The purpose of the Board of Practices and Principles combines the ideals behind the former ECWA Rules Committee and the ECWA Competition Committee. The Board of PRactices and Principles, as a whole, shall be assertive and active in reviewing the current guidelines in effect within the ECWA, including rules for specific areas on the forums, rules that apply throughout the boards, and the "unwritten" rules that are understood to be "implied".

They shall also continue to monitor the competitive level of the ECWA, the competition level of each individual member of the ECWA (in respect of their avaliability to compete), and to assist in maintaining an active and competitive roster in the ECWA. They will submit ideas and suggestions to the Board of Directors in regards to special undertakings (ie: tournaments, etc.), "storylines" that may have become stale, or may need to be begun, talents who have simply appeared to "vanish" from the ECWA, and roster update requirements, as well as the need to add, change, or otherwise impliment the current guidelines of the ECWA. They are an integral piece of this federation, and their input, as suggestions and advisions, shall be taken with complete thought and regard by the Board of Directors.

It should be noted, and made perfectly clear, that the assignments to these positions in no way shall be used by these members as an "advantage" to their character standings here in the ECWA, and, as with all other staff positions, any member of the Board of Practices and Principles found to be using this staff position for their own personal gain or benefit of their own personal characters within the ECWA shall be removed from their post. All positions as "out of character" roles.

In addition to the duties listed above, each member has been assigned a key role here in the ECWA. They may include acting as an advisor to suggest comments and ideas for current ECWA Championships, assisting with questions pertaining to new talent creativity and evaluating and assisting new talents here within the ECWA, or acting as a creative link suggesting new ideas to keep things "fresh" within the ECWA.

None of the members of the Board of Practices and Principles are listed here on the home site, as their roles are most prodominant on the ECWA Forums.
