Biography:
The Early Years
Bill Turnbull was working out in a gym aged 20 when a man known as ‘Lively’ Arthur Sweeley, a veteran British wrestler and a legend of his time, spotted him. Sweeley walked up to the not so muscular Bill and told him he had a look.

“You got a look, kid.” He said. “I hate it. Get some meat on those bones ya faggot!”

Bill did. The next time Sweeley visited that gym, Bill was built like a brick shit house, and Sweeley was impressed. Sweeley offered him a spot in Britain’s premier wrestling promotion at the time, ebW. Bill accepted and started to build a career in the UK, where he met wrestling legend, The Dynamite Kid. Bill was so amazed at the heart and passion he showed for the business, he decided to call himself Bill Dynamite, after his hero. The Dynamite Kid caught up with Bill later on down the line and had this to say…

“You’re lucky I’m in a wheelchair, fatso, ‘cause I’d beat the shit out of you for stealing my name.”

Bill was looked at as one of the most promising young wrestlers in the country and began to move up the ladder, but one night that was all to change. He met the ebW World Champion at the time, Andy Harmon, who had a hold on the locker room and most notably, the chairman Dave Wickenden. A flippant comment later, and Bill was fired. His reputation across the country was shattered. Nobody would touch him.

Across The Pond
Bill was finding it hard to get a job in the UK. He was working indy promotions across the country but couldn’t find a permanent spot on any roster due to the reference Dave Wickenden was all too willing to give his future employers. Bill was stuck in a rut, fighting in front of school kids at fair grounds, and 40 smarks in a gym. Bill was sick to death of it, and now in his early to mid 30s, he needed to get out and reach his potential, he left to move across the pond.

Fatal Wrestling League
Not long after arriving, and working indy promotions, he was contacted by fellow Englishman, British Brawler, who told him about an up and coming promotion by the name of the Fatal Wrestling League. Bill was quick to shoot to fame in FWL, taking the Intercontinental title from Scott Palmer. But before he could make a defence of his title, he was attacked and thrown off the ramp, suffering what was thought to be a broken neck. Bill was out of action for quite some time. The next time Bill was seen was in GWC, FWL’s feeder promotion, giving advice to both Notoriou$ and Magnus Diesel (British Brawler’s brother) before their World Title fight. Bill was a special guest at that event, and after Notoriou$ had screwed Magnus Diesel out of the title with the aid of Andy Harmon and his henchmen, Dynamite rose from his wheelchair and gave a shocking chair shot to Magnus Diesel, declaring war on British Brawler.

Bill said his reasons for costing Diesel the title were simple. 1) He didn’t like Magnus. 2) He wanted to escape his partnership with British Brawler. 3) In Notoriou$ he found a true friend. From that moment, FWL witnessed one of it’s most bitter rivalries; Bill Dynamite versus Magnus Diesel. Despite being enemies, they were teamed together by management and won the Tag Team titles together. Then, at FWL Xtreme Dream, the feud was ended in a ladder match for $500,000. Bill won, and after the event, told a limo driver to go kill himself. The limo driver did, driving his limo on some train tracks which collided with an on coming freight train. Unfortunately, Magnus Diesel was placed in the trunk of that limo by two henchmen earlier that night and sadly perished in the accident.

British Brawler blamed Bill for his brother’s death, and after a mysterious explosion at Magnus’ funeral, Brawler declared war on Bill Dynamite, starting possibly the most bitter feud in the history of the business.

Dynamite Wrestling Organization
Bill had faked his own suicide to get out of his FWL contract, to join up with former enemy Andy Harmon and put a promotion together called dWo – Dynamite Wreslting Organization. Unfortunately, the partnership did not work out, with Harmon getting increasingly jealous with the credit Dynamite received for the project. Dynamite was arrested for attacking a man in a men’s room after his win against FWL legend Hades in the World Title Tournament. It was the last he was seen in the promotion which eventually folded due to allegations of corruption. It was in dWo that British Brawer, Bill’s mortal enemy, won his first World Championship.

Xtreme World Wrestling
When British Brawler became x2w World Champion (which was combined with the dWo World Championship), he thought the world was at his feet, unfortunately for him, Dynamite had returned from his hiatus, and challenged Brawler for his title. Dynamite beat British Brawler in a buried alive match to win his first World Championship. Brawler vanished.

Bill started his movie career, starring in box office hit, Day of the Dynamite. When he returned, he had former FWL World Champion Eric Poyntz waiting for him. Poyntz said that Dynamite had faked his own suicide because he was scared of facing Poyntz, who had allegedly challenged him before the incident. They met in the ring for the first time for the x2w World Title, but the match ended in Dynamite being disqualified.

Epic Wrestling Organization
Bill took some time off wrestling and filmed the sequel 2 DynaMighty. It was a huge flop and Bill descended into depression, binging on booze, drugs and food and reached over 300lbs. But his chance to shine was given to him once again by AJ Epic, owner of eWo. Epic was looking to add a legend to his roster, and Dynamite was his choice, unfortunately, the only thing legendary about Bill was his ability to clear out Krispy Kreme’s entire week’s stock.

Bill was looking unstoppable, reaching the final of the World Championship Tournament, where he beat Dylan Dunn and became eWo’s first World Champion. Bill was scheduled to fight Dylan Dunn in the rematch for the World Title, but Dunn did not show for the match; instead British Brawler came back from the 'dead' and pushed Bill over the edge. Bill was mentally scarred at seeing the man he thought was buried alive a year previous and lost the title to Johnny Legend in a triple threat with Erin Jacobs. Legend pinned Jacobs to win the title and Bill was dejected, losing his winning streak and his title. Bill then lost to his supposed friend Lawrence Jarvis and never returned to eWo.

Blazenwing Wrestling Federation
Bill arrived with a bang, hired by Scott Palmer for his Monday Night show, Crisis. Dynamite was seriously high on all kinds of drugs by this point and could hardly see straight, but this didn’t stop him kicking all kinds of ass in BWF’s number one contenders match, Gauntlet Run. Bill started at number one as a challenge to Timothy Murphy, and went all the way to the final four, but Bill was eliminated, exhausted and in need of a hit. He went nuts backstage and ended up getting his contract torn up.

All Pro Wrestling & MECCA
He spiralled downwards and fought briefly in Scott Palmer’s All Pro Wrestling. Bill’s money problems were huge, and needed a bigger deal which he received from MECCA, with management not knowing what a bad state he was in. As he was struggling to keep up with the All Pro and MECCA’s schedules, and paying off his debts, Bill thought enough is enough, and decided to clean up his life. He stopped man-whoring and asked BWF favourite The Legend to get him back into shape. After months of gym-work, Bill returned to near full fitness and turned a corner in his career as he passed the age of 40.

Project X Wreslting
Bill arrived in px:w a different man. No longer fat and useless, looking to leave his legacy before bowing out for good. His first match was against Gabe Shelley, formally Mad Dogg, who he disposed of with relative ease. Cody Clark, the then World Champion, said if Bill could beat his hand-picked opponent, he would be in the Main Event at px:w’s second pay-per-view. Bill beat Clark’s choice of Bobby Clark to be named in the huge match at Hell & Back; Cody Clark © vs Lawrence Jarvis vs Bill Dynamite – Hell in a Cell, for the px:w World Championship. Dynamite though was screwed out of winning the world title by upstart Gabe Reno.

Bill would get his revenge at px:w’s aptly named pay-per-view, State of Revenge. He beat Gabe Reno to become the number one contender for the World Title. What was to be his final match was against his biggest rival and brother, Lawrence Jarvis, for the px:w World Championship at px:w's High Impact pay-per-view. He won and his first defense was pencilled for px:w's following pay per view No Return in Bill's hometown of London, England. But due to legal problems regarding an assault at Dynamite's residence, he did not appear in the match and was forced to be replaced by Cody Clark, who won the title. Bill went out on top, as an undefeated World Champion and although he leaves behind a grand legacy, he never had his dream match against Erin Jacobs.
