Live from Prospera Center in Chilliwack, BC
The crowd cheers as the lights come up and we hear "Du Hast" by Rammstein play loudly. The sound goes on for a few moments before we hear any commentary.
Ricky Simms - We are having a party and invited a few of our close friends!
Henry Lesher - I wonder why I came back, looking at all the inbreds in the crowd. I won't even start on who I saw back stage.
Ricky Simms - Despite my cohort here, it feels good to be back and broadcasting to the wrestling world again. I am certain that...
Ricky is interrupted as we hear "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace and Rated R comes out onto the stage which draws the cheers of the crowd. He seems to be taken aback by this and shakes his head as he makes his way down the ramp. He stops and poses for the camera before he pulls himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes and into the ring. He grabs a microphone from ring announcer Kelly Buchanan.
Rated R - You know, it's nice to be here. It's nice to be inside a wrestling ring that I once ruled.... a ring I will rule again. You see, tonight is about that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you see old friends. It is also about that warm and fuzzy feeling I get when I beat someone within an inch of their life.
He pauses and the crowd cheers him again, causing him to once again shake his head.
Rated R - For the life of me, I cannot understand what you people are cheering me for. I hate each and every one of you. I despise your miserable existence and I am again taking the spotlight from your precious so called stars. I am showing you once again how pathetic your favorite company is and you're cheering me. You have lost any respect I had left for any of you. You really have
The crowd boos him loudly now and a few plastic cups are launched into the ring while Rated R just smiles.
Rated R - Dance, puppets, dance. You're even more pathetic than I remember. Now, I am a man of many talents. I took that darling Kosmic Kitty and made her mine. I took that bitch Myst and ran her down like a dog. I took every superstar of this company of many names down and made them regret their existence. I am the biggest star that the CWA, the GWO or AW had. There isn't one man in the back who has half the talent that I have. This is my show. This is my ring. There isn't one...
"Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne starts to play as Jack Spade rushes down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring. Rated R quickly bails from the ring, a shocked look on his face. Rated R then retreats into and through the crowd towards the nearest exit. Jack Spade laughs as he picks up the microphone off the canvas.
Jack Spade - Keep running Ryan! Keep running from the ring and keep showing the world what a failure you truly are, as if we could ever forget.
The crowd cheers as Jack tosses the microphone back to Kelly Buchanan before he drops and rolls himself out of the ring. He then walks around the ring and high fives fans at ringside while Rated R is seen heading out the back door.
Ricky Simms - Ryan didn't expect anyone to come out and, if he did, he didn't want any part of the man who showed up.
Henry Lesher - Jack Spade is nobody. Ryan was just confused. He thought he was at the Special Olympics and didn't want to be seen picking on the retarded kid.
Ricky Simms - Doc, you can't say that on the air.
Henry Lesher - I just did. My God, you're dumber than I remember.
We look backstage where Hector Braun, former owner of the GWO, is seen with Shannon Skanes. Interviewer Joe Davidson rushes in for a scoop on what's happening.
Joe Davidson - What are you two doing here?
Shannon Skanes - Joe, you're looking for a smoking gun? No, this is a CWA event. This is a one time thing. I felt bad for the fact people missed Sunstroke and thought we would put things together here. Hector is merely helping to fund the action.
Hector Braun - The man is telling the truth. Joe, you'll have to watch X-Files reruns to find your conspiracy. There is nothing here.
They then motion him away while they talk to one another. Though they have told us that this is a one night event, we are wondering what they may actually have planned.
Lauren Strong vs. Hoshi Yakamoto
"Surfing with the Alien" by Joe Satriani plays as Hoshi makes her way out onto the stage to a loud chorus of cheers from the crowd. She then quickly makes her way down the ramp towards the ring while waving to the crowd and then she steps onto the apron and then through the ropes into the ring. She then jumps onto the second rope in the corner and poses for her fans. She then jumps down as her music ends and we hear "My World" by Emigrate and Scavenger leads his wife Lauren out onto the stage. They get a strong reaction from the crowd as well, Scavenger raising his famous chair high into the air while Lauren looks around nervously behind him.
Ricky Simms - For years, Lauren has wanted to step into the ring and now she gets her chance.
Henry Lesher - I already wish I had stayed home. This is a wrestling match? People want to see this tripe?
Lauren climbs onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring where referee Mark Davis then calls for the bell. Lauren and Hoshi circle one another and then lock up. Hoshi shoves Lauren into the corner buckle and then gives her a knee to the gut followed by a snap mare to the middle of the ring. Hoshi then climbs the ropes in the corner, waits for Lauren to stand and then gives her a flying dropkick to the chest. Hoshi goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Lauren. Hoshi then stands Lauren up, whips her off the ropes and Lauren ducks a clothesline and then gives Hoshi a backslide to the mat for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi. Hoshi then rolls herself out to the floor while Lauren gets to her feet.
Ricky Simms - Lauren showed some moxie there.
Henry Lesher - She is against Hoshi. Come on, Rick. It's Hoshi. You know Hoshi. She sucks.
Hoshi paces at ringside for a few moments before pulling herself onto the apron. She is greeted with a knee to the gut from Lauren who then gives Hoshi a suplex back into the ring. Lauren then stands Hoshi up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a shoulder block there for good measure. Lauren then picks Hoshi up and slams her to the mat. The crowd seems surprised at the level of ability shown by Lauren tonight as she then climbs the ropes in the corner. She poses on the top rope and then leaps off, going for a flying elbow smash only to find no one home when Hoshi rolls out of the way.
Ricky Simms - Lauren went for that move a little early.
Henry Lesher - She should be cooking dinner or stripping somewhere. My God, this is horrible wrestling.
Hoshi kips up to her feet and then gives Lauren a series of knife edge chops to the chest that drive Lauren into the corner. She then gives her a hip toss to the middle of the ring before going to the ropes. She starts to climb up when Scavenger inexplicably slams the steel chair across her back, knocking her off the ropes in plain sight of the referee who calls for the bell. Scavenger then reaches into the ring and pulls his wife out to the floor.
Ricky Simms - What the hell was that? What is Scavenger doing?
Henry Lesher - He saved me from watching any more of that crap. I thank him.
Scavenger leads a puzzled Lauren up the ramp while the crowd boos and Hoshi is attended to inside the ring.
Ricky Simms - This is a one night event. Why did he do that?
Henry Lesher - He is insane.
We then look backstage where Vesuvius and Xandra are with interviewer Ray Dees.
Ray Dees - This is an unusual sighting, to be sure.
Vesuvius - Why do you say that? The CWA banner flies here so I am here to salute it. Whether I respect the man who has put this together is not the point. I owe who I am to this place, so that's that.
Xandra - The mountain man goes where the mountain man wants... or people get hurt.
Vesuvius - *smiles* That brings up a good point. Raymond, you are in my way.
Ray quickly steps aside and allows Vesuvius to pass by while we return to the ring.
Tommy Purr vs. Max Cameron vs. Gerard Angelo
"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron comes out onto the stage to a mixed reaction. He is barely out in front of the crowd when he is chop blocked to the stage by a charging Tommy Purr. The two men then brawl on the stage which draws cheers from the crowd. They are then joined by Gerard Angelo who greets them by giving them a double clothesline to the steel stage. He then stands over them with a cocky grin on his face. He nods his head while he then proceeds down the ramp towards the ring.
Ricky Simms - This is a triple threat match, one which is not a street fight. Dear God, this is a one night reunion and yet we are seeing such violence as Scavenger was guilty of a few moments ago.
Henry Lesher - I already explained that he did us a favor. Gerard, Tommy and Max are a sign that things are looking up here. I look forward to seeing what else the world of wrestling will offer us.
Gerard rolls himself into the ring and then does a few push ups while Tommy Purr and Max Cameron start to march down the ramp towards their opponent. Gerard sees them coming and jumps to his feet and greets Max with a clothesline off the apron before he has a chance to step into the ring and then tries to do the same to Tommy, but Tommy ducks it and gives Gerard a thumb to the eye before he steps into the ring. Tommy then rakes the eyes of Gerard Angelo along the top rope and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo while Max Cameron finally rolls himself into the ring.
Ricky Simms - Well, we finally have everyone inside the squared circle, so this should get interesting from here.
Henry Lesher - Oh, any match with Tommy in it is interesting. You just keep ruining it by talking. I am sure your wife has been telling you that for years.
Max Cameron catches Tommy Purr with a knee to the back and then stands him up and whips him off the ropes before both men clothesline one another down to the mat. The referee starts counting all three men down, but Gerard quickly gets to his feet and then starts putting the boots to Max and Tommy alternately. He then stands Max up, whips him into the corner and then charges straight into a boot to the chin from Max Cameron who then gives Gerard a vicious headbutt that sends him down to the mat. Max Cameron then picks Gerard up and dumps him over the top rope and out to the floor. He then turns and takes a spear to the mat from a now rested Tommy Purr. Tommy goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron while the crowd appears to be torn on who they are cheering for. Tommy stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat before giving him a leg drop across the throat. Tommy then goes for the pin again. 1...2... Gerard grabs the foot of Tommy Purr and pulls him out of the ring and to the floor. The two then start brawling there to the delight of nearby fans.
Ricky Simms - There is more brawling in this than science.
Henry Lesher - Wrestling was never meant to be a science. I know science. It involves beakers and formulas and genetic cloning. This is fighting. It's about almost naked men and gold belts. I can't think of anything better than that.
Gerard slams Tommy's head into the steel ring steps and then rolls him back into the ring before rolling himself back in as well. Max Cameron then greets Gerard with a headlock and gives him a DDT to the mat. Max then goes for the pin. 1...2... Gerard gets a foot on the bottom rope. Max stands Gerard up, whips him into the corner and misses with a shoulder block when Gerard side steps it. Gerard then gives Max a German suplex to the mat, gets to his feet and takes a kick to the chin from Tommy Purr. Tommy then goes for the pin on Max while Gerard staggers against the ropes. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Tommy has a few unkind words with referee Steve Blake about the speed of the count.
Ricky Simms - Tommy needs to keep his eyes on the prize here.
Henry Lesher - I have my eyes on the prize.
Ricky Simms - I'm going to be sick.
Tommy stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a spear to the mat. Gerard then gives Tommy a knee to the face and then gives him a snap suplex onto the fallen Max Cameron before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Gerard then stands Tommy up and then throws him through the ropes and out to the floor. Gerard then places Max in a headlock only to be rolled into a small package by Max who also hooks the tights. 1...2...3! Max wins the match as the referee misses the grab of the tights!
Henry Lesher - That's hardly fair! Tommy wasn't even inside the ring!
Ricky Simms - Doc, you never cared about fairness before. Don't pretend you care now, when it suits you.
Max rolls himself out of the ring and stands nose to nose with Tommy. Max then extends his hand and waits a few moments. Tommy reluctantly shakes hands with Max Cameron. Max slaps Tommy on the back before he rolls himself into the ring. He then offers to shake hands with Gerard Angelo. Gerard looks down at his hand and then spits on it before he drops and rolls himself out to the floor while the crowd cheers. Max looks stunned inside the ring while Gerard grabs the microphone from ring announcer Kelly Buchanan.
Gerard Angelo - Look, Max, we came out here to entertain the old CWA fans tonight. We agreed this would be a brutal match, but we also agreed that we would win or lose as men. We would not take the quick route to the win and you did just that. We used to rule the world, Max. We were the best this or any company had to offer. Now, only one of us can look in the mirror and call himself a man. That man isn't you, my friend.
Gerard then tosses the microphone to the floor and marches towards the back while Max shakes his head inside the ring and keeps telling the fans he won the match with a three count. He then looks down at the mat for a few moments while Tommy starts making his way to the back.
Ricky Simms - There was a lot of passion in Gerard's voice there.
Henry Lesher - If he had any real passion, he would have won the match. He's a whiner. We always knew that about him. He lost. He needs to be a man about it.
While things settle down in the ring area, we look backstage where Scavenger is with interviewer Crystal Braun.
Crystal Braun - Scavenger, earlier you hit Hoshi with the chair and people want to know why.
Scavenger - People want to know why? Look, the chair does what the chair wants.
Crystal Braun - But surely as the one wielding the chair, you should...
Scavenger - No one wields the chair. I merely set it in the direction it wants to go. It decided it wanted to destroy little Hoshi and it did. After years of playing nice, it is not nice and now I cannot be nice either. I have to protect my family.
Crystal Braun - That seems a bit over the top, though.
Scavenger - *laughs* Oh I am a little over the top. The chair makes me better. The chair will make my wife, my family and my legacy better.
Crystal Braun - But Lauren lost.
Scavenger - Look again, little weasel. She was the one who walked out of that match under her own steam. That makes her the winner and Hoshi the sad little loser. That is how the game goes.
Crystal Braun - Thanks for your time.
Scavenger - It's my pleasure to spread the word according to the mighty chair.
We leave this odd scene and return to the ring.
Jack Spade vs. Sal Clemenzo
"Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota plays as Sal Clemenzo comes out onto the stage to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He bows slightly towards the camera before he starts down the ramp towards the ring. Sal then makes his way up the ring steps, then climbs the ropes in the corner before jumping down to the canvas. He then tests the ropes while his music fades and we hear "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne for the second time tonight. Jack Spade charges out onto the stage to the usual solid ovation from the crowd. He then rushes down the ramp to the ring, slides under the bottom ropes and Sal puts the boots to him while referee Casey Braun calls for the bell.
Ricky Simms - This is another solid match for tonight's fans.
Henry Lesher - Well, hopefully we see a mafia sniper finish off Spade here. The guy annoys the hell out of me.
Ricky Simms - Keep a good thought, Doc.
Sal stands Jack Spade up and gives him a knee to the gut before raking his eyes along the top rope. Sal then gives Jack a fall away slam to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Sal stands Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Sal then lands a springboard moonsault onto the fallen Jack Spade and again goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out again by Jack Spade. Sal stands Jack up and then whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Sal then climbs the ropes in the corner while Jack gets to his feet. He turns and takes a flying body press to the floor from Sal Clemenzo. Sal then stands over Jack while referee Casey Braun counts both men towards a possible count out. Sal rolls himself into the ring and then rolls himself back out to the floor. Sal then stands Jack up only to take an upper cut from Spade. Spade then slams Sal's head into the ring apron before giving him an Irish whip into the steel guard railing. Spade then rolls Sal into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. He hooks the leg and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo.
Ricky Simms - Great start to this battle between these two top wrestlers. The fans are getting quite the show tonight.
Henry Lesher - I'll admit that it's a shame that this is a one night thing.
Spade stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline when Sal ducks it. The two men then start trading rights and lefts in the middle of the ring. Sal then eye gouges Jack before Jack then knee lifts Sal to the gut. Jack then sets Sal up for a vertical suplex, but Sal blocks it and then he gives Jack a vertical suplex. He then stands Jack up and whips him into the corner. He charges into raised knees to the face from Jack who then jumps to the second rope and then gives Sal a clothesline to the mat from there before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo. Jack then stands Sal up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a clothesline to the mat. Jack then goes to the corner and starts making his way up the ropes. As he reaches the top rope, we see Rated R emerge through the crowd. He leaps over the railing and is seen by the referee who warns him to get out of the area.
Ricky Simms - That damned Ryan is out here now that Jack is busy with a match.
Henry Lesher - Hey, Rated R built this company and made it what it is!
Ricky Simms - Inactive?
Henry Lesher - Shut up.
As Rated R argues with the referee, Sal Clemenzo gets to his feet and then pulls Jack down off the top rope and then gives him a knee to the face. Sal then applies an STF on Jack Spade while Rated R applauds from ringside. Jack reaches for the ropes while refusing to submit to the hold. Jack pulls himself towards the ropes as the crowd cheers him on. Jack reaches another time and manages to snag the bottom rope only to then get pepper spray in his eyes from Rated R. The referee calls for the bell while Sal turns and also takes pepper spray in the eyes from Rated R. Ryan then takes the microphone from Kelly Buchanan once again.
Rated R - Never interrupt me again, Spade. I can destroy your miserable career on my mere whim. As for you, Clemenzo, I never liked you. I was just lucky to have my shot at you tonight. Now, I will take my leave of you two bumbling idiots and these stupid fans. I have never been happier to leave anywhere in my life.
Rated R tosses the microphone at Kelly Buchanan and then makes his way towards the back while the fans boo loudly.
Ricky Simms - He never found a night he couldn't ruin. This is a one night only event! This is not meant to start anything that cannot be finished! This is a CWA event meant to remember the great company and its superstars. Rated R has tainted that memory.
Henry Lesher - Oh come on. He put this match out of its misery. He is a true legend. He should have his face on the door to the hall of fame.
Ricky Simms - Your objectivity is stunning.
We see Rated R heading out through into the backstage area where he comes face to face with Dante, then Vesuvius and then Q himself.
Ricky Simms - Let's see how big he is now!
Rated R steps back and tries to raise his pepper spray, but Dante clotheslines him to the floor and the three legends put the boots to him. Q then picks Rated R up and tosses him down onto a nearby table, splitting it in half. Dante then lands a leg drop across the throat of Rated R and then the three of them leave him there motionless while the fans can be heard cheering.
Ricky Simms - Well, so much for his night.
Henry Lesher - Three on one is hardly fair.
Ricky Simms - Come on now, fair?
Henry Lesher - I am all for fairness, depending on who the subject is.
We then hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park and we see Myst making her way down the aisle. She doesn't look impressed and the crowd gives her a more mixed reaction than she would usually receive. She then makes her way onto the ring apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring, a microphone in hand.
Myst - You know, tonight was going to be a big success. Tonight was going to be a great reunion and then everything went wrong. Dante, Q and Vesuvius want to play rough? We have Leech backstage ready to referee a little match tonight. I am not impressed with the tactics employed by many tonight and Ryan is at the head of the list. I myself am putting an end to this. Let's get things started....
The scene then turns to snow and then fades to black. A few moments later, we see the words "Side A complete... please flip to side B."
