We see multiple superstars backstage, all of whom are getting ready for tomorrow's Pay-Per-View: Advent. At the moment, there is a pre-show to Advent being held in the arena. A few matches are taking place between hopefuls, looking to make a name for themselves. ]] [[ We're ringside now, the arena isn't full to capacity but, there are still a few thousand inside. A match just finishes, which gets a warm reception from the crowd. The two men walk off and, before anyone can even move.. ]] # SIMPLY PRICELESS # [[ The music of Ted DiBiase Jr blares out into the arena, the crowd start to boo straight away before he has even appeared. Ted walks out with a smirk on his face, with microphone in his hand. He continues to walk down the ramp, wearing a T-Shirt and jeans. He taunts a few fans on the front rows, who respond in trying to throw food at him. ]] [[ He climbs the steps and enters the ring, stopping in the middle with that smirk still across his face, The fans continue to boo but, it doesn't bother Ted. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " You know.. " [[ The boo's go even louder, making him stop till they cool down a little. He waits for a moment, then continues. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " You know, I don't think you people appreciate just who I am. I'm a second generation, first class superstar. My father was one of the greatest men to ever wrestle and, I'll be even better. " [[ He pauses. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " I know you were all expecting to see Cody Rhodes beside me but, he won't be joining me. Cody decided to tuck his tail between his legs and, leave this company before he'd even started. Well, I can't say that I'm disappointed. He was always beneath me, everyone in the back are beneath me. You want to talk about greatness, about men destined to go to the top? Look no further than right here. " [[ He smirks. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " Some of you might say that now, Chris Jericho has an easier ride. That now, he only has to face one man. It's got to be easier than facing one, right? " [[ Y2J chants begin to start. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " Wrong. " [[ Slight boo's. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " Now, Chris Jericho has to deal with only me. There won't be any resting while Cody tries to beat you, Chris.. It's now all down to me. This is the worst thing that could've happened to you, my friend.. There will be no way out, Chris. It doesn't matter what you try to do to me, whatever you try.. I've seen it all before and, I will overcome it. You want to be a saviour? You're not even capable of saving yourself! " [[ He seems confident. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " I suggest you take a long, hard look in the mirror.. Ask yourself, Chris.. Ask yourself if you can seriously compete with me, we both know the answer to that one. Everything you've ever accomplished, will be for nothing tomorrow night. I'll make you look like a rookie, I'll teach you a lesson that you'll never forget. " [[ He waits a moment, as if forcing the words to swirl round in the head of Jericho. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " You can come out and, say what you want.. Do the same as everyone else, claim I'm riding my Father's coattails.. Everyone knows that isn't true, Chris.. Everyone here has seen what I'm capable of inside the ring, it's not like I can't handle myself. It may be true that in World Wrestling Entertainment, you were held as a headliner.. A man who could sell out arenas, that was you, right? Well, it's all changing Chris.. I'll be the headliner, the marquee wrestler.. My name will be up in lights, on posters.. They'll flock from all over just to catch a glimpse of me, it's all coming quicker than anyone could predict. " [[ Bold statement. ]] [[ He starts to pace around the ring, working himself up. ]] Ted DiBiase Jr: " This is where I begin, against Chris Jericho.. I'll take anyone who wants to step into the ring with me. My Father taught me many great things, he taught me how to be a winner. All through his career, he done nothing but, good things for the world of wrestling. He helped build wrestling into what it is today, I'm going to continue that.
