December 9th Edition

Chilliwack's Prospera Center is packed as we get ready for the first televised C.W.A. event in a very long time. The crowd has started to chant the company name when we hear "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails and the crowd gets to its feet cheering when they see Shannon Skanes making his way out from the back and then down the aisle to the ring. He high fives fans at ringside and then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. He takes a few moments to soak in the atmosphere before he starts to speak.

Shannon Skanes - My God, I forgot how it felt to be inside a C.W.A. ring! I forgot how it felt to stand in my hometown and start a show where I am respected and I have a large number of men and women ready to entertain everyone tonight! You see, tonight marks the start of something new and yet it also marks the return of something old.

"The Memory Remains" by Metallica plays and the crowd cheers when they see Bruce Miller making his way out into the spotlight. He takes a bow before the fans and then he continues his march towards the ring.  He then rolls himself into the ring, springs to his feet and takes the microphone from Shannon Skanes.

Bruce Miller - In 1984, Shannon and I started our careers together. We then went through hell and high water to become legends in this business. Now here we are over twenty years later and we are still the baddest and toughest men in this business. Now I must admit that the past year has been tough. I worked as a road agent and as a referee, but now I am here and I am not wearing the black and white. No, I came here for one reason. Shannon and I are going to lead the new great stable in this industry.

The crowd cheers and Shannon and Bruce smile and nod. Their smiles fade when we hear "Bonecracker" by Shocore and Blair Drake appears in the aisle with a microphone in hand. The crowd gives him a rather mixed response. He just sighs.

Blair Drake - Oh, look here, it must be winter because the elderly are staying indoors and avoiding the cold. Shannon and Bruce are here to tell the world that they are reuniting the Sensational Seven. Well, guess what? No one cares. See, I am the man who has held this damned place together while you were off trying to make AW a success. You all failed and now you're pushing me aside? No, that's not going to happen. This is my show, Shannon.

Shannon Skanes - This is your show? Need I remind you of the event that is rapidly approaching, Drake? Battle of the Warriors 2007 marks twenty years of BOTW. I started that, Blair. That was my baby in 1987 when no one believed that pay per views would be a big deal in this company.

Blair Drake - The only reason you did it was to get the fame and you did it at the expense of a good main event.

Shannon Skanes - Hey, jackass, I fought for seventy-three minutes that night in a steel cage!

Blair Drake - I remember that you built up Terminator as this big challenger and, in the end, he was as lame as his gimmick. I am shocked your company wasn't sued for ripping off a horrible movie.

Shannon Skanes - *smiles* Blair, you're right. I came out here to announce a new Sensational Seven, but now I have a better idea. Tonight marks the tournament before the tournament. Thirty-two C.W.A. Originals will battle it out and sixteen will advance to the BOTW tournament in January. Eight matches tonight and eight next week. You get to fight tonight.

Blair Drake - Oh this should be rich. Which idiot did you dig up for me to face?

Shannon Skanes - Terminator!

The crowd cheers and Blair starts to protest and then heads backstage to find someone to complain to. We then see the opening credits while "Let's Get Rocked" by Def Leppard plays and we see images of Shannon Skanes, Noah Skanes, Vesuvius, Scavenger, Bruce Miller, and Fixxxer before we head to ringside where Joe Davidson and Sammy Jo Johnson are ready to call the action.

Noah Skanes vs. Everest

"Land of Confusion" by Disturbed plays as Everest comes out to a negative reaction from the crowd. He pays no attention to the fans as he makes his way to the ring, the tallest man in the C.W.A. locker room. He pulls himself onto the apron and then steps over the top rope into the ring. Everest then has a few words with referee Jaw Lawrence as his music fades and then we hear "My Way" by Limp Bizkit and the crowd explodes as Originals champion, Noah Skanes, makes his way out from the back. Noah holds his title high and then looks into the ring at Everest and shows him the title before he then quickly makes his way to the ring. He rolls himself under the bottom rope and is greeted by Everest putting the boots to him. The referee then calls for the bell and tonight's action is officially underway.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This is the first of eight matches tonight which will determine who qualifies for the Battle of the Warriors tournament in January.

Joe Davidson - Well, it might be tough to find thirty two men who are in their prime and want to do this, but this match is a great start. Noah has battled through many challengers to get and keep that title and he's not going to be scared of facing the tallest man we have.

Everest stands Noah up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of kicks to the gut. Everest then rakes the eyes of Noah along the top rope while the referee threatens to disqualify Everest for his actions. Everest then whips Noah off the ropes and gives him a big boot to the chest that sends him down to the mat. Everest then gives Noah a leg drop across the throat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Noah rolls a shoulder out. Everest stands Noah up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges into raised knees from Noah. Noah then pulls the feet out from under Everest and then gives him a series of kicks to the ribs. Noah follows this up by trying to place Everest in the figure four leg lock, but Everest kicks him in the back as he is turning him around. Noah sails through the ropes and out to the floor.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Everest is taking advantage of his size advantage over Noah this week.

Joe Davidson - He might think he is, but is he really? Noah is a caged animal under that spoiled rich kid exterior.

Everest rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. He then stands Noah up and takes a thumb to the eye from the champ. Noah then slams Everest's face into the ring apron five times while the fans count them off. Noah then jumps onto the apron and then launches himself off of it, giving Everest a clothesline to the floor. Noah then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count before rolling himself back out again. Noah stands Everest up and then rolls him into the ring before Noah rolls himself into the ring as well.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Noah probably could have win this by count out, but that isn't how he wants it to go down.

Joe Davidson - That's something his father always did, too.

Noah looks to the cheering crowd and waits until Everest is on his feet, Noah then gives Everest an inverted atomic drop that he follows up with a stunner and then he gives Everest what starts out as a side Russian leg sweep, but winds up driving Everest's neck to the mat at a sharper angle than that move ever would. The crowd cheers as Noah then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Noah wins and moves on to the BOTW tournament in January,

Sammy Jo Johnson - The Whippersnapper ends it for Noah here tonight and he looked great against Everest.

Joe Davidson - He could be the tournament winner. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

As Noah leaves the ring and high fives fans while grabbing his title belt and placing it over his shoulder, we look backstage where Bruce Miller is making his way out of the locker room. He is headed off by someone we don't recognize.

Bruce Miller - How may I help you?

Sam Grogan - My father Charles was your partner for years. Now I hear rumors of a Sensational Seven forming and I wait for a call...

Bruce Miller - Kid, you're getting way ahead of yourself. Look, an elite group doesn't just grab kids because of who their fathers are.

Sam Grogan - That spoiled kid Noah is in the group, isn't he?

Bruce Miller - He's the champ, kid. He has proven himself over the past five years. He belongs with us. You prove yourself and I'll be the first to allow you into the group.

Sam Grogan - I know a great way to prove myself. Next week, I face you inside that ring for a chance to head into the BOTW tournament.

Bruce Miller - Okay, you're not working on all cylinders, kid. I am a six time C.W.A. champ. Your father was a good wrestler, but I am a legend.

Sam Grogan - Everything you got was because you're Shannon's best friend. Next week I expose you before the world.

Bruce Miller - You mean Chilliwack? That's hardly the world.

Sam Grogan - See you in seven days, Bruce.

Grogan then walks off and Bruce shakes his head.

Bruce Miller - That kid has had too much sugar and has too few brain cells.

We then head back to the ring.

Samson vs. Jimmy Jack

"Coming Up From Behind" by Marcy Playground plays as Jimmy Jack comes out to the cheers of the crowd, one half of tag legends Chemical Imbalance. Jimmy Jack is accompanied by manager Hank Roberts as he makes his way to ringside and then jumps onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Jimmy then does a few jumping jacks as his music fades and then we hear "Warriors of the World" by Manowar and Samson comes out to a very different reaction than Jimmy Jack got.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Samson made his debut a month ago and stated he will be the next champion and, since that date, has been undefeated. His father Goliath came out to congratulate him on his record a week ago and Samson decked him with a chair.

Joe Davidson - These fans have short memories. Back in his heyday, Goliath was a man of no integrity and he was known for attacking people in a similar manner. He would have done in his own mother for a shot at being the top guy.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That doesn't excuse Samson. He's really brought out the hatred in the fans.

Joe Davidson - That's because he doesn't try to get cheered. He doesn't try to get praise. He doesn't care if anyone likes him as long as he gets what he wants. People will always hate you for that.

Samson reaches ringside where Hank Roberts has a few words for him about his father. Samson just shakes his head and then spits on Hank Roberts. Jimmy Jack then dives through the ropes and shoulder tackles Samson to the floor. Jimmy Jack then rams his head into the steel guard railing repeatedly while referee Milt Jackson tells him to get into the ring. Jimmy then stands Samson up, rolls him into the ring and then rolls himself into the ring as well. Milt Jackson can then call for the bell to get the action officially started.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Looks like another wrestler doesn't care much for Samson.

Joe Davidson - Go ask him if he cares.

Jimmy stands Samson up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges into raised knees from Samson who follows that up with a clothesline that takes Jimmy down to the mat. Samson then puts the boots to Jimmy, then stands him up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a head butt that sends him back down to the mat. The arrogant Samson then tosses his long hair back and smiles, drawing more of the ire of the crowd. He then picks Jimmy up and scoop slams him down to the mat. Samson then does ten push ups next to the fallen Jimmy Jack.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Samson really likes to rub it in everyone's face when he gets the upper hand.

Joe Davidson - That's what he is about, all ego and enraging the fans.

Samson stands Jimmy Jack up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a clothesline in the corner. He then gives Jimmy an arm drag to the mat and then smiles towards the crowd, again throwing his hair back. He then picks Jimmy up and gives him a shoulder breaker and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Samson wins and advances to the Battle of the Warriors tournament.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Watch out for this guy. He is going towards the top fast here.

Joe Davidson - He has to watch himself. His father went to the top fast, too. The crash from the top was just as fast, as I remember it.

Samson exits the ring and starts for the back and we then look backstage where Kathy Smith is with her brother Stan, someone we haven't seen in many years now.

Stan Smith - Why are you still working for this company?

Kathy Smith - It pays the bills and they treat me well.

Stan Smith - You call this well? You're back in a diva division and you're overshadowed by Myst.

Kathy Smith - I don't have a problem with her.

Stan Smith - Maybe you should. Maybe you need family to remind you of what's important.

Kathy Smith - Stan, don't do anything stupid.

Stan Smith - Stupid? I don't think you're in any position to call anyone else stupid.

He storms off and Kathy sighs while looking skyward. We head back to the ring.

Night Dweller vs. Kenshiro

"Mother" by Danzig plays as Night Dweller makes his way out onto the stage, drawing the cheers of the crowd. He is standing on the stage when Kenshiro makes his move, chop blocking Night Dweller down to the steel stage. Kenshiro then places Night Dweller in a headlock and then gives him a DDT onto the stage while the crowd boos Kenshiro. He stands over Night Dweller and shrugs.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Kenshiro is wasting little time here in renewing old friendships. He and Night Dweller had quite the feud a decade ago.

Joe Davidson - These guys really learned to hate each other. Kenshiro was turned down for membership in the Dark Forces stable that Night Dweller ran and it got really ugly from there. He told Kenshiro he wasn't good enough and that caused this kind of violence as Kenshiro did everything he could to prove himself.

Kenshiro drags Night Dweller down the ranp, the crowd starting a chant for the Dark Forces founder. Kenshiro then drops Night Dweller at ringside, climbs onto the apron and then lands a leg drop across the throat of Night Dweller from there. Kenshiro then stands Night Dweller up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. Referee Randy Todd then calls for the bell and Kenshiro goes for the pin right away. 1...2... Night Dweller gets a foot on the bottom rope. Kenshiro then stands Night Dweller up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a vicious karate chop that sends him down to the mat, clutching at his chest.

Sammy Jo Johnson - If Night Dweller doesn't get his act together here, he could go down quick.

Joe Davidson - I can't argue with that analysis.

Kenshiro then stands Night Dweller up and places his throat over the top rope and chokes him with it. Kenshiro breaks the choke before the referee has a chance to reach a five count. Kenshiro then picks Night Dweller up and gives him a power slam to the mat before trying for the pin again. 1...2... kick out by Night Dweller and the fans cheer. Kenshiro then stands Night Dweller up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Kenshiro then drops and rolls himself out of the ring to the floor as well. He stands Night Dweller up and takes a thumb to the eye from Dweller. Night Dweller then slams Kenshiro's face into the ring apron and then whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post.

Sammy Jo Johnson - It looks like Kenshiro made a mistake taking this one out of the ring.

Joe Davidson - Seriously, Night Dweller is a great wrestler when the rules go out the window. He should have just stuck with action inside the ring there.

Night Dweller then rolls himself into the ring and gets to his feet quickly, drawing cheers from the crowd. Night Dweller waits for Kenshiro to pull himself onto the apron and then gives him a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Night Dweller then pulls him into the ring and then sets for and delivers a vertical suplex to the mat. Night Dweller then gets to his feet and puts the boots to Kenshiro. Night Dweller then stands Kenshiro up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Night Dweller is tossing the two hundred and seventy pound Kenshiro around like a rag doll.

Joe Davidson - Night Dweller's power has always been underrated.

Night Dweller waits for Kenshiro to stand and then gives him a spear to the mat. He then gets to his feet and nods his head. He goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top while the fans cheer him on. Night Dweller then launches himself off the top and lands a frog splash onto Kenshiro and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Night Dweller wins and advances into the tournament.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Night Dweller fought back after a pre-match attack and wins the match.

Joe Davidson - You can't underestimate Night Dweller or he'll beat you and quickly.

Night Dweller exits the ring with his arms raised and we take a look backstage. Myst is seen with Ray Dees.

Myst - Why are you here? AW still employs you.

Ray Dees - I... snuck in. I hate being left out. Myst, it's clear Stan Smith could be coming after you. Your thoughts?

Myst - I have been run over, attacked with weapons and hunted by an entire roster. I am not worried about Kathy Smith's idiot brother.

Ray Dees - He seems kind of off, though.

Myst - From what I understand, he has always been off. Tonight is about the new generation of the CWA.

Ray Dees - Who do you think will win the Battle of the Warriors tournament?

Myst - My son will win it. I have full faith in him.

Ray Dees - You have to love nepotism.

We then head back to the ring.

Vesuvius vs. Sandman

"Fuel" by Metallica plays as Sandman comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He stands on stage and smiles as he looks around at a CWA arena for the first time in a few years. He then starts making his way down the ramp and winks at the camera.

Sammy Jo Johnson - You can't confuse this four hundred pound CWA star with the ECW wrestler of the same name. This Sandman was a CWA champion in 1992 and he has proven himself to be a lot tougher than people give him credit for. Tonight he is matched against his former leader in Vesuvius.

Joe Davidson - It's not the first meeting between these two, Sandman feeling he never really gets the respect he deserves. I must agree that he gets the least respect of the former CWA champions. I don't know if it's his weight or his comedic stories he has been in since. Whatever it is, a victory tonight could really turn it around for him.

Sandman walks up the ring steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He then starts having a few words with referee while his music fades and then we hear "Mine Teil" by Rammstein and the crowd erupts when they see former CWA champ Vesuvius stepping out onto the stage with Xandra at his side. He actually pauses and bows to the crowd and then makes his way down the ramp while Sandman watches him from the center of the ring. Vesuvius reaches ringside and has a few words with his woman and then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps over the top rope into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Vesuvius is the taller man, but he is giving up about seventy pounds here.

Joe Davidson - It makes for an interesting dynamic, though Vesuvius is just so damned good in matches like this with so much on the line.

Referee Jaw Lawrence calls for the bell and Vesuvius takes a step towards Sandman. Sandman puts his hands up and signals that he wants to test his strength against Vesuvius. Vesuvius looks to the crowd and they cheer. Vesuvius then moves in and locks his hands with Sandman. The two men strain against each other as they fight to get the advantage and a chant for Vesuvius starts in the crowd. Xandra claps along with the chant and then she slaps the apron and screams at Vesuvius. Vesuvius starts to gain the advantage in the test of strength and Sandman answers that with a kick to the gut on Vesuvius and then another. A third kick breaks their lock with one another and Sandman then gives Vesuvius a fireman's carry into a side slam to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Sandman takes a shortcut to get the early advantage here.

Joe Davidson - Sometimes that is what it takes.

Sandman then applies a sleeper hold on Vesuvius and the referee checks for a submission. Vesuvius refuses to give up and reaches for the ropes while Sandman tries to strengthen his hold on his former mentor in this match. Vesuvius leans forward and manages to grab the bottom rope on his second effort. The referee forces the break of the sleeper by Sandman. Sandman then stands Vesuvius up and whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks to the ribs. Sandman follows that up with a belly to belly overhead slam to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Vesuvius rolls a shoulder out.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Very strong start for Sandman in this match up tonight.

Joe Davidson - He's keeping Vesuvius off his feet and that's what he needs to do if he hopes to win this.

Sandman lowers an elbow smash to the throat on Vesuvius. Sandman then gets to his feet and then gives Vesuvius a knee to the forehead before again going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vesuvius. Sandman then stands Vesuvius up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop on the big man. Vesuvius instead knees Sandman in the face and then gives him a series of kicks to the chest before giving Sandman a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Vesuvius then stands over Sandman and nods his head.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Sandman needs to break the momentum of Vesuvius here.

Joe Davidson - That is easier said than done.

Vesuvius picks Sandman up and gives him a power slam to the mat. Vesuvius then stands Sandman up, places him in a headlock and then climbs to the second rope. He then leaps off, twists in the air and gives Sandman a brutal DDT to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Vesuvius gets the win and moves on to the tournament at Battle of the Warriors in January!

Sammy Jo Johnson - What a win for Vesuvius as he shows his power by tossing the four hundred pound Sandman around like a rag doll.

Joe Davidson - This tournament has quite the first four in Noah Skanes, Samson, Night Dweller and Vesuvius. That really has me wanting to watch the proceedings already.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The legends of the CWA and the new stars of the CWA are working at winning this prestigious tournament, but the eventual winner may not even be seen tonight as we have the first eight qualifiers this week and the other eight will be seen next Saturday.

Joe Davidson - This is why this company is so damned famous around the world.

Vesuvius exits the ring and starts making his way up the ramp. Sandman shows signs of life and he won't be impressed when he comes to and realizes he failed to reach the sixteen man tournament for this year. As vesuvius heads onto the stage and then through the curtain, we look backstage where Stan Smith turns a corner with a crow bar in hand only to come face to face with Shannon Skanes.

Shannon Skanes - You're a complete idiot.

Stan Smith - I am sick of your family screwing my sister over.

Shannon Skanes - Need I remind you that Kathy is engaged to marry Missy?

Stan Smith - Myst and you screwed her over and someone has to defend her.

Shannon Skanes - You know the best thing about being here in the CWA with you, Stan?

Stan Smith - No, enlighten me.

Shannon Skanes - I can beat the hell out of people.

Shannon spears Stan into the wall. The crow bar falls to the floor and Shannon shoves Stan into the nearest janitor's closet. He then bars the door shut with a chair propped against the door knob while we hear Stan violently fighting to get himself free. Shannon leans against the door and smiles.

Shannon Skanes - Stan, you come after Myst again... I will destroy you. I will forget my match with Blair Drake and I will destroy you instead. Keep that in mind, buddy. Pick your battles carefully.

Shannon walks off while Stan punches the door and screams inside the janitor's closet. We head back to the ring.

Clayton Fear vs. Danny Dixon

"Coming Up From Behind" by Marcy Playground plays and Danny Dixon gets as loud of an ovation as Jimmy Jack did earlier tonight. Danny is followed by manager Hank Roberts to the ring. Danny rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then poses in the middle of it for the cheering crowd. Danny then climbs the ropes and takes a seat on the top rope in the corner while his music fades. We then hear "Comedown" by Bush and we see Clayton Fear coming out to resounding boos from the crowd. Following him is the hated Calvin Kool who is already screaming at Hank Roberts before they are even half way down the ramp.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This fight has some history to it. Clayton came out three weeks ago with Calvin there and they made an open challenge. Danny answered it and pinned Clayton Fear with a surprise roll up. Clayton has won his matches the past two weeks, but he said he will prove tonight that Danny's win was only a fluke.

Joe Davidson - Chemical Imbalance is, in my mind, probably the best tag team in CWA history. The reason I say that is that these guys are equally dangerous as single wrestlers as they are in tag matches and yet they never split up.

Sammy Jo Johnson - They are a rarity.

Clayton Fear climbs onto the apron and tells referee Jon Shocker to get Danny Dixon to back off before he will enter the ring. Jon Shocker gets Danny to back off and then Clayton slowly steps through the ropes. The bell sounds and the match is officially underway, Clayton's chance for redemption tonight. He moves in and lock up with Danny. He then gives Danny a kick to the gut which breaks the lock up and then places him in a standing side headlock. Danny then backs Clayton into the ropes and then whips him off the ropes. Clayton gives Danny a shoulder block down to the mat and then gives him an elbow across the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Danny Dixon. Clayton then stands Danny up, whips him off the ropes and Danny ducks a clothesline before he then gives Clayton a series of punches to the face. Danny then gives Clayton a standing dropkick that sends him down to the mat. Danny then gives Clayton a rolling thunder and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Clayton Fear.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Danny almost scored another upset win with that one.

Joe Davidson - If Dixon scores the upset, Clayton will become unglued.

Danny stands Clayton up, whips him into the nearest corner and then gives him a monkey flip to the middle of the ring. Danny then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top rope while the crowd cheers him on. He dives, trying for a flying elbow but he finds no one home as Clayton rolls out of the way. Clayton then quickly gets to his feet and collects himself. He grabs Danny Dixon by the hair, pulls him to his knees and then gives him a head butt back to the mat. Clayton then two handed chokes Danny Dixon while the referee counts towards a potential disqualification. Clayton releases the choke in time, though and so the match continues.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Clayton has quite the temper and I think that costs him some nights.

Joe Davidson - Oh it costs him, all right. It costs him big time.

Clayton stands Danny up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Clayton then picks Danny up over his shoulder and runs him towards the corner buckle. Danny slides off Clayton's shoulder and shoves him face first into the corner buckle. Danny then gives Clayton a German suplex to the mat and holds him down for the back bridge pin attempt. 1...2...3! Danny scores another upset win over Clayton Fear!

Sammy Jo Johnson - Everyone back away from Clayton Fear.

Joe Davidson - Never count Danny Dixon out. He has been a great wrestler for years and is probably one of the most underrated wrestlers in this company.

Sammy Jo Johnson - No argument there, Joe.

Danny exits the ring and embraces his manager Hank Roberts while Calvin Kool has a fit outside the ring. Inside the ring, Clayton argues with referee Jon Shocker about tonight's result. Jon Shocker just shrugs and tells him it was a valid three count. Clayton looks skyward and sighs. He then gives Jon Shocker a knee to the ribs and a DDT to the mat. Clayton Fear then rolls himself out of the ring and starts towards the back while fans mock and boo him.

Sammy Jo Johnson - We expected that kind of sportsmanship from Clayton. Maybe he forgets that Jon Shocker can wrestle.

Joe Davidson - He may get a reminder next week.

Backstage we see Goliath with interviewer Shawna Miller.

Shawna Miller - Goliath, tonight your son won his match and moved forward in a tournament you have also chosen to participate in. Have you considered the chance you may have to fight Samson?

Goliath - You know, I have been training wrestlers for a decade now. I decided to come back to active duty because it's that old itch and sometimes you need to scratch it. I am not sure why my son has decided to go with shortcuts and he is trying to get everyone to hate him. I don't understand his attack on me, but that's fine. I am aware that winning this tournament may require me to defeat my own son. I am prepared to do that if that's what it takes.

Shawna Miller - What do you say to people who just state he is taking after you?

Goliath - There isn't much to say really. I did these things myself as a young wrestler. In July of 1988 I became the CWA champ and in August I lost that title again. Arrogance may get a man to the top, but an abundance of arrogance will weigh you down and you sink.

Shawna Miller - I sense this is not what you would have said twenty years ago though.

Goliath - Right and that's why I understand Samson. I understand some reasons behind all of this. I just wish he didn't need to learn the tough lessons at this early stage of his career. He may have schooled Jimmy Jack tonight, but his next match could be against someone like Vesuvius or Scavenger and the result of that would be quite different.

Shawna Miller - Do you see Samson as a future world champ?

Goliath - My son has the desire to be champ. It's really all up to him.

Shawna Miller - Thanks for your time and best of luck to you.

Goliath - Thanks, gorgeous, I feel good about this comeback.

Goliath walks off and we head back to the ring.

Blair Drake vs. Terminator

"You Could Be Mine" by Guns N Roses plays as the crowd gets to their feet to welcome Terminator for his first televised appearance in nearly a decade. He is actually smiling as he stands on the edge of the stage and looks out to the cheering throng of CWA fans. Even in the tight confines of Chilliwack's Prospera Centre, where they have managed to squeeze in over 5,000 people for tonight's show, it's enough of an atmosphere to give a veteran wrestler chills. Terminator then starts down the ramp towards the ring and he then makes a full lap around the ring, giving fans high fives and he even stops to remove his sunglasses and hand them to a lucky little boy in the front row. Terminator then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That's a CWA legend who never held a major singles title.

Joe Davidson - Yeah, that really stands out. I remember when Battle of the Warriors '87 came and he battled Shannon for seventy-three minutes inside a steel cage. There was no time limit, no rules and no holding back. It really broke Terminator's spirit when he failed to win the title that night. Shannon went on to become the most dominant CWA champ we had ever seen until Bruce Miller took the reigns and now his son Noah seems to be on a similar streak.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Which then breeds jealousy like Stan Smith has shown backstage tonight.

Joe Davidson - Hey, we have all been jealous. I was jealous myself, but now I see that this was how things had to be and the right people were at the top. If I wanted to change that, I should have got myself into better shape and tried harder. Some of us just can't deal with the idea we aren't the top star in the company.

Terminator's music fades and then we hear "Bonecracker" by Shocore and the crowd greets Blair Drake with a mixed reaction. He pays them no mind and runs down the ramp and then slides into the ring. Terminator takes advantage of this entrance, putting the boots to Blair as referee Milt Jackson calls for the bell to get this match started. Terminator then gives Blair a series of double axe handle smashes across the back. Terminator then stands Blair up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Terminator then poses in the middle of the ring while the fans cheer. Blair slowly gets to his feet on the floor. He then pulls himself onto the apron where Terminator greets him with a right hook that sends Blair right back down to the floor.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Terminator means business tonight.

Joe Davidson - He's a tough guy. Blair is learning that first hand. I am sure Terminator took exception to Blair's comments as well.

Blair gets to his feet and paces at ringside, clearly upset and frustrated with this turn of events. Blair pulls himself onto the apron again. He is then given the space to step into the ring, but Terminator greets him with a series of knife edge chops to the throat. Terminator then whips Blair off the ropes and then gives him a big boot to the chest that sends him back down to the mat. Terminator then gives Blair a splash and goes for the pin. 1...2... Blair kicks out. Terminator then stands Blair up and whips him into the corner buckle. Terminator charges into the corner only to find no one home as Blair side steps him, then sends Terminator shoulder first into the steel corner post.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Just like that, the tables turn in this one.

Joe Davidson - That's how things go when you have two top notch wrestlers going at it inside the ring.

Blair Drake gives terminator an elbow to the spine and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Blair then pulls Terminator to the middle of the ring and tries to apply a figure four leg lock on the legend, but Terminator kicks Blair into the corner buckle instead. Terminator then quickly gets to his feet and stands nose to nose with Blair. They start trading rights and lefts while the crowd cheers. Blair then thumbs Terminator in the eye and follows that up by raking his eyes along the top rope before giving him a sucker punch to the throat. Blair then grabs Terminator by the hair and pulls him down to the mat, then argues to the referee that he didn't pull the hair.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I think Blair is waking up here and realizing that Terminator is not a pushover.

Joe Davidson - That happens a lot these days. Anyone who has over ten years of wrestling experience gets tagged as old and fragile by the younger people in the locker room. They're always in for a surprise.

Blair stands Terminator up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Blair then drops and rolls himself out to the floor as well. Blair starts trading rights and lefts on the floor with Terminator. Terminator then takes another thumb to the eye from Blair. A blinded Terminator then grabs a chair and picks it up, a moment later swinging it and hitting Blair square in the face with it. The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Terminator. Terminator pays no attention to the bell and starts wailing away on Blair with the steel chair.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Terminator has snapped.

Joe Davidson - It's maddening when your opponent keeps trying to destroy your vision in a match. That's why i always use that tactic. Blair moves on and Terminator goes home. It's that simple.

As Terminator rears back with the chair again, a man in a black hockey mask charges down the ramp and then makes his way to where Terminator is and starts talking him down.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That's Killer! Terminator and Killer formed a tag team known as TKO in the early to mid 90s and they were dominant. I had no clue he was even here.

Joe Davidson - I wonder if that's the same black hockey mask.

Terminator throws the chair down to the floor and shakes hands with Killer. The two of them then head to the ramp and head up to the stage while the crowd cheers them on, clearly pleased with this tag team reunion happening before their eyes. We then look backstage where Calvin Kool is charging into Shannon's office.

Shannon Skanes - This isn't AW, Cal. We don't do these office charges.

Calvin Kool - Danny Dixon is a fluke and a fraud! I want best two out of three with Dixon against my man Clayton Fear!

Shannon Skanes - Last count was Danny had two falls and Clayton had zero, so that boat has already sailed.

Calvin Kool - I won't allow this to stand.

Shannon Skanes - It's not your call. Look, don't piss me off on our first night back. What do you expect me to do?

Calvin Kool - Clayton belongs in the tournament.

Shannon Skanes - If he did, he would have won tonight. Better luck next year, Cal.

Calvin Kool - This isn't over.

Shannon Skanes - By my count, it's completely over. Get out of my office before I have you thrown out of the building.

Calvin storms out of the office and screams as he heads down the hallway.

Shannon Skanes - This isn't AW, Cal! No one storms into my office here!

We head back to the ring.

Fixxxer vs. Scarecrow

"Mouth" by Bush plays as Fixxxer comes out onto the stage to a loud ovation from the crowd. He then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring while fireworks are shot off from the stage area. He then slides into the ring and follows that up by going to the nearest corner and then climbs to the second rope and poses for the fans. Fixxxer then jumps down, goes to the opposite corner and stands on the second rope again while we see camera flashes from the crowd and hear the cheers of a crowd that has always loved Fixxxer. He then jumps down as his music fades out and we then hear "Dr. Feelgood" by Motley Crue and the crowd boos when they see Scarecrow coming out onto the stage, trailed by manager Calvin Kool.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Let's see if Calvin's Army can win one over Fixxxer here. Clayton Fear suffered a setback, so I am sure Cal has put the pressure on  Scarecrow for this match.

Joe Davidson - It's an odd fact. Many men who have been managed by Calvin go on to great success, but they usually do so without him. I wouldn't mention that to his face, though since he's touchy about that fact.

Scarecrow makes his way down the ramp and we see Calvin shouting commands to him, though we aren't sure that Scarecrow is hearing them. He isn't taking his eyes off of Fixxxer as he makes his way to the ring. Scarecrow then makes his way up the ring steps, steps through the ropes and then the fist fight starts as the bell sounds to get this match underway. Scarecrow then gives Fixxxer an eye gouge, followed by a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Scarecrow then whips Fixxxer off the ropes and then gives him a round house kick to the chest that sends him down to the mat. Scarecrow then picks Fixxxer up and then gives him a slam to the mat. Scarecrow then climbs the ropes in the nearest corner, perches himself on the second rope and waits for Fixxxer to stand before giving him a clothesline from there. Scarecrow then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Fixxxer.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Scarecrow seems to be in a hurry to end this one.

Joe Davidson - That's probably Calvin's call.

Scarecrow stands Fixxxer up and then whips him into the nearest corner. Scarecrow then perches himself on the second rope and starts raining down punches to the face on Fixxxer. Fixxxer takes ten punches, then grabs the legs of Scarecrow and gives him an inverted atomic drop. Fixxxer then gives Scarecrow an overhead belly to belly suplex. Fixxxer follows that up by using the ropes to execute a springboard moonsault onto Scarecrow. Fixxxer then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scarecrow.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Close call there.

Joe Davidson - I think Calvin's going to explode here if Scarecrow fails to advance.

Fixxxer stands Scarecrow up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Fixxxer then goes to the corner buckle and starts climbing the ropes. Calvin starts screaming at Fixxxer from ringside. Fixxxer responds by turning and diving at Calvin, giving him a flying body press to the floor which brings cheers from the capacity crowd. Fixxxer then gets to his feet on the floor and takes a baseball slide from Scarecrow that sends him falling into the guard railing. Scarecorw then exits the ring to the floor and starts putting the boots to Fixxxer while nearby fans start a chant for Fixxxer. Scarecrow tells them to shut up, then stands Fixxxer up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring as well.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Calvin managed to distract Fixxxer and now the match is going the way he wants it to.

Joe Davidson - That's what he has done for years.

Scarecrow stands Fixxxer up, whips him off the ropes and then ducks his head for a backdrop. Fixxxer instead stops himself and then he gives Scarecrow a swinging neck breaker to the mat. Fixxxer then goes for the pin. 1...2... Scarecrow kicks out. Fixxxer then stands Scarecrow up and whips him into the corner buckle before then giving Scarecrow a series of shoulder blocks. Fixxxer then gives Scarecrow a vertical suplex to the mat, then stands him up and sets for another. Scarecrow blocks the suplex and then gives Fixxxer a vertical suplex to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Now the action is even between the two of them.

Joe Davidson - You mention BOTW in front of a CWA Original and this is what you get. They will do anything to be featured in the tournament and have a shot at the money and prestige that winning it guarantees.

Scarecrow stands Fixxxer up and whips him into the corner buckle. He then charges into a clothesline from Fixxxer who then goes back to the corner and jumps to the top rope and then lands a somersault leg drop to the throat on Scarecrow before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Fixxxer scores the win over Scarecrow and moves on to the tournament.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That was impressive.

Joe Davidson - As he himself would say, the Fix is in!

Fixxxer rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and starts making his way up the ramp while a shocked and dismayed Calvin Kool enters the ring and stands over his fallen follower. He is batting zero so far tonight and is clearly upset about it. We then look backstage where Shannon is drinking a coffee and making his way towards the exit. He is headed off by Danny Dixon.

Shannon Skanes - Hey Danny, congratulations on the win tonight.

Danny Dixon - Someone attacked Bruce.

Shannon Skanes - What?

Shannon follows Danny down the hallway and around the corner into Bruce's dressing room where medics are attending to a bloodied Bruce.

Shannon Skanes - What the hell happened?

Danny Dixon - Jimmy and I are working on that one. The only two we haven't been able to rule out are Sam Grogan and Stan Smith.

Shannon Skanes - I'd hate to see a Grogan pull something like this. Let's go find Smith.

Danny Dixon - Neither of them are inside the building right now. Word has it that Sam freed Stan from the janitor's closet and minutes later Bruce was found lying in a pool of his own blood.

Shannon Skanes - I'll get to the bottom of this.

Danny Dixon - Both of them are opposed to you and Bruce creating a new Sensational Seven.

Shannon Skanes - People know we can't be stopped when we're united.

Shannon then curses under his breath and punches the wall. We head back to the ring.

Steve Hawkins vs. Tough Eagle

"Wild Hearted Son" by The Cult plays as Tough Eagle comes out to the cheers of the crowd. He smiles and waves to his fans and he also high fives some of them from the ramp on his way to the ring. He then makes his way up the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He tests the ropes while his music fades and then we hear "Cowboy" by Kid Rock and Steve Hawkins comes out to a more mixed reaction. He has a smile on his face and tells the camera it is a shame Bruce Miller won't be going to BOTW.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I don't know how they ruled this guy out as Bruce's attacker. They feuded for years.

Joe Davidson - Steve isn't one for attacks like that. He is far more likely to do that in front of people and allow it to be a fair fight for awhile. That was a cowardly attack. It's Hawkins in your face attitude that has made it so fans can never truly hate the guy.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That said, he has no love for Bruce Miller.

Joe Davidson - No, they are as close to mortal enemies as you get in this company, probably on par with Blair Drake and Shannon Skanes in that regard.

Steve makes his way to ringside and then pulls himself up onto the apron where he starts arguing with Eagle. He then steps through the ropes into the ring where Eagle greets him with a series of rights and lefts to the side of the head. Eagle then gives Steve a hip toss to the mat. Eagle then picks up Hawkins' cowboy hat off the mat and poses with it before he then gives Hawkins a bionic elbow between the eyes. Eagle then throws the hat out to the crowd, stands Hawkins up and whips him hard into the corner buckle. Hawkins staggers out of the corner and then falls flat on his face from there. Eagle then wastes no time in placing Steve into a Boston Crab which causes referee Randy Todd to check for a submission here.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Hawkins had better get things going here or he risks leaving the tournament before it starts.

Joe Davidson - Eagle is another wrestler that people underrate. He has always been one of the best of the bigger men in this company. For a man who weighs close to three hundred and fifty pounds, he moves very well.

Steve Hawkins reaches for the ropes while Eagle leans back to try and force him to give up. Though he is clearly in pain, Hawkins refuses to give up here and he pushes himself up from the mat onto his elbows. He crawls a pace or two towards the ropes and then makes a serious lunge, managing to grab the bottom rope and force the break. Hawkins then pulls himself out of the ring to the floor where he hopes to regroup. Eagle rolls himself out to the floor, not willing to allow Hawkins any kind of breather in this match. Eagle gives Steve a vicious knife edge chop to the chest that echoes from the rafters. Eagle then gives Hawkins a head butt that sends him down to the floor. Eagle then stands Hawkins up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Impressive showing for Eagle and Hawkins is back on his heels.

Joe Davidson - Eagle has a bad temper and Hawkins seems to have tripped that before the match started. So far, it has completely backfired.

Eagle stands Hawkins up and gives him a knee to the gut and then a double under hook suplex to the mat. Eagle then lands a knee to the forehead on Hawkins before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Steve Hawkins. Eagle then picks Hawkins up and gives him a gorilla press slam to the mat. Eagle then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. he goes for a splash off the top rope, but Hawkins rolls out of the way and Eagle knocks the wind out of himself when he hits the mat. Hawkins then uses the ropes to quickly gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Eagle.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Hawkins is like a wild animal when he gets his opening in a match.

Joe Davidson - That's another factor that makes it hard to hate him.

Hawkins stands Eagle up and then rakes his eyes along the top rope. He follows that up with a face buster to the mat before he tries for the pin. 1...2... Eagle rolls a shoulder out in time. Hawkins then stands Eagle up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a lariat to the mat. Hawkins then stands Eagle up and whips him into the corner buckle. He then gives him a dropkick in the corner and then perches himself on the ropes, preparing to rain punches down on Eagle, but Eagle pushes him away and down to the mat. Eagle then gives him a running knee lift to the face and then looks skyward and lets out a scream. Eagle picks Hawkins up and heads for the nearest corner and starts climbing the ropes. Hawkins, sensing he is in trouble, grabs the middle rope and then manages to swing his weight towards Eagle and knocks him down to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Eagle was going for the top rope power slam there. I don't know how he ever learned that.

Joe Davidson - It shows the ultimate in balance, but Hawkins stopped him from executing it.

Hawkins picks Eagle up and slams him down to the mat. Steve then stands Eagle up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a knee to the gut and then a DDT to the mat. He then goes for the pin, placing his feet on the bottom rope for added leverage. 1...2...3! The referee missed it and Hawkins is the winner, which draws boos from the crowd. Hawkins rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and bows to the crowd before he starts making his way towards the back.

Sammy Jo Johnson - We are half way through the tournament qualifiers and Hawkins is number eight. He joins his friend Blair Drake, Samson, Fixxxer, Vesuvius, Night Dweller, Danny Dixon and Noah Skanes in what is shaping up to be a star studded event that could be won by anybody.

Joe Davidson - Tough Eagle will not be winning it.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That is true. Next week, we already know Sam Grogan will be facing Bruce Miller for a shot at being in the tournament, if Bruce is ready to wrestle. We'll have seven other star studded matches and maybe we will learn who will comprise the new Sensational Seven.

Joe Davidson - There are a lot of people who don't want to see that happen.

We fade to black on Steve Hawkins smiling as he stands on stage and raises his hands high, telling the camera that the tournament belongs to him. That remains to be seen, of course.
