For those of you who are unfamiliar with Seth, it would be easy to assume he’s just like all the other young rookies who come and go as often as you change your underwear. After all, with his performance thus far it’s hard to believe he’s a former Heavyweight champion. Six matches in and he’s only won half, not a very good start. For those of you who are familiar with Seth, it would be easy to assume you are very disappointed. He’s been pretty successful in his two and a half year professional career, though most would hardly call it a career at this point. Many people think that, being only twenty-three at the time, he was too young for the responsibilities of being on top of a federation. Truth be told, they are right. Nothing can prepare you for the pressure of having an entire federation on your shoulders and nipping at your heels at the same time, especially when you’re still green to the business. Although it was a short reign, spanning only a month, he learned a very valuable lesson - glass is the enemy. Seth understands the responsibility that comes with being in the spotlight. And although he was unprepared, he enjoyed every minute of it. Even for a moment, nothing beats being able to call yourself the best at what you do. Is Seth ready for it once again? Looking at him right now it doesn’t look like it, but you know it’s in the back of his mind. All it takes is three seconds. Three seconds for everyone to look at you in the utmost respect or the deepest of loathing. But that’s once you make it that far, the road there is a completely different story…
--Start Roleplay-- The scene opened up outside the suburban household of Seth and Jalie Thomas. The street was completely filled with booths, along with the front lawns of the other houses. There were hundreds of bums floating around from booth to booth. Inside the house there were bums everywhere as well. They were casually sat around with bottles upon bottles of alcohol being their usual loud obnoxious selves. In the back yard Nick was standing next to the big barbeque with a pile of food on the ground next to him. The pool was filled with bums, which was now a dark brown rather than a nice clear blue. The scene switched to Seth and Jalie’s bedroom. They were still cuddled up in bed until loud music was heard coming from outside. Seth rolled over and looked at the alarm clock.
--Seth Thomas-- Jalie rolled over and pulled the blankets up over her head. Seth slid out from under them and put his pants on. He crawled on the bed over Jalie, pulled the blankets down and gave her a kiss on the head then put them back over her. He got out of bed once more and left the room. He went downstairs and was surprised to find bums everywhere.
--Seth Thomas-- The bums stopped what they were doing and looked at him.
--Random Bum #1-- Seth walked over and grabbed the bottle of whisky from his hand and got a dirty look for it.
--Seth Thomas-- Seth pointed to the front door and the bums slowly cleared out, mumbling as they went. Seth followed them to the door and was dumbfounded when he saw what was going on in the street.
--Seth Thomas-- Seth said to himself in confusion. He closed the door and walked into the kitchen. He grabbed the kettle off the stove and walked over to the sink. He began filling it up when he glanced out the window. His eyes shot wide when he realized what was going on in his back yard. He dropped the kettle in the sink and stormed out the patio door.
--Seth Thomas-- Nick turned his attention from the barbeque to Seth. He gave him a huge smile and waved with his oven-mitted hand.
--Hobo Nick--

--Hobo Nick--
--Seth Thomas-- Nick flipped the random items on the grill and shrugged. He could tell Seth wasn’t amused in the slightest, but didn‘t really care.
--Hobo Nick-- Seth tilted his head for a moment, not sure what Nick was talking about. Suddenly it hit him, and he turned to find the pool filled with bums in their underwear, swimming in dark brown water.
--Seth Thomas-- Seth turned to Nick pulling on two big handfuls of his hair.
--Seth Thomas--
--Hobo Nick-- Nick pointed behind Seth. Seth turned around to find two nearly seven foot bums with their arms crossed glaring down at him. He cracked a nervous smile as he looked them up and down.
--Security Bum #1--
--Hobo Nick-- Seth turned to Nick, baffled by what he said.
--Seth Thomas-- Seth was grabbed by the security bums before he had the chance to lunge at Nick.
--Security Bum #2-- They dragged him around the house to the front lawn. They lifted him into the air and threw him into the middle of the street. Seth tumbled into a booth that was showcasing raw fish. The impact caused the fish on display to fall all over Seth. He laid there for a moment holding his back and head, covered in fish juice. The owner of the booth came around and started yelling at him. The scene switched back into the Thomas’ bedroom. Jalie had finally gotten out of bed and dressed. With her eyes half open, she made her way downstairs. She stumbled into the kitchen where she found the kettle in the sink and the water still running. When she went over to turn the tap off she noticed what was going on outside. Her eyes, too, shot open and she went outside to investigate. There, she found Nick standing by the barbeque with a pleather boot in his hand.
--Hobo Nick-- Nick saw Jalie approaching him from the corner of his eye and greeted her with a smile.
--Hobo Nick--
--Jalie Thomas--
--Hobo Nick-- Nick quickly lost eye contact and turned back to the barbeque.

--Jalie Thomas--
--Hobo Nick-- Nick casually went back to tending to the grill. Jalie stood there a moment with her head tilted in confusion, still not fully awake. Finally realizing what happened, she picked up the pleather boot Nick was holding earlier and pasted it across the back of his head.
--Hobo Nick-- Jalie hit him with it again, stuck her tongue out and walked back into the house. She went into the living room and found Jay sprawled out on the couch.
--Jalie Thomas--
--Jay Dumas--
--Jalie Thomas-- She sat in the recliner next to the couch and picked up the remote. Seth stumbled in the front door and Jalie and Jay immediately gagged.
--Jay Dumas-- Seth didn’t look amused in the slightest. Without saying a word, he made his way up the stairs. Jalie and Jay both pulled their shirts up over their noses as the stench of raw fish lingered in the air. Jalie turned the television on and flipped through the channels.
--Jalie Thomas-- The two watched the birds-eye view of the house on the local news station. Media choppers hovered above and police cars surrounded the large gathering in the neighbourhood. Apparently nobody appreciated that the bums temporarily closed off the street. The two continued to sit there and watch in awe of their house actually being on television. Jay raised an eyebrow and lifted himself off the couch.
--Jalie Thomas--
--Jay Dumas-- He put his shoes on and went out the front door. Jalie watched the television intently as Jay made his way out onto the front lawn. He laid on the ground, lifted his legs up next to his head and slipped his pants down. He laid there with his ass, and a little more, exposed to the cameras in the sky as Jalie watched on, torn between laughter and disgust. Finally, a group of officers made their way over and began beating Jay with their night sticks. The scene faded out with Jalie giggling uncontrollably. ------------- The scene re-opened later in the Thomas’ back yard where Seth was cleaning out the pool. He wasn’t amused, and would have Nick do this seeing as it was his fault, but he conveniently wasn’t to be found. Neither was Jay for that matter, though he had nothing to do with it. And there was a very good possibility of him being tortured by his sister. Seth climbed out of the pool, finally completed with his task and took a look around the rest of the yard. Needless to say, it was trashed. He let out a sigh, shook his head and turned around. He picked up a trash bag and went to turn back around and smacked his face on a clunky video camera.
--Seth Thomas-- He rubbed his forehead vigorously as he looked back and forth between a lanky guy in a suit and a man hidden behind a camera.
--Seth Thomas-- The men look at one another not sure on how to respond.
--Guy Reporter--
--Seth Thomas-- Seth snickered.
--Guy Reporter--
--Seth Thomas-- Seth covered his mouth in an attempt to hide his on going snickering, but failed miserably. Guy looked annoyed as he approached Seth. The cameraman got set up and the interview got underway.
--Guy Reporter-- Guy was interrupted by Seth snickering once again. He cried out in frustration.
--Guy Reporter--
--Seth Thomas-- It took a minute before Seth was able to stop enough for them to continue.
--Guy Reporter-- Seth rolled his eyes.
--Guy Reporter-- I’m not sure what to think right now. I haven’t seen a whole lot from him so far, so I don’t have a whole lot to go on. He’s lost two of his three matches here. Granted he was planted with brass knucks at Civil Warfare, but his only win came off an injured Auroa. It shows that he is quite the opportunist, but it doesn’t do much for his overall talent. He’s not going to go far unless he can pull his weight and not wait for his opponent to hand him the match. All be it I haven’t been the personification of perfection around here either. After coming off that count-out with Adonis last week, I’m looking to get back on the right track. And I’m going to begin with a little surprise for Adonis.

--Seth Thomas-- Seth whistled twice and went about his business, leaving the two men looking a little nervous. A rather large dog emerges from the house and stands on the porch. He spots the two strange men and gives off a low growl. Guy and the cameraman very slowly made their way toward the side of the house with Brosco’s eyes fixed on them. Guy couldn’t take it anymore and took off. This set Brosco off and he chased the two men around the side of the house. The scene faded out. |
