The IWE cameras are rolling and inside the ring we’ve just witnessed and exciting fatal four way match for the IWE European Championship between the champion Kenny Dykstra, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy has finished celebrating in the ring and heads up the ramp holding the title above his head and disappears backstage. And just moments later the fans’ attention turns towards the tron above the stage as a video package begins to roll…
…When the video is done the cameras are back in the arena and the fans are charged up with that the knowledge that Rey Mysterio will return to the IWE and it happens this coming Friday Night when IWE’s second flagship show, Smackdown makes it’s return live February eighth in Detroit, Michigan.
:: Good Ol’ JR :: My god King can you believe it…Rey Mysterio returns this Friday night on Smackdown, now that’s big.
:: The King :: Yeah that is big unlike the man himself, HAHA!
:: Good Ol’ JR :: Oh come on King is that all you’ve got to say on the matter, it is Rey Mysterio you know.
:: The King :: Yeah JR I know who he is I guess I’m just a little bitter that he’s chosen to sign to Smackdown and right here on the A Show.
:: Good Ol’ JR :: I’m kind of disappointed myself but it’ll be great having him back in IWE none the less and I for one will be tuning into Smackdown this Friday night to see it. Anyway folks we’re going to a short commercial break but don‘t go anywhere becaue when we return your going see a lot more action including a diva’s match, which I know my partner here is looking forward to…

The scene opens up in the backstage area of the Joe Louis arena where IWE backstage interviewer Anastasia Rose who is standing by with a microphone in hand awaiting her cue.
:: Anastasia Rose ::Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time, making his return to IWE…REY MYSTERIO!
The fans in the arena give a huge ovation at the sight of Rey as he appears in the camera shot and stands next to her.
:: Anastasia Rose ::First off allow me to be the first to welcome you back to IWE. It‘s been a little over a year since we last saw you here, so what have you been doing in your year of absence from IWE ?
:: MexiKing ::Thanks for the welcome as far as my absence, most of my time has been spent just being my familia. There’s nothing more important to me than my family and I thought it was about time I devoted my time to them for a little while. Other than that I done some small time matches on the independent circuit back in Tijuana, getting back to my roots you know. But a year out of the major spotlight that is IWE was a year to long and my family knew it so they told me to make my return so here I am.
Just then Rey turns his attention to his left hearing the familiar voice of his son Dominik, his daughter Aaliyah and with them his beautiful wife Angelica come into the camera‘s focus.
:: Anastasia Rose ::Hi guys. So these little ones are your inspiration I’m guessing ?
:: MexiKing ::Absolutely my boy, my baby girl and without a doubt my wife are my inspiration and my life. I love the wrestling business but this is just my job, familia comes first to me over everything, everything I do is based around what’s best for them, Puro y simple.
:: Anastasia Rose :: That’s great and I see that you mean every word of it. So Dominik what’s it like to have Rey Mysterio as a father ?
:: Dominik :: It’s great, all my friends thing I’m the luckiest boy in the world. I love my dad very much and want to be just lie him when I grow up.
Anastasia holds the microphone out to Aaliyah having asked her the same question but the little girl just buries her face in her mother’s dress hiding away from the microphone.
:: Anastasia Rose :: How about you Angelica ?
:: Dominik :: He’s my best friends, a wonderful husband and the greatest fathers to his kids. He’s all the things that makes a man great all wrapped up in one man. And along the lines of what Dom said. I feel like the luckiest women on the world.
:: Anastasia Rose :: That’s beautiful, so now that Rey Mysterio is back here in IWE what does the future have hold for you ?
:: MexiKing ::In the long run…gold. Whether it be X-Division, United Sates or becoming tag champ for a third time or even becoming World Champion. But for right now for tonight…victory when Matt Hardy and I beat Montel Vontavious Porter and Gregory Helms.
Turning back to his family who proceed to give Rey a big group hug, then leaving them the camera’s focus turns back to Anastasia.
:: Anastasia Rose :: There you have it. Rey Mysterio…father, husband and world renowned luchador back in IWE and promises victory with Matt Hardy in his return match, Back to you guys at ring side.

A litter later on into the evening he IWE cameras are once again in the backstage area of the Joe Louis Arena crew members are going about their business but apart from that not much else appears to be happening that is until the camera picks up on Rey Mysterio who’s walking in the direction of the male’s locker room. Just has he‘s about enter the locker room the doors opens from the other side and standing in Rey‘s way is IWE’s only Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle.
:: Kurt Angle :: I heard what your wife and kids had to say about you earlier. What are you trying to do Rey, make everyne in the Arena barf. Besides that was nothing compared to the nice things my family would have said about me…
:: MexiKing :: Correct me If I’m wrong Kurt but my wife and kids are here supporting me tonight where as tonight your family nowhere to be seen. In fact I believe Karen’s on the opposite brand, Monday night Raw. Sounds a little dysfunctional to me Kurt.
:: Kurt Angle :: Watch your mouth Rey, Moving on though, you know when I heard you’d be making a come back but for the life of me I just couldn’t figure out why you’d want to even bother.
:: MexiKing :: And just what‘s that meant to mean Kurt ?
:: Kurt Angle :: Well let’s face it Rey you are the guy who physical short-comings have been somewhat of a let down throughout your entire career…
:: MexiKing :: Very funny Kurt you’re a real laugh a minute kind of guy. But I memory serves be right since I’ve been here in IWE I’ve managed to accomplish more than a few things… two time IWE Tag Champion, Intercontinental Champion, European Champion and Cruiserweight Champion. Now I’m no mathematical genius but even I know that’s four more title reigns than you’ve had here in IWE. And if memory serves me correct it was me that beat both Randy Orton and you to become World Champion back in the WWE.
:: Kurt Angle :: You think your real cleaver don’t you Rey. I got news for you though, that was two years ago. Right here right now I’d wipe the floor with you, if I want…
Kurt is cut off in mid sentence as from down the other direction of the hall Matt Hardy comes walking up to the two men.
:: Matt Hardy :: Everything cool here Rey Rey ?
:: MexiKing :: Yeah man all good me and Kurt’s just catching up on old times isn’t that right Kurt.
:: Kurt Angle :: Right.
Kurt pushes past Rey and heads off down the hallway leaving the two old friends and former tag team partners alone. They men shake hands and share in a manly embrace. And begin to catch up on old times of their own as the scene fades out to another commercials break.

The scene opens up inside the Joe Louis Arena at the ringside area of the building where the IWE fans are waiting patiently for more of exciting Smackdown action. And their not kept waiting long before the sound of P.O.D.’s “Booyaka” hits over the pa system and moments later with a burst of pyros Rey get lifted into the air appearing on the staging at the top of the ramp way. The camera’s pans around the arena taking in the audiences in attendance who all seem more than happy to have Rey back in IWE.
On his way down the ramp way heading towards the ring Mysterio high-fives some of the fans and goes noseto nose with some of the younger kids in the crowd who are wearing replica masks of his. Finally climbing into the ring Rey climbs each of the turnbuckles an looks out over the fans and you just know he’s glad to be back where he belongs inside a wrestling ring after over a years absents. Climbing down from the last turnbuckle Mysterio collects the microphone from Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts and waits for his music to cut out before talking.
:: MexiKing :: You know after all this time I just can‘t begin to tell you how great a feeling it is to be once again standing inside an IWE wrestling ring in front of all you wonderful IWE fans. I’ve missed you guys como loco and to hear that ovation that you gracefully bestowed upon me just lets me know I’ve made the right decision to come back, and come back I have and I intend on starting things off the right way and that’s with a facil victoria. See tonight if you hadn’t already known or you just wasn’t really paying attention, not only do I make my IWE return but I also make my in-ring return tonight. But I’m not coming out alone, oh no tonight it’s a tag team match. And my partner, a good friend of mine and a man that I once co-held the IWE tag team championships with…Matt Hardy. And the opponents the most over paid superstar in all of sport entertainment MVP, Montel Vontavious Porter and another man that I once considered a good friend, Gregory Helms.
:: MexiKing :: I can’t being to tell you how much confidence I have in me with having a partner in this tag match tonight like Matt. A man I know has my back a man who knows me inside and out inside this ring, a man I work with like a well oiled machine. And if you needed anymore proof of the fact that we work well together all you gotta do is look up a little history from around here and you see are names side by side as former tag champions. Now I’ve heard Matt’s thoughts on tonight and I was taken back a little this isn’t the Matt Hardy I remember as my one time tag partner, something deep down inside him is coming to the surface, is it the real him, I don’t know for sure but either way tonight I know for sure that you want this victory tonight just as much as I do and that’s why I know that despite whether or not Mat is himself or not, tonight in this ring Matt Hardy will be the true professional he’s known for begin when in the ring and that’s why I know tonight we are going to be named the victors.
:: MexiKing :: Tonight Matt and myself have the one thing that the two of you could nor will ever have, and that’s trust I know I can trust on him and he to knows he can trust me or at least I hope he does. But you two guys you’re too much alike one another. Both of you extreme egomaniacs can’t even begin to trust each other only looking out for yourselves not giving a damn about one another and that fact is what will lead to the down fall of your one night partnership trust goes a log way in this business and you two have none. Take you for a start Gregory, I’ve known you for a very long time and throughout that time I’ve considered you a friend. I’ve known you ever since WCW when you went about dancing on green circles in the ring and lip syncing your outrageously poor songs as one third of three count. Then from there you went on to begin dressed in green as WWE’s resident superhero The Hurricane. Throughout all those year like I said I considered you as a friend then from out o nowhere you became unbearable to be around, turning your back on your friends and the wrestling fans that had supported you fro so long and you just don’t turn your back on the fans, the fans are what makes you what you are. And for what, greater success,, well I’ve got one question for you Gregory where’s all the success gone, down the drain that’s where and your career looks to be going the same way.
:: MexiKing :: No doubt about it, then there’s your partner. MVP, Montel Vontavious Porter. The most over-rated, over paid wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots. Ever since you came on the scene two years ago you’ve been nothing but a thorn in most people’s sides. Claming to be the best athlete there is but time and time again proving yourself to be full of nothing but false bravado. Dessing alike a power ranger and taking on unknown opponents and so called champions from around the world. You say your half man, half amazing, well you got one part right, you are half a man. As far as amazing in my books you’ve got a long way to go before you earn that title you gotta prove yourself the boys in the back and more importantly these fans. And until then you’ll always be nothing. Tonight MVP you get your first taste of defeat at the hands of myself and Matt Hardy.
With those final words spoken from the mouth of Mysterio, he hands the microphone back over to Justin Roberts as his music plays over the pa system. Taking his leave from the ring Rey heads back up the ramp way high-fiving some more of the fans’ hands and then disappears into the back to go take care of the last of his pre-match rituals.
