Our scene awakens and from the start,
we are looking directly into the
sunglasses of Jeff Jarrett. He stands
with his guitar slumped across his
shoulder, wearing one of the finest
suits that money can possibly buy.
A laugh.
He walks backwards and begins to
chuckle to himself, we don't quite know
why he is laughing. He stops eventually
and holds his hand up to the camera, as
if apologizing to us all.
Jeff Jarrett:
It just don't get old, Shad Gaspard..
Who the hell is this idiot?
He rubs is
chin, as if still trying to hold his
laughter in.
Jeff Jarrett:
I get it, you think that because you
have your little " Nation O' Domination
" thing with The Rock.. That it don't
matter about Jeff Jarrett? Let me tell
ya' now Shad, you have just made a
mistake that you will NEVER live down
kid.
He seems
composed enough now and takes a deep
breath before going on.
Jeff Jarrett:
Take a look at me, THIS is what
greatness looks like.. THIS is what you
want to be Shad, a superstar.. You want
your name up in lights, the ENTIRE world
to think of you as a great wrestler..
Listen to me, that ain't EVER gonna'
happen Shad.. You ain't got the talent,
plain and simple.. It ain't as easy as
just throwing on a suit, walking down to
the ring to show off to the fans..
That's why tonight, I am going to show
you why I am who I am.. Why I am going
to become the Number One Contender to
the United States Championship.
It seems like
Jarrett is as confident as ever about
picking up a victory up against Shad
Gaspard from what he has told us.
Jeff Jarrett:
Think about it for a second..
Jarrett smirks.
Jeff Jarrett:
It really ain't gonna' happen, I have
beaten men greater than you can
imagine.. I am at the TOP of the pile
Shad, your always gonna' be lookin' up
at me.. You can only DREAM of being up
there, you should have stuck at tag team
wrestling.. I am going to make an
example outta' ya' tonight, to show
everyone exactly WHY I will go on to
beat the hell outta' Randy Orton and
become the United States Champion..
People like to think bad o' Jeff
Jarrett, they think that I don't deserve
to be where I am at now.. The only
reason people think that is because they
are ALL like you Shad, they ALL want to
be King O' The Mountain and we all know
that I am the only one who is fit to sit
at the top.
He walks past
the camera and then past once again,
thinking about what to say next.
Jeff Jarrett:
There really ain't any point in havin'
ya' in this company Shad, what are ya'
gonna' give back to the company? Your
just gonna' gain yourself a losing
streak longer than you can imagine.
There is a
slight grin on his face.
Jeff Jarrett:
I am living PROOF that there is a god, I
am The Chosen One Shad.. I have it all
and what do you have? NOTHING! You ain't
got jack, you try to impress and all ya'
do is fail miserably.. People will NEVER
forget the name Jeff Jarrett, everywhere
I go people come up to me.. They all
want to know what I gotta' say, I say
screw 'em.. I don't need those jackasses
to tell me I'm great, I KNOW I am
great.. I call the shots, Russo doesn't
control me.. I tell HIM how it is gonna'
go down and he is powerless to stop it,
Vince Russo NEEDS Jeff Jarrett.. I don't
need him.
Jarrett takes
off his glasses and places them into his
top pocket, we see a glint of smugness
in his eye.
Jeff Jarrett:
I got a little advice for ya' Shad, it'd
be good to listen to it.. When you gotta'
face me, don't talk about what you and
The Rock are gonna' do to Evolution.. I
take that as disrespect and that is
somethin' that I cannot and WILL NOT
stand for, tonight is the end for your
career.. Let's be honest, it ain't worth
a damn anyway so ya' ain't gonna'
be losing out on anything.. If you
actually HAD a brain in that head o'
yours, then ya' wouldn't even waste my
time by showin' up tonight.. That is all
this is, everyone knows that I should be
in the main event.. I should be winning
Championships, not fighting openers like
you.
Ouch.
Jeff Jarrett:
It's time for all the talkin' to stop
Shad, TONIGHT.. I will show you exactly
WHY I am the King O' The Mountain, why I
am The Chosen One.. I am walking out o'
Nitro with my hand held high and then,
everyone will know I am so CHOKE ON IT!
Jarrett raises
his guitar in the air as our scene
