Hannah Blackwell
- Background Information: Born to progressive, well to do, parents in Concord Mass. Hannah is the youngest of nine children. Her oldest sister Elizabeth was the first women to be awarded a medical degree in the United States, although she attended medical school in England.By comparison, Hannah had it easy. With four other siblings in active practice she had more than enough help in passing all her exams. Not that she needed it. Her brilliant mind made most of her studies easy.
Tired of the restrictions on a women's life in the East. She found herself searching the news paper adds. for positions out west. The one for Whiskey Flats seemed to be the best bet to her.
