Insurgence, December 17th, 2006 New York, NY Madison Square Garden is all set for some exciting action between AW wrestlers tonight. We look backstage where Wyatt Gibson is in his office with Hector Braun. Wyatt Gibson - You think something is going down tonight? Hector Braun - *nods* Yeah, I do. Things are a little too quiet backstage. Wyatt Gibson - Maybe I should see what I can find out. Hector Braun - No, I don't see any of the wrestlers confiding in you anytime soon. Wyatt Gibson - I guess that leaves me just watching tonight then. Did you see the shot the CWA took at us? Hector Braun - Yes, but I would be more concerned with the UCW guys at this point. Wyatt Gibson - I've talked to Maybon about this fight he has started. Scavenger's over there, too. This could get ugly, you know. Hector Braun - Wyatt, if my hunch is right about the backstage quiet, everything is about to get really ugly. We hear "Coming Undone" by Korn as we see images of Rated R, Max Cameron, Tommy Purr, Vigilante, The Moose, Parker Davis, Craven Broderick and Hoshi Yakamoto before we head to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are once again set to call the action tonight. Craven Broderick vs. Max Cameron "It's Raining Men" by The Weathergirls plays as Craven Broderick comes out onto the stage where the fans greet him... her with a confused sort of reaction one might give to such a sight. Craven makes his way down the ramp with a Tommy Purr poster in hand and tells the camera that it is true love forever before he then hands the poster to a fan at ringside who doesn't appear to be sure what to do with it. Craven then rolls himself into the ring and springs to his feet where he then bows to the fans. Craven's music then fades and we hear "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC and Max Cameron comes out onto the stage where the fans give him a mixed reaction as well, though not because of any ambiguous sexuality issues. Ricky Simms - It is going to be a quick night tonight as we only have two matches on tap. Henry Lesher - Yeah and we get next week off. Hey, anything that involved not seeing idiots like Max Cameron and Hoshi more often is a good thing to me. Max Cameron reaches ringside and looks in at Craven Broderick. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Referee Mark Davis calls for the bell as max then locks up with Craven. Craven shoves max into the corner and then gives him a series of punches to the chest. Craven then gives Max a forearm upper cut and then gives him a hip toss to the mat. Once Max gets to his feet, Craven then applies an abdominal stretch on Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - Craven showing a lot of energy early in this one. Henry Lesher - That's just how the most beautiful diva in AW rolls. Ricky Simms - Diva? Dear Lord, Doc... Max refuses to submit to Craven's hold and starts to power his way out. He then manages to give Craven a hip toss to the mat which breaks the hold. Max then whips Craven off the ropes and gives him a dropkick down to the mat. Max then quickly lands a leg drop across the throat on Craven and hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Craven. Max then stands Craven up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him an atomic drop from there followed by another atomic drop and then Max gives Craven a German suplex to the mat. Max then gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Craven who rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. Ricky Simms - Max was getting control there so Craven heads out for a breather. Henry Lesher - Craven is twice the man Max could ever be. Max drops and rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. Max then starts trading punches on the floor with Craven Broderick. Craven eye gouges Max and then whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post. Craven then gives Max a side Russian leg sweep to the floor. Craven then stands max up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring as well. Craven then goes for the pin on Max. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Craven stands Max up, whips him into the corner buckle and then starts landing shoulder blocks on Max Cameron. Craven then sets Max up on the top rope and then climbs the ropes himself. He sets for a superplex from there and then delivers it, sending Max to the mat where he then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - I have told you what close counts for before, Rick. Craven stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and Max ducks a clothesline and then gives Craven a knee to the back before he then gives him a back cracker and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Craven Broderick. Max then stands Craven up and whips him into the corner buckle. Max charges in for a shoulder block, but misses when Craven side steps it. Craven then whispers something into Max's ear while running his fingers through his hair. Craven looks upward and asks why they have to fight when they clearly have feelings for each other. Ricky Simms - What the hell? Henry Lesher - He's trying to out Max. Max turns and smiles, then gives Craven a knee to the gut and a DDT to the mat. Max then stands Craven up and then quickly drops him to the mat with the Contradiction and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Max Cameron gets the win this week over Craven Broderick. Ricky Simms - Craven had the edge until he hit on Max and that seemed to put max over the top, likely just to get away from Broderick this week. Henry Lesher - He's in denial. Backstage we see Frank Merritt in the locker room frowning when Vigilante enters the shot. Vigilante - What's your problem? Frank Merritt - Something is up tonight. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I should be at ringside for the tag match. Vigilante - That won't be necessary. EOS has this one in the bag. Frank Merritt - I don't know. It's been really quiet lately. People don't want to talk to us and this week is even worse. Vigilante - EOS has never been popular. People are jealous of us. That's all. We have the CWA champ, the tag titles and the Xtreme title. People want what they can't have and we have it all. Vigilante slaps Frank on the shoulder and leaves, but Frank doesn't appear to be any more relaxed about tonight's action. Vigilante/Moose vs. Tommy Purr/Hoshi vs. 6Pac/Bombshell "Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac and Bombshell make their way out onto the stage. The crowd gives them a warm response as they then make their way down the ramp towards the ring. 6Pac high fives fans while Bombshell actually stops to sign an autograph for a young female fan. They then pull themselves onto the apron and step through the ropes into the ring. They talk to each other and then to referee Casey Braun as their music fades and then we hear "Walk Idiot Walk" by The Hives and we see Tommy Purr and Hoshi Yakamoto making their way towards the ring. They get a loud ovation from the crowd as they make their way down the ramp, each of them shaking hands with fans and then they talk at ringside before they pull themselves onto the apron and then both leap over the top rope into the ring. We then hear "I Feel Alright" by Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers and Moose steps out onto the stage with Vigilante close behind. They hold their tag titles high and they hear the loudest ovation we have heard so far tonight. Ricky Simms - This is a huge tag team title defense for EOS tonight. Henry Lesher - Isn't this their first or second in a year or something like that? The tag division is just huge right now. Moose pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring while 6Pac and Tommy Purr opt to start the matches for their teams. The referee calls for the bell and the three men start trading punches while the crowd cheers. Moose gives 6Pac a knife edge chop, but then takes a clothesline to the mat from Tommy Purr. Tommy then delivers a leg drop across the chest of Moose only to take a kick to the face from 6Pac. 6Pac then stands Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and leap frogs him, then turns and gives him a dropkick to the mat from there. 6Pac then whips Moose off the ropes and Moose ducks a clothesline and then gives 6Pac a series of forearm upper cuts that drive him into the one neutral corner available in this match. Moose then whips 6Pac into his corner where Vigilante gives him a big boot to the chest. Moose then tags in Vigilante while Tommy tags in Hoshi Yakamoto. Hoshi charges in and gives a surprised Vigilante a head scissors take down to the mat. She then gets to her feet and takes a knee to the gut from 6Pac who then picks Hoshi up and body slams her to the mat. Ricky Simms - Great action in this one tonight. Henry Lesher - As we try to distract you from the fact we only have two matches tonight. UCW shouldn't be invading our turf. They should just take it over. 6Pac pulls Hoshi to his corner and tags in Bombshell. Bombshell steps through the ropes and then whips Hoshi off the ropes before she and 6Pac give Hoshi a double backdrop to the mat. They then give her a double elbow smash across the throat before Bombshell goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi. Bombshell then stands Hoshi up and whips her off the ropes. Vigilante trips Hoshi face first to the mat and then gives Bombshell a clothesline over the top rope and out to the floor. Vigilante then stands Hoshi up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a knee to the gut before he then gives her a swinging neck breaker to the mat. He then goes for the pin. 1...2... Tommy Purr breaks it up with a kick to the head on Vigilante. As Tommy is led from the ring, Vigilante tags in Moose. Moose and Vigilante then give Hoshi a double kick to the jaw that sends her down to the mat. Moose then goes for the pin. 1...2... Hoshi rolls a shoulder out. Ricky Simms - Hoshi is showing her toughness as usual tonight. Henry Lesher - Toughness and Hoshi should never be said in the same sentence without laughter. Bombshell rolls herself into the ring and she is greeted with a series of jabs and right hooks from Moose. Moose then picks Bombshell up and gives her a power slam to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... 6Pac breaks it up with a kick to the head on Moose. Moose then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and she ducks a clothesline. She then gives Moose a knee to the back and reaches for the tag, but Vigilante pulls 6Pac off of the apron to the floor. Moose then picks Bombshell up and gives her a Moosedriver to the mat and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... Hoshi pulls Moose off of Bombshell and then she reaches out and tags in Tommy Purr. Tommy stands Moose up, whips him into the corner where 6Pac had been and then gives him a series of punches to the gut. Tommy then sets Moose on the top rope and appears ready to deliver a superplex when Bombshell grabs Tommy and gives him a knee to the back before turning him around and giving him a monkey flip to the mat. Bombshell then stands, turns and takes a clothesline off the second rope from Moose. Moose then kicks Tommy right out of the ring to the floor where 6Pac is brawling with Vigilante. Moose then picks Bombshell up again and gives her a second Moosedriver to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose and Vigilante retain the titles. Ricky Simms - Moose is the hardest worker in this company. I think Vigilante owes him for this win. Moose pulled this one out and never took his eyes off the goal. Great performance by a legend in this business. Henry Lesher - Oh go marry the guy. Just shut up, Rick. He lucked out. Ricky Simms - Doesn't look like Moose is done with Bombshell yet.
Moose looks down at Bombshell and grabs her
by the hair and stands her up ... out of nowhere Gerard Angelo
slides into the ring, spinning Moose around and nailing an RKO onto
the canvas. Henry Lesher - Tommy's teaming with who? I need to rethink my life. Ricky Simms - No one saw this coming. It will be interesting to see how this plays out next month at Battle of the Warriors. Henry Lesher - That depends on your opinion of interesting. Ricky Simms - See you in two weeks at the year end show, everyone! We fade to black as the new stable make their way out of the ring and start towards the back. |
