Bio

Franco Albert Corraluzo was born September 13, 1976 in South Philadelphia. Shortly after his birth, his father left him and his mother to fend for themselves in the tough streets of Philly. At the age of 5, Franco met James Catanzaro, who later became known as JC Michaels, and they became best friends.

At the age of 10, Franco lost his mother in a terrible incident where his mother was robbed and killed and left laying in the street. From there, Franco moved in with James and his mother and they basically were a family. They attended the same schools together until college, when Franco went to the University of Delaware on a football scholarship, and James attended Shippensburg University to play baseball.

Franco graduated with his degree, but never intended to use it. Shortly after graduating he joined James and they began their pro wrestling career after being trained by former WWE wrestler Tom Brandi. The penned the names "JC Michaels" and "Hammer." They both landed jobs in the GWF and they quickly became the best tag team in the federation, and held the tag team titles before the organization folded in later 1999. From there Michaels and Hammer were recruited by the IWF and both began wrestling there. It was there that Hammer suffered a debilitating back injury that almost ended his wrestling career. Michaels left the IWF for Todd Rogers' XWA and went on to greatness. However after about 6 months of treatment, Hammer was ready to return and JC got him a job in the XWA. The rest was history.

Hammer went on to win the XWA's version of the Hardcore Title 2 times, the U.S. Title once, the Tag Team Title's once, and held the XWA World Title on 3 different occasions. He was also a part of the famed South Street Mafia, and the controversial Power Trip. After the XWA folded Hammer took some time off to rest his injuries from the XWA.

However Hammer then made his return to wrestling in August of 2002 as he debuted in the BLPW along with Matthew Bright and called themselves the Repeat Offenders. However the return didn't last long as he was injured in a brutal match with Vindicater.

In the following weeks and years, Hammer went on to not only win the Tag Team Titles with tag team partner Matthew Bright as the Power Trip, but he also became BLPW World Champion, defeating Eternity and Kaz Nakamaki in a Triple Threat Match.

Now Hammer has returned to wrestling in the ESW to avenge a savage beating given to his best friend JC Michaels and to win the Tag Team titles with his Power Trip partner Matthew Bright at Partners in Crime.
