Nicholas Moretti: Hey, I didn't know you were coming over. How come you didn't call Babe?
Regina Martinez: I was on my way back to my dorm and I thought I'd just stop by to say hi.
Nicholas Moretti: Well all right, it's good to see you. [He leaned in and kissed her.] How was classes today?
Regina Martinez: It was productive. What about you? [she smiles at him as she takes her shoes off then walks towards his bed]
Nicholas Moretti: It was good, I only had an afternoon class and then I've been back here studying for finals most of the evening. [He walked over and took a seat in his desk chair which he was sitting in before.] I'm glad you stopped by.
Regina Martinez: [she takes a seat on his bed after taking her coat off and placing it on the post of the bed.] Oh I forgot you weren't done with them yet. I finished today.
Nicholas Moretti: How do you think you did?
Regina Martinez: Aced them. [she smiles at him] Just like you will. So, want some company tonight.
Nicholas Moretti: [A smirk crossed his face as he nodded.] Actually that sounds like a good idea. Regina Martinez: [she smiled back at him] My roommate has her bubble butt boyfriend sleeping over and he snores really loud. I figured it would be okay since you have a single. Nicholas Moretti: Yeah Babe, you know you're welcome to stay any time you want. [He eyed her as he sat back in his chair and out his arms behind his head.] Anything you had in mind that you wanted to do tonight? Regina Martinez: [she smiles at him] I can't take you away from your studies to do that... [she winks at him] You know we should just get our own apartment it'd be less difficult. Nicholas Moretti: You sure you want to take that step? It's a big one Reggie.
Regina Martinez: Yeah why not? We're always together anyway and you're clean. You put the toliet seat down and you are a great cook.
Nicholas Moretti: [He laughed to himself and smiled at her.] All right if you're really serious about this then let's do it.
Regina Martinez: Really? [she smiles at him as her face lights up] You mean it?
Nicholas Moretti: Yeah I mean you're right-- we're together all the time anyway. Why shouldn't we get a place together?
Regina Martinez: Exactly. I mean it would be great. We wouldn't have to worry about leaving our things at our dorms anymore. No more sneaking over in the middle night for sleepovers. No more tiny beds... Snoring roommates boyfriends.
Nicholas Moretti: [He walked over to the bed and sat down beside her.] So when should we start looking for a place?
Regina Martinez: I can start looking tomorrow if you'd like then once your done with your finals we can go check them out.
Nicholas Moretti: I think that's a great idea...
[His cell phone began to ring, he reached over and grabbed it, answering it.]
Nicholas Moretti: Hey Jule, what's up?...Everything okay?...What's wrong?...Then why are you crying?...[He sighed and sat back against the headboard.] Listen I'm with Regina right now...I'll see what I can do, I'll call you in a little while. Bye. [He hung up the phone and exhaled.]
Regina Martinez: What's wrong with her now?
Nicholas Moretti: Something about her and Logan, I think they had a fight. Anyway I think she needs me to go over there and talk to her.
Regina Martinez: What about me? I thought we were spending quality time together...
Nicholas Moretti: [He ran his hand across his forehead.] We are Babe, I promise. What if you stayed here while I went over there for an hour, tops and then I'll be back?
Regina Martinez: I can promise you that I'll be out cold sleeping by the time you get back here.
Nicholas Moretti: What do you want me to do Reggie? She's my friend and she's really upset.
Regina Martinez: Just go I'll be fine okay.
Nicholas Moretti: Don't be upset okay? I'll be back in less than an hour, I promise.
Regina Martinez: An hour tops okay? Otherwise I'll be sleeping.
[He nodded, kissed her goodbye and grabbed his coat. He left his dormroom and his girlfriend on his bed. It was a five minute walk to Julie's dormroom where he knew she was at. He zipped up his coat and continued to walk to his friend's room. Finally after a little while he made it and knocked on the door. Julie came to the door dressed in a pair of pajama pants and a over-sized hodded sweatshirt. She was on her cell phone and her eyes were red-rimmed and puffy. She stepped aside and let Nicholas walk in.]
Julie Taylor: What do you want me to say Logan?...[She raised her voice a bit.] You're the one who is making a big deal out of nothing! It was a fucking party, I didn't go alone! I was with Nick and Regina, seriously you need to calm down; I haven't cheated on you or anything like that....Whatever Logan, I'm hanging up now....No I'm hanging up now, leave me alone. [She clicked off her phone and looked at Nicholas, wiping her eyes with the sleeve of her sweatshirt.] Hey Nick, what's up?
Nicholas Moretti: [He slid his hands into his pockets.] I don't know, why don't you tell me? Sounds like things were getting pretty heated between you and Logan. Everything okay?
Julie Taylor: No...He was freaking out because he found out I went with you and Regina to that frat party. He called me up about forty minutes ago and just started screaming at me. [She sniffled and took a seat on her bed.] He was calling me every single name in the book Nicky. [She lowered her head and continued to cry.] I can't do this with him anymore. I can't take him treating me like this, especially when I haven't done anything wrong.
[He walked over and took a seat beside her, sliding an arm around her shoulders holding her close. She continued to cry in his arms as the two of them sat there in silence. In fact most of his time there was in silence and when he left Julie had cried herself out and was close to falling asleep. By the time he got back his own dormroom Regina was asleep and he felt extremely guilty.] start
