There has been many huge matches through the history of
the Global Wrestling Federation, that much is true. The company has seen a whole
host of world class matches, all with memorable moments. It doesn't matter what
kind of stipulation you have in these matches, what it all comes down to is who
is in that ring performing. In terms of scale, this is off the charts for
Thunder. Randy Orton, will face off against John Cena. Both of these men are
huge in the world of wrestling, and people would be lying if they said
they didn't want to see these two square off against each other. There has
been a lot of talk about who will win this one, both men are as confident as
each other. There is no doubt about it, either could walk away with
the victory. Randy Orton has made his intentions clears early, he wants
everyone to know that he is going to dominate the Global Wrestling
Federation. There were many matches that he probably could have taken, this
was the one that made the most sense. If Randy can pin John Cena,
then people would have to take notice. You won't hear him giving Cena that
much credit, but he knows, what beating John Cena means. Cena will have the fans
on his side like he always does, Orton will be hoping to keep them quiet.
John Cena feeds off the crowd, if they are hot, he's hot. Everyone is talking
about this match, many stunned that it isn't going to be the main event.
When you see the other matches on the card, there aren't any better. This
is the one that have all been waiting for, Randy Orton going up
against John Cena. Who will walk out victorious? Tune into THUNDER tonight, to
find out the answer to that question.

Foreword
Our scene opens up inside the locker
room backstage, we can see Randy Orton standing in front of the camera. There is
no sign of his Father, Bob Orton, he stands alone right now. He is
staring directly at the floor right now, he seems to be thinking about
something. Who knows? Suddenly, he lifts his head. A strange look in his
eye.
Randy Orton: So, this is it?
Orton eyeballs the camera, not blinking
once.
Randy Orton: What
you people want, am I right? You wanted this, you wanted to see your hero, John
Cena, in action. Well, tonight... You get that. You get to watch John Cena run
down to the ring, slapping hands, acting like an idiot. You can cheer his name
all you want, you can pray to the highest of heavens for him to win this
match. What you all want, isn't going to be possible. You see, tonight, I'm the
man standing in his way. There's going to be no superhero comeback, no cena hulk
up, I'm going to destroy John Cena like no one has, and never will.
There is a deadly serious tone to the voice of Randy Orton, he
seems fully focused on the task at hand tonight.
Randy Orton: I don't step into the ring
to just compete, my sole aim when I step in the ring, is to win. Nothing
else. I don't look for applause, I don't look for a pat on the back.
This is what I do best, I step up to the plate time after time. I prove people
wrong time, and time again. I know what you think might happen tonight, John.
There is no doubt in my mind, that you think you can beat me. I'm sure people
have told you this is possible, that you can defeat Randy Orton. I find
it funny, really, I do. Look at me, I'm a third generation superstar,
Cena. I'm the greatest wrestler to ever grace this company, and you think
you can beat me? Not a chance in hell. This is what greatness looks
like, Cena. Never will you be able to compete with someone like me, no
matter how hard you may try. It's my destiny to be crowned World
Heavyweight Champion, John. You're just a stepping stone. I'm going to use you
to fast track my way to the top. How does that make you feel? Angry? Good. I
want you to feel anger, John. I want you to come into the ring, stare me in
the eyes, and I want to feel it. The anger. The hate. I know you're capable
of that, John. Show it to me.
Orton pauses for a moment,
letting his words sink in. He continues.
Randy Orton:
Nothing that you have done impresses me. Back in the
World Wrestling Entertainment, they gave you shot after shot to win that World
Heavyweight Title. Law of averages suggested, eventually, you'd have to win it.
You won't find any of that here, John. When I beat you tonight, you might aswell
back your bags, and head out the exit. You claimed that I respect nobody,
John. That may be right. Why don't you take a look at the reason
why? Respect should be earned, what have you done to earn it,
John? I see people all around me, every single day, none of them
deserve my respect. When you're better than everyone else, John, you don't need
to earn respect. People know how good I am, you recognize it yourself.
It's just sad for you, that you don't see yourself for what you really are. You
believe the hype. You believe what all those women, and children tell you. Let
me give you a few facts, John...
Orton throws up one
finger.
Randy Orton: ONE! You're not a superhero.
He throws a second
finger.
Randy Orton: TWO!
You can't wrestle.
A third finger.
Randy Orton: THREE! Sadly, everybody
can see you.
Fourth finger.
Randy
Orton: Finally, number four... You will never, and I
mean... NEVER, be better than Randy Orton.
Orton cracks a cocky
grin.
Randy Orton: The truth hurts, John. Someone had to lay it down to you like
that, that's life. I could have taken my pick from many wrestlers to face
tonight, they all couldn't wait to get their hands on Randy Orton, The
prospect of defeating me, is just too much for some people. Everybody
wants to try stop me before I've even begun, which is just fine with me.
The more people who want to put up a challenge, the better. It gives me more of
an advantage. You see, apart from Cena, I don't give a damn who I face. I wanted
this match to set the tone, put everyone on notice. When you look back at
my career, when you look at all the things I have done. You will begin to
realize what stands in front of you, Cena. I've killed more legends than I care
to think about, I've stepped in the ring with the very best the business has to
offer, and I won. When I see some of the guys around this place, it makes me
wonder. What has been happening here? You know, everyone is just lucky that
I've come along now. Do you really want to watch guys like Paul Burchill, Steven
Richards, and Mikey Whipwreck? No, nobody does. I'm needed in this place,
it's just unfortunate for me that I wasn't here sooner. I would've walked into
that Royal Rumble, and it would've been me walking out with a World Title
shot.
The confidence in his voice is ever present.
Randy Orton: I was born to be the best,
John. There just isn't another way to describe it, I'm used to getting what
I want. You can try as hard as you like, John. You can pull every trick in the
book, nothing can get past my eyes. I know everything you have planned, I know
how to beat you. I've been thinking about this for a long time now, I just
needed to wait for the right moment. The Global Wrestling Federation has been in
a slow decline, everybody around here knows it. It's the same old faces, guys
who should've given it up a long time ago. I'm here to get rid of those people,
the so called legends of the Global Wrestling Federation. I have learned a
lot of lessons in my career, from my early days back in Evolution. What
Triple H did to me, when I captured the World Title, to become the youngest
World Heavyweight Champion ever, I understand. I see now what he meant, why he
had to do that to me. In this business, you have to do things to teach people
lessons. To show them where their place is, back then, Triple H was on top.
He was the top guy in the WWE, it was his right to do what he did. Now, I
must do this for you, John. I need to show you where you have gone wrong,
it's too late to save you, I'm just going to end you for good. I'm going to make
you wish you never accepted my challenge, I'm going to make you
wish... You had never been born. I can't find the word, Cena, I really
can't. I can't find a word which would fit the beating I'm going to give
you, this has never been witnessed before.
Orton gets close to the
camera.
Randy Orton: Take
a long look into my eyes, Cena. The next time you see these, they will be
staring at you from across the ring. I'll watch as the sweat drips down your
face, look into your mind, see you wondering what to do next. Before you
know it, it's all going to be over. I don't want to hear excuses from you,
Cena. There can be no excuse. You knew exactly what you were doing when you
accepted this, you have sealed your own fate. Take a look at that clock hanging
on the wall, Cena. Listen to the fans, your fans, filling into the arena. It's
time to meet your fate, your destiny. Tonight, is the the night, where I
kill the legend of John Cena. Your legacy ends with me... RANDY
ORTON...
Orton spreads his arms.
Randy Orton:
LEGEND... KILLER!
Orton laughs as our scene
slowly fades away to black. The countdown begins.
