It's a packed house as we get ready for this week's edition of Overdrive. We hear "Coming Undone" by Korn as we see images of Jack Spade, Frank Merritt, Tommy Purr, Hoshi Yakamoto, Halloween Jack, and 6Pac Dudley before we head to ringside where Ricky Simms is once again with Henry Lesher to call the action.

6Pac Dudley vs. Kira Yakamoto

"Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac Dudley makes his way out onto the stage. He then quickly makes his way down the ramp with the Aerial title belt raised high above his head before looking into the camera and telling us that this title is his and is going nowhere. He then pulls himself onto the apron before tossing his belt to the referee and then he steps through the ropes into the ring. He tests the ropes while his music fades and Kira's starts to play. She comes out onto the stage where the crowd gives her a mixed response and then she runs down the ramp before sliding under the bottom rope into the ring where 6Pac greets her with kicks to the ribs before she can get to her feet while referee Mark Davis calls for the bell to get the action officially underway.

Ricky Simms - This is a great way to start tonight's event.

Henry Lesher - It's the final death throws of another failed Shannon Skanes led company, folks. Tune in while you can! This is a joke, Rick and you know it.

6Pac stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a dropkick that sends her down to the mat. 6Pac then stands her up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a shoulder block there before he then gives her a spine buster to the mat. 6Pac then hooks the leg for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Kira Yakamoto. 6Pac then stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when she ducks it and then she gives 6Pac a back cracker before she rolls him into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac who then rolls himself out to the floor to regroup.

Ricky Simms - Good back and forth action.

Henry Lesher - Whatever, I am working on my resume. I wonder if BLPW is hiring.

Ricky Simms - Uhhhh, not sure they're doing so well there, Doc.

Kira rolls herself out to the floor and starts exchanging punches and kicks with 6Pac. 6Pac then whips Kira shoulder first into the ring steps and then rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. 6Pac stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a backdrop to the mat. 6Pac then goes to the ropes and quickly makes his way to the top while the crowd cheers him on. He then leaps off and lands a 450 splash onto Kira before he hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! 6Pac looks sharp in dispatching Kira Yakamoto tonight!

Ricky Simms - Very strong showing for 6Pac tonight.

Henry Lesher - Like anyone cares. Maybe UWE is hiring.

Ricky Simms - I don't believe they're active either.

Henry Lesher - Well, that's probably for the best.

As 6Pac leaves the ring, we look backstage where Shannon Skanes is with Crystal Braun.

Crystal Braun - I understand you have an announcement to make.

Shannon Skanes - Next week will see the return of the Rumble. That said.... it won't be this band of merry men who are in it. In fact, the nature of this match will be hidden from those who are not in the know because I have accepted a challenge laid down this week. Steve Hawkins, bring yourself and six other people. I will bring myself and six other people. We are going to have an old fashioned CWA Rumble.

Crystal Braun - But I thought...

Shannon Skanes - Crystal, I have been running the wrestling world since 1984. Don't ever assume anything with me. You will assume wrong. If you see Hawkins, tell him I look forward to making him look back again.

Shannon storms off and we return to the ring.

Gerard Angelo vs. Bombshell

"Failure By Designer Jeans" by From First To Last begins to play and the crowd boos as Gerard Angelo makes his way out onto the stage. He looks around at the crowd and then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He tests the ropes as his music then fades and we hear "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears and the crowd cheers as Bombshell comes out onto the stage. She then makes her way down the ramp quickly to ringside before she does a lap around the ring. She then pulls herself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring which then allows referee Casey Braun to call for the bell and get the action officially underway.

Ricky Simms - No love lost here.

Henry Lesher - You know, this place is a giant soap opera. I'm going to send my resume to ULW, I think.

Ricky Simms - I don't know, Doc, kind of wasting time there.

Gerard locks up with Bombshell and then shoves her into the nearest corner where he then gives her a series of kicks to the chest. Gerard then gives Bombshell a snap mare to the middle of the ring where he quickly applies a sleeper hold, a smile crossing his face. The referee checks on Bombshell and sees that she is fading, though her arm stays raised and she reaches towards the ropes. The crowd cheers her on as she again lunges for the ropes. Gerard fights to keep her away from the ropes while she makes a third lunge and manages to grab the middle rope to force the break. Gerard is reluctant to release her, but he does so and then seems upset with himself for Bombshell being able to grab the ropes. Gerard then stands Bombshell up and then gives her a snap suplex to the mat.

Ricky Simms - Gerard has the early advantage in this one.

Henry Lesher - I cannot properly communicate to you how little I care.

Gerard stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a backdrop to the mat. He then climbs to the second rope and then gives Bombshell a double axe handle smash across the back before she has a chance to get to her feet. Gerard then gives her a side Russian leg sweep and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Gerard Angelo then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a backdrop to the mat and then lands an elbow across the chest on her before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell again. Gerard has a few words with the referee about the speed of the count.

Ricky Simms - Ger thought he had the three count there.

Henry Lesher - Maybe I can do some MMA announcing. I am more entertaining than Joe Rogan.

Ricky Simms - Just stop it.

Gerard stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and goes for a dropkick, but she side steps it and then lands a somersault leg drop across the throat on the fallen Gerard. Bombshell goes for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Bombshell then stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a spinning heel kick that sends him back down to the mat. Bombshell then goes to the ropes and quickly makes her way to the top. She then leaps off, going for a flying leg drop onto Gerard only to miss when he rolls out of the way. Gerard then uses the ropes to quickly get to his feet. He poses for the crowd and then he spots Jack Spade in the front row. Jack stands and the crowd cheers.

Ricky Simms - No one knew he would be here tonight!

Henry Lesher - No one cared. He is the least cared for champ since the 80s when everything sucked.

Gerard has a few words for Jack Spade and appears to call him out while Bombshell stands behind him. Jack looks like he might step over the railing, but Bombshell taps Gerard on the shoulder and, when he turns around, she levels him with a Bitch Kick to the chin that sends Gerard to the mat where she goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Bombshell scores the win with an assist by Jack Spade.

Ricky Simms - Gerard allowed himself to be distracted there.

Henry Lesher - Everyone sucks. They all suck. This sucks.

Bombshell leaves the ring while Jack Spade jumps over the guard railing, rolls himself into the ring and then he starts laying a beating on Gerard Angelo. He stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a spear to the mat. Jack Spade then rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and then he high fives fans on his way around the ring before he then makes his way up the ramp while we look backstage where Ray Dees is with Steve Hawkins.

Ray Dees - Steve, your response to Shannon?

Steve Hawkins - Look, I put the challenge out there. If you think for one moment that I am going to back down or get scared now, you're more of a loser than I thought you were. Now, I don't know that is even possible since you're pretty pathetic, Ray, but as this CWA takes on water and the bow sinks into the blue, I am ready for one big final battle. The CWA Rumble, the original, will steal the show.

Ray Dees - What is your reaction to Gerard Angelo being attacked by Jack Spade moments ago?

Steve Hawkins - You cannot pay me enough to care, Ray. Next week, I show the world why I am the greatest of all time. The rest are just also rans.

He leaves and we head back to the action.

Tommy Purr vs. Frank Merritt.

Backstage we see Tommy Purr and Frank Merritt are already brawling, not waiting for their match to officially start. They exchange rights and lefts, followed by Frank slamming Tommy's head into the wall. Frank then picks Tommy up and slams him to the floor where he puts the boots to him. Frank then stands Tommy up only to take a jawbreaker from Tommy who then gives Frank a spear into the wall.

Ricky Simms - It looks like the brawl is on.

Henry Lesher - Better than that, I finally give a damn about something tonight.

Tommy pulls Frank from the locker room into the hallway and then picks him up and slams him onto a table. Tommy then climbs up onto the table, stands Frank up and then takes a head butt from Frank who then gives Tommy a black hole slam through the table. Frank then stands over Tommy with a smile on his face, but that smile is over when he is clotheslined to the floor by Dex Cooper while Rex charges in and starts putting the boots to Tommy Purr.

Ricky Simms - The tag team champions are here to send a message tonight!

Henry Lesher - They apparently won't make a face to face challenge.

Dex whips Tommy into a nearby closet and then shuts and barricades the door with a chair. Rex then picks Frank up and he and Dex give Frank a 3D to the floor before they then stand, high five one another and head off while security finally arrives a few moments too late to make any difference.

Ricky Simms - It looks like the tag team champs have added another wrinkle heading into Terror in the Aisles!

Henry Lesher - Ah, yes, the event that has sunk the CWA once before and will probably sink it again.

We then fade to black on a shot of Frank Merritt, bleeding from the forehead and nearly out cold from the attack made by the tag team champions. Tommy Purr is freed from the closet by security and he charges after the tag team champions, which is the last thing we see for this week.
