Inside The EUWC Locker Room - Victor Cruz

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the premiere edition of Inside the EUWC Lockerroom.

I am your affable host, Victor Cruz. For our debut who better to have than the current king of the EUWC mountain, World Heavyweight Champion Stephen Greer.

Well Stephen, you know how this works so let's begin...

First off, what was going through your mind during the rioting and aftermath that came with your somewhat surprising world title win at Superiority?

Stephen: First off, nothing about me winning the belt was a surprise. Sure, maybe all of these EUWC losers were surprised by some "outsider" coming into their little world and destroying their hero, but anyone who has followed the rest of the wrestling world outside of the xenophobic little clique knew I was going to walk out of there and do what needed to be done. The riot? It's just too bad Ty didn't take a few of those freaks down with some shots.

Question 2, What roles do Eric Dane and Dr. Crime really serve Team Danger?

Stephen: Dr. Crime's role will become known very soon, a surprising twist in the world of Team Danger. As for Eric Dane? Believe me, we've been questioning his role a lot lately and we're struggling to find any use for him anymore.

Question 3, With the events of the Main Frame this week, what do the words "New Regime" mean to you?

Stephen: They mean nothing to me at all. Another new group designed to bring down Team Danger, another new group that will fall before us, crushed under the weight of our greatness. Pickstock thinks that Jay Smash, Danny Collins and Angel of Death are the answer to our question? Fine, he's entitled to that belief. However, he then sets the gauntlet for Ultra Brawl where I get to destroy the entire New Regime in one night. Why does he set himself up for these great falls? Self-loathing perhaps? Maybe he just knows he's destined to fail so he makes it easy on himself.

Question 4, Every wrestler at one point or another has a "dream match" they would like to participate in. Who would that be for you and why?

Stephen: Hands down, my dream match is my partner, Tyrone Walker. We've squared off a few times, but it was either very early in our career or there were politics involved, or screwjobs, sometimes even some turns, but then Team Danger happened and that's lifelong, it's blood. No doubt, my dream match is one-on-one with Ty, no time limit, match of the century.

Question 5, Do you think Tyrone Walker would ever come after your World Title? With all the success you two have had as a team, this must have come up...

Stephen: Ty and I have a deal and it's this, we will not face each other one on one until it's time for us to hang it up. What we have in TD and in our friendship means more than any stupid hunk of metal like a World Title belt. When one of wins a title, it's personal glory and personal pride, but in the end, it all adds to the legend of what we are together. When we are forever mentioned in the history of professional wrestling, we will be mentioned as Team Danger first and we'll let our individual accomplishments follow. We are the core of TD, we are the heart, the originals and the only TRUE members of Team Danger. Without Tyrone Walker or Stephen Greer, there is no TD and with that bond being forever, we don't let petty things get in the way. You see this? [Greer pulls up his sleeve and shows his "TD" tattoo on his inner left wrist] That is less permanant than Team Danger and that strength we have combined is what makes us unbeatable in the end.

Question 6, There are rumours circulating around the locker room that the man you beat for that title is planning a major return to the EUWC. How would you welcome him back?

Stephen: I don't know, let Kelly stab him again? [Greer laughs loudly] Seriously though, Taylor's coming back? I'll give him a rematch. He wants the belt, he knows where to find it, around my waist where it belongs. He's got to get in line though, I've got to finish off the rest of these losers first.

Question 7, What did you and Tyrone think when EUWC Hall of Famers STEALTH and Jordan Lockhart walked the aisle at Summer Sizzler and took the tag titles from you?

Stephen: Honestly? My first reaction was that Pickstock had gotten desperate. He drags his two favorite "boys" out of the graveyard for another spin in the ring. We took them lightly and they made the most of what is their last ridiculous grasp at the spotlight. Lockhart I've never met or seen, STEALTH and I have a little history. LCW TV Title and some great moments in Canada. In the end though, I took him out, reigned as the last LCW TV Champion and now I hold the other title he held so dear. What do I have left to prove against him? Lockhart, on the other hand, is another stone in my path towards immortality.

Question 8, Do you have any reaction to the comments Samuel Roundtree made about you and Tyrone last week? How do you plan to handle his seeming abandonment of your alliance?

Stephen: I'm a little disappointed in young Samuel. We give him the world, let him keep his title belt, let him live and breath the same air as us and this is the thanks we get? Instead of just walking away from the situation gracefully, he goes so far as to start a crusade against us? Samuel, you've seen first hand what we can do. You've seen first hand what we have already done. We were dominant long before we ever let you carry our bags and we'll be dominant for long after we end your life.

Final question Stephen, Team Danger has been dominating things in the EUWC since Blood Bath in Tokyo, what in your opinion can stop your domination?

Stephen: Team Danger can only be stopped if we self-destruct, which doesn't happen when we keep it simple. We give beatings, we win titles, we make money. Matt Pickstock and the EUWC roster seems to think the way to stop us is to somehow take the titles from us. What they all fail to see is that even if the cards fall in place for them on one night and they're lucky enough to take the belts, we'll take them back before they can even update the history books. You guys all want our belts? Go ahead and take them, we'll let you hold them for a while until the world is begging for us to remove the stink of your failure and take them back to prominence. It's a new game, ladies and gentlemen, and the sooner you realize we're running the table, the better it is for you.

Well, we'd like to thank you for your time, and we invite everyone to join us next time for Inside the EUWC Lockerroom.
