CWA Warriors January 20th, 2007

We hear "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana and see images of Noah Skanes, Vesuvius, Arizona, Steve Hawkins, Stan Smith, Myst and Xandra before we head to ringside where Sammy Jo Johnson and Steve Blake are all set to call the action. Before they have a chance to get things started, we hear "Dirt on the Grave" by Black Label Society and we see two unknown wrestlers with title belts over their shoulders, on their way to the ring. There is little reaction from the fans as they make their way down the ramp and then slides under the bottom rope into the ring. One of them then signals for a microphone.

Jack Carter - We is here because we is the best tag team ever. Say hello to the Brothers of Destruction.

Masa Onita - We're the Brotherhood of the Damned.

Jack Carter - Yeah, a rip on the Brothers of Destruction and a bad one. Now, we came here because we heard the CWA was extreme! We are the SCWF tag champs! We have been the champs for years.

Steve Blake - Oh God, I heard about these idiots. Where's security?

Masa Onita - See, we are here to challenge any CWA tag team to try and take these away from us!

There is a pause. We then hear "Two of Hearts" by Stacy Q and the crowd explodes as Ingee and Shengee Shmelky are led towards the ring by the legendary Adam West, complete with his Batman costume. Carter and Onita laugh inside the ring while a referee makes his way into the ring and asks them if this is official. They agree and referee Mark Davis tells the Shmelky Brothers that they are in a tag title match this week. Shengee jumps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring where Jack Carter is smiling and shaking his head.

Shmelky Brothers vs. Brotherhood of the Generic

The bell sounds and Shengee circles Carter who continues to shake his head. Shengee then dives and takes the feet out from under Carter and then Shengee locks in an ankle lock. Carter screams in pain as the one hundred and ten pound ball of fire Shengee maintains his lock on the ankle. Carter reaches for the ropes. Onita tries to step into the ring to interfere, but instead stumbles and falls out to the floor. Jack Carter then taps out and the referee calls for the bell.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Wow, these Brotherhood guys suck.

Steve Blake - Well, no one can really defeat the power of Adam West's boys here.

The title belts are handed to Adam West and Ingee dances on the floor while Onita gets to his feet and tries to figure out what has happened. Inside the ring, Jack Carter is actually crying while the Shmelky Brothers leave the ringside area with the SCWF tag team titles raised high above their heads and the crowd is exploding with pride as their tiny heroes have become champions against what might be the worst tag team that the CWA has ever seen.

Steve Blake - This feud goes back four years and it looks like Brotherhood is worse now than they were then and that's saying something.

Sammy Jo Johnson - How did they ever win gold?

Steve Blake - They pick weak companies and they get belts and then refuse to admit when they lose them. It makes you wish they were dead.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I don't even know them and I wish they were dead.

As the Shmelky Brothers take their newly won title belts out to the backstage area, we look outside the arena where Clayton Fear is standing between Danny Dixon and Jimmy Jack.

Clayton Fear - All week, I have been asked why I did it. I have been asked why I turned my back on my so called friends and changed sides. Why did I abandon Calvin Kool? See, I was dealing poorly with the fact that Danny here beat me three times. Three times I failed to beat him and I blamed him. When Battle of the Warriors took place and I watched Danny valiantly fight to stay in the tournament, I realized something. I was teaming myself up with cowards. I may not be a member of the Sensation Seven, but I am going to do my best to become the champion I was meant to be.

Danny Dixon - See, Calvin, you are baffled as to why wrestlers leave you and move on. Look at the facts. You don't manage champions. You manage people into the ground. You were managing this man into the ground and now he escaped. Scarecrow is fading fast and Gravity will lose the tag titles tonight. He won't just lose them because our boys from the Sensational Seven are better. He will lose them because he is with you, Mister Kool. That is how it works. You manage them and they lose.

Clayton Fear - And I am all done losing. I am going to be a champion yet. I dropped some dead weight that was holding me back and saw what true wrestling stars are all about.

That said, we return to the ring.

Steve Hawkins vs. Zack McCracken

"Beautiful Stranger" by Madonna plays as Zack McCracken makes his way down the ramp with a smile on his face. He then grabs the microphone from ring announcer Jan Hawkins at ringside.

Zack McCracken - My love, Felicity, will see that I am worth my weight in gold when I win gold from Steve Hawkins, the man this little tramp was dumb enough to marry. If those anemic Shmelkys can win gold, so can I.

Jan Hawkins - What did you just call me?

Zack McCracken - My dear, I didn't call you anything that hasn't been said backstage a number of times. Steve Hawkins clearly fell off the wagon and woke up married to you. As they say, he went to bed at two with a ten and at ten he woke up with a two.

Jan slaps Zack across the face and he answers with a right hook to the chin. Zack then stands over her and tells her that this is all her fault. We then hear "Space Lord" by Monster Magnet and Steve Hawkins races down the ramp, still in his street clothes as he runs around the ring and gives Zack a clothesline to the floor. He then rolls Zack into the ring before rolling himself into the ring and referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell. Steve Hawkins picks Zack up over his shoulder and then runs him face first into the corner buckle before giving him a spinning power slam to the mat. Hawkins then places a cowboy boot to the throat on Zack while the fans cheer.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Zack's obsession with becoming the champ to the point of insanity.

Steve Blake - No argument with that statement from me. Zack challenges Hawkins which is fine, but knocking his wife down is a low shot that could cost him his career.

Steve Hawkins stands Zack up and whips him off the ropes and then gives him a big boot to the chest. Hawkins then climbs to the second rope in the corner and waits for Zack to stand and then leaps off, grabs him into a headlock and gives him a spinning neck breaker to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! With that, Hawkins ends the match.

Sammy Jo Johnson - So much for Zack's dream.

Steve Blake - I have a feeling Felicity will never go back to him anyway and this match rules it out completely.

Hawkins leaves the ring and checks on Jan. She nods her head and says she is fine. Hawkins hugs her and then we look to Blair Drake who appears to be sitting in his living room and he doesn't look impressed.

Blair Drake - See, when Battle of the Warriors took place a week ago, I believed that I was finally going to have my chance to best Shannon Skanes. Instead, that idiot Stan Smith gets involved and he loses the match. Stan, you then recruited Terminator and Killer to try to destroy him in a plot that we all know could never work. Smith, you're a terrible wrestler and you're a lousy human being.

Blair gets up from his couch and leads the camera crew to his living room wall where a picture hangs of he and Steve Hawkins holding the tag titles high above their heads.

Blair Drake - That's what champions look like, Smith. You can recruit wrestlers who are well past their prime all you want. The next time we meet, I will take you apart for costing me my chance for glory at Battle of the Warriors 2007. You can bring Lurch and Cousin It along if you want. They won't help you, but if that's what it takes to make you feel safe, so be it. Soon, you'll see why I am a true legend and you will never even come close. Hell, you're less of a man than your sister Kathy. See you soon, Stan.

The scene fades to black and we return to the ring.

VS.

"All Hallow's Eve" by Type O Negative plays as Orlock is led onto the stage by The Surgeon. The crowd cheers as the monster stands on the stage and stares out into space, slient as always. Orlock then starts down the ramp only to be attacked with a chop block to the ramp by Samson who is not willing to wait for the match to start. Samson then picks Orlock up and slams him down to the ramp. Samson then looks towards the booing crowd and smiles, then takes a bow before them. Samson drags Orlock down the ramp and then slams his head into the guard railing before standing him up and rolling him into the ring. As Samson steps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring, we see Felicity making her way down the ramp with a wide grin on her face.

Sammy Jo Johnson - She's a real piece of work.

Steve Blake - She's with Samson until he fails and then she's gone.

The bell sounds to officially starts the match as Samson stands Orlock up and whips him off the ropes. Samson then gives Orlock a shoulder block, but the monster doesn't go down. Instead, Orlock gives Samson a clothesline to the mat and then gives him a two handed choke on the mat which brings the crowd to life. Orlock then places the throat of Samson over the bottom rope and chokes him with it, again drawing cheers from the crowd. Orlock then stands Samson up and then throws him over the top rope and out to the floor where Felicity goes to check on him. Orlock then steps over the top rope onto the apron. Orlock then delivers a double axe handle smash to the back on Samson and then whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Looks like they underestimated Orlock here.

Steve Blake - He never really got on any kind of roll in AW, but the switch to the CWA might be just what the doctor ordered.

Orlock stands Samson up and rolls him into the ring. Felicity then calls out to Orlock. The monster turns towards Felicity and cocks his head to the side with curiosity. Felicity winks at Orlock and motions him towards her. He takes a step towards her, but she takes a step back. We then see Surgeon step in between Orlock and Felicity and he explains to the monster that she is trying to help Samson here and he needs to ignore her. Orlock does not acknowledge what Surgeon advised other than to roll himself back into the ring where a now recovered Samson applies a cobra clutch sleeper while Surgeon is seen losing it outside the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Felicity is a master of distraction tonight.

Steve Blake - She got Orlock to watch her for a few moments and Samson was able to recover.

The referee checks on Orlock. It's clear that the monster is fading and his arm falls once. It then falls a second time. The referee then raises Orlock's arm a third time and it drops before he calls for the bell and Samson is announced as the winner which draws the ire of the crowd. Samson leaves the ring and bows to the fans once again before he starts up the ramp with a very happy Felicity close behind him. Surgeon is inside the ring and is shaking his head, vowing that this will be avenged. We then see Bruce Miller in a segment that was taped earlier today as he walks down a busy street, passing a lot of people on the sidewalk while he addresses us.

Bruce Miller - Looking back at last week, I see what a fool I was. Grogan boys, you got me. I admit it. Maybe your father is proud of your work. I don't know. Maybe you guys feel good about your cheap wins, one after the other. Maybe the shortcut is the way to go because you don't have the pure talent to stand alone? Now, here's the point I am trying to make. I didn't become a champion of the CWA with smoke amd mirrors. I didn't become a champion with tricks and by cheating. I got there with hard work and your father was one of the hardest working wrestlers I ever knew. Maybe you two take after your mother's side of the family? I really don't know.

Bruce stops and points to the Chilliwack court house, an impressive building by small town standards. It's a shining beacon to remind all that low cost housing is less of a priority that building a place to decide how long people should be in prison. Bruce points at the front door of the building.

Bruce Miller - In my hometown, there is a court house a lot like this one. I spent my time in it as well. I had my vices when I was a teenager and I didn't take anything seriously until they started threatening to bump me up to adult court. I called their bluff and I was here. What does this have to do with the Grogans? See, I have experience. I know that shortcuts may get you what you want, but they also mean a faster fall to the bottom. You boys are set for a fall. I was taking it easy on Sam up until last week. Now, knowing that there is a duo involved, you two just got bumped up to adult court. You're also facing the hanging judge, one that takes pride in his work. Your sentencing will come soon, my friends. Prepare for the maximum sentence.

Bruce then walks off as the scene fades to black and then we return to the ring.

Corina vs. Cordelia Parizi

"Buttons" by Pussycat Dolls plays as Corina steps out onto the stage and the crowd cheers her on as usual. She then starts down the ramp and gives out high fives to fans in the front rows. She stops at ringside and hands her diva title to the timekeeper before she pulls herself onto the apron and then leaps over the top rope into the ring. She then paces inside the ring as her music fades and then we hear "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette and Cordelia Parizi steps out onto the stage with Lydia Parizi close behind her. The crowd gives them the usual boos and it is once again interesting that their father, Tony Parizi, is nowhere to be seen at this time.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This does not look good for Corina.

Steve Blake - Myst saved her on December 23rd, but it's a month later and Myst is not here tonight.

Sammy Jo Johnson - And there are no Glamour Girls anymore either.

Cordelia stops at ringside and has a few words with Lydia before she pulls herself onto the apron. Cordelia then slowly steps through the ropes and tells referee Casey Braun to get Corina to back off. Corina takes a step back and then the referee calls for the bell and the match is underway. Cordelia moves in for a lock up with Corina, but Cordelia gives her a knee to the gut and then gives her a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Cordelia then stands Corina up, whips her into the nearest corner and then gives her a punch to the gut before giving her a double under hook suplex to the mat. Cordelia then applies a grapevine submission hold in the middle of the ring while her sister applauds from ringside. Corina refuses to submit to the hold, so the match continues on.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Corina is tough, but the deck is stacked against her tonight.

Steve Blake - I don't like her odds here.

Corina stretches her leg towards the ropes, pulls herself a little closer and then manages to hook the bottom rope with her foot to force the break. Cordelia does break the hold, but she doesn't let up. She gives Corina a series of forearm smashes to the jaw and then whips her off the ropes before giving her a clothesline to the mat. Cordelia then lands an elbow across the throat on Corina before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Corina. Lydia slaps the mat and asks the referee if she knows how to count to three. Casey gives Lydia a dirty look while Cordelia stands Corina up and again whips her off the ropes. Corina ducks the clothesline on this attempt and then lands a series of knife edge chops to the chest on Cordelia Parizi and then whips her off the ropes before she then gives her a dropkick to the mat. Corina then goes to the ropes and then quickly makes her way to the top. She lands a flying elbow to the chest on Cordelia from there and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Cordelia and the fans groan as they were certain that would end the match.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Both women proving that this division is not all fluff.

Steve Blake - It's a statement for the strength of the women in this company that the Diva title, meant for bra and panty matches, has turned into one fought for with real matches and real fights. Some thought the Gauntlet match last week was the best of the night on either show.

Corina stands Cordelia up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a monkey flip to the mat from there. Corina then goes to the ropes once again and makes her way to the top. Corina launches herself off the top, but she misses with a knee drop as Cordelia rolls herself out of the way. Cordelia then uses the ropes to quickly get to her feet. She stands Corina up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a backdrop to the mat. She then stands Corina up and whips her into the corner where she lands a shoulder block on the defending champ. Cordelia then sets Corina on the top rope and then climbs and sets for a superplex while Lydia applauds from ringside. Corina then gives Cordelia a knee to the chest and then seems to cinch in Cordelia, pick her up and then comes off the top rope and drives Cordelia face first to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I have not seen a Gordbuster since Arn Anderson retired and that one was off the top rope!

Steve Blake - Corina might have killed her!

Corina rolls Cordelia over for the pin. 1...2...3! Corina wins and retains her title tonight! She then quickly leaves the ring as Lydia slips in and looks for a sneak attack that isn't going to happen tonight. The crowd cheers as Corina then holds her belt high as she heads towards the back. Lydia checks on Cordelia who is out cold and Lydia vows revenge from the ring. Corina just laughs and waves to Lydia as she takes her belt backstage. We then see Ghostly Figure doing push ups in the gym. He slowly stands when he realizes that he is being filmed.

Ghostly Figure - You people have not seen me since I was force to vacate my Inter-Continental title two months ago. Let's get into why I had to give it up and why this masked star has been kept out of a CWA ring.

We then see an image of Ghostly Figure taking a brain buster inside the ring from Gravity. It's a slowed down shot and, when Figure's head hits the mat, it turns black and white before fading back to him inside the gym.

Ghostly Figure - I have been through rehab before. I have been through it many times, but this time was different. Gravity, you almost ended my career. If there had been further damage to my neck, I would be a former professional wrestler. You see, I know you have this great tag team run going with Caleb Knox, but your attack on me wasn't even in a title match. It was a match between myself and Arizona and you saw fit to get involved. I just want to let you know something. I don't forgive and I sure as hell don't forget. When I am well enough to return to a CWA ring, I will be right there in your face and ready to take you out. You won't know the date, but you'll wish you stayed out of my business, big man.

Figure then resumes his work out and we return to the ring.

New Sensations vs. Gravity/Caleb Knox

"New Sensation" by INXS plays as Sensational Seven members, Trevor Lang and Cody Anderson, step out onto the stage where the crowd cheers them on. The two of them high five each other and then make their way down the ramp with smiles on their faces and they tell the camera that tonight is their night. They then pull themselves onto the ring apron and debate about who should start the match. As Trevor Lang opts to start the match, their music fades and we hear "Stripped" by Rammstein and we see Gravity leading Caleb Knox out onto the stage where the crowd boos them. Gravity and Caleb hold their belts high and they stand on the stage for a few moments, taking in the energy of the crowd. They then make their way down the ramp and then make their way around the ring to their corner. Gravity then takes his place in their corner while Caleb steps through the ropes and into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Lang and Anderson, names we all associate with tag team wrestling in these parts, and the sons of Greg and Steve get their shots at becoming multiple time champions tonight.

Steve Blake - I never bet against any teaming of Anderson with Lang.

The bell sounds and Trevor Lang locks up with Caleb Knox to start the match. Caleb backs Trevor into the ropes. Caleb then whips Trevor off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Caleb then springs to his feet and stands Trevor up, whips him into a neutral corner and then gives him a backdrop to the mat from there while the crowd boos. Caleb nods his head as he stands Trevor up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Caleb then gives Lang a leg drop across the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Trevor Lang. Caleb stands Trevor up, whips him off the ropes, but this time Lang ducks a clothesline and then gives Caleb a reverse neck breaker to the mat. Lang then reaches for the tag. He lunges towards his corner while Caleb rolls to his and tags in Gravity. Gravity steps over the top rope, steps over to Lang and then pulls him away from his corner. Gravity then lands an elbow across the knee on Lang, then sets for and delivers another. Gravity then rolls Lang over and applies a Boston Crab on the challenger.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The champs are doing a good job here of isolating Lang from his corner.

Steve Blake - I will admit that Gravity and Caleb have kept the titles longer than I expected, but this is a real challenge from who I think are the best tag team in the business today.

Trevor Lang reaches for the ropes and pulls himself up from the mat while still in pain. He also refuses to submit as he crawls on his elbows towards the ropes. He then reaches out with his right hand and snags the bottom rope to force the break. Gravity breaks the hold, but then puts the boots to Lang. Lang rolls himself out of the ring for a breather, but Gravity drops and rolls right out after him. Gravity then picks Lang up and slams him down to the floor. Gravity then stands Lang up and whips him towards the steel corner post only to have Lang reverse it and he sends Gravity into the corner post instead. Lang then gives Gravity a German suplex to the floor. He then stands Gravity up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. Lang then goes to his corner and tags in Cody Anderson. Anderson enters the ring and gives Gravity a clothesline to the mat and then backdrops a charging Caleb Knox to the mat. Anderson then stands Gravity up and whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Looks like the challengers are on their game now.

Steve Blake - It's really difficult to slow these guys down when they get on a run like this.

Anderson then stands Gravity up and whips him to his corner where Trevor Lang gives Gravity a right hook to the jaw. Gravity staggers out of the corner and takes an inverted atomic drop from Cody Anderson who then tags in Lang. Lang leaps to the top rope and then lands the Doomsday Device on Gravity. Anderson then spears a charging Caleb Knox to the mat while Lang hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Anderson and Lang are once again the CWA tag team champions!

Sammy Jo Johnson - Looks like the champs are back.

Steve Blake - I called it. They are so damned fast and so smart that once they get on a run, it is over.

We then see Terminator standing on top of a high rise building, a smile on his face.

Terminator - People are wondering why I teamed up with Stan Smith, why Killer and I decided to attack Shannon Skanes. See, the Skanes family has run this company for decades. In 1987, it was Shannon who ran the show and now it's his son. The title never strays far from that family, but they are not as good as people think they are. See, what it comes down to is fear on the part of wrestlers who simply don't want to challenge the place in history of the Skanes family. I am going to change all of that.

Terminator holds up one penny and the camera zooms in on it while he laughs.

Terminator - A penny is useless. It's almost worthless and yet from this height, it could kill someone if I drop it. Think of Stan Smith as this penny. He may not appear to be a threat, but once he has his opening and he gains some momentum, he is a dangerous individual who might knock your damned head off. Shannon simply pulled off another fluke win last week and I knew it. Killer knew it. We both know what Shannon is worth in this business. We both know his son isn't worth anything more than that. For you two, the pennies will fall and you won't know when they might hit you. You won't hear it coming. You'll be on your way and having a normal evening and then we will ruin it for you. TKO is set to once again become a premier team, one that scares everyone on sight and the fear ends in a three count for those who face us. Be as ready as you can be. We'll see you all again real soon.

Terminator laughs and tosses the penny towards the ground, He then whistles as he walks away before the penny hits the ground or anything else on the way down. We fade out and head back to the ring.

VS.

The crowd cheers as "Mine Teil" by Rammstein plays and signals the entrance of Vesuvius, but the big man comes out already fighting with Arizona. They battle on the stage as the entrance music abruptly stops. Arizona lands a knife edge chop to the chest on Vesuvius. Vesuvius then lands a knife edge chop of his own and then gives Arizona an eye gouge. Arizona answers with a knee to the gut on Vesuvius. Arizona then gives Vesuvius a snap suplex to the steel stage. He then stands Vesuvius up and sets him for another, but Vesuvius reverses it and gives Arizona a snap suplex down onto the steel.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This match is all about hatred.

Steve Blake - This isn't a match. This is a street fight.

Vesuvius and Arizona get to their feet and start trading rights and lefts. Arizona then gives Vesuvius an inverted atomic drop and then gives him a clothesline to the steel stage. Arizona then puts the boots to Vesuvius with a sadistic smile on his face. Arizona then stands Vesuvius up and whips him over the edge of the stage. Vesuvius manages to grab the arm of Arizona and pulls him down to the floor as well. The two men lay in a heap on the floor while the crowd chants "Holy shit."

Sammy Jo Johnson - These two men are trying to kill each other.

Steve Blake - They're both monsters and the fans eat it up every time they square off against each other.

Arizona slowly gets to his feet and then gives Vesuvius a kick to the ribs. Arizona then stands Vesuvius up and takes a thumb to the eye from the mountain man who then whips Arizona into the steel guard railing. Vesuvius then picks up Arizona and drops him on the steel guard railing, his throat getting caught on the steel and snapping his head back. The crowd cheers as Vesuvius then boot chokes Arizona, but the cheers change to boos when we see Lorenzo Cortez, Scarecrow and Gravity charging out to attack Vesuvius. The three of them whip Vesuvius into the railing and then takes turns putting the boots to him.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This was a set up by Arizona.

Steve Blake - Looks like Calvin Kool's men have grown in number this week.

Gravity slams Vesuvius' face into the steel railing. The members of Calvin's Army then high five each other only to have their celebration interrupted when Orlock and Kindred charge in, both of them holding chairs and swinging them at anyone within reach. Calvin's Army backs off and the crowd cheers as Orlock and Kindred stand next to their fallen leader and dare Calvin's men to try an attack now.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Anarchy Inc. runs off Calvin's Army, but the damage has been done.

Steve Blake - There will be hell to pay for this one.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Tune in next week for another edition of CWA's Warriors.

We end the show with a shot of Orlock and Kindred side by side, both looking quite psychotic while "Mine Teil" by Rammstein plays us out.
