Bio
The Brute was discovered by a very young Psychiatrist named Dr. Dimitri Down in the garbage behind an old psychiatric hospital in Rhode Island. The baby was only a few hours old and it was the most hideous thing the doctor has ever seen. Dr. Down thought of leaving it alone to die, but an idea came to him. Long has the doctor desired to manipulate the human mind through means unsanctioned by his colleagues. He wanted to take Ivan Pavlov’s study on classical conditioning to a whole new level. So he took the child in and raised him. Dr. Down soon discovered that the child had clinical Down syndrome, giving The Brute little higher order thinking skills. The Brute can’t analyze reason or synthesize. He has difficulty with his speech but it is unknown whether this was something he was born with or not. The Brute wears a metal collar around his neck. He was trained by Dr. Down that for as long as the collar was on, The Brute could not hurt anyone. But the moment the collar was off, you better run.
