March 3rd, 2007

It's another packed house as Chilliwack gets ready to host the first ever CWA Overdrive. The crowd is anxious for the action to start as we hear "Coming Undone" by Korn and see images of Noah Skanes, Shannon Skanes, Bruce Miller, Scavenger, Vesuvius, Tough Eagle, Steve Hawkins, Corina and Missy before we head to ringside where Ricky Simms and Steve Blake are once again all set to call tonight's action.

Ricky Simms - We are only a few short weeks away from Backdraft!

Steve Blake - You know, when I heard they were going to put on a pay per view in March, I was ecstatic. Now here we are watching Overdrive with the CWA name on it and you really get the feeling that this company is on its way to new heights.

VS.

"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath plays as Arizona and Gravity are led out onto the stage by Calvin Kool where they get a strong and negative reaction from the packed house. The crowd boos them as they make their way down the ramp towards the ring. Gravity then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps over the top rope into the ring while Arizona takes his place in their corner. Their music then fades and we hear "Mother" by Danzig and the fans cheer as Night Dweller and The Ghostly Figure make their way onto the stage. Figure wastes no time making his way down the ramp and then slides under the bottom rope into the ring where the referee calls for the bell as Gravity puts the boots to the masked hero.

Ricky Simms - This is a rare appearance by Night Dweller tonight.

Steve Blake - We haven't seen him since Battle of the Warriors and here he is fighting along side Ghostly Figure.

Gravity stands Figure up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Figure ducks it and then lands a series of punches to the jaw on Gravity before giving him a head butt that sends him down to the mat. Figure then lands a knee drop across the throat on Gravity before going for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Gravity. Figure then stands Gravity up, grabs him around the throat and picks him up for a choke slam. Gravity eye gouges Ghostly Figure to break free of the hold and then rolls to his corner and tags in Arizona. Arizona enters the ring and gives Ghostly Figure a knee to the gut and then picks him up and gives him a power slam to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Ghostly Figure. Arizona stands Figure up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a spear to the mat. Arizona again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Ghostly Figure and Arizona has a few words for the referee about the speed of the count.

Ricky Simms - Arizona thought he had it there.

Steve Blake - It takes a lot to keep that masked man down.

Arizona stands Ghostly Figure up and whips him into a neutral corner and goes for a clothesline in the corner, but Figure manages to duck it and then Figure quickly walks to his corner and tags in Night Dweller, drawing a loud cheer from the crowd. Night Dweller charges in and backdrops a charging Arizona and then gives Gravity a clothesline off the apron and down to the floor. Night Dweller then ducks a clothesline from Arizona and then gives him a knee to the gut before giving him a hip toss over the top rope and out to the floor. Night Dweller then poses for the crowd and then steps back to the middle of the ring. Arizona gets to his feet and paces on the floor and then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping back through the ropes into the ring. Arizona then locks up with Night Dweller and gives him a knee to the gut and then a series of forearm smashes that drive Night Dweller back to his corner where he tags in Gravity. Gravity then steps over the top rope and he and Arizona then gives Night Dweller a double vertical suplex to the mat.

Ricky Simms - Night Dweller is in no man's land here.

Steve Blake - He can't fight both of these guys at once, for sure.

Gravity stands Night Dweller up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a big boot to the chest and then gives him a leg drop across the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Night Dweller. Gravity then stands Night Dweller up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a spear in the corner only to have Night Dweller step out of the way. Night Dweller then lunges to his corner and tags in Ghostly Figure and Figure charges in and gives Gravity a clothesline to the mat and then places him in his trademark sleeper hold.

Ricky Simms - Figure has it locked in!

Steve Blake - No one escapes that hold!

Arizona drops off the apron and grabs the steel ring steps and then slides them into the ring. He then rolls himself into the ring and gives a charging Night Dweller a drop toe, face first, into the ring steps. Arizona then picks the steps up and smashes them into the back of Ghostly Figure to break the hold which also draws a disqualification. Arizona ignores the bell and puts the boots to Ghostly Figure. Arizona then picks up the ring steps and drops them onto the back of Figure and then drops and rolls himself out to the floor while the crowd boos him and Gravity. The two then head towards the back while Night Dweller struggles to get to his feet and Ghostly Figure lies motionless under the ring steps.

Ricky Simms - This was apparently a set up to injure The Ghostly Figure.

Steve Blake - Well, Gravity was going down and Arizona did what he had to in order to save face in his eyes. That weasel Calvin Kool looks really happy about this one.

We then look outside the arena where Scavenger is seen standing with his wife Lauren.

Lauren - Jake, I don't want to talk to you right now.

Scavenger - Look, I lost my temper and things were said. Let's go somewhere and talk.

Lauren - We have nothing to talk about until you stop hanging around Vesuvius.

Scavenger - You can't do this to me anymore. You can't control my life.

Lauren - Your life? Have you thought for one moment about what you are doing to my life or to your baby daughter's life?

Scavenger - That's right. Make this about you. It's all about you.

Lauren - Jake, I love you. I just can't be with this man you are right now.

Scavenger - You are my wife and you will do as I say...

Tough Eagle - *as he steps between them* Is there a problem here?

Scavenger - Stay out of this, Gene.

Tough Eagle - Scav, you heard my niece. She doesn't want anything to do with you until you get away from Anarchy.

Scavenger - She's my wife.

Tough Eagle - And you're a complete ass right now.

Scavenger - Maybe we could settle this inside the ring?

Tough Eagle - *snickers* You and me?

Scavenger - See you tonight, Gene.

Scavenger walks off and leaves both Tough Eagle and Lauren shaking their heads. We head back to the ring.

VS.

"Buttons" by Pussycat Dolls plays as Corina and Kelly Buchanan step out onto the stage where the crowd greets them with loud boos. Neither diva seems to care as they make their way down the ramp and they then jump up onto the apron and then leap over the top rope and into the ring together. The two of them then talk as their music fades and we hear "Cold Hard Bitch" by Jet and Laurie Smith and Missy make their way onto the stage and then they start down the ramp while the crowd cheers them on. The two of them then climb onto the apron and then step through the ropes into the ring where the referee calls for the bell as all four women start brawling.

Ricky Simms - Corina and Kelly fought each other so many times, they found a new respect for each other and now they are a tag team.

Steve Blake - And the fans don't care much for either of them.

Kelly and Laurie grapple and fall through the ropes and out to the floor while choking one another. Inside the ring, Corina then whips Missy into the corner buckle and then charges into raised knees from Missy. Missy then jumps to the second rope and lands a clothesline on Corina from there before she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Corina. Missy then stands Corina up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a back drop over the top rope and out to the floor where Corina actually lands on top of Kelly Buchanan. Missy then drops and rolls herself out to the floor where she and Laurie Smith put the boots to Corina and Kelly. Missy then stands Corina up and rolls her into the ring before rolling herself into the ring. Missy goes for the pin. 1...2... Corina gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Ricky Simms - Missy is showing once again just how tough she is.

Steve Blake - All four of these women are tougher than half the men on this roster.

Missy stands Corina up, whips her off the ropes and Corina ducks a clothesline and then gives Missy a reverse neck breaker to the mat before going to the pin. 1...2... kick out by Missy. Corina then pulls Missy to her corner and then tags in Kelly Buchanan. Kelly steps through the ropes and she and Corina give her a double knife edge chop to the chest and then a double head butt that sends her into the corner. Kelly then kicks Missy in the ribs repeatedly while Corina steps out of the ring. Kelly then picks Missy up and slams her to the mat. Kelly then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top. She launches herself off the top for a flying elbow smash, but Missy rolls out of the way and then tags in Laurie Smith. Laurie heads to the ropes and quickly makes her way to the top. Kelly stands, turns and takes a flying body press from Laurie who then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Laurie Smith and Missy score the upset win over Kelly Buchanan  and Corina!

Ricky Simms - Impressive showing for Laurie and Missy and Corina doesn't look impressed.

Steve Blake - Corina is under siege every week with so many women wanting her title belt.

Corina steps into the ring and watches as Missy and Laurie leave celebrating. Corina then starts putting the boots to her partner Kelly and gives her a knee to the forehead and then rolls herself out of the ring to the floor. Corina pulls a table out from under the ring and then slides it into the ring.

Ricky Simms - It would appear Corina has snapped again.

Steve Blake - She's developed quite the sadistic side over the past couple of months.

Corina sets up the table while Kelly slowly gets to her feet. Corina then eye gouges Kelly and then picks her up and gives her a power bomb through the table. Corina then puts the boots to Kelly while the crowd boos. Corina then places Kelly's throat over the bottom rope and chokes her with it while security rushes into the ring to pull her off her own partner. Corina struggles against the security guards and even bites one on the arm while she is dragged from the ring and the camera focuses on a bloodied and out cold Kelly Buchanan.

Ricky Simms - I would not want to be facing Corina inside the ring.

Steve Blake - Kathy Smith is due for the title shot at Backdraft. I know she's watching and has to be wary of this girl's mental state.

We are then taken away from the arena and we see Charley MacAdam in the CWA studio.

Charley MacAdam - Fans, on this night as we mourn the passing of Anarchy Wrestling, we are finding ourselves rather torn. You see, Backdraft is upon us! Noah Skanes will get his rematch against Vesuvius. Bruce Miller will fight in a handicap match against both of the Grogan twins. Kathy Smith gets her shot at the Diva title. Tough Eagle gets his shot at the Inter-Continental title as he squares off with Steve Hawkins. Ghostly Figure will fight Gravity in a falls count anywhere match. Sammy Jo Johnson will defend her title against Laurie Smith and Mary Sanderson in a triple threat match. There will be a twenty man battle royal. There will be another Diva Gauntlet with a stipulation yet to be laid out for the ten participants. Shannon Skanes will square off with Stan Smith in a hell in a cell match. The New Sensations will defend their tag titles against Orlock and Kindred. With a line up like that, how can you not be excited with the upcoming pay per view? This should be one for the ages fans! Now let's get back to the action!

VS.

"Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard plays as Lorenzo Cortez is led onto the stage by Calvin Kool. He smiles as the crowd boos him, but his smile fades when he is attacked on the stage by Clayton Fear. The crowd cheers as Clayton clothesline Lorenzo to the stage and then puts the boots to him. Clayton then looks at Calvin Kool and has a few words for him. Calvin takes a few steps back and Clayton then grabs him around the throat. Lorenzo then gives Clayton a chop block to the stage which saves Calvin Kool from certain doom.

Ricky Simms - Well, these guys are not waiting for the match to actually start.

Steve Blake - Clayton allowed his hatred for Calvin Kool to affect his actions here.

Lorenzo stands Clayton Fear up and then gives him a clothesline to the steel stage. Lorenzo then grabs Clayton by the legs and pulls him down the ramp towards the ring. At ringside, Lorenzo then grabs a steel chair, folds it and then drills Clayton over the head with it. Lorenzo then gives Clayton a shot across the back with the chair and then tosses it aside. Lorenzo then stands Clayton up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. The referee then calls for the bell and tells Lorenzo that any more of those tactics will result in a disqualification.

Ricky Simms - I cannot believe that Lorenzo isn't kicked out of this match for the chair shots.

Steve Blake - I guess the referee sees that they were before the match, so they don't count. I can't say that I agree with that logic, though.

Lorenzo stands Clayton Fear up, whips him off the ropes and then picks him up and gives him a Samoan drop to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Clayton Fear. Lorenzo then stands Clayton up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks before he then gives him a German suplex to the mat where he then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Clayton Fear. Lorenzo then stands Clayton Fear up, whips him off the ropes and Clayton manages to duck a clothesline and then gives Lorenzo a series of punches to the head. Clayton then gives Lorenzo a clothesline to the mat and then Clayton boot chokes Lorenzo, using the ropes for added leverage. Clayton releases the choke before the referee can reach the five count.

Ricky Simms - Never count Clayton Fear out. This is a nice comeback for the kid.

Steve Blake - Clayton is as tough as they get. I have known that from the first time I saw him inside the ring.

Clayton stands Lorenzo up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Clayton then rolls himself out to the floor and stands face to face with Calvin Kool. Calvin has a few words for Clayton and then slaps him across the face which draws cheers from the crowd when they see the rage in Clayton's eyes. Calvin drops to his knees and pleads for mercy and then takes a kick to the face from Clayton Fear. Clayton then head locks Calvin and gives him a bulldog to the floor which brings a huge ovation from the crowd. He then turns, takes a knee to the gut from Lorenzo and then a DDT to the floor. Lorenzo then stands Clayton up, rolls him into the ring and then rolls himself into the ring before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Lorenzo Cortez scores the win over Clayton Fear this week.

Ricky Simms - Clayton again had the upper hand, but his hatred for Calvin Kool cost him the match.

Steve Blake - Well, I can understand the hatred on his part, but he takes the loss.

Lorenzo leaves the ring and pulls Calvin Kool up by the shirt and then places him over his shoulder to carry him to the back. We then look backstage where Missy is pacing when Kathy Smith enters the picture.

Kathy Smith - Missy, you look upset.

Missy - Kathy, Corina is crazy. I don't want you to face her at Backdraft.

Kathy Smith - Honey, I love that you're worried. I can handle her.

Missy - Kathy, she's crazy. She has lost her mind.

Kathy Smith - Missy, trust me. I can handle her.

Missy - This has nothing to do with trusting you.

Kathy laughs and walks off while Missy simply hangs her head and mumbles to herself. We then head back to the ring for further action.

VS

"Naked Cousin" by PJ Harvey plays as Chastity and Sugar step out onto the stage where they get a mixed reaction from the crowd. They then run down the ramp and each slide under the bottom rope into the ring where they quickly get to their feet and high five one another while their music fades and then we hear "My Favorite Game" by The Cardigans and Kristen Burren and Robyn Connor step out onto the stage and they then quickly make their way down the ramp and they slide into the ring where Chastity and Sugar both get the boots put to them by Chastity and Sugar while the referee calls for the bell to get the action officially underway.

Ricky Simms - An experienced tag team against two experienced wrestlers who have never tagged together before.

Steve Blake - Chastity and Sugar both have talent, though, so they could mesh quickly.

Chastity and Sugar stand Kristen and Robyn up, whip them off the ropes and then give them a double dropkick to the mat. Chastity then stands Robyn up and whips her out of the ring to the floor before she steps out onto the apron which leaves Sugar and Kristen as the legal wrestlers in this match. Sugar stands Kristen up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a monkey flip to the center of the ring where Kristen lands on her feet. She then lands a vicious chin kick on Sugar before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sugar.

Ricky Simms - Kristen Burren almost caught her napping there.

Steve Blake - The CWA divas are, as always, second to none in the wrestling universe.

Kristen stands Sugar up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a round house kick to the chest. Kristen then picks Sugar up and gives her a power slam to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Chastity breaks it up by pulling Kristen off her partner. Kristen turns and gives Chastity a series of rights and lefts. Kristen then eye gouges Chastity and dumps her over the top rope and out to the floor. Kristen then turns back to Sugar and takes a knee to the ribs and then a snap suplex to the mat. Sugar then stands Kristen up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a clothesline to the mat and then land a standing somersault leg drop across the throat on Kristen before hooking the tights and both legs for the pin. 1...2...3! Sugar gets the pin as the referee fails to see the hook of the tights.

Ricky Simms - Well, that didn't turn out well for Kristen and Robyn.

Steve Blake - Distraction seems to be the name of the game tonight.

Sugar and Chastity leave the ring and head up the ramp with smiles on their faces while Robyn Connor and Kristen Burren try to figure out exactly what happened here. We then see Tough Eagle and Scavenger come out onto the stage already fighting one another.

VS

Eagle gives Scavenger a spine buster onto the steel stage while Chastity and Sugar quickly retreat to the backstage area. Eagle then stands Scavenger up and throws him right off the top of the stage and down onto the floor below. Eagle then lets out a howl before he dives off and gives Scavenger a flying body press to the floor. Tough Eagle then rains down punches to the already bloodied forehead of Scavenger.

Ricky Simms - This feud has apparently exploded backstage! Scavenger being married to Eagle's niece and now marital issues have brought this battle to the fore!

Steve Blake - I am amazed at the way Eagle is manhandling Scavenger here. Don't piss the big Native off.

Eagle stands Scavenger up and then runs him head first into the guard railing. Eagle then boot chokes Scavenger, pressing his face into the guard railing while nearby fans cheer. Eagle then takes a length of audio cable and starts strangling Scavenger with it. Referee Joe Davidson rushes from the ring to Eagle and tries to reason with the wide eyed and clearly unbalanced wrestler. Eagle releases his choke on Scavenger and then pulls him by the hair towards ringside. Eagle then stands Scavenger up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring as well. The referee can then finally call for the bell.

Ricky Simms - This battle might wind up being to the death!

Steve Blake - Oh, he has completely snapped.

Eagle stands Scavenger up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a spinning power slam to the mat from there. Eagle then chokes Scavenger with both hands while the fans cheer him on. We then see a panicked Lauren making her way down the ramp towards the ring, tears rolling down her cheeks. She takes the microphone from ring announcer Jan Hawkins.

Lauren - Uncle no! This is not what I wanted! Jake and I are having problems. Jake is ill. Jake is making bad decisions. I know that, but I cannot watch this go on!

Lauren climbs onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring where Tough Eagle then stands face to face with her.

Lauren - Uncle, Jake is my husband and I know he will regret this. I know he will wake up someday soon and he will realize what was wrong with all of this. I can't hate him. I can't turn against him. I love him. Please, don't do this tonight. I want to work things out for everyone and you have been such good friends with Jake in the past. We can get back to that once we get Vesuvius out of the picture. We can...

Her words are cut short as a now refreshed Scavenger slams her and Eagle together, slamming their heads into one another. Scavenger then low blows Eagle before giving him a belly to belly overhead suplex even while the referee is calling for the bell and declaring this a disqualification. Scavenger then stands and knees Tough Eagle below the belt before he turns to his wife in a rage and yanks the microphone from her hand.

Scavenger - Now you listen to me! I can fight my own battles! I don't need you coming out here to argue with your idiot uncle. Eagle jumped me in the locker room because he's a complete pussy. His legacy will be one as a complete loser and I don't need you out here whining like a bitch! Stay out of my way Lauren or next time, you'll really feel the full power of Scavenger.

Scavenger then turns and sees Eagle is on his feet, so he gives him a vicious spear to the mat while the crowd boos. Scavenger then rolls out of the ring, spits blood on the floor and gives his wife the finger as he then leaves ringside and makes his way up the ramp where we now see Vesuvius applauding from the stage area. Vesuvius is smiling and Xandra is at his side, nodding in agreement with what we just saw.

Ricky Simms - Scav is completely insane. This is more than talking to a chair insane. That man is WAY off of it now!

Steve Blake - He disgusts me. He will get what he has coming to him. Eagle will finish the job next time.

We fade to black with Vesuvius raising Scavenger's arm in a perceived victory and then the leaders of Anarchy Inc. heading off the stage. God knows what will happen next week on Overdrive...
