Meet and Greet

[ It's not a secret among the AWA roster that Skylar Black is a very happy girl. Ok, Ok...So she's a bit more happy then most of us. But did anyone ever really stop to ask themselves why? I'm sure you haven't. Infact I'm willing to bet my life on it that you haven't. Sure it seems that where ever Skylar goes she brings sunshine,happiness and laughter with her. Is that really such a bad thing? Don't you think AWA needs a blossoming flower among the bitterness, and wrong doings that go on. I know I think it does. A woman like Skylar is exactly what AWA needed. It needed someone to bring something fresh to the roster. Instead of the crop of women that are tortured souls or sex kittens. Ofcourse let's face it Sports Entertainment wouldn't survive without it's share of bad ass women or sexy divas. But among all of what's considered the same old, same old. Skylar Black walks in...actually change that she skips in. Today Skylar is doing what she does best. That's right she's spreading her sugary sweetness. Finally the Fem-X champion has an autograph session to greet her fans all by herself. She doesn't have to worried about being molested by Cody Carson. No today Skylar is dressed in a pair of jeans and a fluffy pink foe angora sweater designed by Skylar herself. Because we all know that Skylar is an animal lover, and would never wear anything like real angora. What would her pup peanut think? So looking pretty as always with her hair back in a neat pony tail with her hair partly curled, she eagerly wait. Once the people were all lined up Skylar took her seat with her faithful puppy peanut sitting in her Cherry Blossom Luis Vuitton bag next her on the table. Dressed in a little royal blue suit jacket and black and royal blue pin stripe tie to match his jacket. Skylar smiles and looks at peanut.] Skylar Black: "Oh peanut this is going to be so much fun. Finally I get to meet my fans one on one. And I can express to them how much they mean to me. And you look very dapper today peanut...Don't be nervous everyone will just love you." [ Peanut stands on his and let's out a bark. She smiles and pets her dog on the top of his head. The sporting goods store director walks over to Skylar.] Director:"Excuse me, Miss Black." Skylar Black:"Yes?" Director:"Are you ready?" Skylar Black:"Yes, I'm ready." [ Just as Skylar announces that she is ready she feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns to look over her shoulder to see AWA's ace reporter Jenny Tull. Skylar smiles and screeches as she hugs Jenny.] Skylar Black:"Jenny..Oh my God! I haven't seen you in so long!" [ Jenny smiles and warmly hugs Skylar back, then pulls up a chair. She puts the chair at Skylar's table then pets peanut before they both sit down.] Jenny Tull:"Well...doesn't peanut look cute today." Skylar Black:"Yes well blue is his favorite color. Speaking of looking great I love your shirt." [ Skylar gentely touches Jenny's arm from her elebow to her wrist feeling Jenny's silky red shirt that she worn to match her black mini skirt.] Jenny Tull:"Awe, that's Sky." Skylar Black:"You're welcome! Jenny, red is such a great color for you in really brings out the color in your face and just makes you glow. You should give some serious consideration to making it a staple color in your color pallet." Jenny Tull:"I'll keep that in mind." Skylar Black:"So what's up?" Jenny Tull:"I was just wondering if maybe I could tape an AWA interview with you?" [ Skylar pauses and looks out the window at her line of fans.] Skylar Black:"I do have this meet and greet but can we do it as I do the signing. I'm sorta pressed for time. But I'd really hate to let you down." [ She looks up at the director of the event.] Skylar Black:"Is that ok with you?" Director:"Not a problem...I'm going to let them in." [ Skylar bounces in her chair and claps.] Skylar Black:"Yay! I'm so excited!" Jenny Tull:"I'm excited for you Sky." Skylar Black:"Thanks..." Jenny Tull:"I'm going to set up." Skylar Black:"Alright...." [ The director opens the door and allows the first twenty people to enter. Skylar sits straight in her chair, as Jenny positions the camera man, and then sits back down next to Skylar.] Jenny Tull:"Hi, I'm Jenny Tull, and welcome to the first ever Fem-X Champion Skylar Black's meet and greet!" [ Jenny turns to face Skylar.] Jenny Tull:"Skylar how excited are you?" Skylar Black:"Very excited. All to often mean women like Brandi James don't really appreciate their fan base, and feel they have no use for them. Not realizing that without the fans they wouldn't be where they are. Even Angela Jameson you have to catch in a good mood in order for her to do something nice for a fan." Jenny Tull:"So true...It's interesting that you mention Angela since you have a match against her and Jimmy Stryker this saturday." [ The first fan comes up to the table with Skylar's AWA promotion photo. He puts in on the table and is almost entranced by her.] Fan:"Hi Skylar.." Skylar Black:"Hi, thanks for coming out." Fan:"I would have waited forever...You're so pretty." [ Skylar signs the picture and hands it back to him.] Skylar Black:"That's so nice of you. I hope you continue to watch." Fan:"oh I will.." [ The fan moves along and Skylar continues to sign photo after photo as Jenny asks more questions.] Jenny Tull:"So are you looking forward to teaming with Johnny Arnette?" Skylar Black:"Yes! I think Johnny is a remarkable man. He's a little guarded it's true. But under that big tough guy act I think there's a big teddy bear. He just needs someone to care." Jenny Tull:"If anyone can get through to him, I'm sure it's you." Skylar Black:"He just needs to let some of that hate and anger go. Once he does that he'll feel alot more free." [ Jenny nods, as Skylar smiles while a fan poses with her and snaps a picture. She looks at the little girl who's wearing her trade mark butterfly necklace.] Skylar Black:"Thanks sweetie, and remember to always do your homework and go to bed early to get plenty of rest. Remember the early bird catches the worm, and if you're tired you won't be catching any worms, that's for sure." [ The little girl can't speak from being a bit star struck. Her mother takes her by her hand and pulls her away.] Jenny Tull:"Now what about Angela's accusations of how you're not a real champion. That you only have that title because Brandi James handed it to you." Skylar Black:"While Angela is only stating the obvious she seems to have forgetten that I have defended this title, and have won my share of matches. I'm sure that it's a bit tough for her. You know with all the issues she has going on. I'm not sure who has more issues Aspen or Angela." Jenny Tull:"Both do seem to have their own share of troubles. But what about her saying don't worry about being her friend?" Skylar Black:"Jenny, I can only do so much. If Angela doesn't want to be my friend I'm fine with that. but should she decide to reach out for my help I wouldn't turn her away. Aspen is a totured soul, once I feel that I've helped her get back to being happier with herself. Then and only then maybe could I reach out to Angela. Fact is I have a job to do saturday and I can't allow myself to wear my heart on my sleeve." Jenny Tull:"I really admire that about you. You do know that Jimmy Stryker may try to get fresh with you." Skylar Black:"I plan on only trying to be in the ring with Angela. I'll leave Johnny to deal with Jimmy. After all the two of them have a score to settle after what happened in the match with Johnny and the Rumbler." Jenny Tull:"That's a smart idea. Jimmy is an evil man." Skylar Black:"He's bitter that's for sure." Jenny Tull:"No doubt about that." [ As Jenny finishes that sentence Skylar is approached by a woman who is shaking from being nervous. Skylar reaches for her hands and stands up. As the woman has tears in her eyes.] Woman fan:"Skylar, You are such an example for all women out there. The world would be a better place if there were more women like you in it." [ Skylar smiles.] Skylar Black:"Awe, thank you...what's your name?" Woman fan:"My name is Ann." [ She started sobbing. As she handed Skylar some kool-aid packets.] Ann:"Here, I brought you this." [ Skylar looks down then looks at Jenny and giggles.] Skylar Black:"How adorable. She knows that I drink kool-aid that's so awesome! Guys come over here, if you please." [ Skylar motions for the cameras and stands next to Ann putting her arm around her shoulder.] Skylar Black:"Everyone this is Ann...Ann say hello to the viewers of AWA." [ Ann waves and turns red in the face.] Skylar Black:"And Ann did a very wonderful thing by bring me some kool-aid packets today." [ Skylar looks at Ann as Ann is wiping away tears.] Ann:"Oh don't have me on tv...I'm such a mess." Skylar Black:"But this is a good cry , right?" Ann:"Definately...You're the greatest!" [ Skylar hugs Ann then signs her photo after posing for a picture.] Ann:"Thanks so much, and kick butt Skylar..We belive in you." Skylar Black:"Thank you...Keep cheering for me, it keeps me going." [ Jenny stands up and takes the microphone.] Jenny Tull:"And there you have folks. A little glimpse into the life of our new busy and beloved Fem-X champion. Hopefully this girl is here to stay. I'm, Jenny Tull." [ Jenny takes her seat next to Skylar as she gives peanut a treat, and the cameras turn off.] Match Talk: I have a job to do saturday against Jimmy Stryker and Angela Jameson. And as nice as I maybe I have to put my personal feelings aside. No matter what personal issues each have I can't allow it to interfer. Angela: You are a very remarkable woman. All that's going on and yet your passion for wrestling is still inside you. It's like a fire that burns from with in. I know that you said I'm too happy, but a little secret life is too short. Why should we go through it being miserable and wearing drab colors. I try to make it a habit to live everyday as if it were my last. That my sound a little morbid, but at the same time I'm experience things that even I never imagined. My advice to you is once you confront the demons from your past. Sit down with a big pint of rocky road, and cry your eyes out. A good cry allows your soul to breath. Once you do that I think that you'll feel a whole lot better and then you'll be able to reach your moment of clarity. I'm looking forward to facing you and to prove to you that I'm not just all smiles. That when I need to I can kick major butt. You know they have a place in downtown Boston called Filene's. That's where my friend Tracy lives. Anyway Tracy was getting married to a man named Dave. Unfortunately Dave made some major mistakes and the company he worked for went belly up. Needless to say Tracy's princess Diana wedding dream seemed to be over. That was until we found about Filene's and there once a year bridal madness sales. It's a sale where no dress in the store is above 50$. I'm talking dressed that would normally cost thousands. So Tracy and I put our nike's on and went. We fought, clawed and scratch any woman in site till she found and bought the perfect dress. She looked so beautiful on her wedding day, and the best part was she got the dress she wanted and it only cost her one broken manicured nail...My point? Never under estimate a woman who has gone to help her friend to find the perfect wedding dress, fighting off 300 pound women down in Filene's basement. I'm alot tougher than you may even think. Come Saturday you will find that out. Jimmy Stryker: What can I say about you? You almost appear to be beyond help. You have no respect for women, and have such twisted views of what you think men want. When Johnny hands you, your ass maybe you'll see what you are doing is wrong. The way you treat women is horrible. Women are beautiful flowers. We want to be looked at as beautiful and handled with gentle care. The only thing I can say is...I'll pray for you Jimmy.... And last Johnny Arnette...Finally Johnny, we get to be a team. I'm looking so forward to this you have no idea. We can be like Wonder Woman and Super Man. Together fighting side by side. It's no secret that I think you're wonderful and admire you greatly. I just hope that I don't let you down. All I know is that with your confidence, there's nothing I can't do. Let's kick some butt!
