(The crowd gives a pop as the lone 60”plasma television on the wall of the ship shows the action to those who can’t see from the ship deck.)
JACOBS: “Introducing first … they hail from the United Kingdom … at a combined weight of 461 pounds … ‘First Class’ Chandler Maxwell …. ‘Yours Truly’ Adam Benjamin … the SAVIORS … OF WRESTLING!”
(The crowd gives a decent pop for the team as they high five each other in the ring.)
GHEORGHE: “Being on a cruise ship for today’s pay per view is definitely a different experience .. with the smaller number of fans in attendance due to capacity issues, and the fact that we’re outside and without the hoopla of technology .. it is a very different environment.”
JACOBS: “Their opponents… weighing in at a combined weight of 415 pounds … Tyler Hensen .. Sherman Wentworth … BORED … OF EDUKASHUN!”
(A larger pop for the two young men. Sherman Wentworth looks over, a very strained “tough guy face” pointing right at the Inner Circle. Troy laughs.)
JACOBS: “And finally … introducing last … they weigh in at a combined weight of 505 pounds … ‘the Ego Buster’ Dan Ryan … ‘the Queen of the Ring’ Lindsay Troy … they are … THE INNER CIRCLE!”
(JEERS!)
GHEORGHE: “The object of this match is to toss all of your opponents over the top rope and into the water … and in order for a team to be eliminated, both members must be tossed over …”
(SFX: Bell rings on ship. The referee, who is sitting on a mini boat on the outside of the ring gives the go ahead.)
GHEORGHE: “This match … and BANNED in the US … is UNDERWAY!”
JIVE: “Look at this! Immediately the Inner Circle finds themselves .. encircled!”
JULIUS: “That’s a new record. It only took him about 10 seconds to make a lame joke.”
GHEORGHE: “Saviors of Wrestling and Bored of Edukashun taking this opportunity to start surrounding Troy and Ryan … and wouldn’t it be in both those teams interest to dump the Inner Circle to begin?”
JULIUS: “Well, yea, it would be in their best interest … but can they actually achieve that is a whole different ball game.”
GHEORGHE: “Chandler Maxwell and Tyler Hensen closing in on Dan Ryan, while Benjamin and Wentworth make their way towards Troy… Ryan and Troy look at each other … and THEY CHARGE AT THE FOUR! TROY WITH A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE TAKES OUT BENJAMIN AND WENTWORTH!”
JIVE: “Ryan nailed Maxwell with a clothesline, but Hensen ducked!”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan turns .. and Hensen with a dropkick sends Ryan backwards.. but he doesn’t go down! Tyler Hensen back to his feet and he flies at Ryan with a forearm… and this time takes him down!”
JULIUS: “Lindsay Troy not about to let Hensen get the upperhand for long, though.”
GHEORGHE: “Troy from behind grabs Hensen by the trunks .. and she sends him into the ropes … Hensen on the way back .. FLYING CROSSBODY…. but Troy catches him … AND POWERSLAMS HIM TO THE MAT!”
JIVE: “And just like that the Inner Circle dismantled the threat.”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan getting back to his feet … and he tells Troy to focus on Adam Benjamin and Sherman Wentworth.. Ryan grabs Tyler Hensen … and stats pounding away on his face.”
JULIUS: “Pissing off Dan Ryan when there’s no place to run is not exactly the brightest idea..”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan yanks Hensen off the mat .. and he brings him over to the ropes! Ryan is trying to dump him over!”
JIVE: “Troy has Benjamin and Wentworth on their feet .. and she clonks their heads together.”
GHEORGHE: “Troy grabs Wentworth as he tries to walk away … BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!”
JULIUS: “And that causes the ring to flutter on the water … and Dan Ryan almost went over with Hensen!”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan braces himself on the turnbuckle pad as he calls out to Troy… Lindsay glances over … and Benjamin sees the wide open shot! Benjamin with a closed fist to the gut! Troy caught off guard as Adam Benjamin grabs her head … AND DDTs her to the mat!”
JIVE: “Benjamin’s going over to Ryan .. and he’s grabbed ‘the Ego Busters’ leg.”
GHEORGHE: “Benjamin with a grip on the leg of Dan Ryan as he tries to use the ebb and flow of the current to aid in dumping him over… but Dan Ryan with a hard shot to the back… and another!! Benjamin releases the grip on Ryan’s leg … AND DAN RYAN JUST KICKED BENJAMIN RIGHT IN THE SKULL!”
JULIUS: “Tyler Hensen just slid to the mat and rolled to the center of the ring… smart move considering he’s brain dead.”
GHEORGHE: “Benjamin on the mat .. Dan Ryan drops the knee right in the sternum! Meanwhile Lindsay Troy is getting back to her feet .. but Hensen and Wentworth grab her! They hook her head … and take the former EPW World Heavyweight champion up and over with a double suplex!”
JIVE: “How can Wentworth consider himself a former fan of the Inner Circle when he’s doing that?”
JULIUS: “Hence, former, Jive…”
JIVE: “Oh you know he still has the hots for Troy.”
GHEORGHE: “Bored of Edukashun now grabbing Chandler Maxwell … Hensen drops back as Wentworth drops to the mat … Maxwell hops over Wentworth … BUT HENSEN CATCHES HIM WITH THE HURRICANRANA!”
JULIUS: “The idiot is trying to pin Maxwell…”
JIVE: “There’s no pinfalls in this match..”
GHEORGHE: “Meanwhile Dan Ryan grabs Adam Benjamin back to his feet … and he places the head between the legs… Ryan grabs the arms … and nails a double underhook piledriver!”
JULIUS: “Incoming!”
GHEORGHE: “AND TYLER HENSEN WITH THE BASEBALL SLIDE CATCHES RYAN AS HE’s ON THE MAT!”
JIVE: “Hensen has it out for Dan Ryan .. and he saw that Ryan was on the mat after the piledriver to Benjamin and took the shot.”
GHEORGHE: “Sherman Wentworth grabs Lindsay Troy .. but Troy with a fist to the gut! Wentworth doubled over .. and that’s all she needs as Troy plants him into the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Troy gets back up … and she is heading toward Hensen!”
JIVE: “Not if Chandler Maxwell has anything to say about it!”
GHEORGHE: “Maxwell from behind spins Troy around … BUT TROY GRABS THE HEAD OF MAXWELL … AND SWEEPS THE LEGS OUT FROM UNDERNEATH HIM DRIVING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD INTO THE MAT!”
JULIUS: “Thankfully the ring is on those floatation devices and is semi-stable .. because the ring could’ve tipped over and all of them would have gone into the water!”
JIVE: “And somehow that wouldn’t surprise me.”
GHEORGHE: “Tyler Hensen on top of Dan Ryan wailing away … and Lindsay Troy FINALLY makes her way to the two..”
JULIUS: “Spoke too soon, Gheorghe. Adam Benjamin just reach over and grabbed the leg of Troy almost tripping her.”
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy looks like she’s about to blow a gasket … and SHE JUST PLAYED FIELD GOAL KICKER WITH ADAM BENJAMIN’s HEAD!”
JIVE: “Benjamin’s knocked out!”
GHEORGHE: “Hensen gets off Ryan and sits him up .. and now Hensen locks on a sleeper! He’s pushing all his weight down on “the Ego Buster’s” neck … and Troy turns from Benjamin and finnnnally break….. jeez!”
JULIUS: “Sherman Wentworth recovered from the swinging neckbreaker, and he just hopped on Troy’s back and applied a sleeper of his own!”
GHEORGHE: “Both members of Bored of Edukashun have sleepers on the Inner Circle…. and if Wentworth and Hensen could cause Troy and Ryan to black out … they’d be a shoe in to become New ERA’s first ever World Tag Team champions!”
JIVE: “Ryan’s looking woozy..”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan’s eyes are starting to shut … Hensen looks up in glee at his partner …. JUST TO SEE HIM TOSSED OFF THE BACK OF TROY! Lindsay Troy reached up and pulled Wentworth up and over her head and to the mat!”
JULIUS: “The bitch got power.”
GHEORGHE: “Dean!”
JULIUS: “What? I say it in a loving manner…”
GHEORGHE: “Chandler Maxwell is back up! Maxwell … MAXWELL WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF TROY’s HEAD AND SHE’s DOWN! And here he comes for Dan Ryan and Tyler Hensen!”
JIVE: “Why is he going to break up Hensen’s sleeper? Dan Ryan could toss all four of his opponents out of the ring with one arm … at once!”
GHEORGHE: “Chandler Maxwell with a knee to the face of Dan Ryan … and he grabs Hensen by the head … and yanks the sleeper hold off! Chandler Maxwell drops down and hits the fireman’s carry! Maxwell grabs Hensen back to his feet … BUT HENSEN BLOCKS THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Tyler Hensen with a European uppercut of his own…. and a second! Hensen now grabs the head of Chandler Maxwell….. AND HE THROWS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!”
(SFX: Splash!)
GHEORGHE: “AND MAXWELL IS OUT!”
JIVE: “That certainly puts the Saviors of Wrestling at a disadvantage … if the Inner Circle and Bored of Edukashun think smart, they would eliminate Benjamin next .. so that way they don’t have to worry about a third man butting in on their business!”
GHEORGHE: “Tyler Hensen smacks his hands together and turns … RIGHT INTO A DAN RYAN GRIP! Dan Ryan has his hand square around the throat of Tyler Hensen!”
JULIUS: “Kiss Hensen good bye. Ryan’s going to choke slam his out of the ring and into the water.”
GHEORGHE: “As you can see in the background, the referee’s boat is driving over to Maxwell .. and they’re pulling him to safety.. He’ll be transferred to a second boat and driven back to the cruise ship…”
JULIUS: “That’s one way to avoid outside interference at least … put the match in the ocean.”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan HOISTS Hensen up in the air …. WAIT!! Hensen has his feet locked under the ropes! Ryan can’t quite get him up all the way …”
JIVE: “If Hensen doesn’t let go of the ropes with his feet, momma’s gonna have a baby and it’s head’s gonna pop off.”
GHEORGHE: “Hensen keeps his legs … NO! Dan Ryan decided to just push the body of Hensen over the top rope! TYLER HENSEN IS HOLDING ON TO THE TOP ROPE AS HE DANGLES OVER THE OPEN WATER!”
JULIUS: “Ryan laughing as Hensen struggles to hold on .. I’m sure those ropes are nice and wet from the misty winds and the splashing against the side of the ring.”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan starts prying at the hands … and here’s Sherman Wentworth! Wentworth grabs Dan Ryan from behind …….. AND HITS THE RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX!”
JIVE: “Dan Ryan caught totally unaware of Wentworth .. and now Wentworth reaches through the ropes and pulls his partner in. How sickening.”
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy had no idea what was going on as she was picking up Adam Benjamin from the mat …”
JULIUS: “She still has no idea.”
GHEORGHE: “Troy hooks the arm of Benjamin … AND HITS THE ARMBREAKER! Benjamin drops to his knees … and Troy drives her patella right into his face.”
JIVE: “HER WHAT?!”
JULIUS: “Knee cap you imbecile.”
JIVE: “Oh.. I knew that….”
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy grabs Adam Benjamin .. and she HAS “Yours Truly” in a gorilla press!!!”
JIVE: “I think the Saviors of Wrestling are about to be washed up.”
GHEORGHE: “AND TROY TOSSES BENJAMIN OVER THE TOP ROPE!”
(SFX: Splash!)
JULIUS: “And he belly flops his way to a Saviors of Wrestling total elimination.”
JACOBS (V/O): “The Saviors of Wrestling … have been eliminated!”
GHEORGHE: “Maxwell and Benjamin did not look to be in the shape that we’re used to seeing them … as they hardly had an offense at all.”
JIVE: “Their wrestling was offensive.”
JULIUS: “As are your jokes.”
GHEORGHE: “So that leaves us with … the original finalists in the World Tag Team Championship Tournament … the Inner Circle and Bored of Edukashun!”
JIVE: “It’s about to be Bored of Edukashun and Lindsay Troy in a second … Hensen and Wentworth have Dan Ryan up against the ropes!”
GHEORGHE: “Troy turns .. AND SHE SEES BORED OF EDUKASHUN TRYING TO ELIMINATE RYAN!! Lindsay Troy charges over there … and she grabs Hensen … UNDERHOOK FACEBREAKER! Sherman Wentworth releases Ryan … and Lindsay Troy … kick to gut … Troy grabs the head of Wentworth … AND SHE RUNS TO THE CORNER! Troy runs up the turnbuckle pads …. AND HITS THE RUNNING BACKFLIP DDT!”
JULIUS: “And this is why the Inner Circle is going to have a stranglehold on the belts once they win them here tonight. Just like that Lindsay Troy neutralized the threat.”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan on one knee as he catches his breath .. and now Troy grabs Hensen … she hooks him … and nails the release belly to belly suplex! Troy back up … AND SHE GRABS HENSEN AND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!”
(SFX: … nothing.)
GHEORGHE: “BUT HENSEN SOMEHOW GRABS THE SECOND ROPES FROM THE OUTSIDE AND KEEPS HIMSELF FROM BEING ELIMINATED!”
JIVE: “Obviously that was just insane luck… his arm got caught on the second rope on the way over and the momentum flung him back in the ring.”
JULIUS: “Either way, Troy can’t believe it and she’s back over to him.”
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy tries again …. BUT WENTWORTH HAS HER! Sherman Wentworth has a hold of Troy’s leg … and she’s trying to shake him off.”
JIVE: “Thank God for Dan Ryan.”
GHEORGHE: “And now Dan Ryan is up! Ryan grabs Wentworth and drags him away from Troy! RYAN DROPS THE ELBOW INTO THE JAW OF WENTWORTH! Lindsay Troy has Tyler Hensen back to his feet … but Hensen grabs Troy! Hensen turns the tables and has Troy against the ropes … AND HE’S GRABBING AT THE LEG OF “the Queen of the Ring” TRYING TO DUMP HER OVER!”
JULIUS: “Troy’s going up … up … AND OVER!”
(SFX: … nope, nothing.)
GHEORGHE: “But Lindsay Troy is holding on!!!”
JIVE: “Her shoulders! Look at her shoulders!! She’s flipped over awkwardly .. that’s gotta kill.”
GHEORGHE: “Hensen trying to slam forearms into the shoulders of Troy to knock her off the ropes….. WHAT IS THIS?!”
(SFX: Jeers from the crowd are audible through the announcer’s headsets.)
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy .. TROY HAS COME BACK AROUND WITH HER LEGS … AND SHE HAS HENSEN’s HEAD LOCKED!! LINDSAY TROY WITH THE HEADSCISSORS AND HENSEN GOES OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!”
(SFX: Spla… gotcha! Still nothing!)
GHEORGHE: “AND NOW HENSEN IS HANGING ONTO THE TOP ROPE!”
JIVE: “But Hensen at least isn’t contorting his body!”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan has Sherman Wentworth in the corner on the opposite side of the ring and he is driving the shoulder into the midsection .. if only he knew that his partner was only a finger slip away from being eliminated!”
JULIUS: “At this point I think Dan Ryan is focused on eliminating Wentworth and then turning his attention to whoever is left, if anyone.”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan … HE IS PLACING SHERMAN WENTWORTH ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!”
JIVE: “This is going to get ugly!”
GHEORGHE: “Meanwhile, Lindsay Troy is trying to use her legs to kick Tyler Hensen off the ropes … Oh my… DAN RYAN … HE’S GOING UP TOP WITH WENTWORTH!”
JULIUS: “If Ryan hits this move … the impact is going to cause both Hensen and his own partner to fall into the harbor… I love it!”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan hooks the head and arm of Sherman Wentworth ….”
JIVE: “Wait! Lindsay Troy just pulled herself up and over!! She’s back in the ring!”
JULIUS: “So is Hensen! Tyler Hensen caught his footing and rolled underneath the bottom rope! It looks like they avoided the impending elimination now that Dan Ryan has Wentworth hooked!”
GHEORGHE: “Hensen to his feet first … and he has Lindsay Troy … AND HE’s TRYING TO DUMP HER OVER!”
JIVE: “Troy’s got a stranglehold on the top rope though … she’s just going to let Hensen wear himself down!”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan … RY.. NO!! Sherman Wentworth blocks the superplex! Sherman Wentworth with a headbutt and Dan Ryan jumps off the top rope to the mat! Ryan is standing there holding his head …. AND WENTWORTH WITH THE FLYING CROSSBODY BLOCK!”
JIVE: “Dan Ryan caught him!! He caught him in mid-air!”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan drops Wentworth across the knee … and he yanks him back up! Meanwhile Tyler Hensen still trying to dump Troy over the top rope!”
JULIUS: “Dan Ryan grabs the arm of Wentworth … and irish whips him across the ring …”
GHEORGHE: “OH MY!! WENTWORTH HEADING STRAIGHT FOR HENSEN AND TROY!!!!”
(SFX: Crowd pops huge over the headsets. SPLASH!)
GHEORGHE: “OH MY GOD!!! WENTWORTH WENT CRASHING INTO HENSEN AND TROY … AND CAUSED THEM BOTH TO GO FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE INTO THE WATER!!”
JIVE: “It’s down to Sherman Wentworth and Dan Ryan to see who is going to take home the championships for their team!”
JULIUS: “Congratulations to the Inner Circle are in order.”
GHEORGHE: “Wentworth on the mat … Hensen and Troy coming up from underneath the water… and Dan Ryan slaps himself in the head as he realizes what just happened!”
JIVE: “So.. does Wentworth get credit for eliminating Troy and his partner, or does Dan Ryan?”
GHEORGHE: “Who knows!! But the World Tag Team Championships are about to be crowned to someone!”
JULIUS: “The Inner Circle! Tyler Hensen could try all he wanted to … but there’s no way in hell Sherman Wentworth is going to be able to face up to Dan Ryan on his own.”
GHEORGHE: “Wentworth using the ropes to get back to his feet as Dan Ryan comes over to him … Ryan with the back of Wentworth’s tights … he pulls him backwards .. and DRIVES the forearm into the lower back! Sherman Wentworth down to a knee … and Ryan grabs his arms and starts pulling them back!”
JIVE: “Ryan is going to snap his arms clear off!”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan yelling at Sherman Wentworth now … I think he’s telling him that he’s all alone now!”
JULIUS: “He’s trying to scare the piss out of him… and I think it’s working!”
GHEORGHE: “Sherman Wentworth’s eyes getting wide … and he catches a glimpse of Tyler Hensen being pulled aboard the referee’s boat!”
JIVE: “It’s all over but the crying…. and even now I think the crying’s come.”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan … he places the foot in the back ………. WAIT! WENTWORTH JUST LET OUT A SCREAM …….. AND HE YANKS HIS ARMS FREE!!”
JULIUS: “Jesus Christ, he’s going psycho!”
GHEORGHE: “Sherman Wentworth turns … AND POPS RYAN IN THE MOUTH! Wentworth with another shot! Dan Ryan surprised … AND WENTWORTH JUMPS UP, GRABS THE HEAD OF RYAN AND SLAMS HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE MAT!”
JIVE: “No .. this can’t be happening … did Tyler Hensen succeed? Is Wentworth’s fear going to propel them to the World Tag Team Championships???”
GHEORGHE: “Lindsay Troy screaming at Dan Ryan from the other boat … and Sherman Wentworth .. he’s going to the top!”
JULIUS: “Doesn’t he know what happened last time he went up top? Dan Ryan won’t make the same mistake this time by keeping him in the ring if he catches him…”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan still on the mat ….. SHERMAN WENTWORTH MEASURES ….. AND FLIES OFF WITH THE MOONSAUL……. NO!!!!!!! RYAN PUT UP THE KNEES!!!”
JIVE: “And Sherman Wentworth gets an “F” for effort.”
GHEORGHE: “I think that might be all she wrote for Sherman Wentworth .. but both men still on the mat.”
JULIUS: “Dan Ryan had enough ring presence to put up the knees … so you know he’s still in there.”
GHEORGHE: “Unless it was pure desperation…”
JULIUS: “Pure desperation against the likes of Sherman Wentworth? Have another martini, Gheorghe.”
GHEORGHE: “DAN RYAN SITS UP!! Ryan still holding on to his face .. but he is sitting up … and now he’s getting to his feet!”
JIVE: “I hope those belts are nice and buffed up ..”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan grabs Sherman Wentworth … BUT WENTWORTH WITH A SHOT TO THE GU… NO! Ryan knees him in the head!”
JULIUS: “The little prick is going to go out fighting, that’s for sure.”
GHEORGHE: “Dan Ryan ... IRISH WHIP …. NO! REVERSAL BY WENTWORTH!! …….. RE-REVERSAL BY RYAN!! Sherman Wentworth into the ropes …. AND DAN RYAN WITH A BACK BODY DROP OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!!”
(SFX: CROWD EXPLODES!.... and that’s it!)
JULIUS: “THE FUCKER LANDED ON HIS FEET!”
GHEORGHE: “Sherman Wentworth landed on his feet on the outside of the mat!! Dan Ryan turns …. AND WENTWORTH WITH THE ARM CLAP RIGHT TO THE HEAD OF RYAN!”
JIVE: “And Sherman Wentworth just slid into the ring underneath the bottom ropes and through the legs of Ryan!”
GHEORGHE: “Ryan holding his head as Wentworth charges against the far ropes …. AND WENTWORTH IS COMING RIGHT AT HIM!! DAN RYAN TURNS …………. HIGH KNEE TO THE FACE! DAN RYAN GOES OVEEEER THE TOP ROPE!!!!”
(SFX: ….. SPLASH! CROWD EXPLODES!!!!)
JULIUS: “What the fuck?!”
(CUTTO: Lindsay Troy floating in the water.)
GHEORGHE: “LINDSAY TROY JUMPED OFF THE BOAT AND INTO THE WATER..”
JIVE: “DAN RYAN IS ON THE OUTSIDE APRON OF THE RING!! HE DIDN’T GO IN!”
JULIUS: “Sherman Wentworth doesn’t know it! Wentworth heard the splash… and he’s on his feet with his arms in the air! He gives the thumbs up to his partner … but HENSEN IS YELLING AT HIM!”
JIVE: “DAN RYAN IS UP! RYAN IS UP! By GOD!”
GHEORGHE: “Wentworth turns around …. AND DAN RYAN JUST POPPED HIM IN THE JAW WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Wentworth spun around …. AND DAN RYAN GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT!!! RYAN …. RYAN DRAGGING SHERMAN WENTWORTH OVER THE TOP ROPE … AND CHOKESLAMS HIM INTO THE WATER!!!”
JULIUS: “NO NO NO!! Wentworth holds on to Ryan!! Wentworth held on ….. AND THEY BOTH GO CRASHING INTO THE WATER!”
(SFX: Bell rings on the ship as the crowd continues to pop huge! In the middle of the harbor, Sherman Wentworth comes up from beneath the water’s surface and splashes around as he can’t believe what just happened.)
GHEORGHE: “And Troy .. she’s swimming to the ring!”
JIVE: “What the hell has just happened?! Are the New ERA World Tag Team Championships going to stay vacant again?!”
GHEORGHE: “I have no clue, Nick! This is amazing! Here comes Hensen now jumping in the water … and he’s swimming over to Sherman Wentworth! Lindsay Troy has made it over to Dan Ryan … and now BOTH teams are propping themselves up to the ring!”
(The referee looks around, not knowing what to do. Carl Jacobs’ motorboat speeds to the ring, with him holding on for dear life.)
GHEORGHE: “Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t know what to say … Dan Ryan and Lindsay Troy seemingly tricked Sherman Wentworth into thinking that Ryan was eliminated … but Wentworth held onto Ryan .. and they both went into the water!”
JULIUS: “If the World Tag Team Championships stay vacant .. then they should just flip a coin… this is getting out of hand!”
GHEORGHE: “The referee is talking with Carl Jacobs right now … trying to discuss most likely what happened.”
JIVE: “Troy and Ryan are pacing around … Wentworth and Hensen are standing in the corner with their heads down … nobody knows what’s going on right now!”
(Carl Jacobs nods at the referee and walks to the center of the ring, almost tripping as a slight wave bounces the ring up in the air.)
JULIUS: “Looks like we’re going to find out.”
JACOBS: “The winners of this match ….. and New ERA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS …”
GHEORGHE: “There are champions!”
JACOBS: “Due to the fact that DAN RYAN’s entire body entered the water before Sherman Wentworths ………. BORED ………… OF EDUKASHUN!”
(SFX: Bell rings. An audible pop from the crowd can be heard on the floating ring from the fans watching on the cruise ship.)
JIVE: “That didn’t just happen!! Tell me that Sherman Wentworth didn’t just eliminate Dan Ryan!”
GHEORGHE: “HE did! And apparently, even though the Inner Circle tried to steal one away … Dan Ryan’s body entered the water first!!”
JIVE: “I guess there ARE benefits to being a scrawny little twig when you’re facing someone as big as Ryan!”
JULIUS: “The Inner Circle… are NOT happy! And look at that look of disgust on Lindsay Troy’s face as the referee hands Wentworth and Hensen the titles!”
