December 17th, 2006

The capacity crowd fills the Prospera center with cheers as they wait for the latest edition of CWA Warriors, a show one left for dead and now very much alive. The crowd cheers as images of their favorite wrestlers are shown on the big screen above the ring. We then Hear "Come With Me" by Puff Daddy and the crowd cheers when they see Tony Parizi making his way towards the ring. Tony stops at ringside and has a few words with a young fan there who is dressed like a mini Parizi. This brings a smile to the face of Tony and then the made man makes his way up the ring steps and then steps into the ring. He has a microphone in hand.

Tony Parizi - Well, here we are. The CWA is back in business and I am here because business is good. Last week, Shannon Skanes and Bruce Miller were inside this very ring where they intended to reveal a very excellent reunion of some great talent. Now here I am to finish what they started because Blair Drake couldn't keep his nose out of it.

"Bonecracker" by Shocore plays as Blair Drake makes his way out towards the ring. He has a smile on his face and actually appears to enjoy the scorn of the fans here tonight. He raises a hand to his ear as if he can't hear them while Tony Parizi glares at him from the middle of the ring. As he did last week, Blair is also carrying a microphone and he is never afraid to speak on it.

Blair Drake - These fans are here tonight to see a lot of things, but a reunion of fossils isn't on that list. See, we can watch movies about dinosaurs and the fantasy is fascinating, but the reality of dinosaurs is something quite different. Last week saw myself and Steve Hawkins winning matches. Oh I may not have won the way I was meant to, but I won anyway and Terminator will get what he has coming to him soon enough. Shannon's kid won't last long in this event. The Sensational Sevem won't even make it to the event, Tony. It's all old news. Even the music is a remake of a fossil that no one cares about.

Tony Parizi - You know what sucks, Blair? It sucks you have been a failure for so damned long now. You have spent a decade chasing the title and maybe a month holding it. You're a joke and you know it. You know it because everyone knows it and, eventually, you have to face the facts.

Blair Drake - What facts are those?

Tony Parizi - You can't stop this...

"New Sensation" by INXS plays and the crowd cheers as second generation stars, Cody Anderson and Trevor Lang come out onto the stage and march their way down the ramp towards a shocked looking Blair Drake. They each grab one arm of Blair Drake's, pick him up and carry him to the ring and shove him under the bottom rope into the ring. They then roll themselves into the ring and make it clear that Blair doesn't have the choice to leave.

Sammy Jo Johnson - It looks like Blair's not getting his way tonight.

Anderson and Lang's music fades and then we hear "Coming Up From Behind" by Marcy Playground and the fans get another chance to cheer as Danny Dixon and Jimmy Jack come out and start making their way towards the ring. They high five fans as they make their way around the ring and then they jump onto the apron where they stay as their music fades. We then hear "The Memory Remains" by Metallica and the crowd cheers even louder as Bruce Miller starts making his way to the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Blair looks ready to cry.

Steve Blake - I can tell you why, Sammy. He figured, as we all did, that the Sensational Seven would be the usual people. Including the New Sensations and Chemical Imbalance is huge.

Bruce Miller pulls himself onto the apron and then jumps over the top rope into the ring where he stands face to face with Blair while Anderson and Lang hold him still. As he has a few words with Blair, we hear "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails and Shannon Skanes comes out and stands on stage and soaks in the cheers of the crowd. He then waits on stage and is then joined by his son Noah and the two of them make their way down the ramp while Tony Parizi applauds inside the ring. Shannon and Noah then step up onto the apron and then step through the ring before Shannon then grabs the microphone from Blair.

Shannon Skanes - Here we go again. Blair Drake has been a thorn in my side for a decade. In one month, we have Battle of the Warriors 2007 and it will feature a great tournament, a great card and a chance for the CWA to show the world we are still the very best around. At that event, you and I have a little match inside a cage. The thing is, we won't be alone. See, my wife was attacked last week and I am not going to let that stand. The Sensational Seven will make these kinds of attacks history, Blair. Thing is, I know who did it. This man hates you as much as he hates me and I am going to face him and you at the same damned time at Battle of the Warriors. Stan Smith, I know you're back there listening. I am going to take two worthless pieces of trash out at the same damned time. I'll see you next month.

Shannon throws the microphone down and leads the new Sensational Seven from the ring and up the ramp while the crowd cheers them on.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This could be the start of a huge night.

Steve Blake - I would say so. It's great to see this group in action once again.

Backstage we see Goliath entering the building where he is head off by his son Samson.

Goliath - What do you want?

Samson - Dad, when I attacked you, people wanted to know why. They wanted to know how I could do such a thing and the reality is, I had to teach you a lesson.

Goliath - *smiles* Oh this should be good.

Samson - Last week I handled Jimmy Jack and I moved into the Battle of the Warriors tournament. Tonight, you are going to fail to do the same thing.

Goliath - You already have this decided?

Samson - Dad, you're a great teacher. You can create good wrestlers. You're just not a great wrestler yourself, not anymore. I am trying to show you that it's just time for you to go.

Goliath - Kid... when I win tonight, I want to face you at Battle of the Warriors and show you what your old man's still got.

Samson - I'm on my way up, Dad. It would be a huge mistake for you to even try it.

Goliath - Just watch me.

Goliath storms off while the hated Samson just watches and laughs.

Scavenger vs. Deep Freeze

"Angry Again" by Megadeth plays as Deep Freeze comes out onto the stage where the crowd gives him a mixed reaction. He looks skyward and screams as fire shoots off from the sides of the stage and then the big man starts making his way down the ramp. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He poses for the crowd, but he doesn't get a very positive reaction from them. His music then fades and we hear "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by Type O Negative and Scavenger comes out onto the stage where the crowd greets him with resounding cheers. Scavenger bows and then holds his steely chair high in his right hand.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Scavenger always gets a great crowd reaction.

Steve Blake - This man is a true warrior and this time of year always brings out the best in him. I don't think Deep Freeze has much of a chance.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Of course, we would like to pass along our best wishes to his wife as she is a little past due to have their first child. By this time next week, Scavenger should be a father.

Steve Blake - If that doesn't scare you, nothing will.

Scavenger races to ringside and then places his chair next to the ring and has a few words with the steely justice that is the chair. He then makes his way up the ring steps and has a few words with Deep Freeze, a man who was his tag team partner years ago. Scavenger then steps through the ropes into the ring. Deep Freeze offers to shake hands with Scavenger. Scavenger just laughs and shakes his head. The two men then lock up. Freeze then shoves Scavenger into the corner where he delivers a series of forearms to the head on the popular lunatic. Freeze then knees Scavenger in the gut and then gives him a double under hook suplex to the mat.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Deep Freeze and Scavenger are no strangers.

Steve Blake - Freeze is also making Scavenger friends with the mat here.

Freeze picks Scavenger up and gives him a power slam to the mat and then goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Freeze then stands Scavenger up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges in for a shoulder block only to find no one home as Scavenger steps out of the way. Scavenger then gives Freeze a double axe handle smash across the back and then puts the boots to him. Scavenger then stands Deep Freeze up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block to the mat which draws the cheers of the fans.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Scavenger always gets a solid reaction from the crowd.

Steve Blake - He certainly is hard to hate, even for a grizzled ring veteran like me who hates pretty near everyone.

Scavenger stands Deep Freeze up and whips him into the corner buckle, then gives him a hip toss back to the middle of the ring. Scavenger then stands Deep Freeze up and takes an eye gouge from Freeze. Freeze then gives Scavenger a knee to the gut and then whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Freeze then drops and rolls himself out to the floor as well while the crowd starts a chant for Scavenger. Deep Freeze stands Scavenger up and slams his face into the ring apron. He then picks Scavenger up and body slams him to the floor. Freeze then stands Scavenger up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Freeze is really taking over here.

Steve Blake - Well, Deep Freeze is one of those guys who has never been able to quite get over that hump and his jealousy towards Scavenger has been well documented.

Deep Freeze pulls Scavenger to the middle of the ring and then applies a figure four leg lock. Referee Frank Simpson checks for a submission, but Scavenger refuses to give up as chants for him grow louder. Scavenger reaches for the ropes while Freeze tries to tighten his hold. Scavenger starts pulling himself and the weight of Deep Freeze towards the ropes. Scavenger reaches for the ropes, but is still too far away to reach them. Deep Freeze shouts at Scavenger to give up.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Freeze really wants the win here.

Steve Blake - He needs it more than Scavenger does.

Scavenger starts to turn the hold over while the fans urge him on. Deep Freeze then reaches for the ropes to strengthen his hold. Seeing Freeze grabs the ropes, the referee forces the break of the hold. Scavenger then uses the ropes to get to his feet. He then goes to the second rope and waits for Deep Freeze to get to his feet and then launches himself, drilling Freeze to the mat with a spear before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Scavenger earns the win and advances to the Battle of the Warriors tournament!

Sammy Jo Johnson - Add another huge win to Scavenger's record.

Steve Blake - He is the most dangerous man in this company when it comes to tournaments. History has shown that.

Scavenger rolls himself out of the ring and high fives fans before he makes his way to the ramp and then starts making his way to the backstage area. We see Cordelia Parizi with Shawna Miller.

Shawna Miller - I understand you want to throw a challenge out there.

Cordelia Parizi - Corina is here somewhere and I have unfinished business with her. I challenge her to a match next week.

Shawna Miller - Why the obsession with her?

Cordelia Parizi - She knows. Only she knows. Everyone thinks it's petty or that I am crazy, but you'll all know soon enough. Next week, Corina, you and me inside this ring.

Cordelia storms off and we head back to the ring.

Goliath vs. Gravity

"Stripped" by Rammstein plays as Gravity comes out to a negative reaction from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp, trailed by Calvin Kool who bows to the fans and then tells the camera he is about to make it into the tournament. Gravity reaches ringside and then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. He then tests the ropes while his music fades and we then hear "Gypsy Road" by Cinderella and Goliath comes out to loud cheers from the fans. He is taken aback by this reaction, but only pauses a moment before he starts making his way down the ramp and then slides into the ring where Gravity starts putting the boots to him before he has a chance to get to his feet. Gravity then stands him up and whips him into the corner buckle where he then gives Goliath a clothesline as the bell finally sounds to make this match official.

Sammy Jo Johnson - This should be a tough one. These are two big men and two of the toughest we have in the CWA.

Steve Blake - Goliath was always the toughest in the locker room back in the day. From what I hear, Gravity is usually recognized as the toughest now, though Samson is taking after his father and could take his place as the toughest that we have.

Gravity stands Goliath up, then sets him up for a vertical suplex to the mat, holding him in the air for an extra few seconds to let him think about it. Gravity then lands a leg drop across the throat on Goliath and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gravity. Gravity then stands Goliath up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat before Gravity then lands another leg drop across the throat of Goliath. Gravity then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the second rope before he launches himself and then lands a leg drop across the throat of Goliath and goes for another pin. 1...2... Goliath rolls a shoulder out.

Sammy Jo Johnson - It's a relentless attack from Gravity here, but he cannot get the three count.

Steve Blake - That's the part that proves how tough Goliath really is.

Gravity stands Goliath up, whips him off the ropes and then Goliath ducks a clothesline and gives Gravity a reverse neck breaker to the mat. Goliath then stands Gravity up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Goliath then stands Gravity up again, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges into raised knees to the chest from Gravity. Gravity then pulls the feet out from under Goliath and sets for a figure four. He turns it around and Goliath kicks him in the back, sending him through the ropes and out to the floor.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Goliath is proving his worth here, not bad for a guy who took a decade off from active wrestling.

Steve Blake - He was a CWA champ and that means something, no matter how long that reign lasts.

Gravity gets to his feet on the floor and takes a chair shot to the face from Samson! The referee sees this and calls for the bell, disqualifying Goliath. The fans boo the decision as Goliath leaves the ring and races off after his son through the crowd.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I didn't see that coming.

Steve Blake - Samson gets bragging rights now that he is in the tournament and his father isn't.

While Goliath and Samson disappear from view, we head backstage and see Joe Davidson with Felicity.

Joe Davidson - Felicity, the last time we saw you was in your brief time managing Anthony Hicks. What are you up to now?

Felicity - Joe, Anthony was a big mistake in every possible way. I see that now. I have decided that it is my time to manage a champion. There will be a battle royal next week to decide who gets to be the new Inter-Continental champion in the CWA and I will manage the winner.

Joe Davidson - That's an odd stipulation for a match.

Felicity - I am only going to manage a winner, Joe. I am tired of managing losers.

The camera pans to the right and zooms in one a pair of eyes peering around the corner. The full face comes into view and we see that the beady eyes belonged to Zack McCracken.

Zack McCracken - Looks like I need to win a title next week.

We head back to the ring.

Chameleon vs. Black Panther

"Into the Void" by Nine Inch Nails plays as Chameleon comes out to a decent pop from the crowd. He waves to his fans and winks for the camera before he starts making his way down the ramp. He is almost to the bottom of the ramp when Black Panther attacks him from behind, giving him a double axe handle to the back that he follows up with a side Russian leg sweep onto the steel of the ramp. Black Panther then stands Chameleon up and slams his head into the guard railing before he slams it into the ring apron and then he rolls Chameleon into the ring where referee Jon Shocker is telling Panther he is on the verge of being disqualified. The bell then sounds when Panther rolls himself into the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Panther is wasting no time in this one against Chameleon.

Steve Blake - We have seen Scavenger and Gravity qualify tonight. Panther knows this tournament will be difficult to win, so he wants to get in there as quickly as possible and not risk injury at the hand of the crafty Chameleon.

Panther stands Chameleon up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick back to the mat. Panther then gets to his feet, picks Chameleon up and gives him a power slam to the mat. He then goes for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Chameleon. Panther stands Chameleon up, whips him into the corner buckle and then misses with a shoulder block when Chameleon side steps it. Chameleon then gives Black Panther a series of rights and lefts to the chin before he then gives him a face buster to the mat. Chameleon then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Black Panther.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Close calls either way early here.

Steve Blake - Yeah, this is a good one that either man could win.

Chameleon stands Black Panther up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Chameleon then gives him an elbow across the throat and then stands him up and whips him into the corner before then giving him a bulldog to the mat from there. Chameleon rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Black Panther. Chameleon stands Panther up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Panther ducks it before he then gives Chameleon a thumb to the eye. Panther then rakes the eyes of Chameleon along the top rope.

Sammy Jo Johnson - All important momentum swings into Panther's favor now.

Steve Blake - Panther has come close to winning the tournament more than once. He really believes this could be his year if he qualifies.

Panther whips Chameleon off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Panther then goes to the ropes and quickly makes his way to the top. He goes for a moonsault from there only to takes knees to the chest from Chameleon who then rolls Panther into a small package. 1...2...3! Chameleon moves on into the tournament!

Sammy Jo Johnson - Great move there by Chameleon, very impressive showing overall.

Steve Blake - I like the way he works in a match. He just takes his chance and usually comes out on top. His name refers to the fact he only plays for a certain side when it works best for him. He is one to be watched in January.

As Chameleon leaves the ring, we look backstage where Stan Smith is entering the building. He is headed off by Blair Drake.

Blair Drake - Stan, I heard about what you did to Myst last week. *smiles*

Stan Smith - She never saw it coming. I swear that my sister won't be her lackey anymore.

Blair Drake - It doesn't hurt your effort to get a match with Shannon either, does it?

Stan Smith - Hey, a man's gotta eat. If that means getting a match against the owner at Battle of the Warriors, so be it.

Blair Drake - So the fact that I had a match with him already set for next month means nothing?

Stan Smith - Blair, I have to look out for myself.

Blair Drake - Now word has it we are looking at a triple threat cage match which will be you and me and Shannon fighting for bragging rights.

Stan Smith - *smiles* That's great. Myst is in the hospital and I am in one of the main events. It doesn't get much better than that.

Blair Drake - And we could work together to take Shannon out.

Stan Smith - I am open to that idea.

Blair Drake - *frowns* That's where I need to inject a little reality. See, Shannon and I were going to decide which of the two of us is truly the dominant one. You stuck your nose into it and now you're in MY match. I don't accept people being in MY matches.

Stan Smith - Look, I have no beef with you.

Blair Drake - You're in my match. That means I have a beef with YOU.

Blair then gives Stan a clothesline to the floor and then grabs a nearby trash can and starts slamming it over the head of Stan Smith. Security arrives within moments to break this up and they pull Blair off a now bloodied Stan Smith. We then head back to the ring.

Arizona vs. Leonard Masters

"Pain" by Three Days Grace plays as Leonard Masters comes out onto the stage and the crowd gives him a decent ovation. He then starts down the ramp towards the ring, his tights embroidered with his nickname "Ice pick" on the back. Masters then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He then tests the ropes while his music fades and we hear "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath and Arizona steps out onto the stage which draws the boos of the crowd. He doesn't pay any attention to them as he makes his way down the ramp. He stops at ringside and has a few words with Masters from ringside. Masters motions him into the ring with a smile on his face. Arizona steps up onto the apron and then steps over the top rope into the ring. The bell sounds to get this match started.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Arizona has been very vocal over the past few weeks. He has stated that Noah Skanes defending the title against Mark Simms at Battle of the Warriors is an insult to the title.

Steve Blake - I hate to agree with the guy, but he has a point. Simms hasn't been an active wrestler in this company for some time and Arizona has been rarely defeated.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Noah claims he is done with Arizona since they battled throughout the summer and Noah didn't lose the title to him.

Steve Blake - Arizona has stated he will not allow the match with Simms to happen.

Arizona locks up with Masters. Arizona then backs Masters into the ropes. The referee asks for a clean break. Arizona backs off a step and then gives Masters a kick to the gut and follows that up with a snap suplex to the mat. Arizona then stands Masters up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Arizona then grabs Masters around the throat and signals that he is ready to end this. He stands Masters up, setting for the choke slam, but Masters gives Arizona a series of elbows to the side of the head. Masters then shoves Arizona into the corner buckle and gives him a series of shoulder blocks to the gut. Masters then gives Arizona a snap mare to the mat, Masters then places Arizona in a full Nelson and the crowd cheers.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Arizona may have been looking past Masters and towards the tournament tonight.

Steve Blake - He may be buying into his own hype. I agree there.

Arizona refuses to submit to Masters hold and raises his hands further, then drops his weight to free himself from the hold. Arizona then rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. Masters drops and rolls out after him. Masters follows Arizona on the floor and then grabs his shoulder and turns him around only to take a knee to the gut from Arizona who then gives Masters a bulldog to the floor.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Masters might regret going out to the floor here.

Steve Blake - Might?

Arizona stands Masters up and whips him head first into the steel corner post and then rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. Arizona then grabs Masters around the throat, stands him up, picks him up and gives him a choke slam to the mat. Arizona then comes off the ropes and splashes the fallen Masters and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Arizona wins!

Sammy Jo Johnson - The Zona Splash gets him the win and he moves on into the tournament.

Steve Blake - I am impressed with Arizona tonight, but that is nothing new. This guy is impressive every night.

As the victorious Arizona makes his way towards the back, we look to the locker room where Corina is seen with Shawna Miller.

Shawna Miller - Corina, Cordelia has been after you for some time now. Why is that?

Corina - *sighs* You know why? This is because she is a cold-hearted bitch who just can't let anything go. This has been going on for nearly a year now and I am sick of it. I'll accept her challenge for next week. I have no problem with that at all.

Shawna Miller - If you could enlighten us, though on why she wants to destroy you so badly...

Corina - It's ancient history. Cordelia's just completely out of her mind.

Shawna Miller - Doesn't that make you hesitant to accept this match?

Corina - No, I'm not scared of her. I'll finally be rid of her.

Corina leaves the room and we head back to the ring.

Caleb Knox vs. Syckle

"Moskau" by Rammstein plays as Syckle comes out to the cheers of the crowd, the new Russian star unbeaten since his arrival three months ago. He poses on stage for the cheering crowd and nods his head to the music as he makes his way down the ramp. He high fives fans at ringside and then he rolls himself into the ring. He quickly gets to his feet and has a few words with referee Fred Davidson while his music fades and then we hear "Who Made Who" by AC/DC and Caleb Knox comes out to loud boos from the crowd, Gravity at his side as they hold the CWA tag team titles high for everyone to see.

Sammy Jo Johnson - There is an interesting story behind those titles for some who may not know. Dan Jalldoff and Mike Bardell had held the titles, but Bardell suffered a career ending knee injury and Dan defended the titles alone. At the time, Caleb Knox had been his friend and helped him keep those titles on more than one occasion. Soon, however, Caleb wanted the titles for himself and he challenged Dan to a one on one match for the titles. It all went well until Caleb's tag team partner here showed up and crushed Dan who had been badly worn down at that point. Now these two have the titles.

Steve Blake - Dan's demanded a rematch with a partner of his choosing. Caleb said that was fine as long as his partner wasn't going to be Noah Skanes. Dan agreed and we still don't know who his partner will be for that Battle of the Warriors tag title match.

Sammy Jo Johnson - It should be very interesting to see how that match plays out.

Caleb pulls himself onto the apron and has a few words with Syckle. Caleb then hands his tag title belt to Gravity and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The two men circle each other as the bell sounds to get the match underway. Syckle greets Caleb with a series of rights and lefts to the jaw and then picks him up and gives him a gorilla press slam to the mat. Syckle then puts the boots to Caleb on the mat and then gives him a knee to the forehead before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Caleb.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Syckle has been undefeated since the Russian phenomenon hit the ring in September.

Steve Blake - Oh he is a great challenge for Caleb.  I have wanted to see this one.

Syckle stands Caleb up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a big boot to the chest that sends him back to the mat. Syckle then stands in the corner, poised to deliver a spear once Caleb is on his feet. Caleb stands, sees Syckle coming and steps out of the way while grabbing the big Russian and whipping him shoulder first into the corner. Caleb then gives Syckle a German suplex to the mat, stands him up and gives him another before trying to hold his shoulders down to the mat. 1...2... kick out by Syckle. Caleb then stands Syckle up, whips him off the ropes and tries for a shoulder block only to take one from Syckle that sends him down to the mat. Syckle then gives Caleb a series of kicks to the gut before standing him up and whipping him through the ropes and right onto his tag team partner. Syckle looks skyward and screams while the fans cheer him on.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Caleb might want to rethink his plan for this one.

Steve Blake - Caleb is a smart wrestler. He always has been and that's why he is a three time CWA champion.

Caleb pulls himself to his feet while Gravity jumps onto the apron and has a few words with Syckle himself. Caleb then rolls himself into the ring and quickly gets to his feet. He moves in for a lock up with Syckle, but then gives him a knee to the gut and follows that up with a headlock and DDT to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Syckle. Caleb then stands Syckle up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges in for a shoulder block only to find no one home as Syckle side steps it and Caleb's shoulder strikes the corner buckle instead. Syckle then gives Caleb a pump handle slam to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2.... Caleb gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Caleb was only saved there by being close to the ropes.

Steve Blake - Oh he is barely holding on here.

Gravity jumps onto the apron and starts shouting at Syckle. He then has a few words for the referee who shouts back at Gravity. Syckle goes to Gravity and grabs him around the throat. Caleb is then seen reaching into his tights and putting brass knuckles onto his right hand. He then gets to his feet, turns Syckle around and gives him a shot to the throat with the knuckles and then gives him a Rock Bottom to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Caleb wins the match to move on to the tournament and end the winning streak Syckle had been enjoying.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The tag team champs use that same level of sportsmanship to get this win tonight.

Steve Blake - Gravity came out with Caleb because they knew deep down that Caleb could not stop Syckle. Together, they brought him down. Like them or not, that's what makes them champs.

As the tag team champions celebrate the fact they both have qualified for the tournament tonight, we look backstage where Mark Simms is seen with Noah Skanes, the two of them talking in the locker room when Arizona steos into the picture.

Arizona - Isn't this cozy?

Noah Skanes - What do you want?

Arizona - You know what I want. I want the title shot at Battle of the Warriors.

Noah Skanes - That's not going to happen. Mark gets the title shot. He was the biggest test I had as a rookie in this business and our hardcore rules topped everyone's lists at the end of the year for the best matches. I have already beaten you.

Arizona - I am an active wrestler. Mark here is not.

Mark Simms - Why do I feel like a kid between squabbling parents? You're both talking like I'm not here. Tell you what, Zona. Next week, you face me and the winner gets the shot at Noah next month.

Arizona - *smiles* That's all I ask for. See you soon, champ.

He leaves laughing while Noah turns to Mark.

Noah Skanes - I gave you the title shot.

Mark Simms - *nods* Now I get to prove that I deserve it.

We then head back to the ring.

Dan Jalldoff vs. Simon Houston

"California Love" by Tupac plays as Simon Houston steps out onto the stage to the boos of the crowd. He is seen counting money as he makes his way down the ramp. He has a wide grin on his face and he shakes his head when he reaches ringside. He places the money inside his right boot and then makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron. Houston then steps through the ropes into the ring and nods his head to the music.

Sammy Jo Johnson - What's with the was of cash?

Steve Blake - I don't like the looks of this.

Houston's music fades and we hear "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol and we see Dan Jalldoff step out onto the stage to the cheers of the crowd. He stands on stage for a few moments and then makes his way down the ramp on a dead run. He slides into the ring and jumps to his feet, then climbs to the second rope in the corner and poses for the fans. He then jumps down and referee Milt Jackson calls for the bell to get the action started tonight. Simon Houston actually backs into the corner and signals for timeout before we then see Caleb Knox on the big screen.

Caleb Knox - Kid, look up here for a second! Danny boy, check this out. See, we screwed you out of your tag title belts in November and I am sick about it. I haven't been sleeping well and I wondered how I could make it up to you. I decided the best way to make it up to you and all of these lovely fans was to pay Simon Houston here a lot of money to allow you into the tournament. It really is the least I can do. Of course, Simon had a rule to make this happen as well.

Gravity slips into the ring behind Dan Jalldoff and chop blocks him down. Simon Houston then starts putting the boots to Dan as the referee calls for the bell to disqualify Houston. Gravity then picks Dan up into a bear hug and Houston climbs the ropes in the nearest corner and then gives Jalldoff a clothesline to the mat from there where both wrestlers start putting the boots to him.

Caleb Knox - See, there is a price to be paid, Danny boy. There is always a price to pay when people try to take what I have got. Where's your partner now?

Caleb's face then disappears from the screen and the big screen displays only snow. It then goes black for a moment before returning to showing action inside the ring.

Sammy Jo Johnson - We appear to have lost Caleb's feed here.

Steve Blake - It doesn't matter. Gravity and Simon Houston are trying to end Dan's career tonight.

Gravity rolls himself out of the ring and grabs a chair. He then smiles before he rolls himself back into the ring. Simon stands the apparently out cold and bleeding Dan Jalldoff up and they prepare to slam the chair over his head. Goliath and Lorenzo Cortez then hit the ring and a shocked Simon drops Dan and he takes the chair shot from Gravity. Gravity is then double clotheslined over the top rope by Goliath and Lorenzo while the crowd explodes with cheers. Goliath then spits on Gravity from the ring and Lorenzo checks on the fallen Dan Jalldoff.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Is Goliath the tag partner? Could it be Lorenzo, a blast from the past, set to help this kid out against tough odds?

Steve Blake - All I know is Dan is lucky. That chair shot could have ended his career. Simon Houston hasn't moved since he took it.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I hope that money covers any rehabilitation he needs.

While Lorenzo and Goliath help Dan out of the ring, medics rushing down to check on him, we look backstage once again. Shannon Skanes is walking through the hallway where he comes face to face with Blair Drake.

Shannon Skanes - What do you want?

Blair Drake - I want Stan out of our match. It's you and me to decide the dominant wrestler in the CWA.

Shannon Skanes - Stan attacked my wife. Stan stays in the match.

Blair Drake - Shannon, I always thought you were smarter than this. You're giving Stan what he wants.

Shannon Skanes - No, I am giving me what I want. My Christmas present to me is the opportunity to shut you up and shut him down.

Blair Drake - Ten years ago we had a monster match.

Shannon Skanes - I remember, You broke my neck.

Blair Drake - I don't know why you're mad at me for you being fragile.

Shannon Skanes - You're a sloppy wrestler.

Blair Drake - My resume shows I am a great wrestler.

Shannon Skanes - Resumes lie.

Blair Drake - So does your wife.

Shannon decks Blair with a solid right to the jaw. He then walks off while a pained Blair uses the wall to steady himself in getting to his feet.

Scavenger - *as he walks by* Talking when you should be listening again, eh Blair?

We head back to the ring.

Carl Simms vs. Brandon Caldwell

"Cold" by Static X begins to play as Carl Simms steps out onto the stage and he hears the cheers of the crowd. Carl winks at the camera before he starts to make his way down the ramp. Carl stops at ringside and signs an autograph for one of the kids in the front row and then he makes his way up the ring steps before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Carl then stands in the corner buckle and looks towards the stage as his music fades and then we hear "Greedy Fly" by Bush and Brandon Caldwell comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd He then runs down the ramp and slides into the ring before jumping to his feet.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Ricky Simms and Steve Caldwell feuded for years and now their sons pick that up.

Steve Blake - Well, Brandon didn't endear himself to fans by ruining Ricky Simms appreciation night.

Sammy Jo Johnson - That was a month ago, Brandon declaring Ricky was a Caldwell wanna be while throwing water at the CWA legend.

The bell sounds and the two men lock up. Brandon breaks the lock up with a knee to the gut on Carl Simms and then backs him into the corner with a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Brandon Caldwell then gives Carl a snap mare to the mat and then applies a sleeper hold. Referee Jay Lawrence checks for a submission from Simms. Carl keeps one arm raised and the crowd starts a chant for Simms. Simms then starts getting to his feet, though not quickly as the effects of the sleeper hold start to show. Carl then backs into the corner, slamming Caldwell into the corner. Simms then does this again, which breaks the hold. Simms then turns and gives Caldwell a series of rights and lefts while the crowd cheers him on.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The crowd is really behind Carl as he tries to defeat Brandon Caldwell.

Steve Blake - It's just like old times, a Simms trying to defeat a Caldwell.

Carl Simms picks Brandon Caldwell up and gives him a slam to the mat, then stands him up and whips him into the corner buckle before giving him a knee to the gut and then he gives him a double under hook suplex into a back breaker. Carl Simms then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Caldwell. Simms stands Caldwell up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline back down to the mat. Carl then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He then goes for a five star frog splash only to find no one home as Caldwell rolls out of the way.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The high risk move costs Simms here.

Steve Blake - That's why they are called high risk. Your body pays the price on the occasions when the move fails to connect, and that was one of those times.

Brandon Caldwell uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. He then turns and gives Simms a series of kicks to the ribs, then stands him up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. The crowd starts another chant for Carl Simms as Caldwell then rolls himself out to the floor. Brandon puts the boots to Simms, then stands him up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Brandon Caldwell then stands Simms up and again whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. He then rolls Carl into the ring before rolling himself in and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Carl Simms.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Brandon thought he had Carl there.

Steve Blake - But he didn't. Anyone named Simms is double tough.

Brandon Caldwell stands Carl Simms up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Brandon then goes to the corner and climbs the ropes. He waits for Carl to stand and then he leaps off for a flying body press. When they hit the mat, Carl uses the momentum to turn it over and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Carl Simms wins this one from out of nowhere! He then rolls himself out to the floor while Caldwell accuses the referee of a fast count.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Like father, like son. Ricky Simms was never a dominating wrestler either, just good at getting the win any way he could. That's why Carl here has been CWA champ more than once.

Steve Blake - And don't think he doesn't have his sights set on being champ again. If he can win the tournament, that makes this his big chance.

As Carl Simms leaves the ring and heads up the ramp and Brandon continues his argument with the referee, we look backstage where Syckle is pacing in the locker room when Scavenger enters the screen.

Scavenger - What's up?

Syckle - I come to America and I win a lot of matches. Tonight Gravity and Caleb work together and stop me. They don't play by the rules. Tonight two Americans cheat me.

Scavenger - You know what? That sucks, dude. You seem like such a grounded guy, too.

Syckle - I want match next week, but they tell me I need tag partner.

Scavenger - Well, normally I would ignore this and go home to my wife. The baby will be born on the 18th when they induce her. Thing is, it is Christmas and I am in the spirit of giving.

Syckle - What do you mean?

Scavenger - Syckle, next week I'll bring Tough Eagle as my partner and the three of us will face Caleb Knox, Gravity and Deep Freeze since his crazy ass still thinks he can beat me.

Syckle - I need revenge. I should be in tournament.

Scavenger - *nods* Let's get you some vodka.

Syckle - *smiles* You speak Russian. You just say my favorite word.

The two exit the locker room and we head to the ring for the main event.

Bruce Miller vs. Sam Grogan

"Hate Me" by Blue October plays as Sam Grogan comes out to a crowd that clearly does hate him. He smiles as he stands on stage and then he tells the camera that he is about to destroy a legend's hopes and dreams. Grogan then starts down the ramp, strutting his way towards the ring while the fans starts a "Grogan sucks" chant. He stops at ringside and looks around at everyone and then he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring where he then has a few words with referee Milt Jackson while his music fades and then we hear "The Memory Remains" by Metallica and Bruce Miller comes out onto the stage to the loudest cheers of the night.

Sammy Jo Johnson - The crowd loves Miller and we have tonight's main event.

Steve Blake - Bruce Miller was a secondary wrestler for years, but when Shannon Skanes retired for a one year period, he became the go to guy in the fans' eyes and he never disappointed them.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Bruce calls himself the best wrestler without a gimmick who has ever laced a pair of wrestling boots and few would argue that claim.

Bruce makes his way down the ramp and then slides into the ring where Grogan greets him with a knee to the back and then he applies a quick camel clutch while the referee calls for the bell to make this match official. Sam screams at Bruce to submit, but the former CWA champ instead gets to his hands and knees and then quickly gets to his feet with Sam on his back before he then backs Sam into the corner twice, breaking the hold. Bruce then turns and gives Sam a head butt and then gives him a knee to the gut before giving him a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Bruce follows this up by standing Sam up, whipping him into the corner buckle and then gives him a clothesline as he staggers out of it. Bruce then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sam Grogan.

Sammy Jo Johnson - It looks like Bruce wants to end this fast.

Steve Blake - Hey, the kid made some pretty stupid remarks and he has earned this beating.

Bruce stands Sam up, whips him off the ropes and Sam ducks a clothesline and then he gives Bruce a knee to the back followed by a inverted DDT to the mat. Sam then lands a series of punches to the face on the downed Miller. Sam then stands Bruce up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Grogan nods his head and tells the camera that this is when it all happens. Grogan stands Bruce up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Sam then goes to the ropes, makes his way to the top and then launches himself, landing a leg drop across the throat on Bruce before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bruce Miller.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Grogan is showing he can really dish out the punishment on Miller tonight.

Steve Blake - Oh, there is no doubt this kid has talent, but putting Miller away will require a large effort on his behalf since few have ever stopped this guy, especially when BOTW is on the line.

Sam stands Bruce up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Bruce then grabs the legs of Sam and gives him a backslide to the mat into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Sam Grogan. Sam then stands Bruce up and whips him toward the corner buckle, but Bruce reverses it and Sam hits the corner. Bruce then gives Sam an inverted atomic drop followed by a belly to belly suplex to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sam Grogan as the fans groan, certain that should be it.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I thought that was going to finish it, same as the fans did.

Steve Blake - Miller needs to put this kid away.

Bruce stands Sam up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Sam then rolls himself under the ring and another Sam rolls himself out from under a different part of the ring. He gets to his feet slowly and sells the injuries to Sam. He then pulls himself into the ring where Bruce goes for a clothesline, but the second Sam ducks it before giving Bruce a spine buster to the mat. Sam Two then picks Miller up and power slams him to the mat before going for the pin with a hook of the tights. 1...2...3! Sam Grogan wins!

Sammy Jo Johnson - There are two Sam Grogans?

Steve Blake - It looks like there are.

Sammy Jo Johnson - I didn't see that one coming. Well fans, that's it for tonight. We'll see you next week for our Christmas edition of Warriors. Tune in and see that on the 23rd as Insurgence won't be on that weekend.

Steve Blake - Did you see their card? I don't think they're on this weekend.

Sammy Jo Johnson - Hey, that's a low blow. See you next week fans!
