Standing against the backdrop of his living room, Edge grins smugly into the camera. The shot widens showing his arm wrapped around the smouldering pouting Lita and the AWA title strewn across his left shoulder.

Edge: Oh, bravo. Bravo, Raven.

Edge sarcastically applauds with a disdain lack of sincerity.

He really thinks he’s something. However, the massive white band-aid plaster on his forehead draws away from the “cool” guy image just a bit.

Edge: So let me get this right, because I still can’t believe it to be honest with you – you won the Fight For The Right Rumble?

Edge sneers.

Edge: Heck, I know what you’re all thinking and me too, hah. I nearly got a hernia by laughing so damn much. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that we thought that you weren’t capable enough of winning… it’s just that we never really gave you any thought cause we pretty much all agreed that you sucked. I take it all back now though, Raven. I mean, you proved us wrong, you made us eat our words and hey, I’m man enough to stand up and admit it. I’ll be honest with you, you don’t suck. No, after winning the Rumble you’re stock’s just went through the roof… by your standards anyway… you see, now you’re… well, now you’re mediocre.

Lita: Mediocre?

Lita looks up at Edge a little surprised.

Edge: You think I’m short changing him? That I’m selling him short?

Lita: Pah-lease, you’re over-selling him if anything.

Edge ponders, then nods in agreement.

Edge: Okay, well maybe you’re not that good just yet Raven, but hey I mean that’s not that bad for a up-and-coming blue-chipper like yourself, hell you’ve still got your career ahead of you … wait a minute… sorry, my apologies.

Edge sniggers.

Edge: You’re even older than Shawn Michaels! And hey, that’s saying something, pal. No, I stand corrected. You see, you’re career’s reaching the end of it’s shelf-life so much so that it’s starting to decompose where as mine… mine’s just blossoming!

The lovers share a over-confident grin.

Edge: I’ll be honest about it, there’s no need to hide it. I’ll hold my hands up and I’ll admit that from the start I was a little bit worried that the Fight for the Right Rumble would produce a worthy contender for my title. I had my doubts that I’d have my work cut out for me this time… hah, then I found out you won it and I knew right there and then that I’d have nothing to worry about.

Edge smirks.

Edge: Come on, let’s face it, we both know that you’re not gonna’ beat me whenever you decide to cash in for your “right”. You didn’t do that much drugs back in the days, so you can’t use that as an excuse to try to tell me otherwise. So it wouldn’t surprise me if you decide NOT to cash in on your “right” to face me for the title. I mean I’m thinking exactly what you are; what’s the point? After all, I’m gonna’ win anyway so we could both save ourselves the time and hassle. But…

There’s always a “but”.

Edge: …you know what? I hope you do decide to cash in on that opportunity Raven. I couldn’t think of a more enjoyable evening for myself with me kicking your ass. I’d love putting the beatdown on you, Raven. You know something, I’m so confident that I’m hoping you cash in at Wrestlebrawl. No, no… I got a better idea… why don’t you cash in THIS week at Fall Out! That’s what everybody wants to see happen!

Edge looks pumped. He slowly composes himself and raises a finger.

Edge: Unfortunately though, it’s just not gonna’ happen.

Boo.

Edge: For one I don’t think you’d have the guts to cash in even when I’m not fully one-hundred percent because of my match last week at Fight for the Right because you know even then I’d still have enough left in the tank to beat you one, two, three. And two, even if you were, I’m not gonna’ be there.

Edge laughs.

Edge: Yeah, that’s right. Ed Famous has given the champ the night off…. so you can count yourself lucky, Raven!!

Yeah, right.

Edge: Only, I haven’t quite decided whether or not I’ll take him up on that offer. You see, maybe I’m not scheduled to wrestle, but who’s to say that Fall Out won’t suddenly get Rated R, huh? I mean, we quite fancy a little trip to Florida, huh babe?

Lita: I always wanted to go Disney World. You know, Randy said he was going there.

Edge: I don’t know about that Lita, I’d have to keep on my toes just in case. I mean as far as birds go, Donald Duck poses more of a threat to me than Raven does, hah!

Edge turns back looking directly into shot.

Edge: Maybe we’ll see ya’ Monday then, Raven.

He smirks.

Edge: Just maybe.
