the folding of TEWF Jake began working the Indy circuit, but has yet to be picked up by a major promotion.
