Scene: One
The scene opens up in the backstage area of the MGN Grand Arena where tonight after having the week of during the thanksgiving holidays the PWE superstars return to action ready to blow away the fans in Las Vegas with the fast paced action and excitement that PWE has been known to deliver to it’s great fans. The PWE cameras pick up on the arrival to the arena of Shelton Benjamin and his momma. The two are talking amongst themselves and as the camera comes in closer it picks up on their conversation.

Thanks momma. Things are defiantly looking good for me already I mean I beat the Intercontinental champion in my debut match.

That’s right boy. But that’s just one match and yeah I’m sure it opened the eyes of that nice Mr. McMahon and showed him my baby deserves to have that title around his waist.

But if you really want to prove yourself to him you got to keep on winning matches baby. Now I know this week‘s match isn‘t exactly what we wanted but it‘s the match you‘ve got and it gonna be another stroke in the win column for Shelton Benjamin cause it don‘t matter none who you face in that ring your gonna win cause you’re a Benjamin and that‘s what we Benjamin‘s are all about, winning.

You got that right I don’t even need a partner I could beat these guys by myself…with one arm tied behind my back.

With a big smile on his face Shelton pits his arm ovr his Momma’s shoulders and head off in the direction of the canteen as the scene fades out.
About an hour into the show the PWE cameras are in the backstage area where Kevin Kelly is standing by with a microphone in hand.

Alright ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time…Shelton Benjamin. Now Shelton your just moments away from taking part in the four corners tag team match with your Partner for the night, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP. I guess my first question to you is how are you feeling about teaming with MVP and is it going to be a one night only deal ?

As far I see it Kevin this match tonight is just a distraction from what became my goal as of last week…

Jack Evan’s and the taking of his Intercontinental championship belt. Everyone saw me pin that wigger’s shoulders to the mat two weeks ago for the 1..2..3. And in my option that should make me the number one contender to his championship. And when the time comes and I get my shot at it, I’ll be takin’ the belt back home to Orangeburg, South Carolina an that you can count on. But as far as tonight’s match and my partner MVP. I’ve got no beef with the guy like me he’s a great athlete and I’m glad to get the chance to be workin’ with him but yeah Kevin as far as I’m concerned this is for one night only. I’ve done the whole tag team thing and I’ve no interest in doing it again, I‘m nopt looking to become runnin‘ buddy to someone else in my career so here in PWE it’s goin’ to be all about Shelton Benjamin and I intend to look after number one and know one else.

Well there’s the team of Bret Hart & Hollywoood Hogan, The team of Robert Roode & Austin Starr, and the team of Tyler Black & Jack Evans

Ah that right, one team of legendary men and the other two teams of never will bes. I‘ll start with Hart and Hollywood. The Hulk, The Hulkster, The Immortal Hulk Hogan, Hollywood, The Babe Ruth of Pro Wrestling…what a crock maybe back in your day you could live up all those nicknames but in todays world your just another washed up legend looking for that one finale run and in your case that one finale run for the like umpteenth time. Don‘t get me wrong you are probably the greatest livin‘ legend today you made the business what is today way back in the eighty’s and if it wasn‘t for you most of the guys in the back wouldn‘t be here today. But not me Hogan I grew up idolising real legends the likes of Bobo Brazil, Tony Atlas, Sweet Daddy Siki, "Birdman" Koko B. Ware. The list goes on and on and they’re the men that inspired me and the reason I stand here today. You know everyone keeps talkin’ about how Hulkamina won’t die, Hulkamania will live for ever the only reason it hasn’t already keeled over is because you won’t let the people forget. So how about instead of comin’ back as many times as you do you stay at home in Florida and you work keep doin’ your little TV show “Hogan Knows Best” Clearly false advertising there though Hogan because from what I’ve heard you don’t know how to keep your marriage in tack. Maybe I should look Linda up sometime and show her what she’s been missing all these years been married to you, or better yet get together with Brooke and show her a great time, either way the famous quote stands, “Once You Go Black, You Never Go Back.”

Which brings me to you Bret Hart, The Excellence of Execution, The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be. What is it that makes you old timers think you’ve still got what it takes to be apart of this business. You guys have had your turn, dial down the egos and let the past go. You two are in your fifty’s these days it’s a little sad seein’ you come back and not being able to live up to what you’ve already accomplished in your careers, between the two of you alone you’ve got twenty one world heavyweight championship reigns and countless more championship reigns. Not to mention the health risks you have to worry about especially in your case Bret. You’re a man who’s suffered from a stoke back in 2002 now that me have been five years ago but it was a hit to the head that caused you to suffer from partial paralysis due to the stroke. And in this business it’s onlt a matter of time before you take another big blow to the head either from a steel chair or just landin’ wrong and comin’ off worse than havin’ a stroke. Your putting a lot on the plate of your fellow wrestlers who have to look after their own wellbeing as well as yours. And I know I speak for every guy in the back when I say not one of us wants to be the man responsible for you ending up next to your brother in Queen's Park cemetery. The problem you two have is a simple one, you listen to these idiot fans who chant “One More Match” those people don’t care about you all they care about getting’ their money’s worth cause they all know the one more match they want could end up bein’ the reason your no longer with us.

Robert Roode and Austin Starr, Momma’s got this one son. Let me begin with you Robert Roode. Boy I don’t like you at all and for one very good reason and that’s the way you treat women. I’ve seen the way you push around the young lady Ms. Brooks, Now she may dress like a damn jezebel with her boobies all on show but she’s still a women and you don’t treat a women like that. A real man doesn’t yell, push or shove a woman about the way you do a real man like my Shelton knows how to treat women right cause I brought my boy up to respect women and do the right thing where as it looks as though your Momma dragged you up. Just like Jack Evans who was my opponent two weeks ago in my debut match you to are a successful wrestler…on the independent circuit and you also happen to be former tag team members of possible the worst named stable in all of wrestling history “Generation Next.” Not only that but you‘ve got one other thing in common thing in common just like Evans did last week, tonight your goin’ to lose to me, Shelton Benjamin. You might be a strict vegatarian but tonight you’ll taste defeat the form of a nice big juicy T-bone.

Tyler Black, another no name little punk from the independent circuit that thinks they’ve got what it takes to be in the major leagues and play with the big boys. Tonight you’ve got your chance kid and you better put it to good use. But I regret to inform you that the last thing it that’s goin’ to happen tonight is you comin’ anywhere near to beating me. Two weeks ago I went through at list of the things I’ve accomplished since I started wrestling back in the tenth grade, accomplishments that prove without a doubt I am the most gifted athlete in Professional Wrestling Entertainment and proving even more so that you independent punks are nowhere close to being in my league. And finally Jack Evans, jack just two weeks ago I debuted her in PWE against you and just like back in the WWE people underestimated me, the thought I actually did have what it takes to beat you. They didn’t say it but I know they were thinkin’ it. Just caue my Momma loves me enough to be here to support me every week the think I’m a weak little momma’s boy. Well I proved everyone wrong when beat you 1..2..3. Throughout the whole match I tried to make you look as good as I possible could but just like Charlie Hass, there’s only so long I could carry you through a match. And tonight I get to do it all over again for a second time once again proving I derserve to be number one contender to the Intercontinental championship.
