DRE JAXSON vs. JOSEPH JOHNSON
Regular Match
Winner will receive a shot at the Ironman Championship

["SOS" by Collie Buddz blasts over the PA system as Dre Jakson walks out. He flashes a big smile as he walks down the rampway to a sea of boo's. He shrugs his shoulders as he doesn’t mind as he slides underneath the bottom rope only to climb the turnbuckle and spread his arms out wide as the crowd boos him again.]

Victoria Giordano: This match is scheduled for one fall with the winner receiving a shot at the Ironman Championship… Introducing first, from Nine Mile, St. Ann, Jamaica… weighting in at 220 pounds and standing at 6’1’’… “The Jamaican Sensation” Dre Jaxson!

[The arena goes dark again and green lights start flashing at the entrance stage. “The Only” by Static X blasts on throughout the arena as the intensity of the flashing lights elevates. Joseph Johnson finally walks out onto the stage as lights of black and green flash around him. Joseph pauses on the stage and the lights stop flashing. A green neon light shines down over him, while a waterfall of pyro forms in a line across the stage directly behind him.]

Victoria Giordano: …And his opponent, from Tampa, Florida… weighting in at 231 pounds and standing at 6’3’’… Joseph Johnson!

[Johnson does his usual taunt for the crowd and green pyrotechnics then explode from the stage down the ramp and to ring. Johnson walks down the ramp to the steel steps and then climbs into the ring. Johnson goes to the far corner and poses on the second rope. He gets down and goes over to the opposite corner to pose for that side as well. He hops off the turnbuckle and walks to the middle of the ring.]

Adam LaRouche: Who do you think will win this match?

Jack Starr: Who the hell cares? Seriously… I mean this isn’t for the damn AWE title…

Adam LaRouche: Well it’s for the umber one contendership…

Jack Starr: Yeah for some title that’s cursed… come one I mean we all remember what Lamont said I hope.

[The match bell rings as both wrestlers step up to each other. They’re both well aware that this match can lead them to the title race for the AWE Championship. Joseph Johnson stretches out his hand, for a shake… and Dre just simply stares at it. He shakes his head and laughs as he slaps it away. Joseph, aggravated, puts it out again, but Dre just slaps it once more. And Johnson with a big haymaker to Dre! Dre grabs Joseph by the head as does Joseph and they hammer away at each other! Dre catches one of Joseph’s punches as he grabs him by the arm and twists it, wrenching it around… He brings an elbow to it! Another! Another… No! Joseph is able to twists his arm back as he crouches low and sweeps Dre’s legs from underneath him… a pin on Dre… 1… No! Quick kick out. Joseph, wasting no time continuing his assault grabs Dre’s leg and spins around it, looking for a figure four! Dre kicks him, but no! Joseph still locks it in!]

Jack Starr: Beautiful figure four!

Adam LaRouche: I agree Jack, that move puts a person in a whole new world of pain.

Jack Starr: Right… Well let’s see if he can keep it locked in long enough for Dre to tap out.

[Dre quickly and very smartly rolls, reversing the hold, but Johnson rolls it again! Dre rolls again! Johnson one more time as both men fall to the outside clutching their legs! The ref starts the count as Johnson is slowly get to his feet, using the corner turnbuckle post as support. Dre using the apron… 8… 7… 6… Johnson and Dre both on their feet as Dre takes off at Johnson, looking to smash him into the turnbuckle post… here comes a big splash and...! No! Johnson catches him in a belly-to-belly position; he uses all his strength to heave him backwards as Dre’s back collides with the turnbuckle post! 5… 4… 3… Johnson climbs to his feet using the apron as he rolls inside, breaking the count, than rolls back outside. Johnson grabs Dre by the head and lays a few punches to his skull to soften him up… he picks him up and whips him to the stairs… No! Dre counters and whips Johnson to the steps; Johnson’s going full speed… Wham! Right into the steel steps goes the lower abdomen of Johnson!]

Adam LaRouche: Ouch Jack that’s just got to hurt.

Jack Starr: Well it seems to me like Dre knows his surroundings very well. That makes him my favorite in this match… it takes a skilled wrestler to know his surroundings even under the most brutal conditions.

Adam LaRouche: Well lets see if Dre can hold his ground now.

[The ref, continuing his count… 6… 5… 4… and Dre walks over to Johnson, and picks him up, tossing him into the ring as Dre rolls in and goes for the cover… 1… 2… Kick out! Dre now picking Johnson up to his feet, scoops him up with a big scoop slam! Bam! Johnson lands stiffly on the canvas as Dre continues the assault with a quick leg drop and another pin… 1… 2… Kick out again by Johnson! Dre once again grabbing him, and throwing him into a side headlock, but Johnson counters with a big elbow to the abdomen of Dre! Another! Another! Johnson forces Dre to break the headlock! Johnson quickly with a spurt of speed nails Dre with a big clothesline as they both topple to the canvas. Johnson wasting no time as he picks Dre up into a powerbomb position, but Dre counters and spins, trying to throw Johnson into an armbar, but Johnson blocks the armbar attempt! Both men standing side by side, with Dre trying to throw him to the canvas with an armbar… And Johnson hooks a leg behind Dre and somehow nails an inverted Russian leg sweep as Dre’s face comes smashing into the canvas. Johnson, once again, picking Dre up to his feet, into a powerbomb position, this time he nails him with a few punches to the back. He hooks his arms just to be sure, maybe a Tigerbomb? He lifts him up… And… he… No! Dre counters with a big hurricanrana! Jaxson quickly runs to the turnbuckle and runs up it, jumping off backwards with a big moonsault! Bam! He lands it and here’s the cover… 1… 2… Kick out!]

Jack Starr: Close but no cigar on that one..

Adam LaRouche: Yup no cigar there.

Jack Starr: Nope, but it was a good maneuver though.

[Dre now lifting Johnson to his feet, he whips him into the turnbuckle and follows up with an amazing 540 kick! Johnson, very much stunned by that display of athleticism and the powerful kick to the back of his head, slowly steps forward dazed, as Dre runs to the ropes and jumps, catching him with a really fast tornado DDT! Another cover… 1… 2… Yet another kick out by Johnson! Dre quickly pulling him to his feet, he seems angry… He tosses him into the corner turnbuckle and runs straight at him with a big boot! But Johnson ducks the boot and hooks him up in a trapping suplex as Dre’s leg drapes over Johnson’s shoulder… Johnson lifts him up… but Dre punches him to stop his momentum! Johnson, still with the leg over his shoulder, quickly sweeps Dre’s remaining leg and goes for a sharpshooter! Dre struggles, but Johnson is able to pull him away from the ropes! All Johnson has to do is turn him over for the real pain to start… And Johnson, twisting….twisting… twisting… He turns him over! Dre is locked in The Pandemonium! That’s Johnson’s finishing maneuver! Dre is writhing in pain! Jaxson is trying to crawl over to the ropes but Johnson pulls back, doing even more damage. Dre’s arms are flailing, it looking like he might be getting ready to tap… and… he doesn’t! He doesn’t tap yet! Instead, Jaxson pulls himself up with every bit of strength as he forces Johnson to fall down and break the hold!]

Adam LaRouche: Jaxson breaks the hold, and it seems to me that he has more fight I him then we expected.

Jack Starr: The you expected… because I expected this guy to be just as useless as he’s proving himself to be.

Adam LaRouche: Right well we’ll see just how useless he really is because I think he’s going to take this match.

[Both men, exhausted lay on the canvas as the referee counts… 1… 2… 3… both men starting to stir… 4… 5… 6… Johnson is on his feet and Dre slowly rises to his feet as well… 7… Both men on their feet now as Johnson runs at Dre looking for a big slide tackle into his legs, but Dre jumps! He comes back down with a humongous knee to the temple of Johnson! Johnson could be knocked out and Dre goes for the pin… 1… 2… thre… No! Johnsoon somehow kicks out and stays alive! Dre picks him up… kick to the midsection, he lifts him up and… Island Breeze! He spins Johnson around and… No! Johnson slips out! He slips out in mid air! Dre confused, slowly spins around, and Johnson grabs his legs, slamming him to the canvas. He begins to apply another Pandemonium! Wait, no! Dre quickly kicks him away, to avoid being put in the sharpshooter.]

Jack Starr: Oh, close call there. I bet if that was Victor Lamont in there then Dre would have already tapped out three times and sang the national anthem twice from the pain of doing so.

Adam LaRouche: What?

Jack Starr: Nothing LaDouche, your minuscule brain can not comprehend my greatness.

[Jaxson rolls to his feet only to be met by a quick clothesline to… No! Dre ducks the clothesline as he quickly kicks Johnson in the midsection. He then hoists him up into inverted facelock, then spins under the opponent while holding the facelock, twisting him into the cutter position! It’s the Island Breeze again! But Johnson struggles trying to break free but it’s not enough as Jaxosn pulls it off. Joseph’s head smashes into the canvas as both men are winded. The official starts another count as the fans get rallied up… 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… They’re breathing heavily... 8… Dre drapes an arm over Johnson for the cover… 1… 2… thre… No! No! Johnson lifts up his left shoulder just in the nick of time as the crowd goes insane! Jaxson is slowly rolling to his feet; he stares at the downed Johnson and shakes his head as he catches his breath. He goes to the turnbuckle slowly climbing it and standing, waiting there for Johnson to get up.]

Adam LaRouche: Jaxson is stalking his prey like a cheetah.

Jack Starr: Shut up LaDouche that was stupid… how the hell would you know how a cheetah stalks its prey eh?

Adam LaRouche: Well… fine I just thought it sounded cool… don’t you think? Whatever Jack… lets just get on with this.

[Johnson slowly climbs to his feet and… Jaxson jumps off with a huge flying 540 kick that he calls the Rasta Kick! Johnson barely sees it coming but he manages to side step as he grabs Dre by the leg. Dre, unbalanced falls to his back on the canvas as Johnson grabs Jaxson’s other leg… Things look bad for Dre as he fights and fights levying a few kicks to Johnson’s face, but Joseph doesn’t let up! Instead, he steps over Dre’s body and tries to turn the hold around. No! Jaxson grabs Johnson and swiftly rolls him into small package. This could be it as the official gets down for the count… 1… 2… thre… No! Johnson kicks out and rolls grabbing Dre’s foot with him! He locks it in an ankle lock with a grapevine as Dre claws away fro the ropes! Jaxson tries his best to reach out for the ropes but they’re nowhere near, especially with the grapevine locked in. He keeps struggling to reach the ropes as his fingertip brush up against the bottom rope. But his fingertips slip and he shakes his head signifying his will. Jaxson makes another stride for the ropes but fails once more as Johnson applies more pressure and Dre finally gives in as he taps!]

Victoria Giordano: …Here is your winner by submission… Joseph Johnson!

Adam LaRouche: Jaxson just didn’t have what it takes it seems.

Jack Starr: That’s what your mom said last night.

Adam LaRouche: What did you just say?!

Jack Starr: I like your mom’s pie?

Adam LaRouche: You dirty son of a… Oh it looks like we have a stream from the back lets get to it.
