Storm lost to Homicide.. and Armando proved him right. Next?

SCENE 01: BEER MONEY VS A CONSPIRACY?

Apparently a drunk's word is better than we think these days, cause last week Armando proved Storm's hunches right - he indeed worked with LAX. Ever since that moment, Storm has been hounding Roode, insisting that he admit he was right. We join them and Miss Jackie in the middle of one of those moments. This week, James is wearing an untucked white shirt with a black lined pattern on it, scruffed up jeans, and cowboy boots along with his ever present cowboy hat and a beer in one hand. Roode, however, is a bit more conservative, wearing a plain white button up shirt that's tucked into a pair of black slacks, which nearly cover the top of his shiny, Italian leather shoes.

"All I'm sayin' is... I'm right. On that alone, you gotta agree with me!"

"I've said it more than enough, Storm. You're right. LAX has recruited Estrada. Happy now?"

Storm stops to think about this then continues his rant.

"No! No, I'm not! Dammit, Robert, everybody is with LAX! If you're not white or black, you're with LAX! It's as simple as that!"

Roode puts his duffel bag down and turns to Storm, clearly annoyed by all of this. Rubbing his forehead, he sighs, looking close to giving in to Storm.

"Fine... fine... let's go with that, Storm. Let's say that everybody that isn't white or black is with LAX... in that case, is Lou Diamond Phillips in LAX?"

"Ain't he the guy from La Bamba?"

"Yeah... alright, how about Antonio Banderas?"

"Puss in Boots from Shrek?"

"Marc Antony?"

"Who's that?"

"J-Lo's husband."

"Oh... naw, he's too damn wimpy."

"Alright, how about J-Lo herself?"

"Yeah... she's just as good as Selenas... she still can't sing worth a damn, but she could give Selenas a run for her money."

Roode sighs again, shaking his head.

"Not everybody is in LAX, Storm. Not all Latinos are like them. I happen to know a few. Granted, they work for Microsoft, but that's beside the point."

"They are! When I say everybody, I mean everybody!"

"Alright, whatever, Storm. No matter what you think, though, we still have to face Carlito and Homicide this week."

"For our belts?"

"No. This is just a match to see if they deserve a shot. If they win, they get one, if they don't, then.. they don't."

"Then they can look forward to going after some other guy's title, cause they ain't gettin mine."

"Well how we do tonight determines that, Storm, so please... don't screw this up, okay?"

"Screw this up? Screw it up? Roode, what's our records say?"

"Yours says eight and three, mine is seven and two."

"Exactly! Exactly. What about that says I'm a screw up? What about these.." He points to the title over his shoulder. "...says I'm a screw up? We'll get it, man. Don't worry. We'll beat them and they'll be speakin Spanish to some other poor dude next week."

"Yeah, well I sure hope so. Now come on and get ready. I got time to check my stocks and write checks for Robert Roode Incorporated while I'm waiting on your slow ass to get ready for Fusion."

"Whut, you sayin I'm slow?"

"No, I'm saying that you take as much time as a woman does in the damn bathroom."

"Just make sure you're lookin in a mirror when you say that, Roode.. people can tell just by lookin at us that you take more time than I do."

"Well I have a reputation to uphold.. I have an appearance to perfect... you... not so much. Now get in there already."

Storm complies, but mutters as he makes his way to the showers.

"Not so much, my ass... I look prettier than you do, and I ain't even gotta try that hard."

The scene fades out to black as Storm keeps muttering. Will LAX indeed lose any rights to the tag titles like Storm's predicted? Will LAX get a shot at the tag gold next week? Most importantly, IS J-Lo a part of LAX? These questions and more will be answered... tonight... on WIW's Fusion.
