POWER - Wrsetlers using this style are usually hulking monsters who are heavier than others and use mostly moves that accentuate their strength, such as powerbombs for example. Batista and Big Show are wrestlers who use the power style to their advantage.



TECHNICAL - A technical wrestler is more likely to use his or her mind rather than brawn, choosing to use tactics to weaken opponents to the point of victory. Bret Hart and Chris Benoit are two well known technical wrestlers.



HIGH FLYING - High Flying is a general description of moves that are quick, speedy and mostly executed off the ropes or turnbuckles, as seen by such luchadors as Psicosis and Rey Mysterio Jr for example.



HARDCORE - Hardcore wrestling involves no rules fighting and both weapons and pinfalls counting anywhere in and around the building. This style can be confused with brawling but is completely different as hardcore wrestlers can use technical wrestling aswell as using weapons. Hardcore wrestlers include the likes of Sandman, Raven and Tommy Dreamer.



BRAWLING - Brawlers are usually wrestlers who aren't using highly complicated submission moves or technical wizardry in the ring, instead relying on punches, kicks and general takedowns, such as shoulder blocks, clotheslines and powerslams. John Cena is a good example of a brawler.



SUBMISSIONS - Submissions specialists generally initiate moves that force their opponent to tap out, working on one limb for the duration of the match until locking in a submission hold to win the match. The best examples of submissions wrestling are Ken Shamrock and Gail Kim.



MARTIAL ARTS - This style is based on mostly kicks from various martial arts techniques. Anyone using this style are more likely to strike more times than grappling and strikes will be performed usnig the legs and more specifically, the feet. Two examples of wrestlers using this style could be Low Ki or Rob Van Dam.



ALL ROUND - The all round style is one in which several of the above syles are meshed and the person using this blends submissions with high flying for example. A person using the all round style is knowledgable in various types of westling, one example of this being Chris Jericho, who combines technical wrestling with some high flying and submissions wrestling.
