Golden Rule: This is a game. Have fun, and make sure you keep it fun for others.
Front Office: The Front Office shall consist of three (3) positions. Those positions and there duties are as follows: President: Event Organizer, head of recruiting and head booker for the promotion. Commissioner: Presidental representative at televised events, promotion "watchdog" ensuring the smooth operation of the promotion. Also has booking input, and assists in the recruiting of new talent. Director of Authority: The D.O.A. was set in place to settle disputes between wrestlers. These disputes could be interferences, false finishes etc... The D.O.A. has booking powers, and can also suspend, fire or bar from ringside. Championships: Titles will be awarded to the competitors who successfully defeats the champion by pinfall or submission, unless otherwise specified by match stipulations. Championship matches will be decided like any regular match (See: Matches). No one wrestler is allowed to hold more than one singles title at a time. However, a wrestler may hold one of the tag team titles, and a singles title at the same time. To see how titles are awarded, check the Titles Page. Matches: Matches will be scheduled on a week to week basis. Winners will be decided on a combination of roleplays and angle (storyline) development. Quality will always overrule quantity. Match decisions are final. Any complaint may be made to the President, and will be reviewed. However, match decisions are made for a specific reason, and disputes don't look favourably on the complaintant (See: Golden Rule). Roster: The roster is to be kept at a limit of no more than thirty-five (35) total wrestlers. Members of tag teams are counted as singles wrestlers, and therefore the team as a whole will not be counted towards the roster limit. **Note: Each handler is allowed no more than three (3) wrestlers at a time on the roster, with the roster not to exceed a total of fourty (40) wrestlers as stated above. EUWC Television: MAIN FRAME: Main Frame acts as the flagship show for the EUWC. Mark Stratford and former EUWC Superstar John Shaft host the 2 hour spectacular. The show features a host of matches, interviews and all other goings-on in the EUWC. Main Frame airs every Friday Night! HIGH OCTANE: High Octane is much like Main Frame. However it has less segments and matches. It is a shorter show which allows other EUWC Talent to get TV matches that normally would not have room for on Main Frame. HOUSE SHOWS:House Shows will also feature matches and possibly even interviews. The difference is that results will be written in a more compact form than from Main Frame and High Octane. House Shows will not be run all the time. Only when the EUWC Management sees fit to run them. Roleplays [Important]: Roleplays are the bread and butter of any Fantasy Wrestling promotion. RP's are the means in which you start and maintain feuds, hype your wrestlers up, and can come in the form of interviews, skits, or whatever your imagination allows. To have your wrestlers' RP's appear on the EUWC Forums (which you will be given access to when you sign up). The more you Roleplay and participate, the more fun you'll have, guaranteed (and more of a push your wrestler will get), so RP often and RP well! (Not too often... Quality over Quantity) Language in RP's is another big thing. We at the EUWC like to run our program for television and the language should be kept as if it is. This means censoring any unnecessary language. Examples are: "bleep", f**k, @sshole, etc. You get the point. be smart. It looks kind of dumb when you have edits in every other line in your RP, you can get a point across without swearing too much! Or better yet, don't even bother swearing. Your wrestler will sound like a 13 year old, and chances are he'll be treated like one. Attacking other wrestlers in RPs is a BIG no-no! Any RP should not contain another wrestler in the EUWC, without the handlers permission! If you use another wrestler, in any way, in a RP, there will be some serious penalties (*cough* job *cough*). In-Ring Interviews for Cards: Anyone is welcome to submit an in-ring interview, aka a "promo", for a card. If it’s to introduce your character, to further a feud or whatever, feel free to do so. All in-ring interviews MUST be received a day before the card is due out [typically due by Thursdays.] The in-ring must follow the same rules as Roleplay's, edit all swearing, and do not use another wrestler without the handlers permission. Strategies for Cards: If you have any special tactics in mind for your matches, such as using any foreign objects or having your wrestler interfere in a match, or just an idea of how you’d like to approach your match, send the tactics to the president and he will do his best to work them in. All strats should be sent directly to the president at kma_jackson@yahoo.com. The President reserves the right to reject any proposals that are too outlandish or don't fit with the vision of the league. If you have any special things you want your wrestler to do before the matches, you have to tell me each time they fight, lest I forget. There are over 30 wrestlers in this league, it's hard to remember off the top of my head the subtle ring mannerisms of each one. Remember this. If you want to make sure the wrestler does something special in the ring, make sure to email me. Typically, all strategies for Friday night cards are due the Thursday prior to by 5:00 p.m. EST, unless otherwise noted. Making/Accepting Challenges: There are three ways to make or accept challenges. The first is to email President Jackson directly at kma_jackson@yahoo.com. The second is to post a challenge on the EUWC Forums. The third is to make a challenge in a roleplay! Once the match has been posted/accepted, it will be placed on to the next available card, and posted on the cards page. Angles: Angles are what makes E-Wrestling particularly fun, both for those orchestrating the angle, and those reading it. Angles also typically end up moving your wrestlers up in the rankings and cards. Each handler is encouraged to begin their own angle! If you have an idea for an angle, bring it up to the President and see if he approves and if he can help in any way. As well, a suggestion is to get in contact with who you’d like in your angle, that person may have some great ideas as well to throw out and it adds a bit of entertainment to the angle. If you can’t think of an angle for your wrestler, ask the President, he’s usually got some good ideas floating around. Periods of Inactivity: If for some reason, you cannot roleplay or participate for a certain amount of time, please email the president and let him know! If you do not let the president know you cannot participate for a certain time, your wrestler may be booked into cards, and obviously will not win! If you wish to no longer participate in the EUWC, also tell the president. If not, the wrestler will be kept on the roster for up to an extra month and used to put over other wrestlers. If you tell the president, your wrestler will be removed ASAP! Finally: The EUWC is based 100% on participation. To succeed in this federation you need to participate, which includes roleplaying on a regular basis, developing angles and feuds. Extra participation comes from sending in strategies for your matches and writing matches for me for our weekly cards, but that is optional. Now do NOT get discouraged if you lose a few matches. Everyone loses here in the EUWC, but then again, everyone will eventually win!! There will be no wrestler who goes 150-0, everyone is going to lose a match here and there. But as long as you are participating, your time will come. It may not be right away, but down the road you will receive what you deserve, so do not get discouraged! And the last rule... NO WHINING!! Every match must have a winner and every match must have a loser... you will lose matches, it’s just a fact! And let's face it: in today's wrestling world, wins and losses are meaningless. It's possible and commonplace to lose the match and be put over, just as it is possible and commonplace to win the match and not be put over. The Rock and Austin are the top draws in the business and their records are no better than 50%. You judge your success in the EUWC by how far you are up on the card, and how entertaining your material is. And most of all, by how much FUN you are having. Isn't this, after all, what it's all about? Do not whine to me when you lose, cause that will just be cause for more losing for you! If you have some serious beef with a match, email the president and talk to him directly, he will explain the situation!! Any questions about the rules of Extreme Universal Wrestling Corporation may be directed towards The President. | |
