Czecher debuted in the promotion named after Billy D himself, dWo – Dynamite Wrestling Organisation as Kodak Hespeler. He always had talent and incredible potential. Instead of going for the big one right off the bat and fading away, Czecher plied his trade and worked hard through dWo, x2w and eWo. But he never went unnoticed. He went on to win dWo Intercontinental title, x2w International title and All Pro Wrestling’s World Championship. Czecher will not be known for being Bill Dynamite’s sidekick in x2w, but for being a world class athlete who will always give the best he can.
“When I first saw Czecher, he was in the locker room at dWo. I had no idea who he was, but the guy certainly looked impressive. A toned physique, tall and commanding, I thought I should introduce myself. He told me he had been in dWo a little while, I didn’t know, I had been on and off television for a while, I had no clue who half the guys there were. He told me his name was Kodak Hespeler. I suggested that he needed a name with a little more punch to get over. He came up with Czecher, after his homeland of the Czech Republic.”
“The next time I saw him, he was being mentored by a giant of the business, a veteran known as Hell Raiser, who had previously won FWL’s World title. And if anybody thought Czecher didn’t have a vicious streak before then, they quickly changed their mind when Czecher turned on his mentor and went nuts with a sledgehammer. This was the first time I gave serious thought into asking this guy to be my backup.”
“It was in x2w, where this guy was making great strides as a singles wrestler. But I just signed for x2w and I jumped the queue for the World Title, a lot of guys were none to pleased with Billy D. I needed a guy to take care of some business and watch my back. Czecher was that guy, and his first appearance as my “enforcer” was also the first appearance of Captain Shovel. He struck my nemesis British Brawler over the head with a shovel that was placed randomly backstage at a wrestling event. Things would never be the same again. That shovel has buried many foes and may bury many more.”
“Now Czecher is a family man. Sure, he’s had his problems with his wife and kid, but Czecher can fight. He’ll fight for his living and he’ll fight for his family. He’s made a nice sum of money in wrestling that will keep his family living a comfortable lifestyle for years to come. He also houses my son, Kevin, who won’t speak to me because I accidentally killed the guy who raised him for 18 years. But if Kevin were to be anywhere, I’d rather him be with Kodak Hespeler; A man I am proud to call my friend.”
