Bio
Demian Smith was born and raised on the streets. He was troubled as a teenager until he found his calling as a pro wrestler. He started up in a wrestling school back in 2000. After 2 years of hard work he made his debut on the wrestling scene as Lone Star. He competed in a variety of small feds where he built his fame and popularity under the "ghetto bird" gimmick which to him was more than just a gimmick. It was a way of life. In June of 2003 Demian received a call from BLPW and was offered a contract.In his first year and a half with the company Demian enjoyed a moderate amount of success holding a low level championship. He main evented a couple of PPVs but did not manage to make it to the top of the card like he wanted to. Early in 2005 he ended up suffering a neck injury that he tried to work through but the disagreements with the company ended up with Demian getting fired. He quickly received a contract offer from CWA but his nagging neck injury made that endeavor last only a couple of months.
In the early spring of 2006 Demian managed to work his issues out with BLPW and returned to the company. He quickly built himself up as the top star in the company. He won the North American championship and held it for the record 13 months before winning the World Heavyweight championship which he held for 6 months. But unfortunately BLPW ended folding and Demian decided to take a break from wrestling.
During his time off Demian has used his fame to build himself a fortune during the time when a lot of people have lost everything they have. He bought repossessed houses from the banks when they were at their lowest prices and has been selling them back to other people ever since the market started rebounding for 3, 4 and sometimes even 5 times the money he has paid for them. Now Demian is looking to make a comeback to wrestling and ESW is where it is going to happen.
