Bio
Romeo Delight was a potential legend in the wrestling industry, but a legend who's story ended perhaps a little too soon.
Born in Wall Township, New Jersey Romeo grew up watching professional wrestling on television and reading various magazines on the subject, developing a strong admiration and influence from wrestlers such as Jesse "The Body" Ventura, "Superstar" Billy Graham, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Romeo made his in-ring debut in 1978 and competed in companies throughout the North-East both as a singles wrestler and with a tag-team partner Buck Lassek (collectively named. The Young Warriors)
Delight and Lassek were both known for their party-hearty lifestyle and traveled the world before Delight ended up in the CWA, during the early days of the promotion without Lassek. His tenure didn't last as in 1987 Romeo's wife left him. Romeo subsequently left the business to care for his infant daughter, Angelica. Retiring from the industry for twenty years, Romeo is slowly making his way back into a business he always loved.
