With the first TEW pay-per-view around the corner, Nikki should be focused on facing Brandon for the World Heavyweight Championship.. but as we will soon see, there's a lot more than celebrating going on.

Past Mistakes

The scene opens up on the offices of Twisted Elegance Wrestling, a place known by many as corruption central, namely due to its chief operator as of late, one Draconis Askari. Drake, as he's known to the fans, is sitting back in his office chair, enjoying a chat session with someone by the screen name of "divadisaster" when a knock is heard at the door. He shuts down the computer and buzzes the intercom.

DRAKE: Michaela, I told you to buzz me if anyone was here.

MICHAELA: Sorry, sir...it's Nikki Cornett. Says you called about an important matter?

Suddenly, Drake's entire tone changes from one of agitation to one of compliance.

DRAKE: Sure, go ahead and let her in.

The door is heard unlocking, and the doorknob turns slowly. Nikki walks in, clearly not happy to be here since this man has caused problem on top of problem for her and her family. Dressed in a navy blue dress and matching heels, her face conveys her boredom and impatience.

NIKKI: What is it now, Drake? When in the name of Hades himself will you get bored with screwing with my family?

DRAKE: Forgive me for this one, Nicole...but I think this news you may want to hear...

Drake rotates his chair and begins thumbing through some paperwork.

DRAKE: You remember when Anubis and Sabre told James that Destiny wasn't his daughter, correct? I recall that was the start of a number of problems between you two.

NIKKI: (Sighs impatiently) Yes, I remember. The little peabrains didn't know what the hell they were talking about, and if you called me in here for this, neither do you.

DRAKE: Nicole, if it were any other situation, I would agree with you.

Drake finally finds the paperwork he's looking for and rotates back to her, sitting the file folder on the desk in front of her.

DRAKE: Unfortunately, when it comes to this particular situation, and forgive the rhyme, Cheech and Chong weren't wrong.

NIKKI: Oh, bullshit. Destiny is James', no matter who says what and how many times it's repeated. (Nods to the folder) What in Hades is that? Another one of your falsified documents?

DRAKE: Tests done by Kosciusko Community Hospital. When James had me renew his insurance policy, one of the conditions was for all the family to have bloodwork done to confirm there were no pre-existing conditions. I'm sure you remember that much.

NIKKI: Of course. Damned insurance companies don't want any surprises anymore.. afraid they might lose some of thier precious money. What of it?

DRAKE: Well, something in my head told me to do the tests just to make sure that everything was on the up and up. You'll find the test numbers, results, and even a phone number so you can call yourself to verify this.

NIKKI: Get to the point.. provided there is one. What's all of this boil down to? What's so all-important about these blood tests that you had to call me away from my family?

DRAKE: Jason and Lucas were actually right for a change. James isn't Destiny's father. At least according to that paperwork he's not. And before you ask, she's not Spyder's either. Eugene's paternal code didn't match hers.

Her face drains of color as her blood runs cold. How could this be possible? Snatching the folder off of the desk, she opens it, her eyes scanning the paper.

NIKKI: This can't be right.. what the hell are you trying to pull? This says Des is..

Without mentioning the name, Drake nods.

DRAKE: I was astounded myself on this. Their father pulled a nearly identical scheme on me well before you even came into the picture. And while you may not agree with my methods, I certainly do not wish D.J. or Eugene any harm...

NIKKI: You'd do anything to anyone just to hurt James and I and you know it. Don't you dare try to lie to my face. Why else would you impregnate Lindsay if you didn't want leverage? She's as much ours as they are.

DRAKE: Actually, Lindsay is part of a much bigger picture that involves said deal. Regardless, Nicole, I figured you needed to know about this. Do you have any idea how this could have happened?

NIKKI: He and I were married long before I even thought of being with James, but.. Des is younger than that. The dating of this and Des' age says this happened while James and I were together.. but I swear I never cheated on him. I would never do that.. James is everything to me. I.. I don't see how this could've happened.

DRAKE: Maybe not knowingly, but there are ways this can still happen. Can you recall a time when something didn't seem right?

When WASN'T that an occurrance in the Cornett life? But Drake obviously means something even more unusual than normal. She starts thinking.. Destiny had to have been conceived around the time when she and the Cornetts were in HBAW. Counting backwards nine months from her birthday.. would've made it around the time James had won the World title. They had thrown a giant party that night.. she had excused herself from the guests to rest in another room. The door had opened.. and thinking it was James, she had.. oh, dear gods. That was it.

NIKKI: (Quietly) James' World title party in HBAW.. I should've known something was off. By then, James was comfortable enough with me that he would've taken off his glove. It was dark, he was drunk.. (Closes her eyes) ..Gods, James is going to kill me for this.

DRAKE: Look, it was an innocent thing on your part. He can't exactly...oh...right...that was also about the same time that....yeah....

Drake takes a deep breath before he continues.

DRAKE: Now you might be thinking I'm revealing this for you to screw around with me. No. That would never happen, and with good reason after everything I've done. What I'm doing instead is giving this information to you to see how best to handle this. You know James as well as I do...he'll flip out. The thing is, word has it that Auron is supposed to be revealing this as part of a 'secret investigation' he launched a few years ago. If that's revealed to James on a night he's not scheduled to show up...you know as well as I do what will happen. You at least have the power now to control the damage that is done as a result of this information. Like I said, I do not wish D.J. and Eugene harm...and to be quite frank, I don't wish for your harm either. But this had to be told to you before things got beyond the point where even I could control them.

NIKKI: I never thought I'd say this after what you've done to us, but thank you. I just.. I know this is going to hurt everyone, most of all James.. and I don't want to do that to him after what he's been through. I know he's still going to think of Des as his no matter what this says, but I have a feeling our marraige is gonna go to hell, mistake or not.

DRAKE: Look, as bad as I've been to him lately, I'm not a complete dickhead. Yes, I've done some things that are questionable as of late, but for a while there...your husband was the best friend I had. If those two blabbermouths known as... (he almost seems to hesitate here) Desolation hadn't of said anything, this wouldn't have even been brought up.

NIKKI: Questionable? (She laughs slightly) That's a generous way to put it. If he was such a good friend of yours, then why do this to him? What are you aiming for?

DRAKE: You really want to know? It stems back from a deal his dad made me. The deal went south when Avidan realized he wasn't getting what he wanted out of the whole thing, so he did the one thing I've never been able to forgive...he turned my own daughter against me. I'm merely righting a wrong by doing to Avidan Richard Cornett what he did to me...take away his entire family, or what's left of it, anyway. In fact, last I heard, good-ol' ARC was finally starting to get the hint that he hadn't outsmarted me after all. And the worst part is, had he treated his kids any better, he might be able to let them know more in detail about what went wrong.

NIKKI: So what you're doing to James is something his father deserves? What sort of sense does that make? You're punishing the children for thier father's mistake.. it's starting to sound like the Klingon Empire around here. I'm sorry for what you went through.. truly, I am.. but it's ridiculous.

DRAKE: You're right. It is ridiculous. But I figured the only way to hit Avidan where it really hurt was his kids. Despite how bad he might have treated them, he did care for them. Am I going to Hell? More than likely. But you and your children do not deserve the hell I've put you though, and for that I am sorry. My biggest relief is that you are actually being civil with me as opposed to some of the others I've had to deal with lately. If they would merely be as rational as you have been, they'd be saving themselves a lot of grief. And on top of that, this is one issue I have no right to bring up. That's between you and James.

NIKKI: I admit, I would've preferred to keep this in the dark, as it were, but that wouldn't be fair to James. Des is old enough to know, and even though it'll hurt like hell and piss him off even more, I know James can deal with it, given enough time. If I have to, I can live with my brother and sister.. provided it comes to that. I know it sounds like I'm not very trusting of my bonds with James, but I just have the worst feeling that that's how it's going to go.

DRAKE: I have no way to predict this one. It should be enough that you're able to tell him.

Drake stands up with her and offers his hand.

DRAKE: If it's any consolation, you are very beautiful and intelligent. James has himself a prize wife, and if he loses you to this...he's out of his damn mind.

NIKKI: (Stands up and surprisingly shakes his hand) Thank you. I hope it's alright if I take this file with me. I know he'll want proof, just like Rune and Des will. (Smiles slightly) At least Des'll be lucky.. she'll have two dads out of this.

DRAKE: (Nods) You have a point there. Good luck, Nicole.

Nikki walks out of the office as Drake can't help but look at her a bit wantingly. He takes a deep breath and sits back down, knowing what he's done is either going to drive JMC to finally break his family's curse or make him wallow in it.

Love and Death

For the first time in awhile, Nikki takes a deep breath before entering the Cornett household. Shutting the door behind her, she calls out for the three people she desperately needs to talk to as her heart hammers against her ribcage.

NIKKI: James? Des? Rune? Can I see you guys in the living room, please?

Rune comes into the living room from the basement, and Destiny comes from her room upstairs. Rune raises his eyebrow in question upon hearing this.

RUNE: What's going on, Nik?

NIKKI: We all have something to talk about.. (She grips the folder nervously in both hands.) Where's James? He needs to be here, too. I.. I don't like it, but it needs to be said.. and I don't think I can bring myself to repeat it.

D.J.: I think Dad's in the study...let me get him.

Destiny goes to the door where the study is and knocks on it.

D.J.: DAD! Mom wants you out here!

She goes back to sit down. Meanwhile, Rune looks a little weird at her.

RUNE: Are you okay? You seem a lot sweatier than normal.

NIKKI: I'm.. alright. Just worried about something, that's all. You'll understand once I start explaining.

James finally steps out of the study, and right away he notices something is wrong.

NIKKI: I know it won't last long, but.. I think it's best if everyone sits down. This might take awhile. It has a lot to do with the past and only a bit to do with Drake, suprisingly. Though I do have info for James and Rune on why all this is going on.

JMC: Okay...this is a little off...but whatever...

He sits down in the recliner opposite of Nikki and leans back, while Rune leans forward.

RUNE: See, now you have my interest. What do you know about this?

NIKKI: First, I want to say that I'm incredibly sorry for any pain or mistrust this will undoubtedly cause. I never meant for anyone to feel this way, least of all those I love most. (Takes a deep breath) James.. you and Rune remember back in HBAW when we had that big celebration the night you won the World title?

JMC: Yeah, the same day Karyn passed away...that was a double event. As I recall, Rune, you were plastered beyond remembering your own name.

RUNE: Shut up...I try to forget that night as much as possible because of what was going on at the time.

NIKKI: Well if you remember right, I went into another room to rest. That's where the problem starts. (Pauses) When Des was born, do you remember how often Desolation kept harping on how they thought Des wasn't yours, James?

James raises his eyebrow at about the time Destiny gets a concerned look on her face.

JMC: Wait a minute...you mean to tell me this entire time that those two bumblenutted freaks were actually right? Cause that's the only reason that would even come up.

NIKKI: (Nods) They were right. (Hands James the folder with the blood tests) Des.. is Rune's. The night of the party, Rune came into the room drunk.. I thought he was you, and we.. (She glances at Des then back at James.) ..well I'm sure you can finish the sentence.

James begins to read the documents, praying that there is a mistake. Destiny, on the other hand, looks back and forth between Rune and James.

D.J.: So (points to James) he's not my dad... (points to Rune) he is?

NIKKI: As far as I'm concerned, they both are, baby. Rune is your biological father.. James is your father, even if you don't have his blood. You have two fathers.. provided they're okay with that.

RUNE: Wow...I just...I am so sorry, Nikki. I didn't realize that was you...

JMC: (in a demonic voice) Like hell you didn't...

All three now turn in shock to the man whose head is lowered. Although it seems James is distressed, the voice prompts Rune to pull Des and Nikki back.

RUNE: Trust me on this...you two are gonna want to stay back.

NIKKI: (Shields Des' body with hers) Chaos.. (Mutters) Son of a.. Drake said he'd show.. (To Rune) I can usually stop him, but.. I caused this one.. how do we handle him?

RUNE: I don't know.... (steps forward to James) Look, Shadow, I know you're ticked off at us, and you have reason to be upset with me at least...but there's a lot more going on that we need to know about.

JMC: (demon toned) And what difference is that going to make to him? Trust seems to be an issue in this family, and I can't say I wonder how the hottie managed to get this information.

D.J.: Why is he talking like that, Mom?

RUNE: This is something over two decades in the making, Des...you can thank that bitch Jenna for this mentality. Problem is, normally your mom can keep him in check. (to Nikki) What exactly do you know about what Drake's up to?

NIKKI: Drake says it was all caused by your father. James was supposed to marry Drake's daughter, but in the end, he had her turn on Drake. He knows your father cares for you guys despite what he's done, and he's taking Avidan's family away from him to 'right a wrong', in his words.

RUNE: Wait...does that mean Dad's alive? I thought he was...

JMC: (demon tone) If he is, he'll be dead in the next few days.

RUNE: Okay, shut the fuck up, Shadow. If that's the case, that jerk of a father of our might be able to fix this. Do you happen to know what the hell he's talking about?

JMC: (demon tone) Before my time, pal...

NIKKI: That's all he really told me. All I did was ask why he'd turn on James if he was his best friend, and he told me about the deal Avidan made with him. If there were any more, I'd gladly let you know to get this whole thing over with.

RUNE: That's just it....I'm trying to figure out how Dad even KNEW Drake...he didn't surface until shortly after James got into MCSFC...

Rune happens to catch sight of JMC standing up and walking toward Nikki. Rune steps between them and puts a hand on JMC's chest.

RUNE: Whoa, bucko...you know the rules....no harming the girls...

JMC: Not the girl...just the bitch.

RUNE: James, stop this!

NIKKI: I know I deserve this in some form, but had I known this before, I would've said something. Drake just now had the blood tests done for insurance purposes. (Pauses) Can I at least send Des upstairs if this is going to get violent? I don't want her hurt. She's innocent in all this, Chaos.

RUNE: Des, I know this is going to sound odd, but go to your room.

Destiny doesn't do what Rune says. Instead, she goes up to James and hugs him tightly.

D.J.: I don't care what that dumb folder says...you've always been my daddy, and that's not going to change any time soon.

James actually looks to be calming down upon hearing this and hugs her back, tearing up as he takes deep breaths. Rune sighs heavily and turns to Nikki.

RUNE: It's official--your kids are gifted beyond anything I've ever seen before. Usually once Chaos shows up, it takes violence to stop him.

NIKKI: (Shakes her head) The kids and I have always been his sanity. Since I was the one who caused this flareup, I was counted out while they weren't. She's probably the only one that could've stopped him this time.

RUNE: Give it time, he'll be back to normal...

James smiles to Destiny and kisses her forehead.

JMC: Honey, you might wanna go to your room for a while...

D.J.: Okay, Daddy. I love you.

JMC: I love you too, Desi.

Destiny heads upstairs as James closes his eyes and breathes deeply.

JMC: Tell me you two didn't know any of this prior to today, because somehow those two morons found out before we did about this.

RUNE: Oh, no, I didn't have a clue. At the time, you two were still pissed at me for my former habits, remember? The last thing I would have willingly done was that.

NIKKI: No.. nothing. Like I said a few minutes ago, I thought he was you when he came in, so I was under the impression she had always been yours. I had no idea until Drake showed me the tests and told me to think about it.

JMC: Why would Drake have told you any of this information, anyway? I mean, I'm not trying to be offensive, Nicole, but you're the last person that Drake would have said some of this to.

NIKKI: I honestly have no idea. He said he'd had the blood tests done as part of the insurance renewal. During our conversation, which was surprisingly civil, I asked why he was doing this, which is when he brought up the deal he'd made with your father. He also told me that none of this was done to harm me or the kids.. just your father.

JMC: Sounds about like a pickle Dad would get himself into...he was always trying to wheel and deal.

RUNE: You know, a thought comes to mind, bro...what if our tribulations over the last two decades have been as a result of Dad's fuckup? I mean, he always had a habit of crossing the gods wrong...

JMC: You know, that's not a bad theory. It certainly would explain everything that's occurred...

NIKKI: (Recalling the conversation) He said your father had pulled a similar scheme on him before I knew all of you.. (Pauses, thinking) ..he also said that Auron was going to reveal the paternity results as some sort of investigation he'd been doing for a few years now.

RUNE: Which tells me someone's been digging into our past. (gets his coat) I need to inform Ashtyn about this. She might be the only one that still has a way to get ahold of Dad. You two gonna be cool?

Nikki looks toward James, who has collapsed into the chair with his head in his hands.

NIKKI: (Nods) I think so.. (Hesitantly) ..I hope so.

Silently, she goes over to sit in the chair next to James', not sure on what she could possibly say to make him feel better. She knew finding out like this would hurt him, but he had to know.. before Auron opened his big mouth.

NIKKI: James.. for what it's worth, I'm sorry. I had no idea.. and if I had, I would've told you right then.

For the first time in awhile, she's actually hesitant to touch him, scared of how he might react, so she decides to keep her hands in her lap.

NIKKI: I hope you can forgive me, James.. never want to hurt you, especially concerning the kids. I'm sure you know that.. right?

JMC: I know that....it's just....I don't understand how two guys known for smoking a type of grass normally associated with horses could have seen this before we did...

NIKKI: Maybe they had help? I mean.. it's possible someone looked into the room without saying something and we didn't know they were there. On the same note, there could've been cameras hidden somewhere that we weren't aware of. There's a number of possibilities. Seeing that Drake had the thought to check the blood tests, maybe it was him or Auron, since he's in the picture now.

JMC: I don't care...I broke things off with you once before over this. I'm not doing it again. I love you and the kids too much to do that. Baby, they can say what they want...

He goes over to her and holds her hand gently, kissing her lightly on the lips.

JMC: You think I would give up my Angelfire because of something that happened seventeen years ago? You'd be wrong.

Hearing this, she seems to deflate like a popped balloon with a sigh of relief, doubling over only to press her body to his chest. She nearly cries tears of joy and relief knowing she still has her family.

NIKKI: (Quietly) Thank you.. you have no idea how terrified I was that I was going to lose you guys. I thought I'd have to go live with Cres and Ri.

JMC: Baby, in the eighteen years we've been married, we've had everyone from Spyder Gainey to Andross try to break us up. If a wannabe lawyer like Drake Askari thinks a paternity issue is going to end us after everything we've been through...he doesn't understand love. (scratches his head) But something doesn't make sense...

NIKKI: (Looks up at him) With this family, it's par for the course.. but what're you thinking?

JMC: (laughs a bit) That's why I love you, Nicole. You always have that sense of humor. No, what I was thinking was this...when the hell did Drake ever have a daughter? In the time I've known him, he's never made mention of her...

NIKKI: He says she was made to turn on him, so maybe he never said anything because he didn't want to remember. I'm sure you wouldn't want to remember it if one of our kids turned on you.. I mean, that's pretty harsh.. and with help from someone you considered a friend? That's even worse.

JMC: Yeah, but let's think about this...Dad wasn't exactly the most trustworthy person in North Manchester. He actually tried trading Karyn to a local dealer known as 'Poppers' in order to get some smack, and the only reason Poppers wouldn't do it was because Dad didn't have a terminal illness. He was a weird dealer....

NIKKI: Which begs the question.. why make a deal with someone when you know they can't be trusted with their own kids, let alone yours? That's just plain stupid.

JMC: I think there's more to the story than Drake's letting on...but until one of us talks to Dad...we have no way of knowing what the hell's going on.

NIKKI: Do you really think your dad's gonna come clean about this after so long? What's he got to gain from it? Those types of people.. that's all they think about. It's why he was so willing to sell Karyn off for drugs.. because he was getting something out of it.

JMC: Dad may not have a choice...at the last time I actually heard from her, Mom said he wasn't doing too good. Course, that's been a few years ago.... (smirks) Then again, I think you meeting my parents has been long overdue.

NIKKI: (Laughs) Do you really trust me to meet your father? After what I've heard about him, I'm wanting to punch him a few good times, no matter how long ago it was. Your mother may not have helped matters any, but she's not as bad as your father was.

JMC: On the contrary, I think he needs a good asskicking, especially if Rune's theory is right. He's at least owed that at the minimum. Mom's a total sweetheart, and she always encouraged me to step up and protect my sisters. If I was hurt, so be it, but I wouldn't let Dad or Andross hurt Karyn and Ashtyn.

NIKKI: So that's why Rune said that. When Shadow was heading for Des and I, Rune got between me and you and told him 'you know the rules, no harming the girls'. I know he wasn't around then, but would that have made any difference to him?

JMC: To an extent. Family has always been off limits to Shadow Chaos, I established that as a rule toward him from the start. The only reason he breaks that rule is if he feels I'm being threatened. With Rune here, that helped, although I doubt he would have done anything but yell at you. (shudders) I wish you didn't have to see that, though....

NIKKI: (Shakes her head) To be honest, I wasn't scared of him.. only of losing you and the kids over this. I had Des blocked, so he would've had to go through Rune and myself to get to her.. though he did say he didn't want to hurt her, just me.. which is completely understandable since I'm the one who gave him a reason to come to the surface.

JMC: I'm sorry...I usually have a better handle on him than that...but then again, this may have been the reaction that Drake was banking on. He wasn't being jerkish or anything, was he?

NIKKI: Drake, no. Shadow, not as bad as it could've been. He was just mad at Rune and me, mostly. (Laughs) He actually called me a hottie, which was rather surprising.. then called me a bitch in the next breath. He's very bi-polar. Des had no idea what was going on, but she was the one that stopped him, even though Rune and I told her to leave the room for her own safety. Your girl's a brave one.

JMC: Look who her mom is. (winks) I actually had meant Drake. A conversation between you two had to have some classic curse words. (starts acting like a diva) Seriously, did he call you a lint-licker in front of the entire building?

NIKKI: (Laughs) No, it was actually a civil conversation after I got done being bitchy over why he called me there. He complimented my logical approach to it all and actually shook my hand like a proper gentleman. Made me wonder what he was up to.

JMC: That's the way he's always been, though. So long as you show him the proper respect, he'll be reasonable with you. Something I wish Charity would learn yet. If she keeps fighting back against him and not giving us a chance to figure this out, she's only going to make things worse on herself.

NIKKI: Yeah.. do you think telling her this will make her back down? Maybe give us some breathing room while we get things in order? I mean.. if we all sit down and have a civil conversation with the man, we might get somewhere among all this bickering and trick-pulling.

JMC: From what I'm to understand, Drake has already tried to be civil with her and she continues to resist him. I'm not saying she needs to bend over backwards for the guy, but she needs to appeal to his intellectual side.

NIKKI: And contrary to what he's been acting like, he is an incredibly smart man. Not as smart as you are, but he's smart. (Pauses) I wonder if he knew you'd fight this when he concocted it?

JMC: It very well could be. Drake's got a twisted sense of identity when it comes to morals, but whatever he's doing has got to be tied into a bigger purpose. It makes sense that this spins off of what Dad did. We need to set up a time to talk to him and Mom about this whole thing. If they have any idea what's going on, they'll let me know.

NIKKI: Rune went to call Ash to see if she had a number to reach your parents at. I'm sure he'll report in if he finds out anything.. but that's all Drake hinted at. Your father started it, Auron is going to blab about it, Desolation knew years ago, and Linds is a part of a much bigger picture that involves the deal he had with your father.

JMC: (holds his hands up) Whoa...hold up. He said Lindsay was part of this whole mess, but not D.J. or Eugene? This isn't good at all... (stands up) Make room...I've gotta pace.

James begins walking in circles, his favorite activity when he was trying to think of certain things.

NIKKI: (Sits back in the chair, making sure not to get in his way) That's what he said. He said no harm was to come to Des, Eugene or me.. but Linds is a factor in this whole 'revenge on Avidan' plot. I don't see how, unless he figured he'd get a brand new daughter out of it to replace the one he'd lost in the original deal.

JMC: No, there's more to this story that he's not fessing up to. In order for Lindsay to be a specific part of this plan, but not the other two, this means it has to do with Lindsay's biological mother...but if that's the case, that means he's getting back at Jenna too...but that doesn't make sense, because Jenna has no direct connection to Drake....none of this makes any goddamn sense! Why would he target Jenna and myself....

James stops and raises his head. He quickly pulls his Behold II out and dials a number from his phone book. He gets a message saying the person isn't at the phone and hangs up.

JMC: Something's going on...I can't get ahold of Jaxan's phone...and that's the main number Jenna told me to call first.

NIKKI: He wants your father alienated like he was.. though I don't see what it has to do with you. He told me a general idea of how the deal went, but no details.. and details is what we need right now to figure this out. (Thinks) He said your father had agreed to have you marry Drake's daughter, but at the last minute, Avidan had her turn on Drake. How would all that involve Linds and us at all?

JMC: If what I'm thinking is the case, Lindsay would be the exact catalyst he'd need.

He dials a second number. This time, he manages to get through to someone.

JMC: Laci? It's James...what's going on? I tried to....WHAT?!? You gotta be...shit...is Charity there? But she's aware of it, right? Look, don't go anywhere, I'll be right there. I've got some info Jenna and Charity need to know about.

NIKKI: (Stands, ready to dart out the door if needed) What? What's going on? Should I call for Rune and let him in on it?

JMC: That was Laci, Jenna's daughter. Jaxan and Hunter have been murdered...and based on the seven point five ounces of sassafrass left at the scene, I've got a good goddamn guess as to who it was. Jenna's hysterical, and I can guess how Charity's doing. I have to go find out what's going on and let them know what I've found out.

NIKKI: Dear gods.. do you want me to come with you? I'm the one he told, but if you want me here with the kids, I'll stay. Just know I'm gonna want to call every five minutes just to see if you're okay if I have to stay here.

JMC: No, if my theory about how Lindsay's involved in all of this is even CLOSE to right, I need you here to make sure the kids are okay. (gets his leather coat on) Baby...you are a godsend to me every day, and I just want you to know that.

NIKKI: (Nods) I love you.. and if anything happens to you, heads are going to roll.. trust me on that. You and the kids are everything to me, and I'll be damned if I'm going to lose any of you to some half-witted revenge scheme. (Kisses him) Go and see to Jenna and Charity.. be careful.

JMC: I will. (kisses her back) I love you too. I'll keep in contact while I'm gone.

James bounds out the door and turns, blowing Nikki one last kiss before shutting the door behind him. Knowing the kids are safely tucked away in their rooms doing thier own thing, she takes a portable mini-cam out of her bag and sets it up before pressing record.

NIKKI: As all of you can probably tell, I have a lot to deal with at the moment. I just found out both Jaxan and Hunter Donimari are dead, and even though Drake said no harm will come to me, Des, or Eugene, I can't help but worry about my family. It still doesn't seem right to torture those you consider friends just for some deal with their father that went south. As I told Drake earlier today, it's starting to sound like the Klingon Empire, and that's never a positive thing.

As far as this weekend goes.. I face Charity, and she's going through just as much, if not more shit than we are. I really do feel for the girl.. after all, she's actually married to Drake now. The man is smart and civilized when he wants to be, but he hasn't treated her as if he is. It honestly worries me, but I'm sure she can handle it. She wouldn't have come this far in life if she couldn't handle some rough treatment. I do want to help her and her family.. and I will, along with James and the others.. but this week, it'll be different. I hate the fact I'm facing the owner of the company, but there's nothing I can do about it. What she and Drake says goes, and that's it. Unfortunately, there's a stipulation neither of us are aware of and Drake has yet to make mention of it. It could be nearly anything, knowing that man.. and that's what worries me. I suppose I'll have to wing it this weekend. I just hope next weekend is better than this.

It just so happens that her husband is Brandon, and I face him for the World Heavyweight Championship at the pay-per-view. I'll address him more when the time comes, but I'm determined to make peace with the Donimaris and end this whole thing with Drake once and for all, no matter what wrenches he throws into the works. I just pray the company doesn't implode while we work on it. Have faith in us, guys.. we'll deal with it for you.
