The crowd cheers as we get set for another showing of Overdrive. It's a packed house and there is a buzz in the air as no one is quite sure what to expect this week after the interesting rant last week.

Shannon Skanes vs. Everyone

"Deep" by Nine Inch Nails plays as Shannon comes out onto the stage where he receives a mixed reaction from the crowd. He shakes his head as he makes his way down the ramp and then he rolls himself under the bottom rope and into the ring. His music then fades and we hear "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC and Max Cameron steps out onto the stage to a reaction just as mixed as that which the owner just received. Max makes his way down the ramp and then takes his place at ringside and he then motions to Kelly Buchanan who then throws him a microphone.

Max Cameron - As I stated earlier this week, I am not here to fight you. No, I am here to watch this company fail. You see, Mister Skanes, you are bound to fail. It might happen tomorrow. It might happen next month. Maybe you make it last a year, but it will be a failure as always for you. I am simply here as an observer for this part of the fiasco.

Max then tosses the microphone back to Kelly Buchanan as he takes a step away from the ring. Shannon tries to bait Max into the ring while the crowd seems torn as to who they want to win this confrontation, though both sides want to see Max get into the ring. As Shannon tries to get Max into the ring, Frank Merritt slips into the ring behind Shannon. He then gets to his feet, a chair in hand and then drills Shannon across the back with it. Frank then lands a chair shot to the head on Shannon, then lays the chair on the canvas while Max applauds from ringside. Frank then gives Shannon a DDT onto the chair.

Ricky Simms - My God, he nearly killed him!

Henry Lesher - This is what happens when you throw out a challenge that the wrestling world is watching. Well, I guess two people were watching since they are the only one who showed up.

Ricky Simms - I am surprised you didn't bring BasketKase.

Henry Lesher - He's far too important for this.

Ricky Simms - I thought you loaned him to a circus freak show.

Henry Lesher - And that makes it more important than this place.

Frank Merritt stands Shannon up, looks around at the crowd once and then lands the blunt trauma on the CWA owner. He then stands inside the ring, looks at the camera and declares that he is the only reason anyone is watching this show right now. He poses once for the camera and then has a few words for Max Cameron at ringside. Behind him medics enter the ring to attend to a bloodied and out cold Shannon Skanes. They place him on a stretcher and Frank smiles as he watches the CWA owner being carried out of the ring.

Ricky Simms - Frank is admiring his handiwork here.

Henry Lesher - I would, too. That's a thing of beauty.

Backstage we see Crystal Braun with Lady Eagle, the new superstar in the CWA who is being schooled by Tough Eagle.

Crystal Braun - Okay, so you're Lady Eagle.

Lady Eagle - *winks for the camera* I am going to be rich.

Crystal Braun - That is one way to look at it.

Lady Eagle - I have a deal with the Eagle and I am going to be rich and famous. He told me that the CWA is ripe for the picking right now. Wren has gone and there's no one who is really any good here now.

Crystal Braun - I would hardly say that.

Lady Eagle - You don't have to. It's true. Look at what happened there a few moments ago. The owner gets destroyed and his own wife doesn't bother to lift a finger to help him. Look at this face. You're going to be seeing a lot of it starting next week.

She then gives off a scream before she leaves, not unlike something we may have heard on Xena during her heyday before she walks off and we return to the ring.

Open Challenge for the CWA Title

Frank is still inside the ring and says something to Max that makes him laugh. The laughter stops when Frank then spits in Max's face. Max then pulls himself onto the apron where he is greeted with a clothesline to the floor by Frank. Frank then drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then drags Max into the ring where referee Steve Blake then calls for the bell.

Ricky Simms - Apparently this is going to be the start of the match to decide who is the new CWA champ.

Henry Lesher - Word has it that Wren is still nowhere to be found. She may have found a better job. I hear Wal-Mart is hiring.

Ricky Simms - Would you stop?

Henry Lesher - At least it's steady work.

Frank stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat while Tommy Purr, Jack Spade and Myst make their way down the ramp towards the ring. They then take their places in different corners while the fans cheer. Inside the ring, Frank applies a sleeper hold on Max and tells him to give it up.

Ricky Simms - It would appear this match will be one where the last person standing is the champ. You can tag in whoever you wish.

Henry Lesher - This is wrong. Where is Rated R?

Ricky Simms - I guess he was busy.

Max refuses to submit to Frank's hold while some in the crowd start a chant for Max. Max then fights to get to his feet while Frank tries to tighten his grip. Max then backs Frank into a corner buckle and tags in Tommy Purr. Tommy steps into the ring and starts laying the boots to Frank, giving him kicks to the ribs and then a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Tommy then whips Frank off the ropes and gives him a dropkick down to the mat. Tommy then goes to the one empty corner and starts to make his way to the top rope. Tommy poses there, leaps off and lands a flying elbow smash to the throat on Frank before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank Merritt. Tommy then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and Frank ducks a clothesline and then gives Tommy a thumb to the eye before whipping him into the empty corner buckle where he then lands a series of shoulder blocks. Frank then gives Tommy a spine buster to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr.

Ricky Simms - There's no sign of these people getting pinned easily tonight as the storied CWA title is on the line.

Henry Lesher - Storied title? They bought that belt from Sears for thirty bucks. You can get a copy for free with any fifty dollar purchase in ladies' wear.

Ricky Simms - Come on now.

Frank stands Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and Tommy ducks a clothesline and then gives Frank a reverse neck breaker to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank Merritt. Tommy then stands Frank up and tags in Jack Spade. Tommy and Jack then give Frank a double atomic drop. Tommy then leaves the ring while Jack then gives Frank a standing dropkick to the mat. Spade then lands a rolling thunder on Frank and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank Merritt. Spade stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Spade them rolls to a corner and tags in Max Cameron. Max enters the ring, grabs Jack Spade around the throat and then gives him a choke slam to the mat. Max then tags him and tells the referee that he is the legal man before stepping back onto the mat.

Ricky Simms - Damn that Max.

Henry Lesher - Oh, like you wouldn't do the same thing. He doesn't want to face Frank.

Frank gets to his feet and then gives Jack Spade a series of knees to the ribs and then looks to the crowd and smirks before delivering the Blunt Trauma on Jack Spade and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Jack Spade has been eliminated. Frank then has time to get to his feet before Max Cameron gives him a clothesline to the mat.

Ricky Simms - Max throws Jack to the dogs and then he attacks.

Henry Lesher - Don't get mad at Max for being smarter than you.

Max Cameron stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Max then looks to the crowd, still getting a mixed reaction. He then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop only to take a knee to the face from Frank who then gives Max a Rock Bottom to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Frank then rolls Max out to the floor where Jack Spade is trying to walk around. Seeing Max, Jack gives him a leg drop across the throat and then lands a series of rights and lefts to the head on Max while security rushes out to take Jack away. Before they reach him, Jack gives Max Cameron a bulldog to the floor. Jack is then dragged away from ringside while Frank then rolls himself out to the floor.

Ricky Simms - It would appear that Jack Spade didn't take his elimination well.

Henry Lesher - That's just poor sportsmanship. It's not surprising, but it is disappointing.

Ricky Simms - Yeah, you're a real sport.

Frank rolls Max into the ring before doing the same himself and then he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Max is eliminated with a heavy assist from Jack Spade. Frank then rolls Max out to the floor before he gets to his feet and then he squares off with Myst. He backs Myst into the corner buckle and then gives her a series of knee lifts to the ribs. Frank then gives her a hip toss to the middle of the ring and then he picks her up over his shoulder and then gives her a running power slam to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Myst gets a foot on the bottom rope to stop the count. Frank then stands Myst up, whips her off the ropes and she does a shoulder roll under a clothesline and then she pulls the feet out from under Frank. She then quickly applies an ankle lock submission hold. The referee checks to see if Frank submits. Frank answers by kicking Myst off of his ankle with his free leg, sending her into the corner buckle. Frank then quickly gets to his feet only to take a head scissors take down from Myst. She then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top while the fans cheer. Frank gets to his feet and takes a flying dropkick to the chest from Myst. Myst then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank Merritt.

Ricky Simms - I thought she had him there.

Henry Lesher - Again you overrate this hack Myst.

Myst stands Frank up, whips him into the corner and then misses with a clothesline as Frank side steps it and then he gives her a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Myst. Frank then gets to his feet and goes to Tommy Purr's corner where Tommy sprays something in his eyes outside of the referee's view. A blinded Frank then turns and swings wildly only getting air. Myst then gives Frank a DDT to the mat and rolls him into a cradle pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Frank and Myst then rolls and tags in a surprised Tommy Purr.

Ricky Simms - Myst is making Tommy face Frank now after blinding him.

Henry Lesher - It's been a great showing for Frank and either him or Tommy would make a fine champion.

Tommy steps into the ring and starts putting the boots to Frank Merritt. He then stands Frank up, whips him into the corner and then lands a dropkick to the chest on Frank. Tommy then perches himself on the second rope and starts raining down punches to the face on Frank Merritt. Tommy poses for the crowd, but Frank grabs Tommy around the waist and then gives him an inverted atomic drop. Frank then pulls Tommy down to the mat and then lands a knee to the forehead on Tommy before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy who then rolls Frank into a school boy pin attempt complete with a hook of the tights. 1...2...3! Tommy eliminates Frank Merritt!

Ricky Simms - Kind of a cheap elimination there by Tommy. Frank won't forget that.

Henry Lesher - No, you're right. He won't.

Ricky Simms - It comes down to Myst against Tommy Purr.

Henry Lesher - Tommy wins.

Tommy gets to his feet and takes a series of forearm smashes to the jaw from Myst. She then whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a monkey flip to the middle of the ring. She then quickly gets to her feet and then lands a leg drop across the throat on Tommy before she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr. Myst then stands Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and ducks her head for a backdrop, but Tommy gives her a kick to the face and then he gives her a clothesline to the mat. Tommy then picks her up over his shoulder and runs her towards the corner buckle. She slides off and shoves Tommy into the corner instead. She then rolls him into a cradle pin attempt. 1...2... reversal by Tommy who then holds the rope while the referee makes the count. 1...2...3!

Ricky Simms - I don't agree with this, but Tommy is the new champ.

Henry Lesher - He is a true champion. Finally the CWA is something to behold.

Tommy is handed the CWA title and holds it high above his head. On the stage, we see an enraged Frank Merritt. He doesn't take his eyes off of Tommy and mumbles that revenge will be sweet and that Tommy had better enjoy this while he can.

Ricky Simms - We'll see you in two weeks, fans, when Tommy makes his first title defense as the new CWA champion!

Henry Lesher - I finally have something to look forward to.
