[The lighting is dim. One lamp in the background and one on an oak side table right next to the couch. Its been days since he last slept. The night time is like purgatory to him. He relives moments in his life that most people cringe at. That fall keeps him resting as he has had back spasms since first Redemption. The meds have been exchanged for cash. The money is lying on side table. Marlin hasn't moved from a sitting position on a navy blue couch. His eyes are baggier then Master P's pants at the Source Awards. Yet, He is smiling. He adjusts the way is sitting. A small grimace comes on his face and his eyes bunch up. The grimace is soon replaced by a grin.]
It happened. I gave the world something to look open eyed about. The flashes started as I started my jump. I hurled through the air doing a twisting 360. Then I landed with my leg draped over River Styx. I was barely able to cover him since my back felt like Michael Flatley was doing his river dance with football cleats . I'm pretty happy about it. I mean, it'll get me on a magazine or two from the stunt. Though, I could care less about it. I'm happy about the constant pain in my back. It helps me stay clear minded.
[He wince smiles again. ]
