Mesa, AZ It's a larger crowd this week than it was last week. The fans are very noisy as they make their way to their seats and get ready for the second edition of Assault. As they get ready to watch some action, we hear "Breathe" by Swollen Members featuring Nelly Furtado and we see Kelly Buchanan making her way towards the ring. The crowd gives her a few catcalls while one fan holds up a sign that states "Kelly Fears Myst." Kelly then rolls herself into the ring before then standing in the center of the ring and smiling. Kelly Buchanan - You know, we here at AW have been served notice that the Assault name belongs to the old defunct CWA. We understand that Shannon Skanes states that this company is resting on the accomplishments and talent he set forth in the past. Tonight... we prove him and all the doubters wrong. Kelly's speech is interrupted as "The Hand That Feeds" by Nine Inch Nails plays and Shannon Skanes comes out to a rousing ovation from the crowd. He high fives fans on his way to the ring, a bandage on his forehead as a result of the attack he took off camera last week. Shannon quickly jumps over the top rope into the ring where he then snatches the microphone away from Kelly. Shannon Skanes - Boy, what a week you've had Kelly! You had to get off your back long enough to find out the accusations I was making? You know what? I don't care. AW can play itself off as something it isn't if it wants to. I really could care less. I know the truth of the matter and if others don't see it, that's not my problem. I know the CWA and GWO broke ground and did things no other federation dared to. We took nobodies and made them big stars. We never turned anyone away and, best of all, we had the best damned events anyone in this business had ever seen. Kelly Buchanan - Until last week. Kelly and Shannon stand nose to nose as the crowd starts cheering louder, anticipating some violence here. A chant for Shannon starts slowly, but quickly gets almost deafening. The chant grows quiet as we then hear "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult and a man we haven't seen before makes his way out from the back towards the ring, a smirk on his face as he adjusts his black tie. He's clad in a three piece suit and the crowd is clearly interested to see who this guy is and what he's about. He makes his way up the ring steps, casually enters the ring and then produces a microphone of his own from his suit jacket pocket. Jason Knight - Allow me to introduce myself. I am Jason Knight. I am the newly hired commissioner of Anarchy Wrestling. Mister Skanes, you are not an active roster member here and I want you out of the building. Shannon Skanes - Are you going to remove me, Knight? Jason Knight - If that's what it takes... Shannon turns away from Kelly to confront Knight and Kelly lifts her knee, low blowing the former GWO owner as security rushes into the ring. Shannon stumbles backward and is in the clutches of a half dozen security guards before he has a chance to hit Kelly back. The crowd boos as Shannon is pulled from the ring and Jason Knight enjoys a laugh at his expense. Jason Knight - Fans, please, you need to understand here. Shannon Skanes is the past and he is not here to be the support that we need right now. AW is going to be a grand company with Vesuvius paying the cheques and me running the shows. He will simply hold us back. I cannot allow that. Knight pauses as the crowd starts chanting "Ass-hole" in his direction. He rolls his eyes. Jason Knight - No, no, no, this isn't about me. Tonight is a big night. We have two huge matches and we have some big things to announce for next week. You see, Kelly here will be a very famous young lady now that she has proper leadership. Next week, our ring announcer and extraordinary interviewer will do a strip tease for this crowd. Seeing as it's Christmas, we'll make it for a good cause. For every thousand dollars that Anarchy Wrestling fans give at next week's event, she will remove one article of clothing. The more you fans give, the more you see. Catcalls erupt again and Kelly blows a kiss to a fan in the front row. She winks for the camera as well. Jason Knight - I hope Mesa is more generous than I think it will be. If it is, the Anarchy poster girl will become the most exposed person on television. It's up to you. AW is going to be the most innovative, daring and original company of its kind in the world. AW will be all of those things because they were smart enough to hire me. "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult plays again as Knight leads Kelly out of the ring and they start for the back. We then hear "Du Hast" by Rammstein as the opening credits roll. We see images of Myst, Gerard Angelo, The Nameless, Rated R, Dustin Walters, 6Pac Dudley, Tommy Purr, Hoshi Yakamoto and finally of Daniel McCoy before we head to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are all set to call the action. Ricky Simms - Well, the new commissioner makes a bold statement here by having our former boss removed. Henry Lesher - No one cares. Myst vs Thibor Dragosani vs Nameless vs Gerard Angelo vs Dustin Walters "Mine Teil" by Rammstein plays as Vesuvius makes his way towards the ring, clad in a referee's shirt. The crowd greets him with a rather mixed response as he slowly makes his way to ringside and then around the ring. We see an Anarchy Inc. symbol on the chest of his shirt. Vesuvius makes his way up the steps and then enters the ring as his music starts to fade. The crowd then cheers as the lights go out. They are out for a few moments and then, when they come back up, all five participants are inside the ring. Vesuvius calls for the bell and all five start brawling inside the ring with the exception of Nameless who stands in the corner and watches. Ricky Simms - This is the first of two big matches tonight. The winners of these matches will next week face off for the Anarchy Wrestling title. Henry Lesher - Yes, my bet is on The Nameless. I mean, look at him. He is going to make people bleed. Myst takes a hip toss to the middle of the ring from Thibor. Gerard Angelo ties Dustin Walters up in the ropes. Gerard then starts driving shoulder blocks into Dustin as referee Vesuvius stands and smiles rather than trying to offer any help to Dustin here. Thibor stands Myst up. She knees Thibor below the belt, turns and sees Nameless watching her. She backs away from him, trips into Thibor who then pulls her to the mat and applies a sleeper hold. Vesuvius immediately starts asking her if she submits here. He asks her again and the camera shows her shaking her head. Vesuvius then turns his back to her as Dustin breaks free from the ropes and starts landing punches to the face on Gerard. Dustin backs Gerard into the corner and then gives him a vertical suplex out of there and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Dustin then stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him to the mat. Namelesss then finally does something here, charging and clotheslining Dustin so hard her lands face down on the mat. Gerard then rolls Dustin over for the pin. 1...2...3! Dustin has been eliminated! Ricky Simms - Dear Lord, I think Nameless nearly tore his head off. Henry Lesher - With that, Dustin's latest push for the top dies a quick death. Gerard then gets to his feet as Myst continues to struggle against the sleeper. Gerard starts putting the boots to Thibor and that breaks the hold. Gerard then stands Thibor up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him to the mat. Thibor then quickly gets to his feet and stands face to face with Gerard. Thibor and Gerard start trading punches as Myst uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Nameless moves towards Myst, grabs her by the hair and her eyes become wide when she sees him. She shoves him away, but her momentum then sends her through the ropes and to the floor. Nameless then turns and clotheslines both Gerard and Thibor to the mat. Nameless then opts to drop and roll himself out of the ring rather than go for the pin on either of them. Myst gets to her feet and backs away from Nameless. Ricky Simms - I have never seen Myst actually scared of anyone before. Henry Lesher - Nameless is a monster. He will destroy everyone in his way and I will enjoy watching it happen. Myst rolls herself into the ring as Gerard and Thibor both reach their hands and knees. Myst slaps the Mystifyer on Thibor as the crowd cheers. Gerard gets to his feet as Nameless rolls himself back into the ring. Gerard starts putting the boots to Nameless. Myst maintains her hold on Thibor and we see him clearly tapping out. Referee Vesuvius refuses to acknowledge it. Myst screams at Vesuvius that Thibor is going to have a broken back if he doesn't call him out. Vesuvius answers that with a kick to the face on Myst. Ricky Simms - That's about right. I knew Vesuvius would pull something like this. Henry Lesher - Oh, come on, he had to assert himself. Thibor gets to his feet as Myst lays inside the ring, clearly dazed from the unexpected kick she took. The crowd explodes as Rated R appears through the crowd, slips into the ring behind Vesuvius and then clotheslines him face down to the mat. He then stands Vesuvius up, pulls him to the corner and delivers the Restricted! Rated R then clotheslines Thibor to the mat and then stands him up and gives him the Restricted as well. He turns and comes face to face with Gerard Angelo. Ricky Simms - What's going to happen? Two leaders of YA come face to face here! Henry Lesher - This is when Rated R redeems himself by dropping Myst and showing this was all an act. Rated R backs away from Gerard and then rolls out of the ring. Referee Mark Davis then hits the ring to take over the refereeing duties from Vesuvius. Myst goes for the pin on Thibor. 1...2...3! Thibor has been eliminated. Ricky Simms - Heavy assist to the former GWO champion on that one. Henry Lesher - Well, yeah, I saw it too Rick. Gerard stands Nameless up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him. The dropkick causes Nameless to fall backward and his hands get tangled up in the ropes. Gerard's eyes meet Myst's and then they turn and each give Nameless a superkick to the chest. They then pull him free from the ropes and gives him a vertical suplex to the middle of the ring. Gerard and Myst then stand him up and set for another. Nameless fights back with a knee to the gut on Gerard and then wraps his hands around the throat of Myst. She suddenly appears to be terrified here as he backs her into the corner. He picks her up by the throat and turns, tossing her to the middle of the ring. Henry Lesher - I may be in love. Gerard gets to his feet and starts landing rights and lefts to the face on Nameless. Nameless then headbutts Gerard and then hip tosses him over the top rope and out to the floor. Nameless then stands Myst up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a big boot to the face that sends her down to the mat. Nameless then picks Myst up by the throat and holds her there, choking her. Referee Davis only watches her choke their for a few moments before he declares her to be out of the match. Ricky Simms - She never submitted. Henry Lesher - He was crushing her throat. Gerard rolls himself into the ring as Myst chokes and rolls herself out to the floor. Nameless wraps his hands around the throat of Gerard and stands him up. Gerard low blows the big man and then headbutts him to break the hold. Gerard then shoves Nameless into the corner and gives him a series of shoulderblocks there. The crowd appears to be getting behind Gerard in this one. As Myst starts to make her way towards the back, we see Vesuvius readying to head her off, a belt in his hands and a smile on his face. From the crowd, a chair flies and nails Vesuvius in the side of the head. The camera turns and we see Noah Skanes climbing onto and then launching himself off of the railing and onto the Anarchy owner. Henry Lesher - The Skanes family is determined to ruin this show tonight! Ricky Simms - Noah is just standing up for his mother. He had seen enough. I understand it's his birthday today. Henry Lesher - For his birthday he gets his ass kicked by Vesuvius. As security rushes out to get Noah off of the now bloodied Vesuvius, we see Nameless getting whipped off the ropes and backdropped to the mat by Gerard Angelo. Gerard then leg drops Nameless across the throat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Nameless. Gerard then stands Nameless up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a dropkick as Nameless side steps it. He then wraps his hands around the throat of Gerard, stands him up, picks him up and choke slams him to the mat. Nameless then rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair, throws it into the ring and then slips back inside the ring as well. He picks up the chair and slams it across Gerard's back four times. He then pulls Gerard into the corner and looks around at the crowd once. He then lands the Final Shot and then goes for the pin on Gerard. 1...2...3! Nameless is the winner. Ricky Simms - Dear God, that man is a monster. Henry Lesher - Oh he is dreamy, isn't he? All the violence and mayhem and hatred. I wonder if he needs a genetic doctor for anything. As "Start a War" by Static X plays, we see security still struggling with Noah and Vesuvius. Myst, meanwhile, has already headed to the back for medical attention. Backstage we see Ray Dees with Rated R. Ray Dees - Ryan, this saving Myst thing, you have done it twice now. This is unusual behavior for you. Rated R - And it's none of your business. I just really hate Vesuvius. Ray Dees - But why save Myst? Rated R - You know, Ray, I already said it was none of your business. I meant that. Ray Dees - The fans want to know why. Rated R - The fans want to know a lot of things. Ray Dees - You're being evasive. Rated R - Am I? Ray Dees - You came face to face with Gerard there and we all wonder what happens if he and Myst square off, who do you help? Rated R - I help myself. That's how I am. Ray Dees - Any comment on WWE's stealing your very identity by crowning Edge as the Rated R Superstar. Rated R - WWE steals a lot from me. My lawyers are looking into it and have advised against me elaborating any further. Ray Dees - Thanks for your time then. Rated R - It was your pleasure. Ryan then walks away and Ray shrugs towards the camera. Scavenger vs Daniel McCoy vs Hoshi Yakamoto vs Halloween Jack vs 6Pac Dudley "Tiny Rubberband" by Butthole Surfers plays as Shengee Shmelky makes his way down the aisle, the surprising referee for the second semi-final match. Behind him walk the five participants in the match. Shengee steps onto the apron and into the ring where the fans cheer him. The five wrestlers then enter the ring as Shengee calls for the bell. Henry Lesher - Couldn't Jason Knight find a cameraman who could referee this one? Ricky Simms - I heard people talking backstage about this one. Shengee is here to make sure Scavenger wins the match. That is the only reason he's out here. Vesuvius knows he can intimidate the Shmelky Brothers and he wants Scavenger as the champ. Henry Lesher - Why? Scav sucks. The match starts with Hoshi and McCoy exchanging punches, McCoy gaining the upper hand on strength alone. 6Pac whips Scavenger off the ropes and Halloween Jack clotheslines Scav to the mat, 6Pac and Jack apparently working together at the beginning here. 6Pac and Jack stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and miss with a double clothesline as Scavenger ducks it. Scavenger then hip tosses 6Pac over the top rope to the floor and spears Jack to the mat. Scavenger then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack. Scavenger then turns to Shengee and tells him he's counting too slow. Shengee argues that three seconds is what he is supposed to be measuring. He and Scavenger have an exchange and Jack rolls Scavenger up from behind and into a small package. Shengee counts the pin faster. 1..2..3! Scavenger has been eliminated! Scavenger rolls himself out of the ring and starts losing his temper. He shoves the cameraman down and kicks the guard railing before he then picks up a chair and slams it against the apron. Scavenger then makes his way towards the back, shaking his head. Henry Lesher - Do we have an official time on how long it took the idiot to screw that up? Ricky Simms - Mere seconds. Daniel McCoy whips Hoshi off the ropes. She ducks a clothesline and gives McCoy a reverse neckbreaker to the mat. Hoshi then kips up to her feet where 6Pac gives her a superkick that sends her into the corner. 6Pac then nods towards Halloween Jack and then both pull Hoshi from the corner and then give her a double brainbuster. Jack then goes for an aggorant pin with one finger on her stomach. 1...2... Hoshi rolls out of it. 6Pac takes exception with Jack's pinfall attempt and shoves him. Jack then lands a jawbreaker on 6Pac that sends him stumbling into the corner. Ricky Simms - That alliance didn't last. Henry Lesher - Lasted longer than Shengee's reliability as a referee. Halloween Jack whips 6Pac off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. 6Pac rolls himself out of the ring and quickly gets to his feet. He turns and sees Tommy Purr standing in the front row. The crowd cheers around then as they exchange words. 6Pac tells Tommy he has a message for him from Lightning and then gives him a stiff upper cut to the chin and the fight is on. Inside the ring, Hoshi is stood up by McCoy and whipped into the corner. Halloween Jack then catches McCoy off guard with a spear to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Daniel McCoy kicks out. Jack stands McCoy up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline as McCoy ducks it. McCoy then gives Jack a German suplex to the mat, stands him up and delivers a second German suplex before briding into a pinfall attempt. 1...2... kick out by Halloween Jack. Hoshi pulls herself out of the corner and stands Daniel McCoy up and then whips him into the corner. She monkey flips McCoy out of the corner and then she kips up to her feet where she quickly ducks a punch from Jack. She pulls the legs out from under Jack and then looks to the crowd who are cheering her on. Ricky Simms - This is really impressing the crowd here. Henry Lesher - Who cares? That's Tommy Purr! At ringside, 6Pac and Tommy are still brawling. 6Pac grabs a chair and manages to strike Tommy across the forehead with it. 6Pac then turns and heads back into the ring as Tommy staggers and fights to keep his balance. 6Pac enters the ring with the chair in hand and drills Daniel McCoy with it, then does the same to Hoshi Yakamoto. No sooner has she fallen to the mat than we see Bart Phillips racing to the ring. He slips in behind 6Pac and places him in a Cobra Clutch sleeper while Shengee Shmelky looks like the terrified pretend referee that he is. Ricky Simms - I know this match is no DQ, but there's not even a semblence of control being shown here by Shengee. Henry Lesher - That has a lot to do with the fact he's an idiot. Halloween Jack rolls himself out of the ring and he manages to grab a chair as Hoshi joins him on the floor. She grabs a chair as well. They then proceed to chair shot each other as Daniel McCoy rolls himself out of the ring. He looks down at the fallen pair and opts to stands Hoshi up and roll her into the ring. McCoy rolls himself into the ring and goes for the pin. 1...2... Bart Phillips kicks McCoy in the head to break things up, allowing 6Pac to get free of the hold. 6Pac gives Bart Phillips a stunner that sends him down to the mat. A dazed Halloween Jack pulls himself into the ring and 6Pac gives him a stunner as well. 6Pac then goes for the pin on Jack. 1...2...3! Halloween Jack is out of this match. Ricky Simms - Shengee counts the pin, but he really needs to get Bart Phillips out of there. Henry Lesher - Shengee's an idiot. Halloween Jack rolls himself out of the ring as Hoshi pulls herself to her feet. 6Pac goes for a stunner on her, but she shoves him away, knees him in the gut and then lands a springboard bulldog on 6Pac before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Daniel McCoy manages to sneak out of the action to the floor where he catches his breath. Bart Phillips gets to his feet and he and Hoshi both whip 6Pac off the ropes and double clothesline him down to the mat. We then see Lightning racing into the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Lightning lands a dropkick first on Bart and then lands one on Hoshi. Bart Phillips staggers backwards and falls through the ropes to the floor where Daniel McCoy gives him a DDT to the floor. Lightning then gives Hoshi a swinging neckbreaker to the mat as Daniel McCoy rolls himself into the ring. McCoy gives Lightning a knee to the back and then an arm drag right through the ropes to the floor. McCoy then picks Hoshi up and power slams her to the mat. He then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Hoshi has been eliminated! Ricky Simms - McCoy taking advantage here of the fact no one was paying any attention to him. Henry Lesher - When someone I like does that, you usually brand them a coward for it. Daniel McCopy stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and 6Pac ducks a clothesline. He and McCoy then start trading punches in the middle of the ring. Tommy Purr then rolls himself into the ring, a chair in hand now. Purr drills 6Pac in the back of the head with the chair and then bows to the crowd before he exits the ring. Daniel McCoy goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Daniel McCoy upsets everyone in this match with the unexpected victory! Ricky Simms - McCoy wins here. He earns the reward of facing that monster Nameless next week. Henry Lesher - Nice knowing you, McCoy. Say hi to Scotty in heaven after next Wednesday's carnage is done. Ricky Simms - You're a sick man. We see an attractive blonde entering Jason Knight's office. He smiles and rises from his chair to greet her. Jason Knight - Why, hello there. I don't remember hiring you, but welcome to the company. Blonde - I am here to deliver a message. Jason Knight - Oh I can't wait to hear it. Blonde - Your employer Vesuvius threw Shannon Skanes out of here earlier tonight. Your employer also advertised an opening for a match against him next week, an open challenge I am here to accept. Jason Knight - *laughs* You're going to fight Vesuvius? Blonde - No, but Shannon's special envoy into AW will. Jason Knight - Special envoy? Oh that's rich. Who is he? Blonde - Q. The crowd explodes with a cheer that's never greeted that name before. Jason Knight falls back into his chair as the blonde then turns and leaves. Jason Knight - Vesuvius is going to be pissed. That said, the show then fades to black. |
