Cocky. Brash. Talented. Asshole. Champion. All these words can describe Gerard Angelo. He's held multiple titles, more then most people ever hold in their careers. He's also endured more from the business then most people have to. Gerry was born in Los Angeles, but his family quickly moved to Beverly Hills as his father was named chairman of a major corporation. He lived a privileged life growing up having almost anything he wanted. In high school he was a stand out on the football team as a running back and on the baseball team as a center fielder. But he started training to become a wrestler under the legendary Jonathan Starsmore (father to Tommy Purr), it was here he met Tommy and his future ex-wife Yvonne "Bombshell" Peterson. Gerry was favored by Jonathan over the other students as he showed the most promise and hunger. this earned him the name "the Golden Boy" by the other students, but Gerry took it in stride using it to feed his already growing ego. After Gerard graduated he worked the indie promotions, bouncing from promotion to promotion nightly. Gerry became fed up of this so he booked a flight to Japan to wrestle there. It was in Japan where he broke another man's neck with a pile driver. In the aftermath he really felt no remorse, only that the match had been sopped and he didn't win. It was the beginning of his ego-centricism. After the incident he really couldn't get work so he flew to Mexico, where he wrestled under a mask as El Lobo for a while. Gerard came back to the states because Mr. Starsmore called him and told him CWA was having a talent viewing. Gerard did the job with the Canadian based federation, but the turned a blind eye to our hero for a while, which in his head told him that the other established stars were fearing being overshadowed by his raw talent. Gerry finally got his big break, winning the Television title, only to have the company close down soon after. He took some time off to hone his skills, not that he needed to in his opinion, and got a call from GWO. They bought out all the contracts from CWA so he had a new employer. He brought the CWA television title with him, calling him self the REAL television champion. this is how he embarked on a feud with Halloween Jack, who was the GWO television champion at the time. Gerry won their battle, and the GWO television title. He began calling himself the Unified Television Champion. Shortly after Gerry joined up with Max Cameron to form Youthful Aggression and Rated R joined soon after, becoming the most powerful stable in the company as Max captured the world title from Myst. But Gerry soon started to feud with another Jack, Hellfire Jack, Halloween's cousin. Hellfire took Gerry's title away from him, but Gerard had bigger issue to worry about as Youthful Aggression, now featuring Slim Pickens, had to worry about Shannon Skanes buying back the company. As the waters of GWO were getting turbulent, Gerry won back his television title in an over the top rope battle royal. He held this for a while, as him and Ryan "Rated R" Yourke proved YA was the most dominate stable as they beat every time that tried to oppose by nipping it in the bud before it could sprout. Gerry went on to lose his title to Slim, who defected from YA, at battle of the warriors in a match featuring Jack Spade in a triple threat match where his hardcore title was on the line as well. Gerry couldn’t worry about it this time as Rated R won the BOTW tourney to get a world title shot. Him and Gerry soon kicked out Max Cameron for being dead weight and they brought in Dizz, the only three time CWA champion that came out of retirement. Gerry took a short hiatus to play Darth Vader in star wars, but came back and won the Canadian title. As their dominance continued, Gerard heard his old friend/rival Tommy Purr was looking for a job. Angelo pulled some strings and got Tommy and his partner in crime Bombshell a job. They both joined youthful aggression right away. Shortly after Gerard and Bombshell began dating. Youthful Aggression enjoyed dominance as the top stable, nobody seemingly able to knock them off as they held the World title(Rated R), Gerry's Canadian title, and Bombshell's woman's title. But a match was soon made where Gerry and best friend Rated R would have to square off in a Four Corners Last Man Standing match featuring Razorblade and Max Cameron. Gerry won after Razorblade, who was eliminated prior, smashed Rated R's head in with a chair, completing a journey of ups and downs and he finally became World Champion. He's the only man in history to hold the World title and Canadian title at the same time, until he was stripped of the Canadian championship to be just the world champion. That's when the fractures of Youthful Aggression began to show, as Rated R would play second fiddle to no one, especially not a stable mate who used to follow orders with out question. The month leading up to their rematch, Rated R played his famous head games with Gerry, even causing the end of his relationship with Bombshell. Rated R won, but shortly after GWO folded. Gerry and Ryan seemingly patched things up as Ryan tried to run a federation and made Gerry head of security. It didn't work out so once again our hero was unemployed. That what brings us to Anarchy wrestling, which saw our hero and his lady reunited and turn on friend Tommy Purr to join Anarchy Inc, changing his moniker from the Hollywood Hero to the Anarchy Hero. This was the federation that saw Gerry become World champion for a second time, once again beating Rated R, this time in an ultimate X match. He also finally married Yvonne that night. Gerry lost this belt shortly after to Tommy Purr, who finally bested the man that took his father's affections away from him all those years ago. After that Gerry had to deal with his wife divorcing him and cheating on him with Jack Spade, 6Pac, and Hoshi. After that much of his career is a blur. due to the fact he wrestled in many promotions at the same time, he took more wear and tare on his body then others. He had multiple surgeries on his knee and took some time off. He faked his death in a plane crash only to return months later. He took time off again and came back a year later to go to the final round of the King of Philadelphia tourney, narrowly losing to Cory Chevelle, who only wrestled one match fully. Gerry is hungry and he comes to ESW on the word of Tommy Purr that he will face the best in the business.In January of 2010, Gerard won the Battle of the Warriors tournament, beating Hoshi Yakamoto in the finals in a two out of three falls match. As ESW and CWA once again split, Gerard burst onto the scene in ESW, the BOTW victory granting him a title shot at the ESW Triple Crown Championship, held at the time by Gary Barber. They wrestled in an instant Classic on Epic Mayhem, Gerard narrowly losing to the "Dark Horse". From there, Gerard went on to be one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster, his larger then life personality and comedy putting him over with the fans. At Kick Ass, Inc '10, Gerard beat both Riley Robinson and Malk in a Triple Threat match for the Television title, a match Gerry was in because Malk in a rage tried to attack his mentor Jonathan Starsmore. Our hero also recently defended his title successfully at Bruise Cruise in a Four Corners match, featuring Malk, Riley Robinson, and Hammer. The sky is the limit for Gerard in Empire State Wrestling, and while he enjoys being Television champion, his eyes are turned towards a higher prize....
