Bio

From the streets of Miami, Florida, "Hot Stuff" Shawn Sanders entered the BLPW with very little experience. Having been taught by his famous uncle "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, Shawn decided to take up the nickname of his famous uncle after his passing. Despite his lack of experience he managed to become the first ever BLPW World Champion, winning the inaugural King of Philly tournament, defeating Boris the Circus Bear in the finals. Shawn went on to defend the title for months before losing the title to Rob Stallion.

Shawn also orchestrated the appearance of the Power Trip in the BLPW, and went on to team with them for a brief period of time before getting involved in a bitter blood feud with BLPW Commissioner JC Michaels. After an injury suffered in this feud, Shawn returned and this time fought for the honor of the BLPW. Shawn once again won the BLPW World Title defeating Double J Joe Jones and in the process helped Gary Barber get back control of the BLPW. After vacating the title after a controversial rematch with Double J, Shawn suffered what many thought to be a career threatening injury. Shawn was out of action for well over a year, but in the meantime hosted his own show "The Third Degree," each week on Epic.

Finally Shawn made his return teaming with his former nemesis Double J Joe Jones to win the BLPW Tag Team Titles in a tournament. Shawn now returns to action in the ESW to help his friend Gary Barber attempt to win the tag team titles at ESW Partners in Crime.
