Scene: Shutting up the history book
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Library

The scene opens with Kidman sitting down on a leather chair in a sereen, sectioned off portion of a library. He's examining some sort of book. Kidman flips through the pages adjusting his glasses and taking a sip off hot coffee, he set the coffee cup back down and focuses in on the pages of the book. Kidman sighs and leans back in the leather chair setting the book down on the table next to him and placing his reading glasses next to them.

' the shooting star ' Billy Kidman: I’ve learned a lot from historical books. The one thing I came away with from each one, history always repeats itself. Last week, was the perfect example of this. I’ve lost twice in a row and now I go into Starrcade with one..just ONE notch in my win column. Japan blamed America for dropping the two atomic bombs on them, just like AJ is blaming me for our loss to Old School Entertainment. But, was it really our faults? It wasn’t Americas for sticking up for themselves after the attack on Pearl Harbor, it wasn’t their fault when they got involved into the war because their country was being threatened by Japan, Germany, and Italy. AJ, how can you blame me for something I had no control over? You see it time and time again, the opponent moves and the partner suffers the fate of him. In this case Corino moved and you suffered the fate of what should have been Corino’s head. I’ll admit I DID tap out, I did miss that Shooting Star Press.. But where were you? Where were you when Steiner was locking it in, dealing with Jack Victory? Please tell me you have a better excuse than that. Now it seems we’ll be able to settle this whole thing out, in our six pack X division title match. Two matches in one night AJ? Think you have the endurance to last both of the matches? To me, the tag team titles..I could care less about, but gold is gold in this business. Any chance you have to capture some, you have to take it because you never know just exactly when you’ll get the chance again. However, for the six pack match..AJ do you have the stamina to compete at 100% in it? Can you last the match enough to capture the title? I don’t think so..history does repeat itself AJ and you’ve lost three in a row..but for me. MY history is still yet to be written, and this Sunday I’ll begin writing the first..of many pages.

Kidman takes a sip of his coffee, stands up grabbing his glasses and putting them in his shirt pocket. He picks up the book off the table placing a bookmark where he was reading. After taking a few steps he opens the book up to a page and squints at it trying to read it, he turns back to us and looks into the camera.

' the shooting star ' Billy Kidman: We are inclined to believe those whom we do not know because they have never deceived us. AJ I believed that we would be a great tag team, but now I fear I am inclined to believe this quote, because now..you’ve shown your true colors to me. You’ve shown me that when you lose, you look to others for the blame, when really you should look at yourself and decide what you’re going to do to come out on top once again.

Kidman closes the book and walks out the main door, he looks one more time back at the camera before pushing through the glass door and heading out to the parking lot.

Scene: Not giving up
Time: 6:45 PM
Location: Backstage Room Cameras pan around a small room, we see Kidman sitting alone once again, this time no book, coffee, or glasses are around. It’s just him, him in his nature..in his mind he’s alone and in reality he is too. He leans forward in the stool he is on resting his hands on his thighs.

' the shooting star ' Billy Kidman: On Sunday, not only do I face more than two men at once..I have two matches. In each of those matches it’s like I’m going through a gauntlet. Five men to beat for the X Division Championship but before that I have to go through the tag team rumble for the Tag Team Championships. Hell, my partner not even show for this match and that would mean the odds are stacked against me even greater than they were. The irony here in this match, is that every opponent of mine is in fact a heavyweight. AJ and me are the only light heavyweights in the tag match. So does that mean we are at a disadvantage because we won’t be able to pick up guys like John Bradshaw Layfield, Brock Lesnar, or Scott Steiner as easier as the others? Yes that is exactly what it means, however that is why AJ and I will find other ways to eliminate the other tag teams. If AJ doesn’t want to go this route and use what he’s been giving and try for brute strength, then I’ll be on my own against every other man in the match. That doesn’t scare me though, what truly scares me is letting down those who love me..giving up was crossed off in my mind last week against Old School Entertainment.

Scott Steiner put me in the Steiner Recliner and I had to give up, but at Starrcade that won’t be an option..because at Starrcade this match has nothing to do with submissions and pinfalls. No no, this match is focused on the raw technique of the wrestler..it focuses on the quick thinking and will of the wrestling not to give in. A couple of years back Shawn Michaels proved this when he refused to be thrown over the top rope and pulled himself back up over the top rope. I’ve looked up to Shawn my whole life, and with all the injuries he’s sustained..he still comes back and wrestles at the end of every one. That is willpower, that is what many good wrestlers lack this era more than anything else. There are a few wrestlers out there who remain to hold this willpower, Chris Benoit is one of them. His wife is slowly turning her back on him..but he continues to wrestle..he pursues his dream and doesn’t quit. I give Benoit my respect for that, but this means nothing come Starrcade. The pain everyone endures during their careers is their own..but the emotional tears and hard fought battles we go through..is shared by each of the fans as they witness our lives unravel in front of them. Whether they get their information from a website or witness it first hand out in the ring. The night of Starrcade is my chance to prove myself, to the fans, the the staff, to the roster, and most of all.. To myself!

Kidman stands up and walks away from the camera opening the door and turning down the corridor. The camera focuses in on the empty stool that sits alone in the room..
