April 8th, 2008

The crowd is hot as usually is the case with CWA crowds as we get ready for the latest pay per view event from the CWA. We hear "Before I Forget" by Slipknot as we see images of Tommy Purr, Bombshell, 6Pac Dudley, Max Cameron, Eli Ryder, Frank Merritt, Kannon and Jack Spade before we head to ringside where Henry Lesher is with Ricky Simms, ready to call the action.

Kelly Buchanan / Vesuvius vs. Bombshell / Tommy Purr

"Piece of Me" by Britney Spears plays as Tommy Purr and Bombshell make their way onto the stage and hear the cheers of the crowd. They then make their way down the ramp to the ring, each giving fans high fives while they make their way around the ring and then pull themselves onto the ring apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Their music then fades and we hear "Mein Teil" by Rammstein and Vesuvius and Kelly Buchanan make their way onto the stage, the crowd not giving them quite the warn reception that they just gave Tommy and Bombshell. Vesuvius marches down the ramp towards the ring and keeps looking over his shoulder at Kelly Buchanan to make certain that she is following as she should. He smiles when he sees that she is doing as she is supposed to before he pulls himself onto the apron. He then informs Kelly that she is starting this match. She frowns at him, but she steps through the ropes into the ring and Tommy Purr vacates the ring. Referee Mark Davis calls for the bell and the action is officially underway as Kelly locks up with Bombshell.

Ricky Simms - Vesuvius continues this baffling turn of events in a tag match with Kelly this week.

Henry Lesher - You just be quiet, Rick. I get to watch Tommy Purr wrestle.

Bombshell shoves Kelly into a neutral corner and then kicks her in the gut before giving her a snap mare to the middle of the ring. Bombshell then places Kelly in a sleeper hold. Kelly escapes that by grabbing the middle rope and forcing the break. Bombshell then gives Kelly a German suplex to the mat and then holds her shoulders down for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kelly Buchanan. Bombshell then stands Kelly up and pulls her to her corner where she then tags in Tommy Purr. They then give Kelly a double vertical suplex to the matr before Tommy then tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kelly again.

Ricky Simms - Kelly needs to make a tag here.

Henry Lesher - That's because she is lousy at wrestling. She fails at life.

Tommy stands Kelly up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a dropkick to the mat. He then goes to Kelly's corner and slaps Vesuvius across the face. He demands that the mountain man step into the ring and fight him instead of letting Kelly do his dirty work. Vesuvius drops off the apron while smiling and shaking his head. Tommy spits in his direction and turns back to Kelly. Kelly is almost all the way to her feet and then gives Tommy a jawbreaker before she dives to her corner to make the tag. Vesuvius is still on the floor and is rubbing his cheek. He tells Kelly he is in no shape to enter the ring right now.

Ricky Simms - What a total coward.

Henry Lesher - He might be the smartest wrestler here tonight. He knows he cannot defeat Tommy Purr.

Kelly looks stunned as she has words with Vesuvius and Tommy rolls to his corner and tags in Bombshell. Kelly turns and takes a clothesline to the mat from Bombshell. Bombshell then takes her turn to spit on Vesuvius. He jumps onto the apron and lands a right hook to the jaw on Yvonne. Tommy then charges into the ring and dives through the ropes, giving Vesuvius a spear right off the apron and into the guard railing. Tommy then starts raining down punches to the head on Vesuvius while Bombshell turns to see Kelly is on her feet. She ducks a clothesline from Kelly and then gives her an atomic drop. Bombshell then rolls herself out to the floor and proceeds to help Tommy beat down Vesuvius.

Ricky Simms - Vesuvius is really unpopular right now.

Henry Lesher - I guess people care about the tarts he kidnaps.

Bombshell and Tommy set Vesuvius up and then gives him a double face first suplex to the floor. Bombshell then rolls herself into the ring where Kelly greets her with a leg drop across the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Kelly then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a dropkick to the mat. Kelly then looks to her corner for a tag, short of breath and in need of a rest against the fresher team. Bombshell rolls to her corner and tags in Tommy Purr. Kelly turns and throws a punch at Tommy, but he ducks it, picks Kelly Buchanan up and then gives her the Tommyknocker before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Tommy Purr and Bombshell get the win over Kelly Buchanan and her reluctant partner Vesuvius.

Ricky Simms - That turned into another handicap match.

Henry Lesher - They don't get much more handicapped than Kelly Buchanan.

As Tommy and Bombshell leave the ring, shaking their heads at what they were just a part of, Vesuvius rolls himself into the ring. He stands over Kelly and then looks skyward as if for divine inspiration. Vesuvius then picks Kelly up and gives her a power bomb to the mat before he drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then exits through the crowd. Tommy Purr slides into the ring with Bombshell a moment too late and Tommy screams a challenge at Vesuvius which the mountain man ignores as he disappears into the CWA fans.

Ricky Simms - What the hell was that for?

Henry Lesher - Kelly disappointed him. Can't you see that?

As Tommy and Bombshell attend to Kelly inside the ring, we look backstage where 6Pac is seen pacing in the locker room. Ray Dees enters the picture to talk to tonight's challenger.

Ray Dees - 6Pac, tonight you get your shot.

6Pac Dudley - I know this Ray. I know this all too well. Tonight Jack Spade faces me. Tonight I finally become the CWA champion.

Ray Dees - You sound confident.

6Pac Dudley - No one has ever given me much of a chance, Ray. I am still here, still stabding and I am still Aerial champ. Jack and I have a lot in common there.

Ray Dees - Does the steel cage stipulation favor you?

6Pac Dudley - Ray... I am a hardcore legend. I was born in a cage. I was made to wrestle in a Kennel, in the most brutal matches any company has ever seen. Tonight... nothing stops me. I will destroy Jack Spade and become the CWA champ. Once that bell rings, respect is gone. Once that bell rings, his hope is gone. The kid from Hamilton is about to finish scaling the mountain to the top.

That said, we head back to the ring.

Kannon vs. Eli Ryder

"Godspeed" by Anberlin plays as Eli Ryder comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He darts straight to the ring and awaits for his opponent to turn up. " Voices " by Disturbed plays as Kannon walks out with the company of Mr. Rivers and Kira Yakamoto. He has a devilish grin as the crowd boos him all the way down the ramp. Kannon slides into the ring and ref calls for the bell to get this action under way..

Ricky Simms - There is quite a size difference here!

Henry Lesher - I am only hoping that Kannon keeps his word. He promised blood.

Ricky Simms - Is that all you think about?

Henry Lesher - Yeah and your problem is.. ?

Eli Ryder keeps a fast paste going and keeps his distance away from the much larger Kannon. Eli starts out with well place kicks to the leg of Kannon. Eli Backs up and strikes with another well aimed leg kick. Eli yet again executes a precise kick that finally staggers Kannon. Eli takes this opportunity to rush the ropes and bounces back, Only to be drop with a solid shoulder block from Kannon. Eli quickly gets back to his feet but gets caught by the big mits of Kannon. Kannon choke tosses him across the ring and into the corner. Kannon rushes at Eli but only eats turnbuckle as Eli escapes the last second. Eli backs him in the corner with multiple hard forearms to the face. Kannon tries to push Eli off but Eli uses this momentum to snap off a quick drop toe hold. Kannon drops on his face as Eli takes a few steps back and waits. Kannon gets up on his knees, Only to be dropped again by a running knee lift from Eli. Eli climbs the turnbuckle and tells Kannon to get to his feet. Kannon once again rises as Eli Ryder goes for a flying cross body but Kannon catches him and visciously snaps Eli over his head with a fallaway slam.

Ricky Simms - Well Eli had Momentum but just as he gain it.. He lost it.

Henry Lesher - Good now.. Kannon bust him open!!

Mr. Rivers laughs from ringside as Kannon drops a hard elbow on the chest of Eli. Kannon picks him up by the hair and lifts him up in a military press and drops him throat first on the nearby ropes. Eli snaps off the ropes turns around into a hard lariat by Kannon. Mr. Rivers tells Kannon to finish the fight as he obediently agrees. Kannon lifts Eli straight up into the Death Row Drop but Eli squirms and drops behind Kannon. Eli quickly goes for the school boy ..1.. 2 Kick out by Kannon. Kannon gets to his feet but is met by a lightning quick super kick by Eli Ryder. Eli rushes the ropes and goes for Twisting Swanton Bomb which he calls a Disasterpiece. Kannon rolls out of the way to avoid certain fate. Kannon springs off the ropes and connects a running boot to the face of the rising Eli Ryder. Kannon quickly goes for pin ..1 ...2.. Eli rolls out his shoulder before the three.

Ricky Simms - Eli is showing some resilence here tonight

Henry Lesher - I had high hopes for this but I see no red.

Kannon lifts him up and hooks him up, He delivers the Rock Bottom followed up by a hard knee drop to the forehead of Eli. Kannon picks him up once more and lifts him up into a spine buster but Eli wraps his arm around Kannon's head pulls out a Tornado DDT. Eli quickly gets to his feet and lands a standing Moonsault on Kannon .. 1 .. 2 .. Kick out by Kannon. Eli picks Kannon up and quickly basement dropkicks Kannon in the leg. Kannon drops to one knee as Eli uses this time to Springboard off the second rope for a flying clothesline but Kannon quickly rises back up to catch him in a Bearhug. Kannon starts squeezing with all his might as Eli screams in pain. The ref checks for the submission but Eli nods in refusal...

Ricky Simms - Eli is Locked Up in Kannon's deadly submission finisher but refuses to submit.

Henry Lesher - Good maybe his head will pop off then..

Kannon walks to center of the ring to avoid any chance of a rope break as he starts swinging Eli side to side like a rag doll but maintaining intense pressure on Eli. Eli still refuses to give up even though he is fading fast from the hold. Kannon screams at Eli to give up but faintly Eli replies no. Finally fed up with Eli's stubborness, Kannon swings Eli around landing a murderess Swinging Sidewalk Slam. Kannon folds him into the pin .. 1 .. 2 .. 3!! The ref calls for the bell as Mr. Rivers and Kira slide into the ring to celebrate with Kannon.

Ricky Simms - Eli wouldn't give up.. but he had nothing left to kick out.

Henry Lesher - What no blood!?

Ricky Simms - No Really is that all you think about?

Henry Lesher - Do you have to ask me that everytime I want blood?

Kannon taunts to the crowd as they have no love for his victory. Eli Ryder rises to his feet gasping for some air as Mr. Rivers tells Kannon to look behind him. Kannon turns around to see Eli on his feet as Kannon smirks before lifting up Eli in the Riot Control and delivers it with much force. Kannon gets up and just shakes his head at Eli. Business Inc leave the ring and start to make their way up the ramp. Half way up the ramp Kannon turns around to look at his damage only to see Eli slowly getting back to his feet.

Kannon - Are you kidding me?

Kira reaches out for Kannon in a small attempt to stop him but Kannon rushes back to the ring. Kannon slides in the ring and waits for Eli to get back to his feet. Kannon charges once more and delivers the Last Meal to Eli Ryder. Eli drops instantly as Kannon stands over him.

Kannon - I dare you to get up again boy!!

Ricky Simms - I admire his guts but he should just stay down

Henry Lesher - No get up Eli! Get up

Eli reaches for the nearby ropes to help pull himself up but Kannon gives him a heavy assist and lifts him up in a military press. Kannon tosses Eli right over the top rope and out to the floor by the Announcer's table. Kannon slides out and lifts up Eli on his shoulder, Kannon charges and uses Eli's head as a javelin straight into a turnbuckle post. You see blood start to flow from the forehead of Eli as Kannon grabs his hair. Kannon starts a relentless series of punches to the open the cut more on Eli, Causing the blood to flow faster. Kira starts demanding Mr. Rivers to tell Kannon to stop the assault. After a brief argument between the two, Mr. Rivers gives in and tells Kannon to stop. After a few more brutal shots Kannon leaves the broken Eli Ryder alone. Business Inc start to make their way to the back as Eli slowly crawls towards the time keeper and asks for a mic.

Eli Ryder - Kannon! .. I am.. not through with you

Henry Lesher - This is getting good.. Too bad all matches didn't end like this

Ricky Simms - This is horrible!

Kira pleads to Kannon not to even bother but by now Kannon is clearly pissed off. Kannon rushes back to the ring and is going ballistic. Kannon rips off the covering to the Announcer's table and throws it off to the side. Eli shows no signs of fear why he lays there helpless to even fight back but has enough in him to look up at Kannon. Kannon lifts him up straight into his main finisher the Death Row Drop. Kannon hesitates for a minute while tells Eli to enjoy the hospital. Kannon drives Eli straight through the Announcer's table. Eli lays there motionless while EMTs hurry to assist him while a ton of security come pull Kannon away. We then look backstage where Vesuvius is with Ingee Shmelky.

Ingee Shmelky - Vesuvius, you attacked Kelly Buchanan. Why?

Vesuvius - I do not need to justify my actions to you, albino nobody.

Ingee Shmelky - The people want to know...

Vesuvius - I don't care what the people want to know. I am paid to...

Vesuvius' speech is cut off when he is speared in the back by Tommy Purr who then rains down punches on Vesuvius while security rushes in the split them up. Purr grabs a nearby chair and swings it, clubbing a couple of security members before he then takes a shot at Vesuvius and hits him in the forehead. More security rushes in to split them up while Ingee quickly retreats from the violent scene and we return to the ring.

Frank Merritt vs. Max Cameron

"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron makes his way onto the stage. He gets a loud ovation from the crowd as he then starts down the ramp. Frank Merritt then comes charging out from backstage and starts down the ramp. Max hears him coming and turns and starts brawling with Frank on the ramp. Referee Steve Blake calls for the bell to get this street fight underway.

Ricky Simms - Pure hatred boils over between these two this week.

Henry Lesher - Which means you can shut up and let me enjoy this.

Max gives Frank an eye gouge and then Frank responds with a blind clothesline to the steel on Max. Frank then stands Max up and throws him right off the ramp to the floor. Frank then dives off and gives Max a body press to the floor. Frank then grabs an audio cable and starts strangling Max with it. Max grabs a length of the cord and then reaches back, whipping Frank with it. He whips Frank again while choking for breath. Max then gives Frank a snap mare to break the choke. Max then starts choking Frank with the audio cord.

Ricky Simms - I don't think this match will ever reach the ring.

Henry Lesher - If you speak again, Frank won't be the only man choking in this arena.

Frank gets to his feet and then gives Max a series of elbows to the gut that break the choke. Frank then turns and gives max a knee to the gut and then slams his head into the side of the ramp. Frank then picks Max up and gives him a running power slam to the floor. Frank then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Frank then picks Max up and gives him another running power slam to the floor. Frank then stands max up and whips him into a nearby guard railing. Frank then picks up a steel chair and folds it, a sadistic grin crossing his face. He grabs Max by the hair with one hand while holding the chair with the other and tells Max he messed with the wrong man. Frank then takes a swing with the chair, but Max blocks it with his arm and then gives Frank a low blow to even the odds. Max then grabs the steel chair and pulls it away from Frank while he gets to his feet. Max then hits Frank in the ribs with the chair and then hits him across the back with it before tossing it aside. Max then picks Frank up and gives him a pile driver to the floor. Max then goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank rolls a shoulder out.

Ricky Simms - How much more can these two take?

Henry Lesher - I hope this match goes on forever.

Max stands Frank up and then gives him a bulldog to the floor before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank and Max slaps the floor, accusing referee Steve Blake of a slow count. Max then pulls Frank to his feet and Frank gives max a knee to the gut and then an eye gouge before he gives Max a vertical suplex to the floor which leaves them both lying on the floor. The referee starts counting both men down while the crowd starts a chant for Max Cameron. On the five count, Frank rolls over onto Max for the cover. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Frank then slowly gets to his feet while Max also starts to pull himself up. Frank gives Max a kick to the face which sends him back to the floor and then Frank picks Max up and pulls him to ringside. He then runs Max towards the steel corner post, but Max slides off Frank's shoulder and then shoves Frank head first into the steel post instead.

Ricky Simms - Both men are bleeding here as the violence gets close to the ring.

Henry Lesher - I am so happy. This is utopia for me. It really is, so shut up.

Max Cameron then rolls Frank into the ring before he reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. Max slides the table into the ring and then rolls himself into the ring. Max sets up the table and then grabs Frank, stands him up and takes a thumb to the eye from Frank who then gives max a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Max answers with a series of knife edge chops of his own and then gives Frank a vertical suplex through the table inside the ring. He goes for the pin. 1...2... Max is pulled off of Frank Merritt by Maxine who pulls him to the floor.

Ricky Simms - What the hell is she doing here?

Henry Lesher - She is smart enough to take the right side in this fight.

Max starts arguing with Maxine. Maxine then gives Max a low blow and then sprays his eyes with pepper spray. Max screams in pain as Frank rolls himself out to the floor. Max then turns and takes a DDT to the floor from Frank. Max is motionless as Frank picks Max up and rolls him into the ring. He then rolls himself into the ring and goes for the pin on Max Cameron. 1...2...3! Frank Merritt gets the win tonight over Max Cameron.

Ricky Simms - Maxine screwed Max over!

Henry Lesher - Again!

The crowd boos as Frank rolls himself out of the ring and high fives Maxine. Frank then makes his way up the ramp and he laughs as he looks into the ring at a fallen Max Cameron.

Ricky Simms - I don't think this is over.

Henry Lesher - Max is blinded and half dead. It's over, Rick.

Ricky Simms - No one is tougher than Max Cameron.

Henry Lesher - Did we just watch the same match?

Backstage we see Jack Spade taking a few deep breaths while he looks at his CWA title. He nods his head and speaks to himself.

Jack Spade - This is your greatest challenge. Tonight.... 6Pac... the CWA title.... all on me. The steel cage in front of the CWA faithful. Tonight, the main event is a straight up fight. Spade will emerge as the champion. This title reign is not over.

Jack then nods his head, takes another deep breath and then places the CWA title belt over his shoulder. He then exits the locker room and we return to ringside where the cage is being lowered into place.

Jack Spade vs. 6Pac Dudley

"Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac Dudley makes his way onto the stage and then he starts to make his way down the ramp towards the ring. He hands the Aerial title to the timekeeper and then he steps through the door into the steel cage. He then makes his way up the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring while his music fades and then we hear "King of the Stereo" by Saliva and Jack Spade makes his way out onto the stage where the crowd gives him a loud ovation as well. He holds the CWA title high and then makes his way down the ramp to the ring. He hands off the title to the timekeeper as well and then he makes his way through the door into the cage before he rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring. Jack gets to his feet and referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell to get the main event started.

Ricky Simms - This is the main event, the CWA title on the line.

Henry Lesher - No, we already had the main event when Max was blinded. Tommy attacking Vesuvius backstage was pretty good, too. Whoever booked this did a horrible job.

6Pac and Jack Spade lock up in the middle of the ring. Jack then shoves 6Pac back into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of kicks to the gut. 6Pac then eye gouges Jack and reverses spots with him before giving him a series of kicks to the gut. 6Pac then gives Jack a snap mare to the middle of the ring and then applies a standing side headlock on Jack Spade. Spade then gets to his feet, whips 6Pac off the ropes and leap frogs him before he then gives him a monkey flip to the mat. Jack Spade then gets to his feet and gives 6Pac a knee lift to the face and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Jack then lands a knee to the forehead on 6Pac and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac.

Ricky Simms - Great action so far in this one, not like we would expect anything less.

Henry Lesher - I don't care.

Jack stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and 6Pac ducks a clothesline before giving Jack Spade a reverse neck breaker to the mat. 6Pac then rolls himself out of the ring, dragging Jack Spade with him. 6Pac then slams Jack's face into the steel mesh of the cage and then slams it into the ring apron before giving Jack a spine buster to the floor. 6Pac then rolls Jack into the ring before rolling himself into the ring where he tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. 6Pac then stands a now bloodied Jack up, whips him into the corner buckle and then perches himself on the second rope and raining punches down to the head on Jack Spade. The fans count all ten punches before he drops off the ropes and then gives Jack a hip toss to the middle of the ring. 6Pac then places Jack in a sleeper hold.

Ricky Simms - 6Pac is proving himself to be a tough challenge for Spade.

Henry Lesher - No one cares.

Jack refuses to submit when asked by the referee. Jack then fights to get to his feet and then starts landing elbows to the gut on 6Pac. Jack then ducks out of the hold and gives 6Pac a fall away slam to the mat and then alertly goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Spade then rolls 6Pac out to the floor before he, too, vacates the ring. Spade then stands 6Pac up and then whips him face first into the steel cage. Spade then gives 6Pac a side Russian leg sweep to the floor which draws a cheer from the crowd. Spade then gets to his feet, stands 6Pac up and goes for a suplex which is blocked. 6Pac then stands Spade up and gives him a face first suplex to the floor which draws a cheer from the crowd as well. 6Pac then gets to his feet and then starts putting the boots to Jack Spade. He then stands Spade up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps.

Ricky Simms - 6Pac said he was at home here and he is considered a hardcore hero.

Henry Lesher - In his own mind, he is. I'd rather watch paint dry.

6Pac rolls Spade into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. He then goes for the pin. 1...2... Spade rolls a shoulder out. 6Pac looks shocked that Spade was able to escape that and then stands Spade up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a lariat to the mat where he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. 6Pac then stands Jack Spade up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks before placing him on the top rope. 6Pac then climbs to the top and gets set for a superplex. The move is blocked by Spade. 6Pac tries again and it is still blocked by Jack Spade. Spade then picks 6Pac up and drops him face first to the mat. Spade then lands the Jack of All Spades on 6Pac and hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Jack Spade pulls the win from out of nowhere and is still the CWA champion!

Ricky Simms - Spade gets the win while 6Pac earned the right to a rematch.

Henry Lesher - No, he didn't. He lost. He earned nothing.

The cage is raised as Jack Spade exits the ring and grabs his CWA title belt. He then picks up the Aerial title belt and looks at 6Pac inside the ring. Spade rolls himself back into the ring and continues to look at the Aerial title while 6Pac comes to and realizes what happened. 6Pac sees Spade there and gets to his feet. 6Pac grabs the Aerial title belt from Jack Spade and the two look like they might throw down for an encore here. Instead, Spade offers to shake hands with 6Pac. 6Pac pauses and looks to the crowd for a moment and then briefly shakes hands with Spade before he drops and rolls himself out to the floor. Spade stands in the middle of the ring with his title belt raised high and the crowd cheering.

Ricky Simms - Spade is really proving himself to be quite the CWA champion.

Henry Lesher - No he isn't. He ducked Tommy. He ducked Frank.

Ricky Simms - 6Pac beat both of them last week.

Henry Lesher - I never saw that.

Ricky Simms - See you next week fans.

We fade to black as Jack Spade continues to celebrate inside the ring.
