He's wearing a "Sex and Violence" gray t-shirt, dark jeans, sunglasses, and his knitted hat with the R logo stitched on it. Right beside him is Stacy, who's wearing her usual get up of a low-cut Rated R Superstar t-shirt and a short black skirt. ]] Edge: So this is it, huh? Total Destruction week, so far, the biggest pay-per-view lineup of all SGW pay-per-views so far..But only one match stands out in people's minds. Only one match is booked that the people want to see. They're not buying Total Destruction to watch Ken Kennedy and Chris Masters fight for a belt they'll never win...They don't care about watching Raven and Matt Hardy unify two second-rate titles..Oh no..They're only tuning in for one match and one match only..One that will go down in the history books.. [[ Edge raises his hands up and flashes his fingers out and moves them side to side, making a marquee motion. ]] Edge: "Captain Charisma" Christian against the "Rated R Superstar" Edge. The battle of the greatest tag team in Solid Gold history, the battle of brothers, best friends and legends in this business. And Christian, I have never been so ready for a match in my life. [[ Edge licks his teeth, ready to tear into Christian. ]] Edge: Total Destruction is a momnumental pay-per-view for the team of Edge and Christian. You remember the last time SGW had Total Destruction don't you, Christian? It was the night we tied the SGW record for most Tag Team title reigns at three. It was a historic night for us..And now, this Total Destruction will be another milestone in our dynasty, Christian..IT'LL BE THE GOD DAMN END OF IT! [[ Edge just stares at the camera. Stacy puts on her best confident look, but you know deep down inside she doesn't want the two to fight. ]] Edge: I've been using you ever since this era of SGW opened and you never knew it until now. Sure, when you were out, I defended your honor. I fought the odds for you. But off, I didn't care if you ever came back from your injuries. While you were out, I was not only "defending you honor," I was establishing myself as the true dominant figure in this team of ours. I was proving to the entire roster and the entire wrestling world that I WAS THE TRUE LEGEND! ME! I'M THE BEST! [[ Edge points to himself. ]] Edge: You can stake your claim back in the SGW World title hunt, but little brother, that's going to be kind of difficult to chase after when you're back in the hospital, eating your food through a DAMN STRAW! I've already bashed your face in once..I've sent you the ultimate message to let you know that I will no longer sit in the back and just be a bystander when I could be the one taking the glory, having my name go down in history..IT'S MY TIME NOW, CHRISTIAN! IT'S MY TIME! [[ Edge looks cocky, brings Stacy close to him. ]] Edge: I've sat back and supported you long enough. Your ego's gotten out of control, and now it's time for you to recognize that YOU DON'T CALL THE SHOTS! And at Total Destruction, when I'm beating you within an inch of your life..When I'm beating you worse than I did two weeks ago on Stroke...YOU'LL WISH YOU'D CHECKED THAT EGO AT THE DOOR! [[ Edge removes his sunglasses, showing a crazed look in his eye. ]] Edge: It has been said that I'll regret doing what I did to you two weeks ago..That I'd desperately want to take back hitting you with that chair, ending our friendship, ending our era of dominance together that started in this same company..But oh no, I DON'T ONE SINGLE BIT, CHRISTIAN! In fact, if you want a history less, a flashback moment if you will..I BEGGED MANAGEMENT TO BREAK US UP FOUR YEARS AGO! They wouldn't because you and me together made too much money for Solid Gold..They said there was too much money to be made with us together. So, I kept you around, I let you do all the wrestling as I sat back and drew the paycheck...And now that I've made my money, I DUMPED YOUR ASS! I'VE DROPPED THE DEAD WEIGHT ONCE AND FOR ALL! You can't intimidate the first man to leave you laying in a bloody shell of your former self. I'm the only man in this company with a chance of beating you, leaving you left bloody and battered like you've never been before..And on Sunday night, you can consider it an asbolute. I'm focusing on my own agenda now, little brother..And my agenda is ALL ABOUT ME! I'M GOING TO BE THE NEXT SGW WORLD CHAMPION! NOT YOU! YOU'RE GOING TO WRESTLE YOUR LAST MATCH IN SGW ON SUNDAY NIGHT! YOU'RE NOT LEAVING THE RING ON YOUR OWN TWO FEET! YOU'RE LEAVING TOTAL DESTRUCTION IN A GOD DAMN HEARSE! [[ The crazed look comes back, Edge breathes heavily from that long rant. ]] Edge: I've left you in the ring, bloodied and humiliated once..And Christian, on Sunday night, June 25th..I'll stand across the ring from this big legend..And I'll do war with the almighty Christian, Mr. Unbeatable, Mr. Favored...For the first and last time ever, the greatest tag team in Solid Gold history will do battle..I'm going to prove once and for all why, when given the chance, I'm the better wrestler! I'm the man who deserves the fame and the glory! I'M THE BEST WRESTLER ALIVE! NOT YOU! ME, DAMMIT, ME! [[ He pauses. ]] Edge: At Total Destruction..History will be made again in the careers of Edge and Christian. It'll be the night I beat you like you have never been beaten before..That almost five year winning streak of ours, well, for you, IT ENDS! Your career here in Solid Gold will add up to nothing!
