Scene: One
The first edition of Extreme Championship Wrestling’s weekly show since it’s return is already underway and so far the fans have just seen three beautiful women fight it out in the ring in a no disqualifications triple threat match. In the arena the fans are watching the tron screen as the ECW cameras seem to be outside in the parking lot of the Kemper Arena. In the distance we see a car slowly approaching the arena. When the vehicle finally comes to a stop we see that it’s not just a car but it’s a long stretch limousine. It doesn’t take long to find out who’s inside of the limousine as the passenger door opens and out steps one of ECW’s biggest signings to date, “The Rated R Superstar” Edge. Who is shortly followed by another big signing for ECW, his “Rated R Love Goddess” Lita.
Scene: Two
The scene opens up in the ring area of the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri where the ECW cameras are panning around all the fans in attendance all excited to be at only the second show since ECW’s return. The camera then pans to the announce desk where commentators Joey Styles and Tazz are sat.
Scene: Three
A littler later into the evening the cameras are Backstage area of the Edwards Jones Dome where ECW broadcaster Steve Romero is standing by with microphone in hand.

Whoa Joey look who it is, “The Rated R Superstar” and Lita!” This is a major coo for ECW man. He was one of the WWE‘s biggest stars and he‘s now here in ECW along with one of the if not the best female wrestlers in the industry and an ECW original I might add.

Your right Tazz but he’s just one of the few big signings Paul has somehow wrangled up.

Of course Joey, but this has to be my favourite singing yet. These two heated things up on RAW like no one has ever done before. And if the got away with that on Raw imagine what they’ll do here in ECW where pretty much anything’ goes.
::: Styles :::

The fans in attendance begin booing rather loudly at the sight of them, Edge slams the passenger door shut and they takes their luggage from the driver who’s collected it from the trunk. With the driver standing beside him with his hand held out for a tip. Edge breaths in the warm night’s air and smirks to himself but the smirk doesn’t last as he notices the hand of the driver held out to him.

reaching into the back pocket of his jeans as it looks as though Edge is getting his wallet.

Instead of his wallet he takes his hand back out and he gives him the middle finger right in his face

The startled driver scarpers out of camera shot as Edge looks at at they and they both laughs and make their way towards the arena. When inside the arena Edge runs into more trouble with some pimple faced 19 year old kid who’s a part of the security team for the evening.

Sir…Sir I’m afraid I can’t just let you go through without finding out who you are and checking your belongings.

Excuse me, are you actually standing there and admitting that you don‘t know just who in the hell I am. Have you been livin’ under a rock for the past nine years or something. I’m “The Rated R Superstar” The most watched champion in WWE’s history since that beer swillin’ redneck Stone Cold.

Ohhhh…So you’re a wrestler then ?

Just then ECW founder and owner Paul Heeman walks by the security desk and Edge calls to him and he walks over with a quick pace.

Hey guys what’s goin’ on ?

What’s going on…What‘s going on is that this little turd is stopping’ us from getting into the damn building !

I’ll take care of this Edge don’t you worry. You just take your things and head to your joint dressing room I’ve set up for you
Taking their things Edge and Lita make their way in the direction of where the dressing room is leaving the young security guard alone with a rather stern looking Paul.

What the hell is a matter with you kid. Those are two of my biggest signings and you hold them back from entering the building…
Paul continues to rant and rave at the young security guard who now looks as though he ready to break down and cry, The scene fades out to the first of the show’s commercial breaks.

Welcome back everybody to a brand new ECW era. No longer are we the third rate show of World Wrestling Entertainment. We’re branching out on our own once more and I think it’s safe to say that we’re going to be bigger than ever before.

You ain‘t kiddin’ Joey, And we got a great night of matches ahead of us to kick things off in the new ECW. Including a huge main event match between an ECW original Chris Jericho and “Mr. Hollywood” himself, “The Great One”…The Rock. Now that‘s a match I‘m dying to see Joey.

I’m with you there partner, But before that we got a lot more great matches to get through. How about former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage going one on one with former WWE Champion John Cena.

Another huge match there Joey but if those matches weren’t enough to keep you in your seats how about this. Old rivals revisited when another two of ECW huge new singings square off for the fist time in ECW…“The Game” Triple H vs. “Legend Killer” Randy Orton…
Just then from over the PA System "Metalingus" by Alterbridge blasts throughout the dome interrupting Tazz, and from the backstage area out walks “The Rated R Superstar” along with girlfriend Lita to a chorus of boos from the fans.

Talking of big matches Tazz this guy right here will take part in one of those big matches when he steps into the ring and goes face to face with “The Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels. And by the look on his face he seems to be very confident in that fact.

Edge is always confident and why the hell wouldn’t he be. He’s done some pretty amazing things in that ring, and he has every reason to be confident going into that match up later on tonight.
Edge who has now entered the ring by sliding under the bottom rope, and has collected the microphone from Justin Roberts and he awaits for his music to die down before he begins to address matters.

No people your eyes do not betray you, the are at present focused upon “The Rated R Superstar” and the sultry sex pot that is Lita standing in an Extreme Championship Wrestling ring. Because as of a few weeks ago I said my goodbyes to the WWE and I singed on the dotted line in a brand new four year contract with E..C..W. And with me I brought back the sexiest women to ever step foot in the squared circle, the dangerously addictive Lita. You see I was sitting at home in Toronto when the phone began to ring, I pick it up and who’s voice do I hear on the other side of the phone…Non other than Paul E. Dangerously. And he said four little words to me those being, “I Need Your Help” and to cut a long story short. Tonight here I stand in front of all you idiots in St. Louis on a night where I‘ll step in the ring with a future member of the wrestling hall of fame. Good Ol’ HBK himself Shawn Michaels.
The fans in attendance begin to cheer uncontrollably at the mere mention of “The Heart Break Kid” to which Edge discards of his shades and looks out at the audience unimpressed before continuing to talk.

Michaels I‘ll give credit where it‘s due and in your case you absolutely deserve the ovation you receive from these moronic fans I mean you’ve done it all, from four reigns as a world champion, European champion, three reigns as Intercontinental champion, four tag championship reigns, One of only three men to win two consecutive Royal Rumble matches. He’s was the first ever Grand Slam winner, Triple Crown Champion. And fifteen years this very month you brought and competed in the very first ladder match in WWE history. Which I might add you lost, to one of my childhood idles. “The Excellence of Execution” Bret “Hitman” Hart.

Then there’s me, “The Rated R Superstar” who has just about matched accomplishment for accomplishment in this the ring with you. Three time world champion, five time Intercontinental champion, former WCW United States champion, an outstanding twelve reigns as a tag team champion, former King Of The Ring, The only two time Mr. Money in the Bank, A fellow Triple Crown Champion and the only wrestler to win all six major WWE Championships. Not only that but I tokk what you did for ladder matches in this business and I took it to newer and greater heights in eleven of the greatest ladder matches from simple ladder matches to tables, ladders and chairs to Mr. Money in The Bank matches. Just like you Shawn I’ve given everything to this business. Mind, body, and soul yet the moronic idiot we call the wrestling fans boo me right out the damn building and why ? Because everything I do I do for me and these morons don‘t like that fact and they actually believe give a damn about them. You may think that I resent you for hating me the way you do but your wrong. I'm Was the most dominant superstar in WWE history, that fact alone inspires jealousy, I understand completely. If I was as inferior as you all, I'd hate a guy like me too. Just know this, you can hate me, but you WILL respect me, whether you like it or not. With that "Metalingus" by Alterbridge plays over the PA system and Edge drops the microphone to the mat, They take their leave from the ring and head into the backstage area as the scene fades out.

Edge you’re moments away from taking on HBK in your match up tonight, but before I get to that I was hoping to get your thought on how you think the new ECW era is looking to you from what we’ve seen from tonight already ?

My thoughts, My thoughts are that since yours truly “The Rated R Superstar” signed on the dotted line of his brand new four year deal ECW contract, ECW has become the place to be. And seeing who has came along since I signed proves that fact itself. You’ve got the likes of Triple H, The Rock, John Cena, and my opponent for tonight “HBK” Shawn Michaels and that just to name a few who wouldn’t even have thought twice about ECW before I made it the place to be.

Speaking of HBK, how confident are you in your abilities of beating him tonight ?
Edge just looks at Romero in disgust after hear the question. He snatches the microphone from him, shoos him out of the camera view and hands the microphone over to Lita who continues the interview.

Now Edge you‘re minutes away from facing HBK and we all know that the outcome of the match up will be you claming the victory so the question isn‘t how confident are you in your abilities, the question is just how fast do you think you throw him into the junk heap where he belongs ?

But in all seriousness Shawn what where you thinking coming to ECW. It’s Extreme Championship Wrestling not Elderly Championship Wrestling. You actually think you’ve got what it takes to compete in ECW match at this stage in your career. You actually think Paul Heeman is going to be looking at you to carry the company he cherishes so dearly why in god’s name would he come to you a man long past his prime when he could have me, The “Rated R Superstar” the most extreme man on the active roster and the man that took hardcore legend Mick Foley to the limit like no one else ever has, All in all in a place where it takes where you have to do what ever it take to get the win I am the man to come to. You say there’s a new era for Shawn Michaels ? Who you trying to kid Michaels, Yeah there’s a new era upon us but it’s the “Rated R” era. The “extreme Rated R” era. Now I know damn well what it takes to beat you in that ring and I know damn well like you said you’re not going quite this business because of age but after tonight you might not have to quit, after tonight you may be forced to retire again once I’m through with you but unlike ninety eight unlike the Undertaker, Unlike Triple H in 2002, and unlike Randy Orton from two months ago I’ll get the job done and you won’t be coming back…EVER. So Shawn tonight before you come out to the ring tonight reconsider your decision, no one will blame you if you don’t come to the ring and fight me tonight. If not for yourself Shawn then for for your wife Rebecca, your son Cameron Kade and daughter Cheyenne Michelle who I know will be watching. Don’t make me be the man that robs them of their husband and father, just reconsider and go home Shawn…go home.
With that said "Metalingus" by Alterbridge can be heard playing over the PA system indicating that it’s time for Edge and Lita to head to the ring for the match. Edge takes the free hand of Lita as she tossed the microphone back to Romero out still out of camera view and the two make their way to the stage as the camera comes back to focus on Romero.
