The crowd cheers as "Evolution" by Korn plays
and we get set for another CWA pay per view happening. We cut to the
ring where things are set up like a wedding chapel. There’s flowers
and candles and white decorations everywhere whilst a priest stands
in the middle of it all. Bombshell, Sarah Darling and Precious
Fairchild are stood in identical dresses as “King Of The Stereo” by
Saliva starts playing. We then see Kelly Buchanan backstage with Lady Eagle. Kelly Buchanan - Rachel, your thoughts on facing Daniel McCoy tonight? Lady Eagle - I have no beef with him really. I honestly want to know why Steve Hawkins has had it in for me for so long now. Kelly Buchanan - I haven't heard anything about him holding a grudge tonight, though. I know he is busy with... The shot then turns to snow and we head back to ringside. Ricky Simms - Apparently we are having technical difficulties. Henry Lesher - Thank goodness for small miracles. We look into the ring where Charley MacAdam is wearing a suit and is grinning from ear to ear. Charley MacAdam - Tonight marks the twentieth Terror in the Aisles! We have gone from a time when the Sensational Seven ruled this ring to a time when Jack Spade is the champ and veterans and rookies alike are trying to take what is his. Gerard Angelo has become a legend where he was once an afterthought and old legends like Steve Hawkins are trying to get back to the top. Tonight we salute the roster for their efforts and we salute you, the fans, for being here throughout everything. Charley's speech is interrupted when we hear "Southtown" by POD and 6Pac Dudley comes out to a loud ovation from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and shakes hands with a few fans on his way to the ring. He then makes his way around the ring before he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He grabs the microphone from Charley MacAdam. 6Pac Dudley - The fans are not here to talk about yesterday. They are here to talk about here and now. Let's get to the here and now. I am ready to fight. 6Pac Dudley vs. Bombshell vs. Kira Yakamoto "Rocket Queen" by Guns N Roses plays and Kira Yakamoto comes out onto the stage to a chorus of boos from the crowd. She then hurries down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring and then starts brawling with 6Pac. Her music fades and then we see Bombshell racing towards the ring, not waiting for her music to play. Bombshell slides under the bottom rope into the ring and trips both 6Pac and Kira down to the mat and then lands an elbow to the throat on Kira before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kira just as the match officially starts. Ricky Simms - This is a high flying battle to start things off tonight. Henry Lesher - I want this over fast. Get to the tag match. Bombshell stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a dropkick to the mat. Bombshell then gets to her feet, but is tripped back to the mat by 6Pac Dudley who then places her in a sleeper hold. The referee checks for a submission, but Bombshell refuses to submit when asked. She then lunges to the ropes and manages to grab the middle rope to force the break. 6Pac releases her and turns his attention back to Kira who is now on her feet. Kira greets 6Pac with a roundhouse kick that sends him through the ropes and out to the floor. Kira then whips Bombshell off the ropes and gives her a dropkick to the mat. Kira then goes to the ropes and quickly makes her way to the top. She leaps off and misses with a knee drop when Bombshell rolls out of the way and then she quickly rolls Kira into a small package for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Kira. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - I don't care. Nobody cares. Bombshell gets to her feet, pulls Kira up as well and then whips her into the corner buckle where she then misses with a shoulder block as Kira rolls out of the way while 6Pac rolls himself into the ring behind Kira. 6Pac quickly gets to his feet and then whips Kira off the ropes and gives her a clothesline to the mat and then turns into a round house kick to the chin from Bombshell who then spears 6Pac to the mat for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac and Bombshell slaps the mat in frustration. She then stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and then then both clothesline each other to the mat. Henry Lesher - I have heard they spent most of their relationship laying motionless on their backs like that. They were apparently as talented at... Ricky Simms - That's enough, Doc. As the referee starts counting them both down, Kira gets to her feet which stops the count. Kira drops a knee to the forehead on 6Pac and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Kira then stands 6Pac up and then rakes his eyes along the top rope into the corner where she slams his head into the buckle five times. Kira then gives 6Pac a bulldog to the mat and then rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... Bombshell gives Kira a double axe handle smash to the back which breaks up the count. Bombshell then stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a backdrop right over the top rope and down to the mat. Bombshell then stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and he ducks a clothesline before giving Bombshell a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! 6Pac retains the belt and quickly rolls himself out of the ring where referee Mark Davis raises his hand in victory. Ricky Simms - A chaotic match ends with 6Pac retaining the belt! Henry Lesher - Gosh... could I be happier? While 6Pac is handed his belt, we look backstage where Ray Dees is coming upon Kelly Buchanan who appears to be knocked cold. Ray Dees - I am getting the scoop on this one! Lady Eagle was being interviewed and Kelly was there and now she is down. What happened, Kelly? Kelly Buchanan - Someone.... hit me in the back of the head and took the camera out. I didn't see who did it. Ray Dees - I will find the perpetrator! Ray charges off like a misguided superhero towards the parking lot. He runs out the door and comes face to face with Steve Hawkins. Ray Dees - Steve, did you see Rachel? Steve Hawkins - Why would I have seen her? Ray Dees - She was talking about you and then she's gone. That doesn't strike you as odd? Steve Hawkins - That isn't my style, Ray. I don't go for that cloak and dagger routine. Ray Dees - You didn't see anything? Steve Hawkins - I really wish I could help you, but I can't. Hawkins turns his back to Ray and we head back to the ring NADP vs. Sex and Violence "Downfall" by Trust Company plays as Tommy Purr and Frank Merritt make their way onto the stage where the crowd greets them with a mixed reaction. They start making their way down the ramp, but are attacked from behind by Dex and Rex. The four men brawl on the stage with Dex shoving Frank off the ramp and down to the floor. Dex and Rex then kick Tommy in the chest and then give him a double vertical suplex onto the steel ramp. They then stand him up and pulls him to the ring and then roll him under the bottom rope into the ring. Dex Cooper then rolls himself into the ring and referee Steve Blake calls for the bell to get the action officially started in this one. Ricky Simms - There is no love lost between these two teams. Henry Lesher - I have little love for the champs. Thank goodness Tommy and Frank are going to become real tag team champions. Dex stands Tommy Purr up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a sidewalk slam to the mat. Dex then tags in Rex and then the two of them stand Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a double backdrop to the mat before then both gives him a leg drop across the chest. Dex then exits the ring while Rex rains down punches to the head on Tommy Purr. Rex then stands Tommy up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks in the corner before giving him a belly to belly overhead suplex to the mat. Rex then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr and Rex has a few words for the referee on the speed of the count. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - Tommy will not lose to losers. Rex stands Tommy up while Frank finally takes his place in his corner, looking quite unimpressed. Rex then whips Tommy off the ropes and Tommy ducks a clothesline and then rolls to his corner where he tags in Frank Merritt. Frank charges in and gives Rex a clothesline to the mat and then gives a charging Dex a backdrop onto Rex Cooper. Frank then picks Dex up and press slams him over the top rope and down to the floor. Frank then stands Rex up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Frank then picks Rex up and tosses him over the top rope and out to the floor before he poses in the middle of the ring. Ricky Simms - Frank really cleaned house here and the champs need to regroup. Henry Lesher - The champs are in over their heads. That is pretty clear. Dex and Rex get to their feet and neither look happy with this turn of events. Dex pulls himself onto the apron and starts arguing with Frank while Rex makes his way around the ring. Rex then slides into the ring behind Frank while Merritt fives Dex a vicious upper cut that knocks Dex off the apron and back down to the floor. Rex then gives Frank a shoulder block to the back and then gives him a German suplex to the mat, stands him up and gives him a second German suplex to the mat and then stands him up and gives him a third German suplex which draws cheers from the crowd. Rex then goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank rolls a shoulder out. Rex then stands Frank up and pulls him to his corner where he tags in Dex. Dex enters the ring and they then gives Frank a double vertical suplex to the mat. Dex tries for the pin as Rex leaves the ring. 1...2... kick out again by Frank Merritt. Ricky Simms - Frank is one of the toughest guys around. He isn't going down easily. Henry Lesher - We finally agree on something. Dex stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Frank ducks it and then he gives Dex a reverse neck breaker to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Dex kicks out. Frank then stands Dex up, whips him into a neutral corner and charges into raised knees to the chest from Dex who then climbs to the second rope and then lands a double axe handle smash to the chest on Frank. He then gives Frank a DDT to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank gets a foot on the bottom rope. Dex slaps the mat and appears to be angry with that turn of events. Ricky Simms - Dex figured that was it. Henry Lesher - Dex figured wrong. That doesn't surprise me. Dex stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and Frank makes the blind tag to Tommy Purr. Dex then gives Frank a backdrop to the mat and then lands an elbow to the throat on Frank before hooking the leg for the pin. When Dex turns to ask the referee for an explanation as to why he's not counting, Dex takes a kick to the face from Tommy. Tommy then ducks a clothesline from a charging Rex and then gives him a whip through the ropes and out to the floor. Tommy then gives Dex a knee to the gut and then a round house kick to the jaw. Frank gets to his feet and he gives Dex a knee to the chest and then he picks Dex up and sets him for a springboard clothesline from Purr to the mat where Tommy goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank kicks Rex in the face before he can make the save. 3!!! We have new tag team champions! Ricky Simms - That is what they call the D-Merritt. Henry Lesher - We finally have a real champion in this lousy company. Maybe I'll stay here and watch how this plays itself out. Frank and Tommy hold the belts high while we head backstage where Ray Dees is still hunting for Lady Eagle. Ray Dees - My search has brought me to this room. I had suspected that this might be the source of the problem. I am here to expose the whereabouts of Lady Eagle and this is the most successful I have ever felt. As he opens the door, the shot turns to snow and we are then sent back to the ring for tonight's main event. Jack Spade vs. Gerard Angelo "Party Like A Rockstar (Remix) by The Shop Boyz ft. Lil Wayne, Jim Jones, and Chamillionare plays as the lights go out momentarily. When they comes back up, we see Gerard Angelo on stage where the crowd gives him his standard mixed greeting. He then makes his way down the ramp and looks into the camera and tells us that this is where things end for Jack Spade and that the title is coming back home. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring while his music then fades. We then hear "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne and see Jack Spade on stage. The crowd gives him the loudest ovation of the night and then he quickly makes his way to the ring where he hands the world title belt to the referee before he pulls himself onto the apron. He then steps through the ropes into the ring and referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell to get this match underway. Gerard and Jack then lock up and fight for the early advantage in this one. Ricky Simms - The CWA world title is on the line here. Henry Lesher - Well, it is clear that Jack has gained some respect, but when Gerard is your number one contender, it shows you're in a bit of a shallow talent pool. Jack shoves Gerard into the ropes and then the two shove back and forth until they are in the corner buckle. Gerard gives Jack a knee lift and then whips him to the opposite corner and then gives him a hip toss back to the middle of the ring. Gerard then gives Jack an atomic drop and then comes off the ropes and gives him a lariat to the mat where he goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Gerard then stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat and then a leg drop across the throat where he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Gerard shakes his head as he stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a dropkick when Spade side steps it and Spade then gives Gerard a knee to the chest. Spade then stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a drop toe hold to the mat where he quickly goes for an STF. Gerard manages to scramble to the ropes to force the break and then rolls himself out to the floor to regroup. Ricky Simms - Great action so far in this one. Henry Lesher - Our opinions are back to varying greatly then. I cannot believe it isn't Frank and Tommy out here battling for this title. Jack is ducking them. Ricky Simms - I haven't seen Spade duck anyone. Henry Lesher - You're not looking hard enough then. Jack Spade rolls himself out to the floor in pursuit of Gerard Angelo. Jack and Gerard then start trading rights and lefts on the floor. Jack slams Gerard's head into the ring apron and then rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. Jack stands Gerard up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges in for a shoulder block only to find no one home as Gerard steps aside. Gerard then gives Jack a gut wrench suplex to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Gerard then stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline to the mat. Gerard then has a few words for a fan in the front row as Jack kips up to his feet. Jack then turns Gerard around and gives him a series of knife edge chops to the chest and then whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the chest that sends him into the air, somersaulting before he hits the mat where Jack then applies a sleeper hold on Gerard. Gerard then lunges to the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. Gerard again rolls himself out to the floor and finds himself running when jack follows him out. Ricky Simms - Round and round the ring they go. Henry Lesher - Whoever wins is still retarded. Ricky Simms - That's uncalled for, Doc. Gerard rolls himself into the ring and Jack follows, taking an elbow to the back from Gerard who then pulls Jack to the middle of the ring where he applies a Boston Crab on the defending champion. The referee checks for a submissions while Jack grabs for the ropes and tries to pull himself closer to them. Jack continues to refuse to submit while he pulls himself closer to the ropes while Gerard tries to lean back further and increase the pressure on the champ. Jack then lunges for and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break before it is now Jack Spade who rolls himself out to the floor for a break. This time, it's Gerard who is in pursuit. He hits the floor and takes a vicious series of knife edge chops to the chest from Jack Spade. Jack then gives Gerard a clothesline right over the guard railing at ringside and into the crowd. Jack then waits for Gerard to stand before he launches himself with a springboard clothesline on Gerard Angelo. Jack then stands Gerard up and gives him a head butt. Gerard answers with an eye gouge on Jack Spade and then gives him a drop toe face first onto a chair while referee Francis Clarke reaches a ten count and declares this match a double count out. In the crowd, Gerard and Jack keep fighting, oblivious to the decision. Ricky Simms - The title does not change hands here tonight, but Gerard showed just how tough he can be. Henry Lesher - This battle will only get solved with a falls count anywhere match. Ricky Simms - I have a feeling that could very well be the case. Security rushes in to break things up while Gerard grabs a chair and tries to clock Jack with it, only to hit a security guard instead and then Gerard spears Jack to the floor. Ricky Simms - Fans, we are out of time! Tune in next week to see another edition of Overdrive! Let's see how this plays itself out! We fade to black as Jack Spade and Gerard Angelo are pried apart. |
