Live from Chilliwack BC
The crowd cheers as they hear "Coming Undone" by Korn and they see flames shoot up from the stage area. There is a chant of the company's initials as Shannon Skanes then emerges from the back and slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He pauses to look around from ringside at the cheering fans and smiles before he makes his way up the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring.
Shannon Skanes - It is good to be back! *loud cheer* See, this is what wrestling is all about. This is what the CWA is all about. Now, I was ready to call it a night with the one big event that went over so well, but why stop there? See, the CWA is a company that works hard and we have been off for awhile now, at least as far as taking care of these people goes.
Shannon points to the CWA Shannontron (as it is labeled) and we see images of Dante, Q, Simon, Ash, Dragon, and of Xtasy before Shannon speaks again.
Shannon Skanes - See, this is where I wonder. This is where I ask myself whether or not we have the people backstage who can be the stars that those people have been for this company. Who can be Leech? Who can be Razor? Who is the next Max Cameron, taking a beating every damned week and not being smart enough to retire? See, the CWA can be seen as a shadow of its former self. Look around the wrestling world and see how many once proud companies have folded. Hell, I would show you the last BLPW show but they hadn't invented film when it was produced. I would show you footage from UWE, from UWE but they can't find it themselves. Oh woe to the wrestling world dear fans!
The lights dim and Shannon lowers his head as if in mourning. We hear him sigh before he continues.
Shannon Skanes - Has Vincent Kennedy McMahon finally got control over the entire wrestling game? Tonight we will find out. I rattled a few cages this week fans! I challenged people to come out here and give their blood, their sweat and their tears to prove they have pride in this business! Tonight, for you, we will crown a new CWA World champion. One person will stand tall and they must run the challenge of.... the gauntlet!
The crowd cheers and fireworks explode from the ceiling while Shannon nods. Again, the boss continues.
Shannon Skanes - You see, I still believe in this industry. I took a year off and now I am back. I am back not to be a shadow of what I was. I didn't come back to make people miss the past. No, I am here to show the world that I am still the best damned wrestling owner on the damned world! Now let's get this shit started!
He tosses the microphone from the ring and then stands on the second rope in the corner while the fans cheer. He then drops down to the mat and rolls himself out to the floor. He tells the camera that tonight is going to rock the world.
The CWA World Title Gauntlet
"Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne plays as Jack Spade steps out onto the stage and is greeted with cheers by an anxious crowd. He then runs down the ramp and quickly makes his way around the ring. He pauses and looks towards commentator Henry Lesher and shakes his head, a grin crossing his face. He then jumps onto the ring apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. "Scandalous" by Mis-Teeq plays and Kosmic Kitty steps out onto the stage to the delight of the crowd. She pauses there for a moment, takes in the atmosphere and then starts to make her way down the ramp. She is carrying a picnic basket full of Twinkies which she is throwing to the fans. Once the basket has been emptied, she hands the basket to a little girl at ringside who she then kisses on the forehead. Kitty waves to the crowd and then pulls herself onto the apron. She then steps through the ropes into the ring.
Henry Lesher - Why is this starting my show?
Ricky Simms - Ask Shannon Skanes. He's right there. I think this is a great way to start the show.
Henry Lesher - Would you like a drool bucket?
Referee Mark Davis calls for the bell and Spade locks up with Kosmic Kitty. Spade backs Kitty into the ropes where the referee asks for, and receives, a clean break. Spade then moves in and places Kitty in a headlock. Kitty then manages to gives Jack a snap mare to escape the hold. She then gives Spade a knee to the back, then stands him up and whips him into the corner buckle. Kitty goes for a shoulder smash there, but Spade side steps it and then rolls her into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Kitty. Spade then stands Kitty up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when she ducks it. Kitty then gives Spade a series of elbows to the chin and then goes for a side Russian leg sweep, but he blocks then and then gives her a German suplex to the mat. Spade then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kosmic Kitty.
Ricky Simms - Kitty is no pushover.
Henry Lesher - She's certainly no wrestler either.
Spade stands Kitty up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a dropkick to the mat. Spade then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top rope while some in the crowd start a chant for Kitty. Spade then leaps off only to miss a leg drop when Kitty rolls herself out of the ring to the floor while Spade lands hard on the mat and then clutches at his back. Kitty then paces on the floor and then finally rolls herself back into the ring. Spade gets to his feet where Kitty gives him a spinning heel kick that actually sends him down to the mat. She then goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Kitty then goes to the ropes and she quickly makes her way to the top. Spade stands and Kitty launches herself for a flying cross body. Spade instead catches her in mid-air and then spins her to the mat with a power slam before he goes for the pin. 1...2... Kitty gets a foot on the bottom rope. Spade shakes his head.
Ricky Simms - Spade thought he had her.
Henry Lesher - Everyone else has had her.
Spade stands Kitty up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a sidewalk slam from there before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by a very game Kosmic Kitty. Spade again shakes his head as he stands Kitty up. He whips Kitty off the ropes and then misses with a dropkick as she manages to hold the top rope and stop her momentum. Again, Spade is grabbing at his back and Kitty goes for a full Nelson on him. Spade quickly gets to his feet while Kitty struggles to maintain the hold. He raises his hands and drops out of the hold and then gives her a leg sweep to the mat and then he gives her a somersault leg drop before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Kosmic Kitty has been eliminated which draws a mixed reaction from the crowd. Spade stands up and looks down at Kitty and nods. He then extends his hand to her and shakes hands with her.
Ricky Simms - It is nice to see a sign of respect between these two tonight.
Henry Lesher - If they respected wrestling, they would stop doing it. They would find new hobbies. Maybe they could be land mine testers.
Ricky Simms - Okay, just stop.
Henry Lesher - There are lots of places in the world to go. George W. is full of great job plans for these two.
Ricky Simms - Still a sick man, doesn't get better with age.
As Kitty leaves the ring, Rated R slides into the ring behind him. Jack turns and takes a knee to the gut from Rated R who then tosses Spade right through the ropes and into the guard railing. Rated R then drops and rolls himself out to the floor where he puts the boots to his challenger. Rated R picks Spade up and then drops him on the railing, his throat landing on the steel. Rated R then stands Spade up before whipping him shoulder first into the steel corner post.
Ricky Simms - Rated R is a man possessed tonight.
Henry Lesher - Hey, that is HIS title. He owns that title. No man or woman will deny him his place as champ.
Rated R rolls Spade into the ring and then rolls himself back into the ring. He then places Jack Spade's throat over the bottom rope and chokes him with it while the referee threatens to disqualify him for this action. Rated R curses at the referee and then stands Spade up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of kicks to the chest. Rated R then gouges the eyes of Jack Spade along the top rope before picking him up and slamming him to the mat. Rated R then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Rated R accuses Mark Davis of a slow count. Davis shakes his head and shows two fingers.
Ricky Simms - It is the same old Ryan here tonight.
Henry Lesher - Like I said, no one will deny him tonight.
Rated R stands Spade up and again whips him out of the ring to the floor. He drops and rolls out of the ring as well, shaking his head while he looks down at Spade. He then stands Spade up and takes a thumb to the eye from Jack who then gives Rated R a jawbreaker. Jack then rolls himself into the ring and uses the ropes to get to his feet while Rated R gets up and tries to orient himself. Rated R pulls himself onto the apron only to take a clothesline from Jack that sends him back down to the floor. Jack then climbs the ropes in the nearest corner and waits for Rated R to stand. Jack then leaps off and lands a dropkick to the chest on Rated R, sending him back to the floor. Jack then stands over Rated R and he smiles towards the cheering fans.
Henry Lesher - This is hardly fair of Spade here. Let the man back into the ring!
Ricky Simms - I can't believe you're complaining, of all people.
Henry Lesher - You didn't know I complain? You must not listen to me at all.
Ricky Simms - I try not to, no.
Jack stands Rated R up and then smashes his face into the steel corner steps. Jack then rolls Rated R into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. Jack goes for the pin. 1...2... Rated R rolls a shoulder out. Jack then stands Rated R up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Jack follows this up with a leg drop across the throat and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rated R. Jack Spade then stands Rated R up and then whips him into the corner buckle. He then gives Rated R a knee to the gut and then follows that up with a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Jack then stands Rated R up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline as Rated R ducks it and then gives Jack a reverse neck breaker to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade.
Henry Lesher - Slow count. That was a slow count.
Ricky Simms - Let it go, Doc.
Rated R stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Rated R then gives Jack a knee drop to the chest and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Rated R stands Jack Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop only to have Spade land on his feet. Spade rolls Rated R up into a small package. 1...2... Rated R reverses and holds the ropes out of sight of the referee. 1...2...3! Jack Spade is eliminated! Rated R gets to his feet and then kicks Spade in the chest as Spade rolls himself out of the ring. We then see owner Shannon Skanes shaking his head at ringside.
Ricky Simms - Shannon could reverse this decision.
Henry Lesher - What for? No one will stop Rated R tonight.
Rated R turns and sees Hoshi Yakamoto charging into the ring. She leaps onto the apron and ducks a right hook from Ryan before giving him a shoulder block through the ropes. She then places his throat over the top rope and then drops off the apron, giving him a wicked slingshot backwards. Hoshi then rolls herself into the ring and starts throwing rights and lefts to the head on Rated R. Hoshi then stands Rated R up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick than sends him falling backward before he falls through the ropes and out to the floor. Hoshi then waits for Rated R to stand before she launches herself through the top and middle rope, giving Rated R a shoulder block to the floor before she then stands over him and nods towards nearby cheering fans.
Ricky Simms - She certainly knows how to make an entrance.
Henry Lesher - I hope Ryan helps her find the exit before I lose my will to live. Must I watch her every week?
Ricky Simms - Whether you like it or not, she is one of the toughest woman to ever step into a CWA ring or any ring for that matter.
Henry Lesher - Which means there are only about ten thousand men who are better than she is.
Hoshi stands a dazed Rated R up, then rolls him into the ring before she rolls herself into the ring. Hoshi then gives Rated R an elbow smash to the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rated R. Hoshi then stands Rated R up, whips him off the ropes and he ducks a clothesline and then gives her an eye gouge followed by a knee to the gut and then gives her a DDT to the mat. Rated R smiles and nods as he then rolls her over and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi Yakamoto which draws cheers from the crowd while Rated R looks ready to drop the referee.
Ricky Simms - How the hell did she kick out of that?
Henry Lesher - Even chickens have muscle spasms after their heads are severed. It's a lot like that.
Rated R stands Hoshi up, then whips her into the corner buckle. Rated R then gives her a kick to the chest before he picks her up over his shoulder. He gives Hoshi a running power slam to the mat and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by Hoshi which again stuns Rated R. He stands her up and then tosses her through the ropes and out to the floor before he has words with the referee. Hoshi slowly gets to her feet and then grabs onto the ring apron. She pulls herself onto the apron where Rated R then grabs her by the hair. Rated R then takes a knee to the gut through the ropes from Hoshi. Hoshi then steps through the ropes into the ring and then gives Rated R an eye gouge.
Ricky Simms - Hoshi is showing a lot of fight this week.
Henry Lesher - She should. She's fighting for food stamps.
Hoshi sets Rated R for and delivers a side Russian leg sweep on him and then she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rated R and a tired Hoshi pauses to catch her breath before she gets to her feet. Hoshi then pulls Rated R up to his feet and gives him a chop to the chest and then another which sends him backward into the corner buckle. Hoshi then sets for a snap suplex, but Rated R blocks it and then he shoves her down to the mat. Rated R then picks Hoshi up and then drops her to the mat with the Restricted and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Rated R eliminates Hoshi Yakamoto!
Ricky Simms - She fought valiantly, but Rated R gets the pin there.
Henry Lesher - Like there was any doubt.
Rated R stands tall inside the ring and waits for another entrant. Shannon Skanes stands at ringside and he looks towards the ramp as well. The fans are silent as they wait to find out if there is anyone else coming or if this is the end and Rated R had once again claimed his spot as the champion of a company run by the Skanes family. No one sees Wren SilverPhoenix jump over the guard railing and slide into the ring, wearing street clothes.
Henry Lesher - Who died and made her Steve Austin?
Rated R turns and takes a knee to the gut from Wren who then gives Rated R a DDT to the mat. Wren then stands Rated R up, again knee him in the gut and then gives him the SilverSpike to the mat before she rolls him over and hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Rated R is eliminated and the referee calls for the bell. "The Enemy" by Godsmack plays as Wren rolls herself out of the ring and then grabs the CWA title belt from the timekeeper. A stunned crowd cheers as she holds the belt high.
Henry Lesher - What the hell just happened?
Ricky Simms - Wren just became the CWA champion!
Wren rolls herself into the ring with the belt in hand and she then climbs to the second rope, holding the belt high with a smile on her face and telling the camera that it is finally her time. She then jumps down, turns and comes face to face with Myst. She holds the belt high again and asks Myst what she is going to do about it.
Ricky Simms - An age old rivalry is once again brought to bear! What will happen now?
Henry Lesher - I'll lose my lunch over the idea that Wren is the champ!
We fade to black as Myst and Wren stand nose to nose, uncertain of what will happen next.
