[ Meeting a man's mom is a huge step in a relationship and something I am not taking lightly. I'm actually really nervous about meeting Mike's mom. Don't get me wrong I'm nervous in a good way. I'm flattered that Mike think we're at the point in our relationship to introduce me to his mom. And already I know it will go over alot better than Rick introducing Brandi to his mom. After all I'm not about to shock the woman telling her that I'm pregnant like they did. Mike and I haven't even slept a full night in the same bed together, and have never done anything more than kiss. Truth is we have never even made out yet. I suppose that's a good thing. For me it's a good thing since I'm not too experienced in that area. I just hope that Mike doesn't think he's made a mistake in choosing someone so in-experienced as myself. I know that he's been with some fast women that have been around more than their share of blocks. But that's not what this weekend is about. It's about so much more for us and I couldn't be happier. I'll just do my best to keep away from hot botton topics. What those may be I'm not exactly sure, but I know Mike will inform me of any. So here I am trying to decide which dress looks more -daughter-in material. I don't want to show too much skin...lord know Mike's poor mom has seen enough of that. But I don't want to look too much like a prude ither. Then I decided that you can never go wrong with a cute sundress. I quickly went and put it on, it was a throw back to the 50's style of dresses. I love that style in clothing it always makes me feel so femine when I slip into it. I stepped back and looked at myself, it was pink and perfect...I put a pink headband on and my shoes. Then waiting for Mike to tell me that he was on his way. As I looked at my answering machine I saw I had a few messages on there. So to kill some time I decided to listen to them. ] Message one: "Skylar, it's Mr. James.....I'm going to need to see you at Soul Survivor some point during the night....We need to talk." [ With that he hung up the phone...No doubt it had something to do with Mike. You know I have no idea what Mr. James's deal is but I really wish he'd leave Mike alone.] Message Two: "Hey Sky....it's mom. I know you said that you would call me back and I hadn't heard from you today. But anyway I'm going out...give me a call tomorrow. I love you sweetheart." [ Oh Geez...I forgot that I told my mom I'd call her back. I've been so worried about meeting Mike's mom today I forgot to call my own mom back. Well no use worrying about it now. I'll just fill her in on everything tomorrow.] Message Three: "Sky...It's Jenny...Hey girl, I was just wondering if we could get together before Soul Survivor and grab some lunch. I haven't talked to you in a bit. The word is that you're actually going to meet Mike's mom...let me know how that turns out...talk to you soon." [ Jenny is so funny...I wonder how she knew that I was meeting Mike's mom. Oh well I guess that's why she's AWA's Ace reporter. As the last message played I heard a knock on the door. I wanted so badly to race over to ansewer it but didn't want to seem over anxious at the same time. Slowly I made my way over towards the door. ] Skylar Black: "Who is it?" [ I paused then heard Patience cute little voice.] Patience Young: "Skylar it's me...." Skylar Black: "Me who?" Patience Young: "You know..." Skylar Black: "No, I'm sorry...I don't open the door for strangers that say...it's me..." [ She giggled than answered ] Patience Young: "It's Patience...." Skylar Black : "Oh well that's differnt...." [ I said I as laughed a bit than opened up the door. She is so cute...she immediately hugged me and kissed my cheek as I picked her up.] Patience Young: "Come on..." Skylar Black: "To where?" Patience Young: "Daddy sent me to get you..." [ Taking a closer look in the driveway I saw Mike waving sitting in the car.] Patience Young: "So are you ready?" Skylar Black: "Yes I am....are you?" Patience Young: "Yes...." Skylar Black :"Well than let's not keep your dad waiting.." Patience Young: "Good...because daddy said we have to go see my grandma." Skylar Black: "I know....it's a very big day." Patience Young: "that's what daddy said to...till I told him..to 'emember it's only grammy..." [ She really is cute, I couldn't help but try not to laugh.] Skylar Black: "I know but I never met your grammy before." Patience Young: "Don't worry Skylar, she'll love you.." Skylar Black: "Oh, how do you know that." [ We reached the car and Mike got out. He opened the back door to put patience in her seat, and kissed my cheek.] Patience Young: "I know, she'll love you...because I love you..." Skylar Black: "Awe...I love you too sweetie..." [ I could tell that Mike was really happy by the smile on his face when his daughter told me that she loved me. It meant so much to the both of us. Once Patience was settled into her seat Mike shut the door. He opened up my door for me but before I got in I gave him a big hug.] Mike Young: "Are you nervous?" [ He whispered in my ear.] Skylar Black: "A bit..." Mike Young: "Don't be..everything will be fine." Skylar Black: "I know...let's go.." Mike Young: "You bet.." [ I got in and Mike shut the door. He jogged to the drives side and quickly got in. We both looked at each other smiling, he winked at me then started the car as we drove off to meet his mom.] About The Match: Is there anyone else around here sick of seeing yet another Cyprus vs Skylar match? I know that while I look forward to the challenge at the same time I find myself getting really bored of always having to fight Cyprus. I'm sure Cyprus is tired of kicking my ass and would like a bit more competiton. But I suppose I shouldn't really speak for her. She may actually like fighting me. Although if she's any type of competitor she should and really would want a new challenge. Don't get me wrong I love nothing more than going to the ring and entertaining my fans. I love hearing them cheer for me and getting behind me 100 percent. There's really not a better feeling in the world than when someone believes in you. I believe in giving them their money's worth but I also believe in variety. Let me tell you how this is going to go...I'm going to give it my all and by some small miracle Cyprus will pull out a victory at the last second. It's the way the story always goes. Skylar gives her all and it just is never good enough. I don't believe it's because she has more skills or even wants the win more than I do. Because no one wants to be the Fem-X champion more than I do. What I believe is that she finds a way to cheat. When she doesn't think anyone is looking she takes an oppertunity to get the upper hand. Is that wrong? Well to some no it's not...but to those of us who actually take pride in what we do it sure is. You know it amazes me, the person that actually cares about the title and wants to do right by the title is the person that is always stuck between a rock and a hard place. At Soul Survivor I'm going to go there and do what I always. This time I just hope that the out will be differnt and the right person leaves with the victory....Sorry folks my life is de-void of sex, and that I choose to live simple and cause too much trouble or any for that matter. My life isn't exciting and I don't have men fighting over me, or trying to decide if I'm still in love with my ex who's baby I could or couldn't have been having. Sorry that I don't sleep around or masterbate. I'm just a simple Southern girl who wants a simple normal life. You know the nice house with the loving husband and lots of kids and a few animals running wild. To me that's heaven...everything else like fame and titles...well that's just icing... |
