[Intro]

| Previously on Fusion: A scheduled Tag Team main event turned into a handicap match which featured Shane Douglas and CM Punk beating down and defeating the PWA Champion Carlito "The Cool". This week CM Punk has been booked to go head to head with Scott Steiner in the Fusion opener. Despite a broken neck Punk has been on one of his biggest winning streaks to date, can he keep that streak alive against Scott Steiner, or will Steiner find a way to stop Punk's momentum?.. |

[ Singles Match ] CM Punk vs. Scott Steiner

[Promo]| Looks Can Be Decieving |
|Date| July 15, 2006
|Time| 5:45 p.m. CT
|Scenario| Local Gym

| Our scene opens up at a local gym in Los Angelas, California. PWA Cameras are located in the gym's locker room hallway where CM Punk is shown walking in from the gym area. He walks directly in front of the camera before turning to address the viewing audience. |

| Straight Edge | CM Punk: As you can see I just came out of the gym, a place where I spend countless hours a week working my ass off to not only get in the shape that this industry demands, but to get in the shape that excels me to being the very best at what I do. Now, I may not have the most optimal looking physique anyone's ever seen, hell at first glance I look average at best, especially in the wrestling business where one's build is considered crucial to succeed. And let's face it the tattoos on my skin can be more misleading than anything. When people look at me they see things that I'm not, and look past who I am and what I truly represent. But don't let my external being dissapate you, I'm sure everyone in the Professional Wrestling Alliance is well aware of my Straight-Edge lifestyle and my personal beliefs by now, but what you're probably not aware of is how hard I worked to get to the top, how much I've bled and sweat on my crusade to get there..Truth be told, I'm not the most genetically gifted man in the Professional Alliance; every ounce of strength and muscle in this body came through much rigor and hardship.

| Punk looks down at the ground as the cameras zoom out to show his full physique. |

| Straight Edge | CM Punk: Now look at some the bigger guys in this industry, take my opponent for this coming weeks Fusion for example. People look at Scott Steiner and say 'wow, he must live at the gym', when the truth is you won't find him there as often as you'd think. People like to claim that because Scott Steiner is genetically gifted, he doesn't have to work as hard to see results.. Hell they don't call him the Genetic Freak for nothing, right? Well, it's true genetics play an important role, but they don't do the work for you. Even with good genetics, you're gonna have to go to the gym and bust your ass to see results. Fact is genetics aren't the reason that I'm average, Scott Steiner is huge, genetics aren't the reason that I have to spend 2 hours at the gym to get half the results that Scott Steiner does for half the time. And it's not just some coincidence that he can work out less than I do, and get better results, there's a very accurate reason for it, an accurate reason called drugs.

| CM Punk nods his head as he stares into the camera. |

| Straight Edge | CM Punk: That's right, I just accused Scott Steiner of doping, and any moron with two eyes and half a brain couldn't disagree with me in that assumption. 6'1", 285 pounds of solid muscle, Scott Steiner has quite the physique. And even more impressive is the strength and power to go along with it. In strength and size alone he goes unmatched, but saying he got that body and those abilities naturally would be like calling him a genius, it's far from the truth. I mean isn't it obvious that there is some type of steroid, or some type of growth supplement involved? He didn't get to be as big as he is today naturally, he did it artificially through the use of drugs. The bottom line is he's the 'poster child' for your typical steroid product. The one and only reason Scott Steiner is said to have a better physique than CM Punk is because he pops pills, and injects himself with steroids, and growth narcotics, while I stand before you as drug free as I was the day I was born.

| CM Punk rubs his hand through his hair as he smirks. |

| Straight Edge | CM Punk: Scott Steiner was born pure and natural just like me and everybody else, but he like many others chose to throw that purity away on a drug that made him bigger and stronger. Now maybe he didn't realize the negatives it would bring, maybe he still doesn't realize that it's the drugs that result in his lack of thought, his mental instability, his carelessness for the lives of anybody but himself. The truth is that Scott Steiner and myself are almost exact opposites, while he chose to throw bein' pure and natural away, I chose to stay natural and to stand up for it week in and week out. Scott Steiner is the perfect example of what drugs can do to someone without them or anyone around them even attemptin' to realize it, because it's hidden under his skin, hidden under a body that people envy, but the statement is true 'looks can be decieving'. Scott Steiner has decieved the human eye, but he can't decieve a Straight-Edge mind.

| Punk taps his finger on his head as he continues. |

| Straight Edge | CM Punk: The fact of the matter is I work ten times as hard as Scott Steiner does in the gym, and while it may not show on the outside, I can guaran-damn-tee you it'll show when I step into the ring with him this Sunday night on Fusion. The reality is that a Straight-Edge body is simply better than that which has been diminished by drugs. And this week I'm gonna prove that no matter what the strength and what the size a Straight-Edge mind and body can always overcome it! This is one pinnacle that Scott Steiner could never reach, this is a weight that he couldn't even dare to bench, this is a mind that is wiser than his, this is a body with physical ability that is naturally better than his, 'cause this is pure, this is natural, this is DRUG FREE!

| Punk holds his fists up to the camera displaying DRUG FREE on his knuckles as the scene fades. |
