Roleplay Title

[ The scene opens to a lovely southern home in Mississippi. More specifically the living room of AWA Fem-X champion Skylar Black. Skylar is no where to be seen just yet but as the camera zooms in to her home office desk a letter she is writing can be seen. The camera focuses on it and it reads as follows. ] Dear Johnny, I’m so sorry about our lost to Jimmy Striker and Angela Jameson. Just so you know I tried as hard as I possibly could. I wish there was something more that I could have done in order for us to come out with the win. I suppose that I still have a little more to learn. Luckily I’m very willing and nothing can beat a person with determination. And right now there isn’t anyone more determined than myself to prove to you how worthy I am. I do think that you’re putting up a blockade between us for what ever reason. I do wish that you would just let your guard down a bit to allow me to get to know you better. I really think that there are many things that we could teach each other. I know there are things that you can learn from me that your cruel cold friend Clayton Walker would never be able to teach you. I’m extending to you an invitation of friendship. If you are interested please meet me back stage at the entrance door where the employees park. That way I will know if you are willing to further anything with me. I really hope that you will consider this. I’m putting my heart on the line here hoping that maybe you might feel the same way. I look forward to knowing your answer. With Love, Skylar. [ Skylar almost on cue walks into the room with her dog peanut. Skylar is dressed in a pink dress and peanut has on a pink cab drivers hat with matching scarf. She puts peanut down on the desk and takes the letter sprays it with her perfume “sweet and innocent.” She then folds it up and puts it into the envelope. Skylar takes a deep breath and looks at peanut.] Skylar Black:”well peanut…here goes nothing. I have to let Johnny know how I’m feeling. I just hope he feels the same.” [ Peanut barks and Skylar nods.] Skylar Black:” I agree…I mean I am the AWA Fem-X Champion and Johnny is the kind of guy that seems to care about titles and wins and losses.” [ Skylar takes the letter and peanut then walks out her door and down the street to the mail box. Skylar drops the letter into the mail box and walks back home. As she walks into her house a thought suddenly hits her.] Skylar Black:”That’s it peanut! I know what I have to do know….” [ She pause as she pets peanut on the top of his head.] Skylar Black:”I need to make sure I remain the Fem-X Champion. Sure Brandi James gave this title to me. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to defend it successfully. I’ve already beaten Aspen who is a very tough girl. I need to make sure that I don’t lose to Tiffany Phoenix. That will show Johnny that I’m a winner, and I’m committed to the business he loves.” [ Skylar sets peanut down on the floor and he stands up on his back legs and barks. Skylar smiles and seems excited.] Skylar Black:”It’s the perfect plan!” [ She walks into the her kitchen to get a bottle of water from her fridge then walks back into her living room.] Skylar Black: “Now that’s all settled the question is how to do it.” [ Skylar sits on her sofa and peanut sits next to her. She takes a sip from her water then sets it on the table in front of her.] Skylar Black:”I’m sure Tiffany has her own reasons why she helped me get my win over Aspen the second time I faced Aspen. She was a former Fem-X title holder as well, and with a title does come a certain responsibility and source of power as well.” [ Skylar sighs] Skylar Black:”I just wish I knew what her angle was. I mean people just don’t go doing things like that for any reason. Especially when they’ve never met the person before that they are helping. Still I wish I could figure it out.” [ Skylar pauses again and begins to think about what reasons that Tiffany possibly could have had for helping her. Skylar shrugs her shoulders then gets up off the couch.] Skylar Black:”Oh well peanut no point in trying to figure it out. What’s done and done as far as that is concerned. At least now I know what I have to do in order to win Johnny’s heart. And I’m certainly not going to get it done sitting around here….C’Mon peanut we need to change into our work clothes. We have a match to prepare for!” [ Skylar walks out of the room with peanut following her as the scene fades out.] Match Talk: Tiffany Phoenix…You’re a very clever girl I have to hand that to you. You’ve been out of the Fem-X picture actually the AWA picture since Rick left you for Brandi. And in one single gesture of good faith from you, you have landed yourself right smack dab in the thick of things yet again. Good for you girl! It’s nice to see that you’ve picked yourself up and realize that you need to live your life again. That Rick is not going to come back to you this time so you must move on. My question to you is this. Why not at a Pay Per View? Was it really so urgent for you to make yourself a presence in my match? I suppose so. Not that I’m upset or anything. I mean if It wasn’t for you I very well could have lost my match against Aspen. So before you think I’m ungrateful girl I would just like to say thank you. So Tiffany thank you for your help with Aspen. While I still would have liked to have the clean win, I’m starting to learn in this business that people don’t fight fair. That sometimes no matter how nice you are it doesn’t always pay off. which really gives me less faith in humanity and leave a really yucky feeling in my stomach but I’m slowly trying to get rid of it. You can’t dwell on the bad as long as you’ve done your best and worked hard. That’s what I at least try to tell myself. Sort of makes it a bit easier to tolerate some of the bad things I have been seeing going on here. Saturday will be my time to try to prove to everyone especially Johnny Arnette that I’m not just a flash in the pan but I’m here to say. You have your reasons for wanting to be in this match and now I know what my reason is for trying so hard to make sure that no one takes the Fem-X title from my waist. Tiffany come adrenaline we will walk into the rings and become each others opponent. Hopefully afterward that won’t destroy our chances of possibly being friends..Godd luck!
